Döner King in Göttingen

Wir sind extra für diesen Döner 100km gefahren und sind leider enttäuscht worden.. Vor paar Monaten war der Döner viel besser als wie gestern.. Dennoch sind die Mitarbeiter sehr nett, aber geschmacklich war das leider nichts mehr..

Leider war wieder kein Reis dabei. Sonst ist alles gut aber der Reis fehlt schon sehr.

Alle sind sehr sympathisch und nett das Essen schmeckt super gut und alles ist einfach perfekt

Top Essen schmeckt unglaublich gut. Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich mit einem schönen Lächeln. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall dahin zu gehen. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Ich habe hier im März 2026 einen Döner gegessen. Der Döner war superlecker. Er war mit Rucola und Balsamico-Essig garniert, und obwohl ich anfangs skeptisch war, hat er mir hervorragend geschmeckt. Auch die Bedienung war freundlich. Nur der Preis von 8 € erschien mir etwas hoch. Trotzdem kann ich ihn empfehlen.

Die 2 Sterne auch nur weil die ersten beiden Male OK waren. Aber heute war Katastrophe! "Fleisch" war nur fett und Knorpel. Für meine Gesundheit hab ich ihn nach der Hälfte weggeschmissen. Edit: Seitdem war es fast immer solide. 90% Chance auf soliden Döner. 10% Chance auf Lebensmittelvergiftung

Für viele der beste Döner auf der Döner-Meile. Es hat natürlich jeder so seine Vorlieben und unterschiedlichen Geschmäcker, aber ich glaube der Laden ist nicht umsonst immer gut besucht. Man kann drinnen und draußen auf ein paar wenigen Plätzen sitzen. Mehr Plätze wären schöner, aber ist halt nicht möglich, wenn sich Laden an Laden reiht und eine stark befahrene Straße und Fußgängerzone gleich nebenan sind. Mein Tipp: Probiert vor Ort unbedingt den Döner (Kalbfleisch und alles) mit Grenadinensirup und frisch gepresstem Zitronensaft. (Dann aber sofort essen, ansonsten kann ich mir vorstellen, dass der Döner durchgesuppt ist bis man zu Hause angekommen ist)

Eines der besseren, die ich in dieser Region gegessen habe, trotz der späten Stunde – 10/10. Sehr zu empfehlen und vielen Dank, meine Herren!!! 💪💪💪

Meiner Meinung nach ein sehr guter Döner den man bekommt. Ich esse hier gerne wenn ich in Göttingen bin und ist sogar mein Stamm Döner dort. Man kriegt den Döner schnell und er schmeckt auch noch gut. Sitzmöglichkeiten gibt es leider nicht viele aber das muss auch nicht sein. Insgesamt deswegen 4 Sterne, denn das Brot könnte noch etwas besser sein. Nachtrag: Inzwischen gibt es 5 Sterne von mir, weil der Döner sich verbessert hat und der Service wirklich top ist.

Bester Döner bei dem ich je war,bin des öfteren dort.Immer was los und super Essen.Nur sind die Räumlichkeiten etwas klein und es gibt nur wenige Sitzplätze.

Der Döner ist so gut, dass ich mich in einen Super-Saiyajin verwandle.

Super leckerer Döner, selten so gut gegessen, frisch und knackig, mit Rucola und knusprigem Fleisch einfach perfekt. Und die Jungs hinterm Tresen sind so freundlich, wir kommen gerne wieder

Nahtoderfahrung: Essen war gut, geschmacklich wie Größe Top. Jedoch kam das Problem ein wenig später. Nachdem noch 1-2 Weizen vernascht wurden und ich Ich bett lag und schön Träumte, Riss ich meine Augen aus dem Tiefschlaf in Fausgröße auf, in meiner Schnute waren bereits an die 1300 Bar oberflächendruck. Durch eine stark trainierte Lippenpartie konnte ich dieses Ungetüm an erbrochenem zurückhalten. Im Dunkeln tastete ich mich durch die Wohnung eines Freundes (war vorher noch nie hier) und suchte die erlösende Schale mein 15kg Mundgepäck loszuwerden. Nachdem dies geschah musste ich ein 2. Mal los und dachte mein eigener Würgereiz würde mich umbringen wollen. Nachdem das aber erledigt war ging es wieder einigermaßen. Ich war nun einen döner, 3 weizen und ein paar ml Blut (wo das auch immer herkam...aufjedenfall aus meinem Mund) leichter. Also longstory Short; irgendwas war mit dem Döner so garnicht richtig. Würde ihn aber wieder essen hat echt gut geschmeckt. Ahoi und LG

Hänchen Döner Dürüm war es fleisch war gut Rucola hat es noch mal aufgerundet, doch wenn Sie Ihr eigenes Dürüm Brot machen würden wäre es mindestens 8/10

Solider Döner - kann den Hähnchen Kebab wirklich empfehlen, schön knusprig. Saucen auch sehr lecker!

I got the Kebabtasche for 6.00€, and it was amazing! It was huge, and every bite uncovered a new layer of goodness, from the beautifully seasoned fresh vegetables at the front to the generously sauced meat at the back. With the cola, my total was 9.50€. I appreciated that the store had hand sanitizer, napkins, and face wipes at the counter, as I surely needed them after my kebab haha. Will come again for sure!

I ordered kebabs and pizza. Everything was made with love and, of course, tasted amazing. Unfortunately, card payments weren't possible, but the nearest ATM was only a few minutes away. It's always busy, but you get your food quickly.

It can be incredibly delicious, but if the kebab isn't exactly fresh and crispy because it's busy, then it's nothing special. Then even the meat tastes a bit unpleasant to me, as if it's undercooked.

One of my favorite Döner shops in Göttingen. And I would know, I've been to every one in the inner city! It's funny all the reactions I get when I ask for my Döner Tasche to be extra spicy. Not the cheapest, but definitely one of the tastiest.

The taste is quite good, but if they intentionally give less change, that's just plain cheeky. The change on the counter says €5.20, but I was 30 cents short. I won't be going here again.

Mashallah, what a great kebab! Nice guys will prepare you an excellent rotisserie dish or pizza, etc. Ate here twice in one evening because it was simply outstanding. One of the best kebabs I have eaten in Germany - Hamdulillah.

Doner King has unfortunately switched to layer meat, which in theory is better quality than minced meat but calf is simply not suitable for a kebab skewer in slices. You then have everything from half-rare to way too well done in your kebab. I also bothers that I can not simply order and take a kebab here, I have to unsubscribe 4-5 ingredients, just to get a normal kebab here and if you are not careful or don't react quickly enough, you have pomegranate syrup, lemon and some Powder on the kebab. That's just annoying.

Falafel box tasted good, I can recommend it. Unfortunately, there are still plastic cutlery 😖

Doner King and Crunchy Doner are the best in Göttingen! Different level... - Pickled white cabbage - perfect Pomegranate syrup - Perfect Lemon - Perfect Delicious meat, fresh ingredients - perfect. My recommendation - mixed meat, white cabbage, lemon, pomegranate syrup, sheep's cheese - ready.

Disgusting, inedible "veal" meat. I think it was undercooked and tasted suspiciously like gyros. €7.50 for the bin. Eating caused nausea. Never again.

Great kebab snack! Prices are low, kebab meat is of great quality and the vegetables are also fresh.

The people are not that nice, rather they are very taciturn and a bit impatient. I find the ambience quite stylish with all the black, and there is relaxed seating outside. I've actually always liked the food, but there have been a few times now where I've grabbed a Dürem and spent the whole night on the toilet. That really scares me.

Relatively good kebab, but incredibly disorganized there! Eternal waiting times of 25 minutes. for a kebab bag. Not structured, there are four people standing around in the store and no one knows exactly what their job is and everyone just messes everything up. It's amazing that the order actually comes out in the end.
