Like any other Italian takeaway. The prices are too high for the quality. The boss seemed arrogant, capable of everything and only nagging. I definitely don't want to work there. Everyone can't do anything, only he can do what he thinks, I think.

This was our first time at this Italian restaurant, having walked past it several times and always thought that we had to try this restaurant (which is always busy). It was worth it. The ambience is very nice, a little darker than many other Italian restaurants, but also a nicer atmosphere. We really liked it. The staff incredibly attentive and friendly. For example, they took into account the fact that we couldn't spend as much time there because we still had tickets for the cinema afterwards. The selection of Italian dishes is large. The drinks menu is also okay. We decided on the evening menu and were very pleasantly surprised. The price-performance ratio for 3 courses with fish/meat in the main course was top. Fish (zander) and meat (beef) were very tender and tasty, the starters were delicious and the tiramisu for dessert was also fantastic. Only the rosé we (!) selected wasn't that convincing. All in all, a great experience - we'll be back (with a little more time).

The food was good, but not outstanding. However, the waiting time was far too long - especially for pasta dishes. When we finally got our main course, the restaurant was no longer particularly busy, so the long wait was even more incomprehensible. The handling of my voucher was particularly disappointing. I was told that a receipt was required, even though it doesn't say anything about it on the voucher itself. Other restaurants do not require a receipt because the stamp/signature and voucher number are available. Well, then that's just the way it is there. Since it was a large sum, it was more than annoying. In addition, I was overcharged for a water bottle and a soft drink - my own mistake because I didn't check the bill immediately - but in the situation I was perplexed by the voucher issue and didn't pay attention to it. What particularly bothered me: Given the long waiting time or the inconvenience with the voucher, they could have at least been accommodated in some way - but that didn't happen. Conclusion: The food was okay, but the price-performance ratio wasn't right. The long waiting time, the handling of the voucher and the lack of accommodation make it not worth coming here again for me.

A wonderful Italian restaurant with very good food and nice, polite service. However, during the last few visits we noticed that people tend to act very business-like when placing the order. An expensive wine is suggested to you or a second starter is advertised in such a way that you are inclined to order it. You shouldn't go too far, because otherwise this restaurant is really, really good.

I've been to Don Sancillo twice in the last few weeks. In the evening the service was ok, at lunchtime it was borderline and excessive. The dishes were tasty, the portions were small. I didn't feel well.

Very attentive and friendly staff. Absolutely excellent starters. The pizza, which was very good in terms of taste, was only warm, not hot from the oven, hence only four stars. The lighting could be a bit brighter in this actually pretty nice room, which helps when reading the menu. But overall a good restaurant.

A great restaurant! We love going there to enjoy the delicious food and the pleasant atmosphere. The service is extremely friendly. We have been more than satisfied every time so far.

The starters were perfect, the main course almost exceeded this. Ultimately, the Pistachio Tartufo completed the culinary journey. By the way, the Lugana is awesome. All in all, a very nice evening with excellent hosts. We'll be back, no question.

That was a lovely evening: very friendly service, typical Italian menu. Melazane alla parmigiana was very good as a starter, as was the Venetian-style veal liver. Overall, I found the price/performance ratio surprisingly good. The wine is also fairly priced. Gladly again if you don't need the epicenter Media Harbor and Lorettostrasse, which are now quite overpriced, and just want to go out for a good Italian meal.

It was very tasty! Especially the stuffed pasta with porcini mushrooms with truffle sauce is highly recommended. Espresso martini also very good.

One of the best restaurants I've been to, I now come every other week and they have fabulous pizza and the tastiest pasta I've ever eaten. The manager is a nice Italian who takes good care of the gesture.

Don Sancillo offers authentic Italian cuisine at a very reasonable price for the location. Changing daily and lunch specials complement the already extensive selection of dishes that are freshly prepared and tasty. Whenever I have work to do nearby, I take a detour here and have a good time.

I was sold a bottle of wine three times on my third visit and it was always a cheap house wine. I'm pissed once, ok, sometimes funny, but the third time I can't even remember my face. It's a shame. Cheater.. .. Just like the cafe... Don't go there!!!! Cheater.

I find the man with glaze and a beard the best and friendliest. He is the boss of the house and brings out the best food in my opinion, I really taste Italian food. And I haven't found that in anyone in Düsseldorf.

Leider war der Abend eine einzige Enttäuschung das Essen wurde drei mal bestellt und eins von beiden war dann das falsche und das alles hat 1 + 1/2 Stunde gedauert :-) die getränke mussten auch mehrfach bestellt werden leider ist der Service grottenschlecht diese Trattoria hat die besten zeiten hinter sich :::

Durch Zufall fanden wir, 5 hungrige Männer dieses kleine, sehr schön eingerichtete Restaurant. Der Service war schnell und freundlich. Die Pizza gut belegt und der Teig sehr kross Gebacken. Alle waren sehr zufrieden und kommen wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr guter, aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Das Essen war sehr gut, die Speisekarte originell wenn auch zum Teil sehr schwer zu lesen. Ambiente ist sehr schön, aber wenn man am Fenster sitzt aktuell doch sehr zugig.

Wir waren gestern Abend zu dritt das erste Mal im Don Sancillo und waren absolut positiv überrascht! Tolles Ambiente, sehr nette und aufmerksame Bedienung, und das Essen war der Hammer! Wir hatten jeweils zweimal Pizza und ein Nudelgericht mit Fleisch. Die Pizzen waren perfekt, besser geht nicht, mit frischen Zutaten und einem krossen Teig. Die Nudeln vom Pastagericht waren aldente, also genau richtig und das Fleisch war butterzart. Das Pastagericht hat mega lecker geschmeckt! Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch! Ci vediamo!

Top Essensservice und Ambiente. Wirklich aufmerksamer Service, sodass man sich willkommen fühlt. Das Essen war einzigartig, es war uns ein Genuss. Der Fisch war super frisch und ganz toll zubereitet, sowie die Pasta. Qualität einfach großartig. Weinauswahl und Weinempfehlung war top! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Ich habe in Düsseldorf bereits einige Locations kennengelernt, allerdings selten einen Service wie diesen erleben dürfen. Speisen waren super, Service grandios! Meine beste Empfehlung für einen entspannten Abend am Rheinufer.

Klar strukturiert. Die Tische auf Linie, das Essen unkompliziert, gut, schnell. Der Wein am Nebentisch, klar wie Wasser, er verdient den fünften Stern. Die Pizza hält mehr als der Name Pizza verspricht. Ein bisschen Rossini, versagt, den ersten Blick. Kein Film. Kein Teppich. Seriös.

Wir hatten für 15 Leute reserviert. Als wir dort waren war anscheinend nur für 14 Leute reserviert, obwohl wir nochmal angerufen hatten. Nachdem wir eine dreiviertelstunde auf unser essen gewartet haben, wurde die bestellung von drei Leuten vergessen. Die Pasta Pesto war einfach nur Bitter. Auf der Pizza Tonno waren mehr Zwiebeln als überhaupt Pizza. Als wir zahlen wollten sollte danach auch noch jeder von uns eine Vorspeise für 13,90€ zahlen obwohl nur einer eine Vorspeise wollte. Ein großes Wasser kostet 10€. Das Restaurant ist nicht nur überteuert, lange wartezeiten, schlechtes essen sondern auch noch einen unfreundlichen Chef. Die schlechteste Erfahrung die ich jemals in einem Restaurant. Ich hätte sogar eigentlich garkeinen stern gegeben. Schwach.

wir wurden herzlich empfangen und sehr nette Bedienung. Für jeden ist was leckeres dabei.

Leider war der Service eine einzige Katastrophe. Nicht nur das, bei der Rechnung wurde versucht zu betrügen- um sage und schreibe 27 €. Es wurden nicht verkonsumierte Getränke - Wein und Wasser - einfach dazu gebucht. Unerhört ! Nie wieder ! Schön aufpassen ! Und Trinkgeld gebe ich dem Kellner und nicht er sich selbst.

Unter der Woche - Mittwoch - gut besucht ( gutes Publikum ), aber nicht überfüllt. Service sehr zuvorkommend, schnell, aufmerksam, Speisen 1a +. Also : hingehen!!

Wir saßen draußen. Da das Restaurant an einer stark befahrene Straße liegt,ist die 'Gemütlichkeit' eher sekundär. Aber trotzdem haben wir gur gesessen. Die Speisen waren hervorragend. Der Service zwar schnell, aber sehr Wort karg, bzw. leicht arrogant. Mit Frauen, also mit mir, hat der Servicemensch nicht gesprochen und sehr gering beachtet. Schade. Im Großen und Ganzen gut. Preise leicht überzogen, bzw einfach Düsseldorf.

Bester Italiener in Düsseldorf mehr kann man dazu nicht sagen !

Mit Abstand die beste Pizza in Düsseldorf. Auch der Rest der Karte sehr zu empfehlen ob Steak oder Nudel Gerichte hier stimmt alles! Sehr netter und aufmerksamer Service. Sind immer sehr gerne hier.

Essen versalzen, Nudeln viel zu "al dente", Service vergisst alles und muss dreimal angesprochen werden. Als Wiedergutmachung ein Dessert mit drei Löffeln... für Leute (beim Geschäftsessen), die nicht unbedingt aus einem Topf essen wollen. Katastrophe und dafür viel zu teuer!

Unglaublich schlechter Service. Jede Bestellung musst mindestens 2 Mal aufgegeben werden, verschiedene Bestellungen wurden vergessen und dann kamen total versalzene, nahezu rohe Nudeln. Nach der Beschwerde kam ein kleines Töpfchen Mousse für 3. Wer will denn mit völlig fremden Menschen aus einem Napf essen?

Die beiden Kellner sind wahre Helden! Trotz vollem Lokal und sehr viel Arbeit immer freundlich und souverän! Hut ab!!

Sehr unfreundlich, Nicht aussprechen lassen als man nach einem Tisch fragen wollte . Haben entsprechend den Ort verlassen. Von dem was man sehen konnte schien es dort vom Ambiente recht nett.

Sehr unhöflich, nur auf Anfrage haben wir Besteck erhalten. Die Getränke wurden in Dosen und Flaschen serviert. Wir mussten knapp eine Stunde auf unser Essen warten. Die Portionen waren übersichtlich. Geschmacklich okay. Die Toiletten sind sehr dreckig! Wir wurden dann mit 9 Personen direkt nach dem Essen aus dem Lokal komplimentiert! Versuchen beim Abkassieren zu bescheissen!!! Nie wieder!
