Sehr schöne Terrasse und überaus freundliches Personal. Falls Sie in der Gegend sind, ist dieses Restaurant absolut empfehlenswert.

Ich habe mich sehr gefreut zu sehen, dass es ein vollständiges veganes Essen gibt: Gemüseschnitzel mit Salat, Pommes und Tomatensauce. Es ist super lecker und ich werde dafür wiederkommen!

Eine wirklich schöne Biergartenatmosphäre mit wirklich guten Preisen und wirklich gutem Essen. Die ganzen Mitarbeiter sind hilfsbereit, freundlich und nett. Die Toiletten sind auch sehr sauber. Bei schönem Wetter sollte man definitiv reservieren, da das Platzangebot im Außenbereich sehr begrenzt ist. Sehr zu empfehlen ist die Käse- und die Rödelheimplatte. Sehr reichhaltig und der Obatzter ist ein Gedicht👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Jedes Gericht ist lecker, jedoch ist es ratsam zu reservieren. Der Service besteht aus Bestellung mit Tischnummer an der Schänke. Keine Bestellung am Tisch. Personal serviert nur und räumt ab.

Absolut enttäuschende Essensqualität.... Soße für den Schweinebraten (Fertigsoße) die gleiche wie für den Zwiebelrostbraten!!! Man sitzt schön, das ist aber schon auch alles!! Schade

Es ist ein netter Ort, um ein Bier zu trinken. Es ist kühl und liegt unter Bäumen. Meistens kommen Familien hierher, und es hat so eine Art gemütliches Flair wie in einem städtischen Teegarten. Ich habe das Schnitzel probiert; es war weder besonders gut noch besonders schlecht. Die Pommes waren ziemlich gut.

Wir waren am Freitagabend mit Kollegen hier. Essen okay, Personal top! Ein dickes Minus gibt es aber für das Konzept: Bei über 30 Grad Hitze fast eine halbe Stunde für Getränke und Essen anzustehen, ist eine Zumutung. Laut den unüberhörbaren Kommentaren in der Schlange stand ich mit dieser Meinung definitiv nicht alleine da.

Toller Biergarten mit großen Bäumen die bei Sonne viel Schatten spenden. Selbstbedienung. Getränke kann man sofort mitnehmen, das Essen wird zum Tisch gebracht. Waren schon öfter dort und nie enttäuscht.

Toller Biergarten mit leckerem Essen und tollem Ambiente. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Das Essen wird zwar serviert, zum bestellen muss man sicher aber am Bierausschank anstellen. Wartezeit in der Schlange an einem lauen Sommerabend: 40 Minuten.

Getränke sehr gut. Muss man am Ausschank selber holen. Die Speisen sehr lecker. Muss man am Ausschank bestellen und wird dann an den Tisch gebracht. Alles zu einem fairen Preis.

Gutes Essen, Preis-Leistung passt, Biergarten schattig und sauber, schöne Kinderecke ohne das alle Gäste davon mitbekommen.

Kleine Biergartenoase im Süden von Erlangen, die nicht nur dem Gaumen sondern auch den Kindern Spaß macht (Kleiner Spielplatz).

Ein wirklich sehr schöner Biergarten. Das Essen war sehr lecker und preislich top. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Und auch noch mit kleinem Spielplatz für die Pänz.

Es ist echt schade wenn das Beste was ich dort gegessen habe Schnitzel mit Pommes waren und heute das Schnitzel nicht mal "gut" verdient hat. Für Pommes und Bier im Garten reichts. Für mehr leider nicht. Jetzt muss ich für den Schnitzelhunger doch weiter fahren. Schade. Netter Typ an der Schenke und nette Bedienung. Schöner Biergarten. Aber für den Preis erwarte ich einfach besseres oder zumindest gleich gutes Essen als aus ner Imbisbude. Und es darf ja auch Imbisbudenessen sein ... nur halt für 1/3 mehr will ich minimum 1/4 besser als Ullis Schnitzeleck. Und das ist echt nicht schwer.

Ambiente passt, Essen passt, Service passt. Es gibt leider nur eine Theke für die Annahme von Bestellungen + Getränke. Zu den Hauptzeiten führt dies leider dazu, dass man 30min. ansteht, egal ob für Erstbestellung oder zweite Getränkerunde... demotivierend. Deswegen der Punktabbzug.

Der Biergarten hat ein herrliches Ambiente, leider sind die Speisen nicht zu empfehlen, die Qualität ist nicht gut. Wir kennen den Biergarten schon seit Jahrzehnten, schade! Dies war heute unser 2. Versuch gutes Essen zu bekommen. - Schweizer Wurstsalat kleinste Wurststücke, wenig Käse, sehr wässrig angemacht, das Brot war schon älter! - Käseplatte: Käsequalität hätte vom Discounter gewesen sein, das Brot war nicht frisch. - Schnitzel auf seiner Seite verbrannt, der Herr vom Service wollte es der Küche berichten, - keine Reaktion - Cordon Blue sehr braun gebraten! Schade, dass die Preise nichts mit der Qualität des Essens zu vereinbaren sind.

Gut erreichbarer Biergarten im Erlanger Osten. Hier gibt es ausreichend Sitzplätze im Freien, bei schlechtem Wetter kann man in einen Innenraum ausweichen. Das Bier holt man sich an der Theke und bestellt unter Angabe der Tisch-Nummer gleich sein Essen mit. Das Essen wird wenig später vom Service Personal an den Tisch gebracht. Bei schönem Wetter muss man mit längerer Wartezeit rechnen. Wünschenswert wäre es, wenn neben Kitzmann noch ein Bier einer kleineren oberfränkischen Brauerei im Angebot zu finden ist...

Sehr schöner Ort mit gemütlicher Atmosphäre! Das Essen war wirklich lecker und frisch zubereitet, man merkt die gute Qualität der Zutaten. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Man fühlt sich direkt willkommen.

Essen war lecker und reichlich,obwohl es eine kleine Portion war.Was ich super begrüßt habe.

Als Anwohner haben wir den Biergarten und vor allem das Team schätzen gelernt und nach Umzug ist es uns die Anfahrt weiterhin wert. Wir haben dort die Bamensfeier unseres Sohnes gefeiert und auch hier war die Orga super simpel und alle sehr zufrieden mit Essen und Service.

Unfortunately, I ordered again after the first extremely bad meal because my brother wanted me to. The potato dumplings tasted good, but they were frozen, and the baguette was missing. The roast with mushroom cream sauce had far too little sauce and wasn't particularly flavorful, although the meat was at least tender. Oh, and there was no salad. The cheese spaetzle was okay, but under-seasoned. The pumpkin soup tasted only of carrots and had nothing to do with pumpkin soup. After the first time, with the rotten potato salad and everything being tasteless, I thought it might have improved, but I was sadly mistaken. The kitchen has deteriorated so much.

Large beer garden, the first time you go there, you don't necessarily understand the system. You have to go to the bar yourself, order drinks and food, and pay right away. You take your drinks with you, the food is brought to you. It was annoying because I didn't know what my friends wanted. So I went back, paid for everyone, and of course, no one at the table could give me the change. They should reconsider. Otherwise, the food was very good and the price was reasonable.

It was a small, quaint beer garden. Drinks and food were paid for in advance at the cash register. The food was served.

We were in the beer garden today with friends, our children (adults), and our dog. We were very surprised by the friendly service. The dog was even given water and asked if he'd like a bone. Dogs aren't always welcome! Thanks for the great service!

We ate here under the trees outside in the "garden." Typically German. You order at the service counter, and after paying, you get your drinks right away. Food is brought to your table. Very large meals and plenty of drinks; it's nice to sit like this and enjoy the company of everyone. It was very busy, and almost all the tables were occupied.

You tell us what you want to eat and it's served incredibly quickly. The food was simple, but plentiful and of good quality. We were there on a hot day, so we had to fight for a table. I would go back tomorrow if I wasn't traveling through.

One of the most beautiful beer gardens in Erlangen and highly recommended for dog owners (experienced beer garden dogs 😺). My dog loves it because they give us small Schäufleknochen (sword bones) every day... (with a bit of luck 😻)

While this isn't unusual for a beer garden, you have to order and pay for your food and drinks at the counter. You bring your own drinks, and the food is brought to you.

I'm only reviewing the beer garden here. We had to wait in line for almost half an hour to get a drink and place a food order. The owners should think about something! The prices are too high considering you have to place your order at the bar. The garden has a very nice ambiance.

I remembered the beer garden as a place with good food. Unfortunately, we were sorely disappointed. The spaetzle with wild mushroom sauce were spaetzle without any mushrooms, with a greenish-yellow sauce that had no hint of mushroom or forest flavor, but simply tasted disgustingly artificial and was hopelessly oversalted. The cheese spaetzle would have been good if they weren't so salty, and the spaetzle were swimming in several centimeters of fat, no lie. It was simply disgusting. We drained the fat because there was so much. The roast pork with dumplings and gravy was quite good, except for the gravy, which was very thick, but nothing special. The gravy seemed more like it came from a packet and not fresh. The cordon bleu was okay, the fries very crispy. All in all, no reason to come back. It was the last time.

Good but very expensive. Half a glass for 4.90 is quite steep for self-service. Cookie bread is twice as much as in other beer gardens.

Out of nowhere, a Green Party election rally with loud, intrusive sound. Even with full concentration, it was impossible to have a normal conversation. After trying to sit through the whole thing, we left the venue after an hour of campaigning.

I love going here with my son for a bite to eat after visiting the playground. There's also a small corner with a slide and two swings.

I had a mixed salad. I think it didn't have any salad dressing. I've ordered salad several times before. It included a baked potato and baked feta cheese, and the salad was always particularly delicious, and today I experienced this disaster. I wouldn't go there again for a while. It really put me off.

Had a small birthday party. The service inside was excellent, and I can only praise the food. The wait was a bit long, but understandable given the busy indoor and outdoor areas. I'd be happy to come back and thank you for the lovely stay.

A cozy restaurant and also a lovely beer garden. You might have to wait a bit when it's full, but that's unavoidable. When it's full, it can get a bit noisy, but otherwise quiet. We, the animal welfare regulars' group, meet every few weeks in the most beautiful beer garden in the world—well, maybe in Middle Franconia. Outside in the summer, inside in the winter. It's beautiful, delicious food, and truly something for everyone! It's also good value for money. The staff is always attentive and very friendly!

If you want to sit comfortably in a beer garden in the heart of Erlangen and choose from a good selection of food (including vegan and vegetarian options), then the "Bretterbude" is the perfect place. I love it there!

I had a decent portion of cheese spaetzle, but the other plates looked a bit lacking (there was a tiny piece of meat in the roast pork). I would come back.

If I have to queue for 30 minutes to get something to drink, where the pick-up prices for drinks are not exactly cheap, the food is brought, but for a beer garden, the price is high.

I've known the Bretter Bude for ages and so far I've been happy with the price-performance ratio and, among other things, it has a great beer garden. I cannot give a recommendation for a funeral service or similar gatherings. When we made a reservation by phone, the person on the phone said something completely different communicated when it corresponded to the facts on site. The lady announced that she just didn't have any cake at the time, so she had to order it first. It was clear that these had to be ordered additionally, but not that there should only be the cakes + if you wanted at least one coffee, the waiting time was longer than average because that was only possible with a cup of white. When we arrived at the restaurant there was already a sign with the wrong time for reservation

In the past it happened often, today it was for a family celebration. Great food, great staff and really good service. Heart, what more do you want?

Rustic beer garden, you can also sit inside, so a visit is also possible in bad weather or in winter. We come over for lunch every now and then, portions are enough even for good eaters.
