The worst Danube wave is available here for €4 - drier than dry cake. Germknodel with (almost) cold vanilla sauce is available for €8. There wasn't even hand soap in the toilets for 5 days and the toilets look very worn out. The only good thing here is the ambience inside or outside on the sunny terrace. The staff was fine. OK for a quick drink stop, but not for eating.

I was a guest at the Draxl-Stüberl for the first time today and was very impressed. It has a modern dining room with lots of light wood and beautiful large tables. The food, a delicious “Kaspressknödel” and a cranberry eggnog cake, were great and homemade. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I'd love to come back!

Really bad food. Pea soup without peas, more of a green liquid with a sauce thickener. The bacon dumpling in slightly salty water makes me wonder why instant broth isn't used according to the instructions. Salad small and swimming in sauce. You can only come here once, or better yet, never once. Too bad...

The food is described as tasty and inexpensive. Some criticisms concern the limited selection of vegetarian dishes and the limited parking options. Overall, the Keller Gaststättenbetriebs-GmbH seems to be a pleasant place for a good meal and a cozy get-together.

Gilgenhöfe 4We were here after a hiking trip and stopped spontaneously. The food was great and the service was very friendly and attentive. The overall ambience is very cozy and tidy. An express recommendation!

Marktstraße 13, Lenggries, Bavaria, Germany We had dinner at Altwirt today and it was horrible! We had 5 different dishes and they were inedible...The children's menu (dumplings with sauce) then resulted in vomiting. There were also disgusting spaetzle, pumpkin with Camembert and salad with strips of chicken breast. Everyone had stomach pain, nausea and diarrhea afterwards!!!! The char seemed to be the best at first, but it was filled with whole cloves of garlic and here too there was subsequent nausea and stomach problems! The waitress didn't accept the nicely worded criticism at all and overplayed it. Not recommended!!!

Gilgenhöfe 29aBefore the restaurant became an après-ski hut, it was open all year round and always full, summer and winter. We have spent many wonderful hours here over the years. We even enjoyed stopping by when we were passing through. The food and drinks were plentiful. Something for every taste. The rustic and historical ambience invited you to linger, whether inside or outside. Since we are vacationing in Lenggries again, this was once again a stop for us. The website states that the Mulistation is open on Saturdays and Sundays. This is by no means the case. Unfortunately, it is not obvious at first glance that it is only open in winter and can only be booked for celebrations from spring to autumn upon request. Too bad

Schoettlstrasse 1It's a shame, we wanted to eat there and found the doors closed. Because of the weather. There were boards with menus and directions at the front of the parking space and on the way there. Maybe put a note there next time too? With reference to whether there are still rolls from 7.30 or not?
