Dorfalm Lippstadt in Lippstadt

I visited the Dorfalm for the first time today and was very disappointed. I don't eat meat, but they don't have any really good vegetarian dishes. I chose asparagus and potatoes; 2 out of 5 asparagus stalks were woody, and the potatoes tasted a bit odd. Personally, I find the tables very close together, which is a bit tiring, but maybe not so bad for others. The service staff are attentive and friendly. All in all, I wouldn't go back to this restaurant; there are definitely better quality options in Lippstadt.

We were there today by bike. The service was very friendly and the food was good.

We met up with our relatives there for our 40th birthday party. The lunchtime service, consisting of two people, made a genuine effort to accommodate everyone and everything. The meal for 44 adults and 11 children was delicious. We can highly recommend the restaurant for larger groups. The play barn is particularly worth mentioning; it's a dream for children to play in. This also gave the parents a little space to chat with the others. Many thanks to the entire team, and especially Ms. Bracht. We'd love to come back!

Hello, Unfortunately, the staff were dressed a bit sloppily: their polo shirts were fully unbuttoned and their white shoes were dirty. There was sticky dirt under my wife's chair. The railing to the restrooms on the upper floor was a bit sticky. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The wait time for the food to arrive was 45 minutes. The food was OK, but the price was too high.

A very nice, cozy restaurant. The ambience is very well-thought-out and inviting. The service is very friendly. For families with children (from 1.5-2 years old), there's a great highlight: an indoor and outdoor playground. The food tastes very good. However, it only gets 4 stars because there isn't much choice and some of the dishes aren't cooked perfectly. On my last visit, I had a salad with green asparagus "Asparagus meets Burrata" from the seasonal menu and was somewhat disappointed. The portion was quite large, but... The asparagus was overcooked and unfortunately tasted of nothing. I had hoped for more of the burrata (there was maybe 1/4 of the portion on the large plate), and the potato vinaigrette was unfortunately underseasoned. Overall, a delicious idea that unfortunately didn't work out. But we'll definitely be back.

A pot of coffee and a piece of cake for 8.90 isn't exactly a bargain. Maybe give some of the money to the poster painter for a Bavarian course for beginners. It was super tasty and there is a really nice atmosphere. I always enjoy going there, but what I find to be an absolute “no-go” is that every time we are more or less thrown out at least an hour before the stated closing time. It is now at least the fifth time that you sit there comfortably at half past eight to nine o'clock and they clean up around you and ask shortly after nine if they can collect money. I come from a customer service background and my motto is “The customer is king”. And unfortunately that's only the case until an hour before the end of the day. Otherwise highly recommended, but dear service you have to work on it.

We have eaten there twice so far. The first time we had a very nice waitress who immediately apologized that it was taking longer today. (No problem, staff shortages are an issue everywhere.) But she asked several times during the meal whether everything was OK and we were able to pay well after the meal. The food was really good. The second time (during the week) the food was rather average, e.g. very few fries. Nobody came to ask if everything was good (although we would have liked to say what was wrong with the food), we had to ask three times for the bill. Then the price - no. I don't know if we would recommend the restaurant or visit it again.

The spinach dumplings were very tasty. The food came quickly even though we were a large group. Negative: We got a new menu without knowing that not all dishes were available. After ordering, instead of potato and cucumber salad with the fried fish, there was a simple cucumber salad. When asked about this, they said that the potato and cucumber salad would not be available until next week.

We were there on December 15th. there for breakfast at 9:00 a.m. For 25€ per person you expect something. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Very crowded, but only 3 people in service who just ran but couldn't keep up. From half past ten there was a chance of grain rolls, salmon or ham. Not before. Until then, orange juice or water was almost always empty. Old dishes were piled up on the tables. With so many guests there needs to be more staff. Example when adding bread rolls: One person holds the large basket, the other takes the rolls out of it. Completely inefficient. Otherwise selection ok, nothing special.

We had dinner with the family today. The food was good except for one dish. The farmer's salad we ordered was also okay. However, chicken breast strips were ordered, which were not edible. You couldn't even put the fork in it. The pieces were rock hard and looked nothing like chicken breasts. The pieces appeared to be completely dried out. Serving something like that is really absurd. Because you should have seen that. At least two people (cook and waitress) had the plate before it was served. This wouldn't be so bad if the reaction after the complaint had been appropriate. Unfortunately she wasn't. When asked about this, the service person replied: "I asked if everything was OK." The question then arises as to whether she saw it and that's why she asked. If so, then why did she serve it? You don't have to understand it.

So just because the breakfast buffet has been taking place on Advent Sundays for 4 weeks now, I find it very outrageous to increase the price of breakfast by €5! Especially since there is nothing other than Sundays outside of Advent. At the price of €24.95 we definitely expected more.

When we entered the Dorf Alm we were greeted by a beautiful alpine ambience. The dishes were super tasty, whether it was mountain schnitzel, spareribs or veal liver, there was nothing to complain about. Only the service staff seemed a bit annoyed, which certainly had something to do with the fact that she was working alone at the time of our visit...

It's Oktoberfest week. I had a knuckle with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. It was super tasty and more than enough. My family had schnitzel, burgers, obazda and sauerbraten. Everything was very tasty and plentiful. The service was good, prompt and attentive. The atmosphere was very good, cozy (see website) and very high quality. We drive 1/2 hour each way. It was worth it and we'll be back🤗

We were there for breakfast today. Unfortunately, despite reservations, there were no children's chairs left. This meant we had to hold our daughter in our arms at all times. The buffet was overcrowded so you had to wait forever and your appetite was already gone. In addition, there weren't enough clean plates at the buffet. Orange juice and hot water were not refilled. There was hardly any space on the table.

About two years ago we received the tip to visit the Alm in Lippstadt. Unfortunately we only managed to visit recently. The ambience is really nice, even if we expected more from the advertised “Oktoberfest weeks” - at least some appropriate music from the loudspeakers. After we were assigned a seat (and also given the menu), we were able to order the drinks and food straight away after 10 minutes. Unfortunately it takes another 20 minutes!!! It took a long time to get the drinks - we almost died of thirst. That's a no-go. After we were finally able to toast with our drinks (the beer tasted stale, by the way), we received our food a few minutes later. The meatloaf we ordered on the plate tasted OK, but far too little for the price. Price/performance didn't fit. The burgers from my friends were also ok, but also far too small for the price. The second round of drinks went a little faster, but many neighboring tables were left dry. You could have generated so much sales, but somehow the “Dorfalm” wasn’t up for it… I can’t explain it any other way… The friend who was sitting at the table and also comes from the industry or gastronomy had such a “pulse” and would have liked to jump in straight away to help or rather coordinate - because there was actually enough staff available. Incidentally, the main service seemed very fake, “friendly” and totally “over it” - completely unpleasant and inappropriate. After the negative experience, it was unfortunately our last visit to the Dorfalm for the time being. The location is actually quite nice - you could really do something with it. But the owner doesn't seem to be interested - hopefully it won't be run down...

We were there on Saturday evening 10/12/24. We were only able to order drinks after a second request from the staff. After 45 minutes still no drinks had been brought. So the staff was running around everywhere but didn't do anything. Totally unstructured. There is still 100% room for improvement compared to other restaurants. The food came in a reasonable time and tasted good.

The food was acceptable, but the prices are relatively high. The service at the table was extremely poor. We were only given a drink and a meal, after which we were consistently ignored. We were not offered any other drinks. When we asked for the bill we had to wait another 30 minutes for someone to come. In my opinion the restaurant is not recommended.

Oktoberfest in der Dorfalm ! Tisch reserviert - dann sitzt man fast alleine im Restaurant. Getränke üblich. Tischunterleger-Speisekarte. Dazu orginelle Musik von WDR2 o.ä. "Wo finde ich Weißwürstchen?" = "Nein so etwas wird ja nie verlangt, auf der Oktoberfestkarte haben wir rheinischer Sauerbraten oder Bratwürstchen oder Chicken Nuggets." Leute - dann laßt es doch und schaltet keine Werbung. War die letzte Chance für den Laden.

Good restaurant A quaint restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. We were privately invited here for lunch. The service staff was a bit taciturn and reserved, but not unfriendly. The food was very good and sufficient. The waiting time was also good, but it wasn't busy. The parking spaces directly in front are very good and generous. The toilets were very clean. All in all a good restaurant.
