Highly recommended! We were invited to a birthday party. The food was delicious, the service was exceptionally good, very friendly, and our server was very attentive!

The pizza was very, very good. Moist, tender, and very well prepared. The dough was excellent. Not too dry or too greasy. The toppings were well-stocked, and I was pleasantly surprised. Service: It was busy. We sometimes had to wait a bit. The service was very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere: Very nice and a fantastic view of the water. Highly recommended for dining and relaxing evenings.

Great beach/restaurant/snack bar/campsite We refreshed ourselves while passing through, had a snack at the snack bar, and later had coffee and cake. We'd love to come back.

We ate here several times. The service is very professional, courteous, polite, and prompt. The food is delicious, and the ambiance and view couldn't be better. The price/performance ratio is very good.

Unfortunately, service has deteriorated significantly; the wait time was 20 minutes for drinks and 70 minutes for pizza at three-quarters capacity. The service was rude, unfortunately not ironic, but rude.

Last round was at 11 p.m. on a Friday, even though the terrace was still full and two events were taking place! I find that questionable! Our neighboring table also found the situation very questionable. Service took a while, and the entertainment left a lot to be desired! The food, on the other hand, is worth everything because it was perfect and saved the evening, despite the wait for drinks and the not-so-friendly staff!

I've been here several times, and the quality of the food has always been very good. I think the short wait times and the flag system for indicating your order are great.

A lovely place for a lovely day at the beach with the kids.

Unfortunately, the table is no longer what it used to be. As soon as we sat down, the waiter shouted at us loudly, asking why customers always sat where the table hadn't been cleared yet. There were two used glasses on the table and it was a spot with a direct view of the lake. After that, it took ages before we got any bread, and we had to go inside to get the sugar for our coffee ourselves because, despite repeated reminders, nothing happened. We always enjoyed coming here, but unfortunately many of the former waiters who had that certain something like a personal touch and a positive attitude to their work are no longer there. The location is really very nice there, but everything else has unfortunately changed a lot.

We had reserved a table for a birthday party. The table was in the middle of the place, quite cramped. There were no alternatives. The food was okay, as was the service. If you can sit outside in good weather, I recommend it for that reason alone. The inside is too cramped, too loud. A shame.

The food on offer is authentic and delicious, from traditional beer garden dishes to hearty specialties. The highlight, of course, is the freshly tapped beer, which tastes excellent and perfectly complements the atmosphere. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making you feel completely at home. All in all, a great place to enjoy the beautiful nature, have good company, and be pampered. Highly recommended!

Oh my god 😍😍😍 How delicious is the pizza? The dough is super fluffy, the base is super crispy, fresh tomatoes and fresh basil. Combined with the view of the beach and the super friendly staff, you feel like you're on vacation here. Simply amazing!!! Thank you!!!

I stopped here on my bike route to take a rest and grab some quick food and a beer. Service was fast. The atmosphere was great! I can see why it is a popular place to go for drinks and talk to a group of friends. The wheat beer tasted good but the Currywurst was okay. This is the perfect place to stop at when on a bike tour.

We've heard a lot of good things about the restaurant and expected accordingly. Unfortunately, the service leaves a lot to be desired. We were served by a waiter who spoke poor German and had gap teeth, who seemed totally stressed and overwhelmed despite there being fewer guests and, above all, was very unfriendly. He kept us waiting forever despite already expressing our wish to order. Other guests also waited a long time for their bill etc. Otherwise, a great restaurant in a fantastic location. Food was okay, but we would have expected a little more for the price.

I was there in the summer. Very nicely located restaurant on Lake Dutenhofen with a great outdoor area. Ideal for a romantic meal or even a family trip. Great staff. BUT: I ordered a baked potato with original Frankfurter Grüne sauce and received a jacket potato with herb quark wrapped in aluminum foil. Given the price level, I expected a lot more and only non-Frankfurters would fall for it

You can eat well, plentifully and in a pleasant atmosphere here. When the temperatures are warm you can sit wonderfully by the lake and the sandy beach. However, the restaurant is difficult to find for non-locals.

Here it's not just the gastronomy, but also the entire environment that is harmonious. Nice location with appetizing food & drinks. A pleasant atmosphere, great staff. Prices within limits. Very nice, large beer garden with a view of the lake. Other lakes for swimming, camping, pedal boat rental and much more. Many live events. A daily menu every day. Overall, a great place that offers something for everyone: partying with friends, sporting activities, sunbathing or just chilling and relaxing! Getting there by car isn't great, although there are enough parking spaces. It's better to take a bike, e-bike charging stations are provided. Almost always fully booked, so it's best to make a reservation. Absolutely recommended! Unfortunately it hasn't been an insider tip for a long time!

Too little selection at brunch. Hard (probably frozen) rolls with packaged jam for breakfast. There was a very small selection for the main course, especially since it was only fully available shortly before the end. There were no vegetables or anything similar as a side dish at lunchtime or as raw food in the morning. We liked everything rather medium.

We celebrated our wedding there in May of this year and I look back on it so fondly! Everything was wonderful, from the food to the service, just a dream! We didn't have to worry about anything that day and could just enjoy the celebration! I would do it again and again, an incredibly beautiful location where we received top advice right from the start and felt incredibly comfortable! The lights in the evening give a very unique atmosphere and so does the beach! The service staff are all super attentive and friendly, thank you for allowing us to celebrate such an incredibly beautiful day there!

Went there today for Advent brunch with the family, delicious as always and great value for money. Hopefully it will happen again next year and we'll be happy to be there again. But you can eat well there all year round.

The Dutenhofen is beautifully located, very good food, although it's not exactly cheap. We were there on a company outing and enjoyed it.

The beer garden is located directly on the lake and on the Lahn cycle path. Enjoy your meal. Fair prices. Great location. It's also very beautiful inside, which is why the anchor is a popular excursion destination all year round. Reservations are recommended, especially for inside. Service is often quite stressful, sometimes seems annoyed, curt and it can sometimes take a long time. Understandable, but still a shame.

Such an unfriendly shop! We've just been to Oktoberfest for the first (and last) time and were kicked out by security at exactly 1 a.m. (at the end of the event)! Here you start by making a lot of money and selling food and drinks for a lot of money - and then these "security forces" even get violent and you can't even finish your drink - you are simply thrown out! That's what you do here with hundreds of guests! A no-go! Apparently earned money - and bye! Dirt…

My son's school trip. I just picked him up there myself. But from the outside, the restaurant makes a serious impression. In any case, there is enough space here to camp and pedal boats on the lake. A beautiful destination for leisure activities and a refreshment in the restaurant is certainly worth a trip to Dutenhofen for leisure activities.

My husband took me out to dinner and it was really, really good. The service was friendly and even had a joke 👍 the atmosphere was really clean and there was plenty of space. The food... I'm still dreaming about it, I ordered a schnitzel with champion sauce and it arrived at our table quite quickly after ordering. It was very tasty and the portion was more than enough 👍 the fries were not frozen, they were homemade and were very tasty 😋 We will definitely eat there again.

Very nicely located restaurant, very nice ambience, very attentive and friendly service. Drinks came promptly, the food was on the table quickly. And everything we had was tasty and sufficient. Price-performance ratio definitely fits.

We ordered the vegan curry and a pizza Toscana. Unfortunately the curry only came 10 minutes after the pizza, which I don't think was nice at all. If you go out to eat as a couple, it should be possible for both guests to receive their dishes almost at the same time, even when the occupancy is high, and not have to eat them one after the other. The vegetarian curry was very tasty. The pizza was soft in the middle even though the base wasn't thin, and the taste of the ham wasn't convincing. I find the anchor skewer at €24.50 significantly overpriced given the performance it offers. The staff was a bit overwhelmed by the high number of visitors, but they were friendly. The fact that only one person picks up and collects the food is a bit inconvenient given the large number of seats.

We were invited there for brunch. A special pavilion was reserved for this celebration. The service was very good despite the normal food service and the lake being open. The same applies to brunch itself. Since vegans were also present at this celebration, attention was paid to their special dietary needs. The offer was very good. We will definitely visit a restaurant sometime.

Portions are generous and relatively tasty. Service is appropriate to the high number of visitors: fast, yet friendly. Prices are at the usual level for snack bars at the lake/in the outdoor pool.

The self-service area has improved significantly. Very good pizza, great fries and an exceptional salad. So it's bearable even if the restaurant itself is closed, which of course has even more selection and delicacies.

We had our company outing there - a very successful, relaxed atmosphere

Unfortunately disappointed, we were there on a Thursday evening in June around 9:15 p.m. and wanted something to eat after ordering the drinks! We were told that the kitchen was only open until 9 p.m. and that we could only order one pizza. It's a shame because Google says it's open until 11 p.m. After a corresponding complaint, payment for the drinks was waived.

Unfortunately the food is very ambivalent. Sometimes you get something completely different even though you ordered the same thing the day before. Some things taste really good. The salads are a bit over the top in terms of price/performance. The outside area is beautiful. Unfortunately the chairs are rather uncomfortable.

Celebrated my birthday with 12 adults and 7 children, everything was perfect.

I can really recommend eating here, the pizzas are delicious & the cheese plate is awesome. The service is friendly, nice and accommodating, every suggestion is taken into account. The view of the lake makes every meal a dream, you almost feel like you're on vacation 🔆 After eating, relax a little, then lie down on the beach or go swimming, what more could you want, you can also go for a nice walk here, which is always excellent after a good meal.

There should also be sockets for charging e-bikes!

Very nicely located. Unfortunately, Canadian geese defecate all over the lawns. Otherwise very well maintained. Ideal for higher demands. e.g. Birthdays. Tables outside including bar tables with white covers. Excellent. You can rent a party raft. Grill on board. Bring barbecue food. Pedal boat for 2-3 people on the boat for onshore trips to the toilet. worked great. There is always someone who wants to ride a pedal boat. If you would like to go from the raft rather than the 3-4 hours booked, the staff will also pick you up in a motorized inflatable boat. Excellent.

Food was better before. Certainly popular with party/Kölschennacht and Oktoberfest goers. What was positive was that the staff was very attentive and on the ball.

The anchor is always worth a trip. The food is of decent quality. The service is friendly and professional and the waiting times are manageable even when the restaurant and beer garden are full. We're looking forward to next time!

We stayed at the campsite for one night on the way back in March. Luckily it was Thursday and in addition to the normal dishes, the restaurant served “ribs all you can eat”. Tasty but the burger was also great. Super nice, attentive staff.

Super competent and friendly service manager who, despite a big Austrian evening, was able to quickly organize a table for an hour and we quickly got something tasty on the way through! Great this time!
