We traveled from Duisburg, and our host had reserved a table for us at the restaurant. We were very impressed by the ambiance; it's a beautiful place. The service was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. Our head waiter, Stephan, did a fantastic job and, despite the restaurant being full, always had time for a personal word with our group. If we ever find ourselves in Lippstadt again, the Dorf Alm will be our first choice. Thank you for a wonderful evening at your establishment!

For years, my partner and I have been coming here every four to five weeks to enjoy a cozy evening. We've tried practically everything on the menu. We've never been disappointed. And the staff has always been friendly and competent. We would really miss the Dorfalm. Food is served from the buffet starting at 5 p.m. Before that, there's a la carte, which I would definitely prefer here. There were whole knuckles of pork at the time, and mini knuckles at the buffet, which weren't particularly tasty. The Kaiserschmarrn also tasted artificial, with a pungent vanilla flavor. The ambiance is rustic, top-notch.

The food was very generous in terms of portion sizes and tasted good. I can only praise the friendliness of the staff, as we were offered a table without a reservation on a Saturday evening when the place was packed.

Everything was great. A colleague at work recommended that I eat at the DorfAlm in Lipperode. As a vegetarian, I was skeptical about whether there would be anything suitable for me. I found some great vegetarian dishes on the menu and opted for the Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle). They were not only incredibly delicious, but also beautifully presented, and the portion was huge for a very good price. I'm already looking forward to the next time, although the drive is almost an hour.

We spontaneously stopped by two weeks ago and unexpectedly ended up during Oktoberfest week. Bavarian food isn't really my thing. I was all the more surprised by the varied menu, which offered a modern interpretation of the traditional theme and truly catered to every taste and requirement. The ambiance was cozy and harmonious, with lovely outdoor seating in the autumn sunshine, and even though we were there during peak time, the food arrived quickly. The service was cheerful and attentive to the guests. Highly recommended!

The space and ambiance are truly beautiful. The friendly staff also make an effort and are always there to help. If you're looking for patience, this is the place for you! And if you've booked and reserved a table for 6:00 PM, don't expect to actually have your (very good) meal in front of you by 7:30 PM. The place is packed, and it gives the impression that it's busy, but in reality, the wait times are endless, leading to overcrowding, for example. In my opinion, they're temporarily lacking a super-talented person to lead the team and keep track of everything.

We happened upon the Dorfalm on October 2, 2025, for a bite to eat and were totally surprised that a restaurant like the Dorfalm even existed in Lipperode. We were greeted very warmly by the staff and were seated without having to make an appointment, where we were served very quickly. The food and drinks were delicious and plentiful; we really enjoyed the ambiance and the service staff (Stephan). We will definitely be back when we return to Lipperode with our motorhome.

We went there a few months ago with our family of five. We had to wait a very long time for our food; the very friendly staff kept putting us off several times. The food finally arrived and was delicious. At the end of our stay, we were more than generously compensated for the long wait. We'd be happy to go back again; that's how customer loyalty works.

The place is pretty good the service from the nice lady was great BUT as a former Swabian with many friends in Bavaria I have to say something :D My order of schnitzel with cheese spaetzle and sauce was very tasty but as a Swabian I have to say something about the spaetzle they were good yes but for me personally not authentic enough (hard to describe) but for this region (Lippstadt) still very suitable so all in all very very tasty (food at a very high level) I would come back definitely, I would order it again definitely as I said very very tasty

Ordered food for pickup over the phone. After waiting for almost an hour, we were told that the dish we ordered wasn't on the menu and we should please choose something else. Otherwise, it was really delicious and the atmosphere was nice.

We were there in October and were very satisfied! The food was very good, freshly prepared and attractively presented. The service was attentive, friendly and took care of all of our needs. Particularly noteworthy are the fair prices, which made the experience even more enjoyable. This is how I imagine a perfect visit to a restaurant. I would go here again at any time, even with friends who don't come from East Westphalia. Absolutely recommended!

Nice shop with a pleasant atmosphere. The food was delicious, except for a slightly salty sauce. At the entrance, it was noted that they were understaffed due to illness, but it was hardly noticeable given the number of customers.

Great atmosphere with a good menu.

We ate there twice. The service was very friendly, the drinks came quickly, but the food took over an hour to arrive. When we asked if we'd been forgotten, we were given a shot of schnapps on the house as compensation. Unfortunately, the fried potatoes (more like potato wedges) were undercooked. We mentioned this when paying. On our second visit, we pointed out the problem we encountered during our first visit when ordering, but this time everything went perfectly. We'd be happy to come back.

I tried the burger buffet at the Dorfalm and was unfortunately disappointed. The selection seemed very simple to me – mainly tomato, cucumber, cheese, and lettuce. The beef patties didn't have the typical grilled flavor, but were more reminiscent of boiled meat, and the bacon was overcooked. The chicken patties were edible, but not particularly good. Pulled pork wasn't offered at all, and I didn't try tofu. The buffet itself also had its shortcomings: Wedges, curly fries, and sauces were often empty, so you sometimes had to wait. In addition, plates often remained on the tables for a long time, even though several servers walked by. Our server was friendly, but overall, we rarely saw them. The buffet seemed a bit confusing to me, requiring a lot of zigzagging. A small dessert might have rounded it all off. For the price of €21.50, the buffet was disappointing in my opinion, as neither the quality nor the flow were up to scratch. I've been to the Dorfalm twice now and probably won't go again.

The ambiance was really nice. The waitress was attentive and friendly, but the food, or rather the salad with chicken breast strips, consisted mostly of cheap iceberg lettuce, two small tomatoes, and a watery salad dressing. The chicken breast strips were deep-fried. The menu advertised seasonal salads! €16.80 was pretty steep for such a flavorless, cheap salad. We were disappointed with the food, despite the nice ambiance.

It's always worth a visit. The atmosphere is great, the staff is always nice and friendly, and the food is delicious. There are always specials. We'll be happy to come back.

It was an absolute no-go that after arriving at 7 p.m., we couldn't order drinks and food for 15 minutes, and then had to wait another 45 minutes for our food, and then another 15 minutes to pay. While our table neighbors, who didn't have to wait nearly as long for their food as we did, didn't have to pay for their food at all (because they complained?), we had to pay the full amount (presumably only because we didn't complain). Apart from that, they could have announced at the beginning that it would take longer today due to a lack of staff. Or they could have adjusted the reservation size to suit the available staff. I made a reservation at pretty short notice and instead of being informed about the wait time, I simply received a confirmation.

Sundays, 6:00 p.m., and of course with a seat reservation, which, according to the confirmation, is valid for 2 hours. But if there's still no food on the table after 1.5 hours, then it's okay to be annoyed... without, of course, becoming abusive. Finally, at 7:40 p.m.... FOOD! Oh... the notice "We serve customers with children first" is beyond ridiculous! One burger, two schnitzels with egg and fried potatoes, and for me, according to the menu, "tender spare ribs with BBQ sauce, coleslaw salad, and French fries" for a mere €24.50. Honestly: completely overpriced! The tender spare ribs consisted of ten bones, which were more or less tasty; the rest wasn't even worth mentioning. The fries were beyond "crunchy" and the maybe 20 grams of coleslaw were the joke. In the photo, this generous side salad is next to the fries in a kind of espresso cup, which was just half-filled with coleslaw. Even an amuse-bouche would have weighed more. In short: completely overpriced, because too small, "economy" ribs with traces of coleslaw and soggy fries. And you pay an extra euro for this small portion of mayo. But I have to get back to the service now, because that, at least, was remarkably good. In total, we saw three waiters and three cooks (or kitchen assistants), which inevitably led to a time chaos. After an hour, we were fobbed off with the message, "Your food is next," which, of course, wasn't true. After 90 minutes, I (jokingly) mentioned to a server that we only had 30 minutes left, but the food still wasn't there. "They would take care of it." A second waitress noticed this and came to our table to show genuine understanding, and we were rewarded for the wait after the meal. Ultimately, we could have had Kaiserschmarrn for four people, with a choice of coffee or a liqueur. Now that's what I call customer service! So... top-notch and friendly service... at least my spare ribs were a total disaster, both in terms of taste and price. Looking back, we've reviewed our meals two weeks later. If quality and price are interdependent—the better the quality, the higher the price—then you simply have to say: the price is simply too high for the quality of the four dishes. Soggy fried potatoes, almost burnt schnitzel, and a burger that was thrown together as unimaginatively as possible don't justify the prices on the menu. If quality and price are so far apart... we won't be returning.

The outside area is pretty cool, Children's playground etc. Service was friendly, and everything seemed to be very organized and everything came in a good time, drinks were ok, Food was quite good, although the salad tasted more like peppers and less like sauce or salt, steak and fried potatoes were great. The citizen tasted rubbery like fat and pickled cucumbers, the coleslaw doesn't work at all, it tastes very bought and sweet. Dessert is great even though it is very expensive. Locations very clean and odor free. Finally: Eaten and drank, now you want to pay, no one comes out...

Wer das Rustikale liebt, der ist hier gut aufgehoben. Bodenständige Küche (es hat allen gut geschmeckt), eine übersichtliche Speisekarte, für jeden etwas dabei und ein leckeres Essen in einer lockeren Athmosphäre. Nichts für einen Gourmet, aber wer Hausmannskost mag, der wird hier sehr zufrieden sein. Die Preise sind nicht abgehoben und animieren zum "Wiederkommen".

So we booked the grill buffet yesterday and it was a disgrace - one type of vegetable, two cold salads and the grilled chicken from outside wasn't cooked through. There were no chips or fried potatoes, which I find pretty cheeky considering the price is €24.50. Apart from the very friendly and courteous service, I can't recommend the Dorf Alm any more.

I'm a bit annoyed. We went to the grill buffet yesterday for 24 euros per person. Why are all four people annoyed? Because the grill buffet had absolutely no choice of meat. There was only chicken, a small spicy Krakauer sausage, a regular bratwurst, neck steak, a grilled potato and salads. To be honest, for 24 euros and when a grill buffet offers BBQ, I expect more choice. And we didn't like the food. The chicken wasn't cooked through and the neck steak was pretty tough. Well, we've been disappointed twice now and won't be back. But the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is nice.

Right next door is a large, modern indoor playground with everything a child's heart desires: a giant bouncy castle, many varied rides, and great play options for different age groups. For me, this is an all-around great place – I come here regularly and am always impressed. Highly recommended for families, gourmets, and anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxed meal while their children play safely and happily.

The food was, as always, delicious. The portions were very generous, and the ambiance is unique in this district. The only server in the restaurant made every effort to serve the guests promptly. I suspect it's due to the generally tense situation in the staffing market for restaurants that only one server was on site.

Located right next to a road, which I'm used to at other alpine huts, but sometimes it's just not possible. Nevertheless, it's very cozy, delicious, and the service is friendly. I highly recommend it, and we'll be back.

My girlfriend and I visited at 5 p.m. on a Sunday. You're shown to a seat from the entrance. The welcome was good, and our dog was also very welcome. The service team is young and energetic. They're always friendly and professionally trained. They cater to customer requests, and the food is served from the right place. The food was very good. There's a huge room for children with lots of play equipment. I highly recommend this dining experience and would gladly return.

Three of us really enjoyed the food...the fourth wasn't quite as impressed, but the portions were very generous and the service staff was super friendly. I visited the Dorfalm for the first time today and was very disappointed. I don't eat meat, but they don't have any really good vegetarian dishes. I chose asparagus and potatoes; 2 out of 5 asparagus stalks were woody, and the potatoes tasted a bit odd. Personally, I find the tables very close together, which is a bit tiring, but maybe not so bad for others. The service staff are attentive and friendly. All in all, I wouldn't go back to this restaurant; there are definitely better quality options in Lippstadt.

We were there today by bike. The service was very friendly and the food was good.

We met up with our relatives there for our 40th birthday party. The lunchtime service, consisting of two people, made a genuine effort to accommodate everyone and everything. The meal for 44 adults and 11 children was delicious. We can highly recommend the restaurant for larger groups. The play barn is particularly worth mentioning; it's a dream for children to play in. This also gave the parents a little space to chat with the others. Many thanks to the entire team, and especially Ms. Bracht. We'd love to come back!

A very nice, cozy restaurant. The ambience is very well-thought-out and inviting. The service is very friendly. For families with children (from 1.5-2 years old), there's a great highlight: an indoor and outdoor playground. The food tastes very good. However, it only gets 4 stars because there isn't much choice and some of the dishes aren't cooked perfectly. On my last visit, I had a salad with green asparagus "Asparagus meets Burrata" from the seasonal menu and was somewhat disappointed. The portion was quite large, but... The asparagus was overcooked and unfortunately tasted of nothing. I had hoped for more of the burrata (there was maybe 1/4 of the portion on the large plate), and the potato vinaigrette was unfortunately underseasoned. Overall, a delicious idea that unfortunately didn't work out. But we'll definitely be back.

Hello, Unfortunately, the staff were dressed a bit sloppily: their polo shirts were fully unbuttoned and their white shoes were dirty. There was sticky dirt under my wife's chair. The railing to the restrooms on the upper floor was a bit sticky. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The wait time for the food to arrive was 45 minutes. The food was OK, but the price was too high.
