Dostlar Restaurant in Kehl

For the moment I especially appreciated the small bucolic terrace of this bar. This is a change from the bars on the church square in Kehl. We are so good there

Disastrous service!!! We weren't really served there. We had to walk through the lounge and take care of our own order. The same with the second round. Nobody came and we had to wait over 40 minutes for a cappuccino. In the end the “waitress” wanted to rip me off for 1 euro when I paid. I don't understand how you can employ such unqualified people. The one star is for the furnishings but that's it.

We were in Kehl on the way to Strasbourg and wanted to try La Kasbah. We were the only guests and felt like we had surprised the owners. The restaurant is very simply furnished, the ambience is a matter of taste and is a bit old. The lady offered us a seat and immediately took our drink order. We ordered a bottle of still water for the two of us and got 0.33l supermarket water in a plastic bottle for €2. On the menu we ordered (see pictures) the starter platter for two people, my wife Kiremit Poulet (chicken with tomato sauce in a clay bowl) and I ordered Kiremit Köfte (meatballs with tomato sauce in a clay bowl). Unfortunately, when the starter came, we were disappointed. It bore no resemblance to the one on the map. We each received a bowl of hummus and a bowl of eggplant puree with bread. Both tasted a bit bland, but the fresh bread made up for it. The main courses tasted good. It was freshly prepared, but a little too little even for my wife. For the price I would have expected slightly larger portions, which is a shame. The restaurant La Kasbah is ok for a detour, but unfortunately for me the price-performance ratio doesn't match the quantity. I therefore only recommend it to a limited extent. It's a shame because the food tasted really good...

The food tastes very good and the staff is very friendly!

Delicious food for a very reasonable price and next to a camper place, really great.
