DuDu in München

The most flavorful pho broth I’ve had in Munich yet. I kind of don’t want to tell anyone about it so I can have it all to myself, but they deserve better 😋

Great service and really delicious food

Tasty, clean and cozy! The staff is super nice, professional and very friendly. The waiters are always there to help you choose the dishes. Guests are served quickly and efficiently. I'm a big fan of Asian dishes with duck in coconut milk sauce - just the right place! Would only recommend!

Impeccable authentic Vietnamese cuisine with very friendly service.... The chicken skewers as a starter were delicious and the king prawns in spicy curry coconut sauce were fantastic, which goes well with the delicious Saigon Beer. On Saturdays almost everything was reserved and we were lucky to get a nice table.

Pho and summer rolls are first class!

I ordered here for the first time via Wolt, the food was there within the specified 25 minutes - very commendable! Everything was warm, everything was delicious and absolutely recommended.

Reasonable prices, good food and courteous service! The music wasn't too loud and you could have a conversation, plus there was no pop music playing. If you like Vietnamese food, this is the place for you!

Erg lekker eten en vriendelijke personeel. Wij kwamen hier voor een korte lunch en zijn niet teleurgesteld, ook de huisgemaakte limonade is een echte aanrader.

Were there for lunch. Gyoza and spring rolls were delicious. The Pho, on the other hand, was unfortunately very boring in terms of taste and the portion wasn't particularly large. Other dishes are probably more recommended.

We love this place. It is the perfect combination of relaxed friendly service, tasty food and nice atmosphere. We come regularly for all of the above.

No, sorry, but that was nothing. The quantity was plentiful, the appearance was initially good, but the taste was unfortunately in the “Asia Imbiss” category. Even the “special plum sauce” couldn’t help. The "crunchy vegetables" were quite poor, but it was a bland and tasteless raw vegetable salad made from German vegetables, although the underside of the iceberg was already slightly brown. We don't even need to talk about authentic cuisine here.

Only stopped for drinks, not that impressed with the service or Location.

Looking for a late stop, we were very positively surprised. Many restaurants have already closed their kitchens. We were even more pleased with our delicious soup. Well strengthened we could continue.

The staff is friendly and helpful The beef spring roll was almost meatless I could barely feel the taste of meat. The bathroom could use some improvements.

Unfortunately the portions are getting smaller and smaller! It's getting pretty bold that with a 17€ portion the plate isn't even full. Inflation is being shamelessly exploited here. It's a shame, the food is otherwise very tasty.

What a very pleasant little place. Came for lunch on Monday. Had a nice bowl of pho with plenty of noodles. Service was quick and friendly. Outside and inside seating.

I came to Dudu on a recommendation but wouldn't recommend it myself. My food was no better than a standard delivery service. Pretty tasteless. What also irritated me and my friend is that the lady who took our order advised us against our dish every time we chose food, so we chose something else, which she then reacted to in a strange way. This means that as a customer you don't feel safe with your choice. Unfortunately, this was also confirmed in my case. It wasn't a good choice. A pity.

A bit of a hidden gem in Sendling with very tasty food and good Augustiner. The selection is very extensive and there is a lunch menu at a really good price. The friendly service is very friendly and offers lots of food recommendations. So we'd love to come back.

I was there 5 years ago and after I had to go back to Munich on a business trip, I absolutely had to go to Dudu because it is incredibly authentic Vietnamese. Tastes exactly like grandma’s at home 🥰

We were thrilled! Late at night we got delicious Pho, Goi Cuon and Vit Dau Phong. Very authentic cuisine and highly recommended.

A really very authentic and delicious restaurant. The food was fantastic and the service was super friendly. I immediately felt like I was in Southeast Asia again. 😍 I immediately recommended the restaurant. I'll be back! 😊 There is only a deduction for the toilets, which were a bit dirty.

A lovingly run viatnemidches restaurant that is very pleasant outside of peak times due to the noise. With very good food quality. I ate M1 and chicken skewers with peanut sauce from the lunch menu. A really wonderful stay.

Amazing Vietnamese good at Dudu. Some of the best I’ve ever had. Came here after being at the Pink Xmas Market just opposite, had a very nice pot of ginger tea that helped us warm up from the sun zero temperatures outside. We started with the gyozas and the coconut soup. Must have! And shared a main of duck and noodles. The service was the best, very accommodating, polite and kind. Food came very quickly and it was fresh and extremely tasty. Highly recommend !

Es geht immer schnell und die Speisen sind sehr fein!

Leckere vietnamesische Küche, preiswert. Das Restaurant ist offensichtlich sehr beliebt, als wir da waren war es bis auf den letzten Platz belegt. Reservieren wohl notwendig.

Das Essen war sensationell und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Sie empfahl mir das „Bun Chay Xao“ Sojafleisch mit Nudeln. Ein so leckeres Sojafleisch hatte ich noch nie! Ein „Must“ für alle Vegetarier. Aber auch der Rest der Speisen war sehr gut.

A good stop for your Vietnamese fix. Food is solid. Fresh and steaming hot when it arrive at your table. Service is good, too.

Essen von der Qualität her ok, Koriander wird nicht gewaschen, Preise sehr günstig für die Lage.

Der Best of Pho Bo Test in München geht weiter und führt mich an einen gerühmten Top Spot für Pho Bo die mit 12 Stunden Kochzeit beworben wird. Ich bestelle neben der Pho auch die hausgemachten Frühlingsrollen. Die Frühlingsrollen sind frisch gemacht und sehr lecker, die Nuoc Cham Soße ebenfalls. Die Pho in der „großen“ Schale kommt recht klein daher und hat mehr Nudeln als Brühe, die Kräuter separat. Geschmacklich sind die Nudeln gut und auf den Punkt, das Rindfleisch zart. Die Brühe allerdings sehr enttäuschend ob der angeblich langen Kochzeit, fast ungewürzt und allenfalls unterdurchschnittlich. Für mich im Pho-Test durchgefallen und daher nicht zu empfehlen.

Vastly superior than other restaurants

Das Essen war gut. Die als "scharf" gekennzeichneten Gerichte empfanden wir als angenehm gut gewürzt. Die Frühlingsrollen waren ok, aber sicher nicht die besten in München. Wenn man draußen sitzt sollte man einigermaßen Lärm resistent sein.

Leider sind die preise enorm gestiegen im Vergleich zu den anderen guten Restaurants. Ich kenne ja dieses Lokal schon seit Jahren.

Mein Lieblings-Vietnamesisches Restaurant in der Umgebung. Die Qualität des Essens ist hervorragend. Und das Personal erlebe ich immer als sehr freundlich.

Siamo stati in due occasioni in questo piccolo ristorante, a pranzo e per un rapido aperitivo, il cibo era molto buono e anche i drink analcolici al kumquat sono stati una piacevole sorpresa. La cameriera è stata molto gentile e disponibile e quando siamo tornati la seconda volta ci ha riconosciuti subito. Ci siamo trovati bene su tutti i fronti.

Sehr spartanisch eingerichtet . Aber dafür mega leckeres , sehr authentisches Essen.....alles gut ! Und !!!! Augustiner ! Preise sind auch total ok !

Als Gast in München war ich nun schon ein zweites Mal hier essen und werde das gern immer wieder tun. Das Restaurant ist klein aber fein. Wenn man sicher sein will, tut es gut vorab zu reservieren. Die angebotenen Speisen sind abwechslungsreich und in jeder Kategorie reich an Auswahl. Alles lecker und appetitlich zubereitet. Die Preise angemessen und der Service absolut zuvorkommend und freundlich. Man kann auch nach dem Essen gut sitzen lieben bei einem Wein oder einfach einem Digistife.

Nice food.. humble helpers leads to happy faces. Only the drinks were not upto the mark. But the food was great. I was happy to see vegetarian options on the menu.

Super leckeres Essen! Zu Anfangs hatten wir die Vegetarischen Spieße mit Erdnusssauce, die schon sehr lecker waren und als Hauptgang die Empfehlung „Ente mit Pflaumensauce“ (die echt sehr lecker ist!) und krosse Ente! Super nettes Personal und angenehm kleines Restaurant! Wir kommen wieder! Preis für zwei Personen total in Ordnung.

Waren zum Mittagessen hier. Schön das man auf dem Trottoir speisen kann. Hatten 2 mal Ente mit Gemüse bestellt. Mittagsportion ! Aber mir hat die Schärfe des Asiatischen gefehlt. Geschmack sonst ok.

Service war nicht ganz nett und freundlich. Essen war essbar, aber es kam nicht warm genug, hat sich bisschen gefühlt das es aus Mikrowelle gekämmt hat und ich fühlte mich ziemlich schlecht nach dem Essen. Location ist okay und déco für draußen sitzen ist nett, aber Sauberkeit ist ziemlich schlecht.

Super leckeres Essen, sehr authentisch mit vielen Kräutern. Sie haben sich viele vegane Gerichte, teils mit Tofu, teils mit leckerem fake meat. Im Sommer kann man schön draussen sitzen.

A friend recommended this restaurant, said it was a nice family-run business, prices lower than average and always very popular. We booked probably the last table left for the evening and were told we had to leave by 8.30pm, which was fine. Yes, it’s a friendly family-run business, prices lower than the Munich average and is very popular. Tables were really squeezed into the very small space. I ordered a Bun Chay, a vegetarian vermicelli/vegetable salad from the Chef’s recommendations section. Totally disappointed. This is one of my favorite dishes but of all I’ve ever eaten in Munich, this just didn’t impress. The accompanying sauce was salty too. Good thing I didn’t pour it all in. The thing is, if you’ve never had the real thing, it’s very hard to judge. I am sure there are other dishes which are good otherwise the crowd wouldn’t be coming back. I avoided ordering the pho after all the disappointing comments here. Well, you can add another dish to your “better-not-order” list. Go for the stir-fried wok dishes with rice and the spring rolls.

Amidst all the German food we needed something different. Dudu was near our hotel and open early. We got lucky! Very nice ambiance, decent wine and lovely food,. There was none left. This tiny restaurant filled up right away so it's not a secret. Good service and reasonable prices.

Managed to nab a great seat outside (though your neighbours are very close). Starters were very good - particularly the fresh chicken rolls. The mains, however, disappointed (sweet n sour chicken and a duck special). Wine good and priced lower than the city average.

I was put off about coming here from the reviews I had seen. However pleasantly surprised. Summer rolls were fresh and tasted delicious. Tofu bun sai gon was again really fresh. Pot luck last dish, still not sure what it was. Decent sizes, fresh and seemed to cope with busy a Sunday service.
