The best kebab in all of Göttingen No kidding!!!!

I got the Kebabtasche for 6.00€, and it was amazing! It was huge, and every bite uncovered a new layer of goodness, from the beautifully seasoned fresh vegetables at the front to the generously sauced meat at the back. With the cola, my total was 9.50€. I appreciated that the store had hand sanitizer, napkins, and face wipes at the counter, as I surely needed them after my kebab haha. Will come again for sure!

I ordered kebabs and pizza. Everything was made with love and, of course, tasted amazing. Unfortunately, card payments weren't possible, but the nearest ATM was only a few minutes away. It's always busy, but you get your food quickly.

It can be incredibly delicious, but if the kebab isn't exactly fresh and crispy because it's busy, then it's nothing special. Then even the meat tastes a bit unpleasant to me, as if it's undercooked.

One of my favorite Döner shops in Göttingen. And I would know, I've been to every one in the inner city! It's funny all the reactions I get when I ask for my Döner Tasche to be extra spicy. Not the cheapest, but definitely one of the tastiest.

The taste is quite good, but if they intentionally give less change, that's just plain cheeky. The change on the counter says €5.20, but I was 30 cents short. I won't be going here again.

Mashallah, what a great kebab! Nice guys will prepare you an excellent rotisserie dish or pizza, etc. Ate here twice in one evening because it was simply outstanding. One of the best kebabs I have eaten in Germany - Hamdulillah.

2 kebabs to take away please. What makes this kebab taste good is the freshness of the salad and the matching topping. Service is also very friendly :) Clear recommendation. Next time we're in the area, we'll go to Döner King again!

In my opinion it's a very good kebab you can get. I like to eat here when I'm in Göttingen and my favorite kebab dish is even there. You get the kebab quickly and it tastes good too. Unfortunately there aren't many seating options but that doesn't have to be the case. Overall 4 stars because the bread could be a little better.

Doner King has unfortunately switched to layer meat, which in theory is better quality than minced meat but calf is simply not suitable for a kebab skewer in slices. You then have everything from half-rare to way too well done in your kebab. I also bothers that I can not simply order and take a kebab here, I have to unsubscribe 4-5 ingredients, just to get a normal kebab here and if you are not careful or don't react quickly enough, you have pomegranate syrup, lemon and some Powder on the kebab. That's just annoying.

Disgusting, inedible "veal" meat. I think it was undercooked and tasted suspiciously like gyros. €7.50 for the bin. Eating caused nausea. Never again.

Great kebab snack! Prices are low, kebab meat is of great quality and the vegetables are also fresh.

The people are not that nice, rather they are very taciturn and a bit impatient. I find the ambience quite stylish with all the black, and there is relaxed seating outside. I've actually always liked the food, but there have been a few times now where I've grabbed a Dürem and spent the whole night on the toilet. That really scares me.

Relatively good kebab, but incredibly disorganized there! Eternal waiting times of 25 minutes. for a kebab bag. Not structured, there are four people standing around in the store and no one knows exactly what their job is and everyone just messes everything up. It's amazing that the order actually comes out in the end.

Fries were really tasty and the portion size was good. But mayo/ketchup is only available in small sachets - unfortunately that's not enough for the fries and is unnecessary rubbish. Unfortunately the fries only come in a plastic box :( This can be done better!

When I first walked into the little kebab shop on the corner, I was honestly a little skeptical. The store was nondescript and I wasn't expecting much. The decor was simple, almost a little dated, and the menu offered the usual suspects without much fanfare. But when I ordered my kebab, the friendly owner recommended that I try the house specialty: kebab with pomegranate sauce. I hesitantly agreed, not sure what to expect. What came next was a revelation. The kebab was perfectly prepared - the meat juicy and aromatic, freshly cut from the spit, surrounded by freshly baked bread, crisp salad and carefully selected side dishes. But unexpectedly, the real star was the pomegranate sauce. This sauce was to die for – a perfect balance of sweet and savory, with a hint of exoticism that I had never experienced before. It added extraordinary depth to every bite, turning an ordinary kebab into a culinary masterpiece. I never thought I would find something like this in such an unassuming shop, but I was proven wrong. It was, without exaggeration, the best kebab of my life. This shop and its pomegranate sauce is a hidden gem that I would recommend to anyone looking for an exceptional taste experience. Only a few seating options but enough for a snack. We were there at 4 at night. I ordered a Veggie Dürüm, certain vegetables were empty so I got a drink with it 👍. Always friendly and quick to work. They really work there. And above all, always delicious.

Well filled 50/50 meat & rocket etc. delicious curry sauce with lemon and pomegranate. Something completely different and a culinary delight. Staff very friendly! Apparently the boss gave my kids a capri sun as a gift - it was a nice gesture! It was delicious! I'll be back…

Hier ist nicht nur der Doener King! Die 10 Jahre die ich in Goettingen lebte, war der Doener King mein Stammdoener.

Mag ja sein, dass das Personal freundlich ist... aber dieses Geld für einen Döner, auf dem ich mit der Lupe nach Fleisch suchen muss, ist lächerlich. Das was an dem mickrigen Teil dran war hat wohl geschmeckt, aber diese 5 Brocken Fleisch, der Löffel Soße und das bisschen (leider bitterer) Salat sind ihr Geld nicht wert... in den unteren 5cm von dem Dürüm waren mehr Teigschichten aufeinander als alles andere. Da fahre ich lieber weiter und bekomme dafür auch tatsächlich ein Abendessen statt eines Snacks.

Habe eine Dönerbox und einen Döner bestellt preise sind okay der döner war eigentlich ganz gut mittelklasse nur zu wenig sauce darauf. Aber die dönerbox größter Reinfall pommes nicht ganz durch falsches Fleisch nur ein kleiner Klecks sauce also von der rate ich ab, habe noch nie so eine schlechte gegessen aber personal war gut gelaunt auch wenn ganz okay was los war

Bester Döner den ich je gegessen habe. Immer wenn ich in Göttingen bin muss ich da essen gehen. Das Essen ist günstig frisch und schmeckt einfach nur wahnsinnig gut. Es wird sogar etwas Zitrone draufgeträufelt. Die Mitarbeiter sind stets freundlich auch wenn mal etwas mehr los ist.
