Nice beer garden for after school

We like the friendly nature of the waiters (especially towards the children) and the German cuisine. Food is prepared in-house, but some is probably also purchased. That doesn't bother us. There are changing dishes, which are noted on black boards. In addition, the schnitzels are perfectly fine for the money; the small portions are enough for us. Our tip at the end: 1x apple rings with cinnamon and ice cream (enough for the whole family). The restaurant accepts credit cards. We eat there regularly.

I tried schnitzel and curry wurst and both were delicious. Waiters were kind. Beers are also fine.

We were looking forward to beer gardens in Erlangen, but had bad weather. The beautiful restaurant also has nice seats inside. I really enjoyed the beer (light). Of course the wheat that my cousin drank. The selection of food is fine and sufficient. Of course there is also a daily menu with delicacies. The vegetable schnitzel was really underground. Charging almost €13 for a limp frozen product with a thin, tasteless tomato sauce and unsalted fries is a bit cheeky. Other beer gardens in and around Erlangen do a much better job with vegan dishes. Service was good, quick and friendly.

We ordered there for the first time today and it was a complete disaster. The potato salad was bad and I don't mean that it wasn't tasty, just that it was rotten. The roast was toe, the meat cakes were much too soft and didn't taste good either. Bratwursts were good, but you really can't go wrong with them, sauerkraut didn't taste like anything, the only thing that tasted good was the salad from the roast and the dumpling. Even the sauce from the roast was just tasteless. I will never order from there again. Without the rotten potato salad, I would have thought... ok, it's just not my taste because everything was way too unseasoned, but the rotten potato salad was really a disgrace.

Traditional beer garden with many large trees, for the little guests with a sandpit and slide. A large selection of cold and warm dishes for large and small appetites as well as a diverse drinks menu. We always like to meet there.

Today for a roast pork and a hunter's roast in the Biergate. The waitress didn't know what she was bringing, didn't speak German, and brought the wrong food. After the complaint, the right thing came at some point. The food was terribly bad, I have never had such a bad sauce anywhere. You couldn't eat it and the lumps of flour were still visible. I'd love to have a drink, but definitely won't go out to eat anymore. Have already fallen in several times, e.g. B. A SNAIL in a salad. That's enough now!!!

In the middle of Erlangen, approx. 6 minutes walk from Röthelheim Bad. A cozy beer garden in a cultural residential area. Nice under the trees with large parasols. A little rain makes little difference. Food and drinks price-performance acceptable. Recommended for lunch or an evening with friends. Register larger groups if possible. There is enough space indoors when the weather is not so good. Daily specials, warm dishes and cold plates. Everything available. Rating 86% with 4.6 stars.

A great beer garden within a residential area near the center. Here you can enjoy home cooking both cold and warm. Especially to come down. On hot days, it's ideal to enjoy a cold drink here without having to travel far. The quality of the food varies, as does the preparation of the drinks. Especially when it comes to Aperol Spritz, the mixture is different every time and sometimes too little Aperol. Nevertheless, it's always worth a visit, whether you're hungry or small.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Took advantage of the warm summer evening and spent it in the beer garden. The beer is delicious and the fries are served hot and crispy. The visit is also possible with small children. A number of children's high chairs are available and these are used flexibly. Thanks to the closed area, the little ones can't escape and quickly find other children in the sandpit or on the small seesaw. Unfortunately there is no possibility to change diapers anywhere inside. A changing table would be nice!

Reservations are recommended, especially in the evenings (but also at lunchtime!), especially for larger groups. The line at the ordering counter is sometimes long, but the food usually comes fairly quickly. The prices are in the usual range, with a good price-performance ratio. I always enjoy coming here.

I was there for an after-work beer. Half a liter of Mönchshof non-alcoholic shandy costs €4.50. Tables are under huge umbrellas and large linden trees. If you're lucky, you'll get a parking space on one of the two one-way streets near the beer garden.

An absolute coincidence find near us that pleasantly surprised us. Not only is this a really nice, small and even quiet beer garden. The food needs to be highlighted again and the chef needs to be praised! Such great quality for a beer garden, everything fresh and noticeably homemade. Really nice home cooking without any unnecessary fuss. Simply delicious! My recommendation: Viennese style schnitzel with potato salad Mind you, homemade (!!!) potato salad, where can you get that in a beer garden these days? But all the other dishes we tried were also very good! We have found our new favorite beer garden here and will be coming back more often from now on!

Unfortunately the weather wasn't great and we had to sit inside, which took its toll - you smell a lot of food when you leave the place. I personally find it very unpleasant. Food was okay and service was good too.

You should know that you place your order at the counter and the waitress will then bring it to your table. Super fast. The price performance ratio is very good. 8.50€ for a measure... We were able to spontaneously get a table for two in the evening without a reservation. The employees were friendly and we were served very quickly. The food was hot and brought to the table after just 10 minutes. The portions were large. It tasted very good and the prices were justified.

Always worth a trip. The beer garden is practically completely shaded. You buy your drinks and food at the counter and give the table number. The prices are currently “reasonable”. I had a vegetable schnitzel for €12.50 plus a side salad for €3.50. The 0.75 l bottle of water costs €4.20. Everyone enjoyed it.

You can go there now. It's all very, very simple. The service also leaves something to be desired. Not even fully expelled, people ask if you can take the glass with you.

The food is really great! Delicious traditional Franconian cuisine and there is also something for the children! The staff seems a bit overwhelmed when there is a lot going on. The environment is okay, nicely decorated but right next to a road and gravel ground. Still 5 stars because for me the most important thing in a restaurant is the food!

Wir waren am zweiten Weihnachtstag dort. Das Essen war schnell nach der Bestellung da und schmeckte sehr gut. Gans, Schäuferla, Cordon Bleu und Currywurst sind zu empfehlen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist im Durchschnitt noch befriedigend. Allerdings gibt's auch Ausreißer wie die Gans, die bei satten 26 Euro und ein paar Zerquetschten liegt! Das Ambiente ist angenehm. An Feiertagen wird übrigens ein Zeitfenster vergeben. Von 12 bis 14 Uhr durften wir an unserem vorreservierten Tisch Platz nehmen. Fazit: Empfehlenswert.

Übersichtliche Portion Matjes mit Bratkartoffeln, die eher weniger zum Preis passt....aber das ist ja langsam überall so. Service war aber überwiegend ganz gut auch wenn man lange auf die Getränke warten musste

Super gemütliches Gasthaus. Netter Wirt. Sehr gutes Bier. Super Essen. Geschmackvoller Salat. Super Schweinebraten. Und eines der wenigen Lokale in Deutschland die ein Wiener Schnitzel für einen Österreicher richtig machen.

Gestern 11.11.2023 um 14:00 dort gewesen. Ich habe Lendchen bestellt meine Frau Schnitzel. Beide Essen waren geschmacklos. Lende viel gebraten trocken wie Baumrinde. Hälfte auf dem Teller gelassen. Meine Frau Ebenfalls Hälfte von Schnitzel auf dem Teller gelassen. Im Sommer gehe ich vielleicht wieder zum Bier trinken. Schade...

Der bestellte Salat war richtig gut. Der Preis mag etwas hoch erscheinen, aber allein die Salatsauce war grandios.

Zunächst wurde unsere Reservierung im Garten für 5 Personen nicht gemacht. Es hieß lapidar: Setzen sie sich wohin, wo sie wollen. Schon seltsam, wenn man auf der Webseite eine Reservierungsmöglichkeit anbietet. Es war Samstag abend und da ist erfahrungsgemäß in den warmen Abenden voll und eine Reservierung angeraten. Dies war der 1. Fauxpas.Mein Karpfen mittelgroß war eine einzige Katastophe. Die "Panade" bestand aus einem Hauch von Mehl, stellenweise war er blank, kaum gewürzt, Salz und Pfeffer Fehlanzeige auf den Gartentischen, der Geschmack des Karpfenfleisches war komplett ungewürzt und nicht definierbar. Ein Karpfen sollte schon nach Karpfen schmecken und nicht wie ein Stück Papperdeckel. Meine beiden Begleitungen waren bezüglich meiner Ausführungen der gleichen Meinung. Ebenso unmöglich war der fast ungeschnittene Salat zum Schnitzel. Warum die Qualität so nachgelassen hat, wissen wir nicht. Jedenfalls den Karpfenlieferanten würde ich wechseln. Aus welchen Eck der Erde der Fisch auch herkam, er war wahrlich kein Genuss. Wie gesagt nur unsere Meinung. Wir essen in Zukunft jedenfalls woanders.

Gute deutsche Küche, nette Bedienung und ordentlicher Biergarten nebendran. PreisLeistung top, komme gerne wieder.

In einem Wohngebiet gelegener relativ großer Biergarten. Sehr schön hergerichtet. Große Bäume spenden viel Schatten. Für die Kinder gibt es einen Sandkasten. Die Bestellung geht schnell und unkompliziert. Das Essen kam auch zügig. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich. Einziger Kritikpunkt: die Sanitäranlagen könnten sauberer sein. Das Essen ist vergleichsweise preiswert, zwischen 6 und 13 Euro, die Getränke eher teuer (4,50 Euro/Bier)

Im Prinzip ganz gut. Heute aber mal wieder mehr verkauft als auf Lager war und die Teller waren deutlich leerer. Naja, somit ist ein Teil der Familie hungrig nach Hause.

In den letzten Wochen drei Mal hier gewesen, leider jedes Mal vom Essen enttäuscht. Immer etwas anderes probiert, aber jedes mal einfach schlecht. Vielleicht habe ich Pech gehabt, weil ich zu Stoßzeiten kam. Das Essen schmeckt ei fach fad und als wäre es kurzfristig eher schlecht als recht aufgewärmt worden. Den Biergarten würde ich zum Essen niemadem mehr empfehlen. Ansonsten aber sehr gemütlich und für Getränke auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Schöner Biergarten gutes essen .

Der Biergarten ist wirklich schön. Zentral gelegen und trotzdem ruhig, unter alten Bäumen. Den Stern Abzug gibt es für das furchtbare Kulmbacher Bier, dad ist nix. Es gäbe so viele hervorragende Alternativen hier in der Gegend!

Wir waren doch sehr enttäuscht über unseren Besuch. Die Getränke waren ok, das Essen war aber leider Preis/Leistungs technisch nicht tragbar. Die Käsespätzle haben nur so vor Fett getrieft. Das Brot als Beilage zu den Platten war so ein billig abgepacktes Brot, was man in jedem Laden für einen Euro kaufen kann, das Blaukraut war komplett zerkocht, die Ochsenbäckchen waren zwar Zart, leider vermisste man an ihnen und an der Soße die Würze. Zu guter (oder schlechter) letzt war die Käse Platte echt unterste Schublade, nur Weichkäse der billigsten Sorte, zwei Brocken Butterkäse und beim Gerupften fehlte jeglicher Geschmack. Die Platte wurde fast komplett abgeräumt (was an dem Tag öfters vorkam, wie ich es mitbekommen habe) und es wurde nicht einmal nachgefragt, warum. Das nennt man Kundenservice... Leider keinen weiter Besuch mehr wert, schade...

Bin immer nervös wenn wir hier rein gehen. Bin schon öfters nicht überzeugt worden. Jetzt war ma ca. 4 Jahre nicht mehr da und waren heut echt positiv überrascht. Essen und Service sehr gut, ein Sandkasten ist auch (schon immer) da. Ich hatte Matjes mit Bratkartoffeln. Die Matjes waren gut, die Bratkartoffeln echte und sehr lecker! Kinderschnitzel und Pommes auch gut, schöne Panade und Pommes knusprig. Schweinebraten mit Beilagensalat lecker, Soße war mir zu heftig, Kloß groß und lecker. Service überall sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
