“Kebab 2.0” Bismarckstrasse 92, Remscheid Tel.: 02191-8907822 Some of my friends in the restaurant and gastro scene have already advised me to be careful and sensitive when saying, “This is the best thing I’ve ever eaten.” Only this time I say it and with conviction: “Today I ate the best kebab of my life!” A report by Andreas Dach (I have respected this man as Remscheid's sports editor for many years!) in a Remscheid newspaper made me curious and so I decided to go to Remscheid on Friday afternoon and try it out. As soon as you enter (I was the first guest at 12 p.m.) you feel at home - the friendliness of Ali Besikkaya, the invitingly clean restaurant and the appetizing counter. During the conversation, Ali told me his philosophy, explained to me the home-baked bread, cuts it open and proudly (and rightly) shows the “inner workings” of his kebab bread. These are always freshly toasted when ordered. We were already talking to each other when he asked me: “Would you like this or that sauce, would you like garlic, would you like it spicy?” Of course we also came up with my/our “snacking career” in ours ABC Grill time and when I told him that during this time (1971-1986) we built up great contacts with our Turkish friends and that we still get cards from Izmir, Ankara and Istanbul for Christmas - yes, we were reminiscing... Dear Ali, it was great and I wish you all the best and that your business always runs as well as before!!!

That used to be the best kebab in Remscheid. I am a regular customer at Döner 2.0. Unfortunately, it has happened more often recently that people are saving on meat. You put as little meat in the bread as possible. I thought I was eating a salad bag and not a kebab bag. Very, very unfortunate

I am absolutely disappointed with Döner 2.0 and will definitely not order here again! I ordered three kebabs by phone an hour in advance - two complete, one without sauce but with spicy - and specifically stated that I would pick up the order at 6:20 p.m. When I arrived at the store promptly at 6:20 p.m., the kebabs weren't ready. Even worse: it wasn't until 6:25 p.m. that I was even asked what I wanted. After I pointed out that I had already pre-ordered, I only got a half-hearted "Yeah, okay, let's do it now." Means: My order was only started at that moment, even though I had ordered early. But that wasn't enough: When I finally got the kebabs, they were prepared completely incorrectly. Instead of two complete and one without sauce, with spicy, I got three identical kebabs - all with sauce and without taking my wishes into account. An absolute disgrace! And the taste? Underground! The kebab was soggy, soggy and had nothing to do with a fresh, delicious kebab. If I had wanted something like that, I would have gotten a ready-made snack kebab from the supermarket. Time not met, order taken incorrectly, quality poor – that was my first and definitely last visit to Döner 2.0. If you value good service and decent food, you should give this a wide berth!

I had to visit this store. Just because of the good reviews. I ordered a kebab plate, including fried vegetables. The kebab was very well seasoned. The kebab, the fries and the vegetables tasted excellent. The kebab plate was actually a kebab pan. The service here is different. I liked that too. Staff nice and accommodating. The location is modern, but unfortunately a bit too small. I will definitely visit Döner 2.0 again, even if I'm not from Remscheid.

The best kebab in Remscheid with the smallest shop. You urgently need a location 2.0. Unfortunately, I don't like coming to you anymore because the waiting times and the crowds are really annoying! The staff is really great and gives their all, but waiting times of 45 minutes are not uncommon. I would also like to sit down and relax and enjoy my meal. This makes a huge difference in taste and shows how much emphasis is placed on quality. The kebab itself was simply great - how could it be otherwise when all the ingredients are so fresh and high quality? But that wasn't all: the employees there are incredibly friendly and really take their time with their customers. I easily spent half an hour talking to one of the colleagues who explained to me in detail how everything is made in the store.
