We ordered grilled kibbeh, charcoal grilled chicken, chicken shawarma, and meat shawarma I can't expect anything better than this restaurant in all of Germany. Honestly, the food is very, very, very terrible The grilled kibbeh is very tasty and made to order There is nothing wrong with the grilled chicken, and the sauce that comes with it is more than wonderful The chicken and meat shawarma are also awesome, and the first restaurant I see that comes with the meat shawarma is tahini and yogurt sauce that I come with other than the bread that they make, which is awesome. Highly recommended

I don't usually give reviews to restaurants, but honestly, it's well deserved Since the first time it came to Germany, Arab ice cream has never been anywhere near it and I liked theirs. Orders are prepared as quickly as possible, the food is very good, and the place is comfortable I got a mandi and a shawarma sandwich as in the pictures.. Instead of the sauce, I asked for a yoghurt salad with cucumber, and they were very tasty. The best thing is that it is in a prayer room, and this is something I missed in most Arab restaurants. An experience worth recommending and repeating if God wants me to come to Mannheim again 😀

A great selection of appetizers and many options for vegetarians. The owner of the restaurant is a very sophisticated person and is always present in the hall to supervise everything himself. The service is helpful and friendly and always ready for anything you ask. In a room on the first floor designated for prayer. Cleanliness is something special for them in all aspects: the hall, the tables, even the kitchen and bathrooms. May God bless them, and I hope that the level remains excellent and for the better

I was supposed to order an Iraqi kebab but the taste had nothing to do with it, it was pure fat backed by bitter onions and burnt tomatoes. The bread was very cold and you have no right to change the rice unless you ask for extra. The smell of onions is strangely musty. I didn't expect that I would eat so badly.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dunya Syrian Restaurant is located in the city center of Mannheim, very close to the Marktplatz where parking is conveniently available. The food here is really good with huge portions that will leave you satisfied. Service is fast and professional, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Although the prices are a bit higher than average. The seating is comfortable, and I appreciate that the kitchen is well-isolated, so you don’t leave with food smells on your clothes, unlike many other Turkish, Asian, and Syrian restaurants in Mannheim . The air conditioning makes it a comfortable spot year-round, whether in the heat of summer or the chill of winter. Highly recommended!

I was there on Saturday and unfortunately I have to share a very disappointing experience. When I visited the restaurant I was looking forward to a pleasant meal, but the opposite was the case. My parsley salad at Dunya Kebab Plate came with an unappetizing extra: a cigarette butt. This is not only unhygienic, but also completely unacceptable. The service wasn't any better either. After I reported the problem, the staff seemed unconcerned and did not offer an adequate solution. I expect a clean and safe meal every time I go to a restaurant, which was definitely not the case here. I certainly won't be back and strongly advise against visiting this restaurant until they improve their hygiene and customer service.

You pay but don't get enough of the food. Saturdays are chaos. For all things you have to wait, wait and wait. I was hungry before ordering, but after eating I was hungry. What do you pay money for there? Never again! Mix Grill is a disaster.

I really liked this restaurant, but it has now changed. When we were there and wanted to order Iraqi kebab, the waiter said they don't offer that, even though it was on the menu. He then added that they don't offer this on Saturdays. Funnily enough, we were there during the week and got to listen to the same thing...If they don't offer it, why is it still on the menu???? The waiter was annoyed and you didn't feel welcome.

The experience was overall bearable. Criticisms: The atmosphere in the restaurant was not nice and calm, but rather stressed. There were a lot of waiters who degraded the feeling of well-being. The restaurant was full of smoke and had no ventilation and was disorganized. The restaurant manager was very unfriendly. Toilet wasn't clean. As for the food: I've been there twice and both times the meat was almost raw. The drinks are expensive compared to the price. 8€ for a glass of juice from a bottle?! The shawarma bread was bitter. The food is disproportionate to the price. For a main course that costs €32, I expect a little more. Overall the restaurant is very expensive compared to the quality and quantity. Salad was good. 👍🏻 It is only recommended for people who are not interested in the quality of the food, but only in nicely presented plates.

We visited the Dunya restaurant with high expectations due to the consistently positive reviews. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. We had a starter platter with 6 different dips, the taste was okay but that was it. The main dishes ordered on the recommendation of the waiter with half a chicken and rice noodle combination, salad and a soup or something similar were poor in taste. The chicken was completely dry, you could hardly swallow it. It didn't taste particularly good either, any chicken from the grill snack is better, the soup didn't taste like anything and the salad and the rice noodle combo tasted a bit like spices, but overall it was just disappointing and a 0 in terms of taste. For this price of over €20 for that Dish totally overpriced. Even so, I don't understand the positive reviews, but as we all know, tastes differ.

I would be happy to go there again for a delicious meal. We were in a group and felt comfortable.

I ordered maqluba which was delicious but expected to have more meat for 25 Euros. It is just fried eggplant and rice with salad and cacik. It is definitely overpriced. Normally for that portion it should be less than 18, I would say. There is no alcohol on the menu. This is another point.
