Dear Double S Diner team, We had the great pleasure of having dinner with friends at your place in Donaueschingen and it was a thoroughly wonderful experience. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were warmly welcomed by Adrian, our waiter. Not only was he incredibly friendly and accommodating, but he also immediately thought of our dog and brought a bowl of water before we had even sat down - such a thoughtful gesture that made us very happy. Adrian accompanied us throughout the evening with his positive charisma and always polite manner. You could tell straight away that he was passionate about his job, and that made us feel completely at home from the first moment. The cozy ambience of the Double S Diner rounded off the evening perfectly. We can only recommend everyone to stop by here and let yourself be pampered by the friendly service and the great atmosphere. Thank you for the lovely evening – we’d love to come back! Best regards

The diner has a nice American look. Unfortunately, it smelled very like smoke inside. The staff was super friendly! I had a cheeseburger, there's still some room for improvement in terms of taste.

Was there for breakfast on Monday morning and had the American breakfast and there was coffee to refill. The breakfast was delicious and the service was very friendly. The ambience was also very cool. Like in a real American diner...I can only recommend it

For a day trip in the area and ended up here on recommendation. Very authentic place, warm welcome at the door. Authentic furnishings - you feel like you're somewhere else. Service super friendly, attentive and accommodating. Food, drink and prices are great :) Highlight - the coffee as a refill like in a typical diner. Great concept :) Still celebrating it.

We were there on a Monday evening. The diner was well attended, a lot of reservations were made, but we still managed to get a seat. The service was friendly and quick. The homemade lemonade (had “lemon squash”) is delicious. I treated myself to the “Double Six Burger” with home fries. I would have liked sweet potato fries, but unfortunately they aren't available. Burger was juicy, the meat was good and the sauce rounded it off well. The fries were OK. The restaurant is clean, the toilets too. All in all very neat and recommended!

The burgers with fries and potato wedges were delicious. However, I had a fried fly at the bottom of my fries (so always empty the bag!). And there was no apology either, only the question of whether I wanted everything new or just the fries...hence two stars deducted.

Stay away from the starters. Main course was ok.

We were greeted very friendly. To bridge the waiting time, my daughter was given painting supplies, which she started doing right away. The Kidsburger felt huge and my little one was more than full. The veggie burger was very tasty and the potato wedges were also excellent.

Parkplatz Vor dem Restaurant kann man Parken, wie viele Parkplätze es hat kann ich nicht sagen denn ich hatte immer die Möglichkeit dort zu parken. Zugänglichkeit m. d. Rollstuhl Ist möglich. Denn alles ist eben und man kann mit den Rollstuhl reinfahren. Sah jetzt keine Behinderungen für den Rollstuhlfahrer

Rarely have we experienced such courteous and friendly service! (deliberate plural). Level a little louder at peak times but acceptable (diner feeling), furnishings are beautiful. Food was also perfect. We'll definitely see each other again on our next vacation!

It's been a long time since I made a trip to Diner's for lunch. The Propevoll store. The staff, although friendly, were obviously overwhelmed by the situation and obviously didn't know the map completely. The meal also took a full half hour from the time of ordering, which was clearly too long... The competition with the golden M is quicker... Even at peak times. The burger with the wedges was good, but not necessarily anything special for the high price. At least he was full. The ambience is something special and conveys American flair quite well. The music also fits in quite well. But the location in the industrial area is not quite as suitable. But there probably benefits from the people who go there for lunch from the surrounding companies.

My wife and I spontaneously drove past in the hope that we would get a place. The two men assigned to you that evening were super friendly and arranged a table for us for 1.5 hours. Great food, great service, we really enjoy coming here. Best regards.

I'm really excited about this diner. Very friendly and courteous service, great location and first-class food. Unfortunately my son had an allergic reaction to the cookies although he is only allergic to walnuts. We would still like to come back, there is still a lot to try there. Just for someone to take our order, we waited over 40 minutes and the food came literally 2 hours later

The food is good, but the staff is lovely. And the schedule, the best.

We reserved a table for 12 people and they put us in 2 divided tables, benches and wet tables since it was reserved on the terrace

Classic diner in a quiet location, a generally relaxed atmosphere. Good selection of American and some Mexican dishes with an additional selection of drinks and desserts. Moist towels for cleaning turned out to be positive and the prices are also reasonable. Service was also very accommodating. Only the wedges could be a little softer, but that's the only small point of criticism in an otherwise very good restaurant visit.

Sunny Sunday, come with the family, immediately unloaded from the table on the terrace, supposedly reserved but no sign. Should we sit down in it? The atmosphere is in need of renovation. Nothing happened for 15 minutes, then we got up and luckily there is Öschberghof nearby, saved on Sunday.

The ambience is really cool, but I've eaten much better hamburgers and you can also add sharp knives with the pork neck (these are all things that can be fixed quickly). But the milkshake was really fruity and delicious and the service staff were also very friendly.

Thank you very much for that and a huge compliment. The food was good, the portions were sufficient, the atmosphere in the niche was cozy and cozy. We would have liked to stay for dessert, but we were just passing through and were lucky enough to get a table without a reservation. We would recommend this restaurant :-)

Wir haben uns zu zweit die Family Plate bestellt (siehe Bild). Wider Erwarten haben wir die sehr gut gefüllte Platte zu zweit nicht geschafft 😅 sehr lecker. Reste konnten wir problemlos einpacken. Nettes Personal. Gerne wieder :) Getränke auch im Pitcher erhältlich 👍

I've been there three times today and I'm thrilled three times. Starting with a super nice and courteous service. You just feel comfortable here. The food is very tasty including herb butter for the steaks. Everything was to the greatest satisfaction. I would be happy to come back. (Prices are very good for the good food!)

Unfortunately, I'm always disappointed with the food. A lot of it is frozen, but the price is still high, and for vegetarians and vegans the selection is really very limited. The interior is creative, but a matter of taste

I ordered a medium steak, but unfortunately it wasn't medium at all but completely cooked through and dry. The potatoes were also anything but tasty, either reheated or baked for too long. The plate itself was very carelessly prepared and unfortunately the taste was absolutely unconvincing. The dressing on the side salad was almost certainly a ready-made dressing and the huge nacho tasted like rancid oil. It's a shame because the price wasn't exactly cheap and when I pay that much I just expect more. I've definitely eaten better somewhere else.

Authentic diner with good cuisine (open for very long!!) and friendly service. Were there in the evening, I wouldn't be surprised if "Roxanne" comes by the table in the morning with a pot of coffee. Will check when the opportunity arises ;-) Burger was great, steak was okay, just a few seconds too long in the pan.. Anyway, again at any time!

Ordered drinks and ribs. Drinks didn't come at all and ribs were on shoe soles and in the oven for too long. and too expensive for frozen goods

Ein richtig typisch Amerikanisches Diner. Wir werden jedes Mal super Nett empfangen und schnell Bedient. Die Speisekarte gibt so einiges an Ami essen her. Das Essen ist Top. Einfach empfehlenswert.

Sieht sehr cool aus mitarbeiter sehr nett essen sehr gut das sehr satt macht im sommer mit terasse und leicht mit dem auto zu erreichen und lange öffnungszeiten. Der preis ist okay möglicherweise etwas teurer was aber noch okay ist, da es lecker ist und auch viel zum essen ist.

Ein typisches amerikanisch-mexikanisches Diner. Nette Bedienung und gute Atmosphäre. Die Burger sind neuerdings aus qualitativ gutem Fleisch und schmecker viel besser als früher. Meine Favoriten sind "Burrito belly Beef" und das "Farmer Steak" mit selbstgemachtem Kräuterbutter. Auch die Blue Plate über Mittag ist abwechslungsreich, beinhaltet neben einem reichhaltigen Essen auch noch einen Kaffee. Es ist das einizige Restaurant in weiter Umgebung, in dem man von morgens 9 Uhr bis abends 24 Uhr (oder noch später) warmes Essen bekommt. (Fastfood-Ketten natürlich ausgeschlossen)

Es schmeckt und ist toll da aber es ist für die Burger einfach zu teuer!!
