Döner UNI Pizza in Düsseldorf

Everything here is delicious. There's just one drawback: the guy really needs to learn how to roll yufka, so please do. It's quite uncomfortable to eat this way because both ends of the yufka stay open. When you're almost at the end of the wrap, all the filling spills out. This has happened to me three or four times already, and each time both my clothes and my boyfriend's got dirty. I only ever experience this here. That's why I now order my doner either as a flatbread or on a plate. But yes, because everything tastes so good, I'll gladly come back.

This place is amazing. I'm in town temporarily for work and have been on the hunt for quality local places to eat. Doner UNI Pizza doesn't disappoint! Very friendly staff, incredible pizza....what else do you want? Will be back for another pie before I head home! 🍕

I visited Dönner Uni Pizza in Bilk (Düsseldorf, very close to the university hospital) and was absolutely thrilled! The restaurant may be small, but it's very cozy and clean. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating – you immediately feel welcome. The food is truly delicious, freshly prepared, and very reasonably priced. Drinks are also reasonably priced, making it a great value for money. As a special highlight, I even received a small gift – a really nice gesture! I can recommend Dönner Uni Pizza to anyone who's nearby and wants good food in a friendly atmosphere.

I've ordered several times via Uber Eats, and again today... Now for my review: The kebab is really great, I always order the doner meat separately, it's simply delicious. (I can only rate the lamb here, as I don't eat anything else on my kebab.) The lamacun is also great, fluffy dough, very well-filled... I've tried it with salad or as a special, both absolutely topped! So if I ever have a kebab, it's from here! Keep it up!🫶

A super-solid kebab at a very good price. And the pizza is also delicious. You walk in and are always greeted with a smile, and the shop has a typically cozy feel. During the day, many people from the university hospital also come here, which makes the shop even more lively.

I called the establishment and before they hung up, I could tell they were laughing at me. Such disrespect is honestly really ugly... I was going to be a customer, but I never will after this call. If they were more polite on the phone, maybe they wouldn't lose so much.

Ordering was a pain and took some getting used to; it certainly wasn't normal behavior on the part of the employee. He chattered on and on, even though I said I was exhausted from work and just wanted to eat in peace. Distracted by his chatter, he took the wrong order and then "generously" offered a one-euro discount. Wow. The meat was okay, but nothing more; there were several pieces of cartilage in the chicken. The salad was fresh and the sauces were good. However, the employee's rambling significantly spoiled the enjoyment of the meal. You should respect your customers, especially when you say you just want to eat in peace. Next time, go somewhere else.

The doner kebab was awful. The meat was far too tough, and so was the bread. Furthermore, the doner kebab wasn't tasty and was way too fatty. I immediately got a stomach ache and didn't feel well. I wouldn't recommend this kind of kebab to anyone. It's pure poisoning!

Unfortunately, I have to say we had a really bad experience. Yesterday, we got one doner kebab, one doner kebab plate, one portion of chicken, and a Turkish pizza with salad. I have to say, for the chicken, it was a really tiny portion for €7, and it was completely dry and almost burnt. The other three dishes had this cocktail sauce and the tangy sauce, with the cocktail sauce tasting really strange. All three felt sick shortly afterward. They had stomach aches, and the two girls took turns using the bathroom. Today, they still have stomach pains and don't want to eat anything. Sorry, but never, never again. No recommendation from me.

From the outside, it doesn't look bad. The kebab itself isn't good, but it's not terrible either. 4/10. The kebab man mumbles a lot and somehow tried to sell me a set meal, so €7.50 for the kebab plus €5 for some fries. Personally, I don't think that's a good deal. I wouldn't go there again.

I relied on the numerous positive reviews and ordered two doner kebab plates from Döner UNI Pizza for the first time. Unfortunately, I was disappointed: The veal had a tough, almost burnt texture and was anything but juicy or tender. The sauces tasted artificial and lacked freshness. Furthermore, my order was delivered without cutlery, which is a real annoyance for a dish like the doner kebab plate. Overall, it wasn't a convincing experience. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

The owner, Mr. Metin, is a very attentive, genuine, and hospitable man. His döner kebabs are delicious and filling. It's a clean, cute place. I definitely recommend going. Falafel, pizza, meatballs, stews—you name it. They have everything you're looking for.

I was in Düsseldorf with my family this afternoon for a doctor's appointment, and after the appointment, we were hungry and wanted something to eat. After the appointment, we looked for somewhere to eat and decided on a doner kebab with pizza. We then ordered four doner kebabs. The preparation was pretty quick, but I wouldn't recommend the place. Not because the doner meat was still raw and had a strange consistency. The meat was very gristly, and the doner sauce had gone off.

Great lunch spot close to the HHU campus, it is right across the street. The guys behind the counter are friendly and like to engage with the customers. They also have large quantities for cheap prices, if you are looking for an affordable bite. When I visited last year, doner was about 6 euros. Wait times can become significant if there are a lot of people in the store, and there is little seating space indoors. They have an outdoor area, however. Note that they have a credit card minimum. I don't remember the exact amount but it might have been 13 euros.

I was there yesterday and ate a Dürüm. Unfortunately, a few hours later, I felt extremely ill – I vomited over 20 times. I've never experienced anything like that before. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

I have rarely had such a good kebab! The bread was great, I still dream about the meat today: cooked to perfection and grilled until crispy. The salad was fresh, tasty tomatoes and cucumbers, the portion was reasonably LARGE - and all for 7 euros. The staff was very friendly - I would be happy to come back when I get the chance and am already looking forward to the next visit. Deserved 5 stars!

I can only recommend that they also have a changing daily menu that you can combine on site. After several hospital stays, our salvation.

Service is unfortunately very unfriendly, you ask how long it will take until the food is ready, the employee reacts disrespectfully and annoyed, speaks to his colleagues in his own language and imitates you. Practical if you speak the same language... The German customer in front of me was also secretly made fun of. I think it's childish and you can't seem to deal with stress there. Too bad.

Today we got 2 lahmaun without meat. We wanted little sauce. Unfortunately there was too much on it. The Lahmacun seemed to have been of the cheapest quality (convinience) and completely fell apart. For €6.50 we expect better quality.

The shop is small and cramped. The kebab is really good, so it's not a run-of-the-mill substitute without recognition value. However, it's not so good that you'd have to travel miles to get there. But what really makes the store unique are the incredibly friendly employees. Treat even non-regular customers like kings. Totally accommodating, almost warm. Rarely have I had such a lasting memory of such sensationally friendly staff. I'll give you a 20% tip just for being in a relaxed, good mood. Class!

I ordered from Lieferando and the driver probably simply canceled the order even though the food was already ready. The restaurant was understandably very upset about this and Lieferando refused to send a new driver. So the restaurant was kind enough to make me a new meal because the old one was already cold and bring it over to me even though they don't actually deliver. They also gave me something to apologize for, even though they couldn't do anything about it and ultimately made a loss. That was super nice! The kebab is also very tasty, one of the best I've eaten in Düsseldorf so far, and the fries were great too. Clear recommendation!

The price performance is not bad. They have different kebabs. But my favorite is Hensche kebab, complete with sauce and with salad just onion.

Current confirmation 22:37 ^^ that's really bad! Especially since no one called to let me know. This is really bad and not customer oriented. We are now waiting and will not order from you again. A pity Addendum: Someone called me after the review and couldn't understand why I only gave it one star. After all, it’s Lieferando’s fault and not her. The caller couldn't understand my anger and became abusive at times and ended the call by telling me not to order from them anymore.

Best kebab in Düsseldorf (so far). Pizza is decent and you are served like an old friend. The boys are great and always up for fun. Unfortunately, €7 for a kebab is a bit high. Otherwise, I can highly recommend UNI.
