I haven't had such a good buffet in a long time. Everything was there. Very fresh, constantly replenished, clean, great atmosphere, fast, unobtrusive service... Amazing aquarium at the entrance!!! Fresh food for show cooking. Huge selection of hot and cold dishes. Appetizers and dessert were top-notch. Reservations are recommended.

Anyone wanting to eat a Chinese buffet will be very happy here. Friendly, attentive staff – we would definitely come back.

The evening buffet is a great deal for me, and at €22 (plus a mandatory drink), the price is reasonable. My favorite part is the grill station with its wide selection of meat, fish, vegetables, and sauces – the combinations are practically endless.

The food is excellent as always, and the service is perfectly fine. Drinks arrive quickly, and the clearing of plates is very efficient. Admittedly, the ambiance is a bit dated.

The worst experience i have ever had in my life,our problem started with the waitress and she started to shout at us after we just asked if there's any free tables she rudely answered us that no and the place will be full for the rest of the evening, then we decided to call them and a man answered said there's a free table at 20:00, we came back in to make sure that the reservation is valid, the same waitress came to us and started shouting again and told us she doesnt like us and told us to get out and said our reservation is canceled

The food tastes disgustingly cheap. We all have stomach aches and wish we weren't eating here. Everything is ready meals and there's hardly any choice. The sushi at Netto tastes a lot better.

Hello, the food was a huge disappointment. I was even more dissatisfied afterward than before because, frankly, it was just disgusting. The fried items were tasteless and overcooked, some even half-raw. The buffet of ready-made items offered very little variety, and what little there was was very greasy and simply unappetizing. All in all, it was a very bad experience, and we felt sick afterward. P.S.: We didn't even get any fortune cookies.

A great Chinese restaurant with a buffet. We come here regularly and have always had good meals. So far, we've always had the buffet, but you can also order a la carte. Depending on the day and time, it can get quite busy here. The buffet selection is medium to large, with something for everyone. There's also the option of having raw meat fried with a variety of oils. The service is attentive and friendly. The ambiance is rather old-fashioned, rustic, and simple, but it fits the overall look, so it's not bad. The evening buffet costs €22 per person plus drinks, which I think is very fair. Highly recommended!

We ate a la carte. It was very delicious, and all our requests were catered for. The grill buffet also looked very tasty and plentiful. The service was friendly and the staff.

I can generally recommend this restaurant because of its great location on the Karlsaue park and its idyllic beer garden. We were there for the lunch buffet on Friday. We had a lovely outdoor spot right by the pond. It looks very neglected, though, which is a shame. Dark, greasy water, leaves, and no oxygen supply for the small fish that constantly rose to the surface. This could be improved. The lunch buffet had a wide selection, but unfortunately, the noodles were cold and the various dishes weren't even warm, so we didn't enjoy it. Other meat and fish offerings, as well as fried dishes, were lukewarm and soggy. Absolutely terrible, not enjoyable. The fruit and ice cream left a lot to be desired. The pineapple slices were all rotten, the grapes were soft, and the ice cream was far too soft in the freezer and immediately melted on the plate. We immediately informed the waitress that the ice cream freezer definitely needed to be set at a lower temperature. The lunch buffet was a huge disappointment. I absolutely cannot recommend this. Until now, we've only visited the restaurant in the evenings, and the food was much better then. They also offer a selection of raw fish, meat, and vegetables, which you can have prepared directly on the grill. It always tastes great. This time, it felt like it was reheated food from the day before. So, never again for the lunch buffet. What a shame.

Fantastic food. The buffet is plentiful and fresh. The selection is gigantic. We particularly like the fact that if you overeat, you have to pay extra if you can't eat it all. Highly recommended.

We ate there for the first time. The buffet was very large and the selection was very good. Some things didn't fit, like the German potato salad...but all in all, it was good. The service was really great. Very attentive, very fast, and always friendly. Overall, it was a bit dated; we sat outside. The buffet price was okay because you can have everything freshly grilled. If the place was really busy, it would definitely be too crowded for us. About one-third of the space was occupied, and there was already quite a bit of activity.

Completely satisfied, full, and happy. Even with stomach surgery, I can eat as a kart while everyone else enjoys the buffet. I used to go there often as a child and love stopping by whenever I'm nearby. It's so beautifully located by the spa gardens; I highly recommend a stroll to help digestion.

The grilled food wasn't cooked well, which didn't make for a great tasting experience. You also have to wait, even though there are staff available to bring the food to your table. The ambiance is nice, but it's very cramped, the restrooms aren't wheelchair accessible, and the spiral staircase is steep.

Nothing special about the price-performance ratio, but the quality is worth it. The restaurant needs a complete overhaul. Nothing has been done to it for years or even decades.

Here, they offer an all-you-can-eat buffet for €22. It's especially delicious to put together your own dish from raw meat or fish pieces and raw vegetables, and then have it cooked in front of you. The sushi items, however, are only mediocre.

We ate at the buffet and were very satisfied. I don't understand reviews that complain about the buffet food being lukewarm. It always depends on when the food comes out of the kitchen. The staff were very friendly and attentive. What I really liked was the notice that leftovers over 100g would be charged an extra €2, so we can prevent food waste.

I would say the selection is quite limited compared to other Chinese buffets we've been to. The sushi was quite dry. The food selection was limited; we even had to wait in line to get the food. The taste was also average. Not much to say.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointing – unfortunately not recommended This was my second visit to Dschingis Khan – Augarten Kassel, and this time I was truly shocked. The place now seems pretty run-down overall, which in itself would be bearable – if the rest of the food was right. What really disappointed us, however, was that as soon as we got our drinks and grabbed something to eat from the buffet, we noticed that the soft drinks were completely carbonated. We politely complained and were given new drinks, but had to listen to an argument with the staff – unprofessional and unpleasant. Overall, the impression was sobering: – The cleanliness left a lot to be desired – The staff weren't very friendly or approachable – The buffet seemed unloving and of subpar quality If you just want to be full and can do without service, atmosphere, and appreciation, this might be the place for you. However, if you're looking for an all-around pleasant dining experience, you'd better avoid this place. We definitely won't be back.

We ate there. The phone call was very unfriendly when we made our reservation. They could be friendlier with their customers. I can't comment on the location or the prices. The location is beautiful on the meadow and with a small pond in the middle, good for the price, although considering I would only give the food one star, it's logical. The staff were very unfriendly. The only one who stood out to me was the waiter, perhaps the manager. The others seemed very listless and without a friendly face. The drink didn't taste like what I ordered, and the food was also very questionable. Not a large selection, which is what you would expect from an all-you-can-eat buffet. The food tasted like it was only prepared fresh once a day. By 6 p.m., almost everything was gone, and nothing was refilled. The squid rings were not tasty at all; they served tomato mozzarella with sheep's cheese, which I can't recommend either. So, we won't be coming back. What I liked was that it wasn't crowded and you could have a good conversation.

Meal to go. Sweet and sour duck. €17.50. The meat had some cartilage, hardly any vegetables, and was already garnished in an Asian style, but it came with three round slices of canned pineapple. The sweet and sour sauce was just sour. I've never had such an inedible sauce. Not only was it not worth the money...

I just wanted to go to the restroom and was given a rude shout-out by the staff. I then said I'd order a small drink as I didn't have €1 on me. She said no, and after her colleague came over, she just said go straight through, nothing more. Next time, it will be friendlier.

We arrived very hungry and were not disappointed. The buffet itself was extensive and good, and the selection of fresh items cooked on an open grill was fantastic! There was also a small platter of sushi, which wasn't exactly super fresh, but wasn't bad either. Only the dessert buffet was just so-so: unfortunately, the oranges were watery and flavorless, the cake was a dry sponge with a slight flavor, and I was hoping for sesame ice cream instead of the usual five European flavors. The service was super fast and very friendly. Overall, I would definitely come back and eat here again!

A very spacious restaurant. We received a friendly welcome and were immediately introduced to the buffet. Everything was appetizingly presented and, despite the lack of crowds that day, there was a sufficient selection. Very tasty and the price/performance ratio was also good. 22 euros per person.

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience at the Genghis Khan Augarten Restaurant in Kassel. As soon as I entered, I noticed that the ambience seemed quite bland - hardly any decoration, an uncomfortable atmosphere and a loud background noise. The service was slow and unfriendly. We had to wait a long time for anyone to take our order, and questions about the menu were answered curtly or curtly. What was particularly annoying was that our food didn't arrive for over 45 minutes - and the restaurant wasn't even full. The meal itself was a huge disappointment. The dishes were carelessly prepared, lukewarm and tasted absolutely unconvincing. The meat was tough, the vegetables were overcooked and the sauces tasted artificial. For a restaurant that prides itself on Mongolian grill, this was a bitter disappointment. The cleanliness also left a lot to be desired: the table was sticky, the cutlery wasn't really clean, and the toilets were in questionable condition. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant and will definitely not be coming back.

Everything tasted good although the selection wasn't large. The raw meat and fish for frying were very fresh and the sauces that were available for them tasted great.

We were there for the first time with the family. Food great, decoration, hygienic and prices good too. We were quite satisfied and will probably go there again. Staff was super friendly EXCEPT one young lady, she looks southern. Very unfriendly and snatches your plate away even though you are eating. We had to tell her twice that my plate was still full and I wanted to finish it. And every time she just wanted to snatch the plate away from me without comment and was annoyed even though we should be. A person like that really has no place in service. Otherwise, as I said, we can only report positive things.

Went to the china restaurant in the Aue today... Went there with 18 people and accepted the buffet offer. Service was good and manageable The restaurant was clean as were the sanitary facilities I'm a little disappointed with the buffet... No duck...which is what we were most happy about. The beef or chicken with mushrooms and sprouts was good so far. But it always tasted the same... Well... one visit was okay so far, but next time I'll look somewhere else... Still...you can go there

When we were there it was very crowded. The buffet is very rich, but that's about it... There was no feel-good atmosphere, table after table, hardly any space to walk through, carelessly furnished, it was like pike soup, the buffet food was cold across the board, plates weren't warmed, you had to wait for something you had put together yourself in front of the chef until it was ready, the service was totally overwhelmed... There were four of us there, but we won't go there again. We know some of this size, but we don't need this again......

Super Asia Buffet was there for the first time today and was totally thrilled with this beautiful restaurant in the middle of a beautiful park and lake

The Mongolian grill buffet is awesome. The grill station does what it promises. The staff is super relaxed, friendly and really nice. Drinking the whole menu once - priceless. Mini golf in front of it is also highly recommended.

We were there with a large group for the buffet and no one found anything that they liked. Everything was very bland/watery. Everything from the grill was extremely fatty. Despite adversity, the service staff were the best the store has to offer. With them and the ambience you could offer so much better.

The buffet is rich and very tasty at a really fair price. In addition, the service is unbeatable. The used dishes are cleared away promptly and the friendliness of the staff. The owner management is simply great. The building in the Dutch architectural style is great. Since it is located in a huge park in the Fulda Auen, you feel like you are on vacation in Holland. The food, even if the sushi selection was a bit small, tasted very good, which doesn't always happen with a Chinese buffet. It was very tasty here I liked it a lot. However, it is very well attended. Unfortunately, there are people who always have something to complain about and therefore can't see the good things about their experience. Others have it much worse, so I can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience. If you want a 5 star buffet, you should pay twice as much and go somewhere else. I think the food tastes really great for this fair price

Disgusting wok. This has nothing to do with Chinese cuisine. The cook fries everything to death in rapeseed oil. You can't taste any of the sauce. This restaurant has declined significantly.

The atmosphere is very inviting and cozy, and the staff were always friendly, attentive and helpful. You can tell that emphasis is placed on quality and service here. For anyone looking for a special culinary experience, I can highly recommend Genghis Khan in Augarten. I will definitely come back!

I've never experienced anything like that... What am I looking for, for example? Orange sauce when washed down with white wine while grilling? The prawns were also really glassy and had to be returned again and again... The “crispy” duck was tough, the cauliflower was raw, the broccoli was overcooked, the plate was ice cold. The only thing that had any flavor was the soy sauce. For various reasons I didn't complain about the whole thing right away (including because I was half starving), but only after eating. The waiter's reaction was mushy: next time, say it straight away. It's a shame, I'll miss the atmosphere in summer.

The worst Chinese / Mongolian buffet ever... Some of the food wasn't finished. In terms of taste, everything left a lot to be desired. We didn't even dare to try the "fresh" fish. Visually, the fresh meat and fish seemed anything but trustworthy. All ice cream flavors tasted the same. The glass of the Apelschorle smelled like beer... The guests in the restaurant adapted to the level... Once and NEVER again.. 🤢😝
