The location at Ganush is really unique. The atmosphere with the red curtains is very special - I think it has New York vibes. The patio area is also great in summer. The quality of the food is very good. The salmon with the whole grain rice was particularly delicious. Highly recommended - also for a good cocktail at the bar.

Very good restaurant. The service was excellent; they knew everything about the wines and a lot about the wine-growing region in Lebanon. The food was delicious. Levantine cuisine? Absolutely not!! There's fish and meat with vegetables - there's no sign of the advertised Levantine cuisine here! The service is abysmal; we were given the wrong water and politely asked for the one we ordered. The waiter was visibly irritated and very condescending when he brought us the water we had ordered. We had to ask for the wine list three times. The curtain in front of the kitchen is always open, allowing a view into the kitchen. The very bright light gives the room a very bad atmosphere; you feel like you're in a train station concourse. Unfortunately, the food tastes only average and the price-performance ratio is completely out of proportion. All in all, our visit there was unique.

Unfortunately, you won't receive such a radiantly friendly welcome everywhere if you enter a restaurant without a reservation. We ate our way through the incredibly delicious starters once (every tip was right and made the whole thing a well-rounded, highly aromatic experience, thank you!), were repeatedly served bread without being asked, received a first-class wine recommendation, ended our meal with two fantastically good desserts, were full and completely happy.

For the first time I dined in this beautiful establishment. Not only was it delicious but the service was also great all around. One star less for ambience, as the musical background of the evening could be a little more present.

In summary, we can say that Ganoush would like to play in the first league, but unfortunately it can't. Price and performance do not match here and the service unfortunately left a lot to be desired - inattentive and clumsy, simply not appropriately professional for a very high-priced restaurant. The fact that the glasses had dishwasher stains and the seating was so tight that you could follow the conversations at the next table 1:1 (whether you wanted to or not) didn't really add to the ambience. The food was good overall, it was a shame that we had to add more seasoning and the food quickly got cold, also because the stone tables without tablecloths sucked all the heat out of the plates. That's clumsy. The price is very high, but unfortunately the quality is not.

Located in the shadow of the Reichs-Engelhorn Museums, the standards of the cuisine are very high. The influences of Levantine cuisine are very well presented and the taste is a great experience.

The first appearance suggested a lot: the location is central and pleasantly nestled in the city center near the castle. Inside there is an almost empty restaurant with partly outdated furniture. And then the food: certainly very nicely presented and nice to look at, but the extremely high price (in every category) is not justified. Food of similar quality costs a maximum of half as much in other restaurants (even in Mannheim's city center). The same applies to the overpriced drinks. The fact that the toilets (mostly clean) are already past their best and in the end the card payment doesn't work thanks to the EC device rounds off the disappointing experience.

Sunday brunch The food was very tasty and sufficient. - The waiters were very attentive and friendly. Fresh bread was added immediately as soon as the old one was ready. Great restaurant, in a quiet and central location in Mannheim. The terrace is cozy and airy. There are many different international dishes on the menu, all of which you would like to try. We decided on a large appetizer platter and it was absolutely top. Everything was very fresh and lovingly prepared. The service was polite, courteous and very quick. We had a starter platter for four and were quite disappointed when it was brought to the table in relation to the price. None of the interesting, slightly more expensive starters could be found on the plate. It was just various dips, beans and bread. In terms of taste, these were ok. But the final kick was missing. Afterwards we ordered something from the menu, but one dish was still frozen in the middle and had to be made again. But I can only speak about the starters as we hadn't ordered the main courses at that moment. The waiter was very nice. It wasn't full, but it took a long time to eat. In some cases there was no food at all. In this situation we wouldn't go there again.

We had the starter platter for 2 people and the salmon fillet and both were very tasty and the vegetables went well with the fish. “Ganush” is now one of our favorite restaurants! What's more, according to other reviews, you don't even get full. Given the prices, I expect the portions to be generous. so not recommended!

It's very nice and quiet to sit here. You eat oriental delicacies. The starters are almost all vegetarian or vegan, and so far there are only three vegetarian main courses. In a few weeks there will be vegetarian main courses on the new menu. The staff is attentive and nice.

Went to GANUSH for the first time on Tuesday, June 18th. Great location, a very warm welcome and throughout the evening a really great and absolutely warm service that you rarely experience anymore - Sertac, thank you very much -!!! Food was super delicious - hummus could have used more spice - everything else was absolutely delicious, wine & cocktail were great!!! Great explanations of the respective food! Our conclusion: it's definitely worth it, portions could be a little larger, quality is definitely on offer - therefore a bit expensive, but also the prices for extra side dishes! You should also bring time, but: all in all a wonderful evening in a TOTALLY relaxed atmosphere; We had the feeling that we were spending a real holiday evening without any sense of time! It was the first but not the last time for us!!!! Thank you also to the staff behind the scenes!!!

Mr Berk and Ms Ezgi was very friendly tonight. Also the tips about wine and lamb meat was to do point. We have tested the restaurant first time and our impression was quite positive. This is the best Turkish 🇹🇷 cuisine in Germany around. The lamp (incik) was soft and juicy. Ayva tatlısı as a desert was the best finish. On 09 June 2024, we had the 2nd visit and happy to see same quality. Very refreshing atmosfer at teras, and the quality was still there. The owner Cenk Bey told us they get the lamb 🐑 from New Zeland and that is one of the factor creating the difference. Little touch make the nuances. Like in all orientalist and south cuisine

I ate at Ganush for the first time in Mannheim last week and found the food and service a 10/10. The location itself was also fabulous, but I found the music to be too quiet, so that you almost had to whisper while talking. But all in all very, very nice, definitely recommended

The roulade was tough, but expensive. The service was overwhelmed and glasses were also missing. Overall, the high price did not correspond to the performance.

We were there with a larger group. There were long waiting times for both food and drinks, which was understandable since there were only 1 1/2 wait staff for the large group. The food was very tasty but unfortunately the portion was a bit too small for me personally. I would eat there again, but not with a larger group, but with a few companions. Despite the stress, the service staff remained friendly the whole time and did their best!

We were there for lunch with grandparents and a toddler, it was a nice visit for everyone. The atmosphere on the terrace was great, the service was very attentive and friendly. We really enjoyed the food and it was offered at a reasonable price. I would have been happy with a regional beer on tap, but that doesn't diminish my opinion of the food. Is recommended, also because of the special location in the courtyard of the armory.

Das Essen ist in Ordnung, ohne jedoch einen bleibenden Eindruck zu hinterlassen. Alle Gerichte waren, für meinen Geschmack, sehr schwach gewürzt. Auch die Atmosphäre überzeugt nicht ganz. Allerdings muß man sagen, für den Personalmangel in der heutigen Zeit, hat alles sehr gut funktioniert. Leider bleibt es bei dem einen Besuch.

To call the location in the Delta the best restaurant in the metropolitan region would not do it justice. The Ganush is the house in Mannheim with the most sex appeal! It's always a pleasure to come through the front door and feel like you're in another world. The restaurant is luxurious and TOP furnished, the bar is at a world class level (be sure to seek advice from the bar manager) and the service staff lives the spirit of this hotel with their skin and hair! Always friendly, courteous and helpful. Don't miss the business lunch in summer! Here you will find probably the best and richest offer you can imagine! The Ganush is also recommended for all travelers who do not carry a walking stick. If you value traditional houses more, you might also be happy here. I can only say: I love it!

Mein Frau und ich hatten am Valentinstag ein 3-Gängemenü für 69€ über OpenTable gebucht. Es musste zwingend während der Buchungsvorgangs Vorkasse bezahlt werden und war nicht stornierbar. Aufgrund sehr guter Erfahrungen von meinem ersten Besuch des Restaurants im November habe ich das akzeptiert. Der Innen und Außenbereich ist ansprechend und edel gestaltet. Erwartungshaltung: Da sämtliche Gäste nur dieses 3-Gängemenü zur Auswahl hatten (Vor- und Nachspeise waren einheitlich, für den Hauptgang standen 3 Gerichte zur Auswahl), haben wir für diesen Preis ein qualitativ hochwertiges Menü und einen reibungslosen Service erwartet. Qualität und Bepreisung der Speisen Vorspeise: Dreierlei Mezze Kreation mit gefülltem Weinblatt (Reis,Zimt,Korinthen) und Garnele Die Dreierlei Mezze Kreation mit gefülltem Weinblatt war sehr gut zubereitet und lecker. Die Garnele hatte Miniaturformat. Das dazu servierte Fladenbrot war weich und macht keinen sehr frischen Eindruck. Die Vorspeise entsprach maximal der Hälfte von der Vorspeisenkreation auf der normalen Speisekarte und hat damit umgerechnet einen Wert von 7-8€ pro Person. Hauptspeise: Sowohl das Fisch- als auch das Fleischgericht waren fad (kaum gewürzt), das Beef Wellington-Medaillon war zäh und keine 100g schwer, die kleinen Karotten hatten teilweise braune Flecken auf der Schale. Vergleichbare Gerichte auf der Speisekarte kosten 25-30 Euro. Nachspeise: Herzkuchen gefüllt mit Himbeer-Vanille-Mousse, Himbeersauce, Schoko-Crumble, Mascarponecreme War total tiefgefroren, entsprach nur teilweise der Beschreibung, einfach nur billig! Max. vertretbarer Preis 8€ Kein Gruß aus der Küche! Somit beträgt der realistische Wert der 3-Gängemenüs im Vergleich zur Speisekarte des Restaurants 40-45€, die schlechte Zubereitung dabei jedoch außer acht gelassen. Anmerkung: Preise für Getränke waren durchschnittlich 20% teurer als auf der Speisekarte im Internet und im November 2023. Bewertung Service: Wir mussten den Kellner drei Mal darauf aufmerksam machen, dass unser Tisch kippelte. Die ersten beiden Male hatte er es vergessen. Die Gabel für das Dessert war dreckig und am Rand des Wasserglases alte eingetrocknete Speisereste. Das Dessert wurde vergessen. Da wir keine Eile hatten, haben erst nach knapp einer Stunde reklamiert. Darauf antwortete der Kellner: "Oh, wurden Sie vergessen.". Sämtliche Kellner waren unaufmerksam. Wir wurde nicht einmal darauf angesprochen, ob wir noch weitere Getränke möchten. Auch wurde nicht danach gefragt, ob wir einen Kaffee oder Espresso zum Dessert wünschen. Das Besteck für das Dessert war einfachstes Kantinenblechbesteck. Zum Abschluss haben wir die mangelhafte Qualität der Speisen und des Services direkt beim Kellner reklamiert. Antwort: "Dafür kann ich nichts. Ich bin nur ein einfacher Angestellter und nicht für die Reklamation zuständig. Außerdem sind Sie die Einzigen, die sich heute über das Essen beschwert haben." Als Reaktion auf diese Aussage gab es am Nebentisch lautes Gelächter, da sich dieses Paar ein paar Minuten zuvor über das Essen beschwert hatte und es als zum Teil ungenießbar bezeichnet hat. An anderen Tischen sind Gäste aufgestanden und haben das Dessert stehengelassen. Andere haben das Dessert zurückgehen lassen. Leider eine riesige Enttäuschung!

Die Räumlichkeiten sind toll, das Personal sehr aufmerksam und nett und das Essen einfach lecker. Wir haben mehrere Vorspeisen geteilt und zur Hauptspeise das Lamm gegessen. Alles sehr empfehlenswert! Außerdem eine sehr gute Weinauswahl, ob offene Weine oder als Flasche.

A very classy restaurant where you would rather go for a special event. The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. You need to reserve in advance otherwise you most probably won‘t get a table especially on weekends. The food and service are great. Price is higher than average but suits the quality and general atmosphere. We had some appetizers and cooked lamb served on eggplants, which was extraordinary tasty.

Das Team ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Trotz des gehobenen Standards wirkt es nicht versnobt, im Gegenteil. Das Essen ist sehr gut, aber mit sehr großem Hunger sollte man nicht hingehen. Der innen und Außenbereich ist sehr schön gestaltet und wirkt edel. Für einen besonderen Anlass sehr zu empfehlen. Mittel bis Hochpreisig. War ein schöner Abend.

Na ja, Service überfordert. Kann sich nicht merken wer was bestellt hat. Essen kam unterschiedlich an. Preise für die Vorspeisen von 44 auf 52€ erhöht. Auswahl überschaubar. Da gibt es besseres in Mannheim

Wir hatten auf gutes Essen und aufmerksamen Service gehofft. Die Preise sind ja im gehobenen Bereich. Aber zähes Rindfleisch, lieblos angerichtete Speisen, Wartezeit von mehr als einer Stunde auf den Hauptgang, Anzünden der Tischkerze erst nach Aufforderung, versprochener Schnaps kam gar nicht - das war die Realität! Machen wir nicht mehr.

Ohne Empfehlung einen Besuch mit Freunden aus USA an einem Samstag Abend. Vorspeisen und Hauptspeisen für 5 Personen waren richtig gut. Dazu kommen noch die sehr freundlichen Mitarbeiter des Service.

Wir waren heute im ehemaligen C-Five Restaurant Mannheim Essen. Wir haben als Vorspeise einen kalten Mezzeteller erhalten. Ala warme Vorspeisenteller gab es Icli Köfte, Sigarabörek und Fallafel mit gegrillten Peperonis dekoriert. Als Hauptgang hatten wir Rinderfilet auf Busch Buschbohnen mit kleinen Kartoffeln aus dem Ofen. Alles sehr leckere

Ich hatte einen schönen Abend, mit gutem Essen. Für größere Gesellschaften gut geeignet.

Sehr schönes Ambiente und nettes Personal. Das Essen ist qualitativ hervorragend und die Preise angemessen.

Köstliche, hervorragend abgeschmeckte Speisen des östlichen Mittelmeerraums und eine gute lokale Weinauswahl hauptsächlich aus der Pfalz. Sowohl die gemischten kalten Vorspeisen (Mezze) für 2 Personen als auch die beiden Hauptgerichte (Ossobuco mit Granatapfelkernen und Graupen Risotto, Lammkoteletts mit Fenchel und Graupen Risotto) waren sehr gut zubereitet, in schönem Ambiente genossen und von freundlichem Personal serviert. Durchaus eine Empfehlung. Für 5* hätte das Personal noch etwas Aufmerksamkeit aufbringen können: Frage nach weiteren Getränken oder Dessert, Brot zeitgleich zur Vorspeise, Beilagen genauso heiß wie das Hauptgericht. Sehr toll war hingegen, dass wir das zweite Hauptgericht zum günstigeren Preis der eigentlich bestellten Speise bekamen, die aber ausverkauft war, wie wir etwas später aus der Küche informiert wurden - sehr aufmerksam! Aber da wir unbedingt mal diese Vorspeisen bei tollem Wein auf der großzügigen Terrasse hinter dem Zeughaus genießen wollen, kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir sind durch Zufall mit dem Chef am Nachmittag ins Gespräch gekommen und haben dann für Abends einen Tisch bestellt. Super Service nettes Ambiente - ich fand die Musik nicht so super.. Essen war hervorragend. Wir hatten Mezze für 2 und ich hatte OssoBuco (megazart). Einzig das gereichte Brot (Baguette) war irgendwie ein Stilbruch .. es gab noch Nachtisch und Schnaps zum Schluss! Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen! Wir kommen wieder!

Super schönes Lokal mit einer sehr schönen Ambiente. Incik als Hauptspeise war extrem lecker. Wenn man Türkisch/Levantisch auf einem etwas gehobenen Niveau in einer sehr schönen Umgebung essen möchte, ist man richtig hier. Nur die gemischte Mezeteller hätten etwas größer sein können. Sonst war alles wirklich gut!

Wir hatten hier nach unserem Museumsbesuch ein wunderbares Mittagessen auf der Terrasse. Ganz ruhig und im Grünen. Das Essen war sehr lecker, der Service ausgesprochen nett und zuvorkommend. Als Vorspeise hatten wir gemischte Vorspeisen, dann Lachs mit Risotto, dazu einen Beilagensalat...köstlich! Gute, frische Qualität, faires Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Da kommt man gerne wieder.

Mitten in der Innenstadt eine Oase der Ruhe und des Genusses. Das Essen war sehr lecker und auch der Nachtisch, Quitte mit Kirschkompott, war ein Genuss.

I celebrated my birthday here. It was the best decision 🤩 The Restaurant interior is so elegant and beautiful. ✨ The Food is AMAZING— a bit pricey but it is worthy. 😋 The staff are friendly and attentive. I will definitely be recommending this.

Heute abend war nach einen anstrengenden Woche die Luft lau und so nahmen wir uns vor bei Ganush in Mannheim zu Abend zu essen. Das Reservieren online klappte vorzüglich. Wir bestellten einen unserer Lieblingsweine: Sauvignon blanc von Knipser, Laumersheim (5 Sterne), Wasser und einen bund gemischten Vorspeisentisch: Humus Avocado (sehr lecker 5 Sterne), Fava (schmeckt nach allem außer Fave-Bohnen, das Ausgangsprodukt sollte man irgendwie identifizieren können: 2 Sterne), Haydari ( geschmacklich dünn, mit Gelatine unnatürlich angedickt: 2 Sterne), Falafel Aleppo (geschmacklich gut, Portion klein, beiliegender Salat naja: 3-4 Sterne), Pacanka (geschmacklich grob, sehr ölig, beiligender Salat naja: 3 Sterne). Zu den Vorspeisen wurde kein Brot gereicht. Es mußte einmal nachgefragt werden, um in den Genuß von Brot zu kommen. Meine Frau und ich waren offengestanden enttäuscht. Wir sind dann ohne hauptspeise zu einem klassischen türkischen Desert weiter an den Marktplatz gezogen. Mein Vorschlag an den Wirt: Man kann auch orientalisch/ libanesisch/ naher Osten - Küche raffiniert, lecker und äußerst appetitlich machen, Vorspeisen mit frisch gebackener Pide anbieten und z.B. die warmen Vorspeisen etwas reichhaltiger gestalten und dem ganzen etwas großzügiges geben und dafür im Gegenzug einige Euro mehr nehmen- ich bin sicher, die Kundschaft wird es goutieren.

Etwas versteckt hinter dem rem-Zeughaus in Mannheim befindet sich das erst im Frühjahr 2023 eröffnete Restaurant. Es ist spezialisiert auf Gerichte aus der levantinischen Küche, also aus dem östlichen Mittelmeerraum. Wir aßen Mezze für zwei Personen (24,00 Euro) und bekamen insgesamt 6 verschieden gefüllte ovale Schälchen u.a. mit Humus, Cacic, Muhamara, Havuc tarator. Dazu wurden geröstete Weißbrotscheiben gereicht. Alles war sehr lecker und die Portionen haben uns angenehm gesättigt. Der Service ist freundlich, die Preise - auch für die Getränke - zivil.
