A small, hidden restaurant that is really impressive in terms of food. Our dishes came quickly and tasted excellent. Definitely recommended.

From the outside, the restaurant is quite inconspicuous and you might think it is an Asian snack bar. But it's much prettier inside. The food leaves nothing to be desired and the service is very friendly. Above all, starter number 15 - two spring rolls with curry, duck, shrimp and glass noodles is an absolute hit!!! We recommend.

Really good, tasty Vietnamese food. When ordering it is important to speak very clearly. If you get the wrong dish, it doesn't matter because they all taste great!

Was looking for something different to eat and found this restaurant. Excellent food. Portions are big, can easy be shared. Staff very nice. Unfortunately, leaving tomorrow as I would have come back. Will definitely refer to local friends.

Great Vietnamese food, I haven't eaten anything here that I didn't like. I always loved Vietnamese spring rolls in Vietnam, and these are just as delicious here! Totally nice owners.

The ambience is fine. Not particularly chic or modern, but ok. The food wasn't really good. The soup was good. The duck was very fatty. The beef was terribly bad. Poor quality. Not eatable. Unfortunately, based on the rating, we expected more. It's a shame, but we definitely won't go there again.

The food comes in good portions, is hot and full of taste. The staff is very nice and happy to accomodate requests and give details about the food. The prices are great for Munich standards. It takes some time for the food to be prepared which is not bad.

Very friendly service and super delicious food

Hoa Thai may seem inconspicuous from the outside, but you shouldn't let that fool you. Inside it is small but cozy, but what is much more important: an extremely (authentically) friendly waitress with whom you can easily get into a nice conversation. The price-performance ratio is great, the food itself is extremely tasty, whether chicken, duck or beef. No matter the dish, none of them stood out compared to the others. There are also traditional Vietnamese dishes, including summer rolls and pho. And very important: no glutamate in the food. This is now becoming a weekly food hit.

Great service, and yes, it does take time sometimes but the food is really prepared with love. Nice family business.

Food was ok, nothing special. Unfortunately it was also very cold in the restaurant, which is why we froze a bit. So all that was left to do was eat quickly and get out again.

I've eaten here at least ten times and I have to say it's just really good, whether in the store or take away. These dishes stand out from the others in Munich, and I travel a lot, food-wise. The duck is the best around. You won't be disappointed here.

Simply the best Vietnamese food!! The crispy duck with peanut sauce is my favorite, a recommendation from me. Very polite staff and beautiful location!

Sehr gutes Restaurant, dass vor allem durch den freundlichen Service besticht. Das Essen war/ist sehr lecker zu einem top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das Ambiente ist nur leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen, dennoch nicht schlecht.

Von außen unscheinbar jedoch ein Geheimtipp. Waren heute mit mehreren Freunden dort zum Essen gewesen und sind nicht enttäuscht worden. Von den Vorspeisen bis zum Hauptgericht alles nur Top. Selbstgemachte Frühlingsrollen, Top. Keine fertig Saucen und große Portionen. Es empfiehlt sich auf jedenfall zu reservieren. Fazit: Preis/Leistung passt Jederzeit wieder.

Sehr gut! Schönes Restaurant, nette Bedienungen und extrem gutes Essen. Preis Leistung ist hier finde ich sehr gut. Essen hochwertig und Preise sind mittlerweile fast im günstigsten Bereich. Wir gehen hier regelmäßig essen. Wir waren immer super zufrieden!

Wir haben Hühnerbrust/gelben Curry und gebr Reis mit Gemüse bestellt, suuuuuuper lecker, schon lange nicht mehr so gut Chinesisch gegessen!!! Die Stunde warten hat sich echt gelohnt!! Wir werden auf jeden fall wieder bestellen! Danke für das leckere Essen!

Unscheinbares, aber sehr schönes Restaurant mit tollem Essen und einem unglaublich netten Service. Komme sehr gerne wieder.

Wir haben das Essen vor Ort bestellt und mit nach Hause genommen. Ich habe noch nie eine so knusprige Ente bekommen. War wirklich gut. Vor allem wurde die Soße extra dazu gegeben. Das Gemüse knackig und gut abgeschmeckt.

Solides asiatisches Essen zu fairem Preis. Location sowohl innen als auch außen sehr einfach und lieblos. Hier wäre viel Luft nach oben. Bedienung sehr freundlich.

Seit weit über 10 Jahren besuchen wir regelmäßig das Hoa Thai als Gäste. Egal ob zu zweit, mit Freunden oder mit der ganzen Familie. Manchmal holen wir uns auch das Essen für zuhause ab. Wir sind nahezu ausnahmslos immer wieder von der Freundlichkeit und der Qualität der Gerichte begeistert. Wir können es ohne Einschränkung weiter empfehlen. Wer keinen großen Wert auf München-Schickimicki legt, dafür aber wirklich sehr gut asiatisch Essen möchte, ist hier bestens aufgehoben!

Essen sehr gut, nur beim Bestellen braucht es Geduld. Habe heute für 18.30 h bestellt, geliefert wurde um 19:45 Uhr ....

Erst einmal dort gewesen aber das Essen hat direkt überzeugt, war sehr sehr lecker. Freundlicher Service, man fühlt sich direkt wohl, werde definitiv öfter kommen. Achja, meine Portion war sehr üppig, man geht definitiv nicht hungrig nach Hause 😁
