We were there today. The restaurant not only impresses with its excellent food, but the staff is also very, very friendly. Everything is very clean and nicely decorated. We'd love to come back again. 😇😇😇😇😇

Delicious food, friendly service in the heart of Koserow!

Very pleasant atmosphere, good food and friendly staff.

Unfortunately, we waited almost an hour for our food. And then it was barely edible... the beef steak was more than medium-rare, the fish soup was completely unappealing, and the baked potato was rancid. A real shame. The service was really nice, but unfortunately, they couldn't make up for the food...

I ate here with my family yesterday, and I was very satisfied. The food was delicious, and the service was really friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back.

I have to say, two adults and two children paid a good €150. That was enough for the evening. We all had four starters, three main courses, and I had various tapas. The chili sauce with the chicken wings isn't my thing. But everyone has different opinions. The service could be improved in a few small ways; we personally informed the owners. The food has good potential and could be improved with small improvements. Then it's 5 stars.

The price-performance ratio was very disappointing. You get very little for your money. The food tasted okay.

Located right on the main street, we visited this restaurant. It was the only one open until 10 p.m. It was advertised as a tapas bar, but unfortunately, that's not the case, as the menu hardly offers any Spanish tapas. So we opted for a pizza and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. This restaurant also scores highly in terms of price. The service was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was also very nice. As I said, perhaps they should change the name of the restaurant; then more people would definitely write more positive reviews about it. If we're ever in Koserow again, we'd love to eat another pizza here.

We went to this restaurant and ordered a breaded schnitzel, the worst I've ever eaten in my life, not to mention the rest, which was tasteless. They should serve Indian cuisine, since they're neither Spanish nor Italian.

We were there on our last night before our departure, unfortunately. If we'd known how great this restaurant was, we would have gone there alone. The staff is very friendly. The food was ready super quickly and was incredibly delicious. For starters, we had tomatoes with buffalo mozzarella and carpaccio. For main courses, we had steak, schnitzel, Don Diego pizza, and paella. We would go back anytime 😀

The value for money is excellent, the food is delicious, the service is attentive and friendly, the restrooms are very clean, and there's Wi-Fi. The outdoor area can be sheltered from the wind if needed, and blankets are provided at every table for cooler evenings. We'd love to come back.

The food is really nothing special. The schnitzel came without any sauce and was far too dry. I ordered a large tapas plate for €30. All I got were a few bowls of appetizer. I was very disappointed.

Unfortunately, the warm tapas weren't nearly worth the price. The amount served was ridiculous, and unfortunately, the flavor still had a lot of potential. Service was rushed and uncoordinated.

All we can say is that it was delicious. The service was good; the pizza for the five of us was ready pretty quickly, and the guys were always friendly. I also really liked the atmosphere inside. We'll definitely be going back for a second visit.

We ate at Don Diego and, guided by the name, ordered a variety of Spanish tapas and a paella. The staff was friendly. We had a pleasant seat. However, the food had absolutely nothing to do with Spanish cuisine. So, if you're looking for tapas and the like, this tapas bar is definitely not the place for you. We can't comment on the pizza, pasta, burritos, or any other cuisines from around the world they offer.

I wanted to enjoy a drink at the bar. The bartender said he was sick. Unfortunately, I moved on to the next bar, where I had a first-class drink and service.

The service was very friendly, especially to my son. His request was taken into account and served quite quickly. The food itself was very tasty and plentiful.

The service was excellent, we didn't have to wait long, and the food was varied and truly delicious. I had spaghetti carbonara (I highly recommend it), and the carbonara was a real carbonara, not just a cream sauce with a bit of ham. The prices are quite reasonable, as the portions are definitely filling, and we received a warm welcome from the start. The Italian food tasted better than in most Italian restaurants, even though it is a Spanish restaurant. It was definitely a great stay, and we will definitely come back. I highly recommend it.

The waiters there were very friendly and attentive. Our starter arrived very quickly, as did the main course...I was initially delivered the wrong pizza, but that wasn't a big deal, as after a brief communication, a replacement arrived within five minutes. The food also scored well in terms of taste and value for money.

We ate at this restaurant on our vacation. It was a Mexican dish; unfortunately, I can't remember the name. The outside was doughy and undercooked, but the filling was tasty. It came with potato wedges (I assume they were store-bought), and the small amount of salad had no salad dressing at all! Overall, the dish could have been better. They need to cook with more love and passion...

The three of us ate there, and all the pizzas were really delicious and large. The price was really good; the bruschetta was a bit too oily, but the service was very good and everyone was very friendly. We'd be happy to go back.

We ordered a takeaway pizza from the restaurant today. The pizza was delicious, but the service was a complete disaster. They opened 10 minutes late, and when we asked how much time we should allow because we had two children waiting for their pizza at home, they said 15-20 minutes. After that, we didn't see anyone else; other customers left because, after waiting several minutes, no one even came to take our drink orders. After a total of 40 minutes, we went looking for a member of staff and were then told to wait another 5 minutes. After a total of 50 minutes, we finally received our 4 pizzas. We were the first customers, so there wasn't a huge rush for orders. When I checked my order, I realized that it didn't contain the extra sides I wanted, but I was tired of waiting again.

If you prefer to pay in cash on vacation, this is the perfect restaurant.

We visited this restaurant yesterday and today and were greeted very warmly, even though we hadn't been there before. My wife arrived in her electric wheelchair, and the battery was a bit low, so we were able to charge it without any problems. 😁 The only small problem is that there is no accessible toilet. However, there is a clean public accessible toilet across the street that costs 20 cents to use, which the staff pointed out to us. Yesterday we had a tuna pizza, salami, spaghetti with garlic, olive oil, beef fillet steak, and a small salad plate with excellent dressing. 😋

I was really looking forward to the warm tapas. The taste was good, but the quantity was disappointing. I had the Mettkloesschen (meat dumplings) in sauce, three small dumplings cost €6.50. Three dates wrapped in bacon cost €5.00. And the best part was the mushrooms in sherry sauce. Two slightly larger mushrooms, sliced, cost €4.90. I know tapas are expensive, but for that price, I should have paid a bit more. It's a shame I didn't get a response from the waitress.

Super tasty, friendly staff, short waiting time

Nach vielen Jahren war ich wieder einmal hier. Da ich das Restaurant schon einmal bewertet habe, erspare ich mir die allgemeinen Ausführungen hierzu. Diesmal habe ich bei diesem Spanier – Mexikaner – Italiener – Argentinier Pizza gegessen. Okay, wenn man zu einem - zumindestens dem Namen nach - Spanier geht, sollte man bezüglich der Pizza nicht allzuviel erwarten. Das Ergebnis war jedoch okay. Nicht besonders gut, nicht besonders schlecht. Einfach Durchschnitt. Positiv: es handelte sich um eine Pizza Meeresfrüchte und der Belag war wirklich in Ordnung. Besser als in vielen anderen Restaurants, wo sich das Ganze auf ein paar billig Muscheln und ein bisschen Surimi beschränkt. Positiv auch: die Pizza war nicht - wie so oft bei dieser Pizza - in Knoblauchöl ertränkt. Geschmacklich war sie aber eher durchschnittlich. Leider war auch der Boden zu weich. Und von der Größe her ist man mittlerweile etwas anderes gewöhnt.Fazit: war in Ordnung, mehr aber auch nicht. Ach ja! Noch eine Anmerkung zu Bedienung. Obwohl der Kellner ganz alleine war, war er sehr freundlich und für die personell angespannte Situation auch recht schnell.

The beer garden is nice, the service is good and friendly. 🥰 The starters were very tasty, but the paella could have been a bit more spicy. It wasn't that great 😢 I was so looking forward to it.

Well, reception and service were very friendly and quick. I didn't find the food particularly special, the standards of a tapas bar are very ambitious. No card payment, no notice! A no-go in a holiday destination.

We stayed in Koserow for five nights and ate four times at Don Diego. The staff was very friendly, and we enjoyed all the dishes. Good value for money.

We have been coming to Koserow for 3 years and eat at Don Diego every year. The food is always very tasty, whether pasta, fish or burritos. The service is always very friendly and quick. The restaurant is really recommended and we will definitely come back.

We ordered to pick up via Lieferando. Pizza was average and very greasy. But what is very annoying is that the bambini pizza states that it is 26 cm, it says so everywhere, even on the receipt and we got 20 cm pizzas. That borders on being cheeky, which is why we won't be ordering from here again

Very friendly service, very tasty food, we had the steak and the pasta with fillet tips, everything was great! The wine and grappa are of reasonable quality. Nice ambience. The terrace wouldn't have to be so brightly lit, then it would be even more comfortable. We'd love to come back!

Nice restaurant. Good service. Unfortunately, some of the tapas are overpriced. The olives look like they came from a discount store. Mushrooms with sherry sauce could be more and tasted better. The potatoes and ham were good.

Very good selection of food, I wouldn't recommend tapas but the rest was good. The service was friendly and attentive, but still a bit uncoordinated. Anyone who wants to travel around the world with culinary delights will find what they are looking for there. All in all solid and reasonable price.

We were served quickly by friendly staff. Drinks were very good, wine quality also very good. The food came quickly and tasted good. Nothing extraordinary, but still very good. Price-performance is definitely top here at around €120 for 5 people (two drinks and a main course each). Thank you!

The worst restaurant I've ever been to. It was supposed to be a quick snack after the bike ride. And we had a stomach ache, even though we didn't even eat 1/3 of the food. The food is disgusting. Don't go there. Waste of money, time and humor. Tapas are some of the cheapest hams, old burnt mushrooms and yellow cheese from a discount store. The meat balls look like cat food. A fake paella - rice with ready-made yellow spices, on a dirty board. It smells of cigarettes from the terrace, it's not clean. Terrible! We have learned a lesson to always read the opinion before entering the premises.

Local runs under a Spanish name with an Indian operator. Pizzas with the lowest average taste (Parma ham from a cheap discounter) and soaked in cheese. Pasta with frozen seafood. Children are not served first at the table (no-go for restaurants). Burritos, tapas and steak also don't fit into the restaurant's concept. Tourist trap.

I ordered bacon-wrapped dates and a salami pizza with extra mushrooms (for €2.30). It was the worst pizza I've ever eaten. The mushrooms weren't on there, the salami was way too salty and buried under a thick layer of cheese, the dough had no taste and everything was just greasy. Once and NEVER AGAIN!!!

Dinner from August 11th, 2024, The tapas were so-so and not acceptable by Spanish standards. The Pizza Rustica was baked with too much thick cheese and the dough was too greasy. The bread basket with the tapas had leftover tomatoes on it from another meal before? We showed this to the boss on site. Just a shrug of the shoulders... # Unfortunately no EC card payment possible. Why not...?

After a friendly greeting, it took a while until a drink could be ordered. Bread with garlic was edible, but didn't seem entirely fresh. The main course was initially forgotten, then asked again, at least. Noodles not as expected is probably a matter of taste. No coasters, no salt and pepper on the table. The whole thing is somehow loveless. There is a lack of a coherent concept in terms of both the menu and the ambience. It wasn't asked whether I wanted to pay with cash or card, it was assumed that I would pay in cash.

The concept seems a bit confusing and therefore it has a low budget feel. Based on previous reviews, I ate Indian, wife and child pizza. My food surprised me positively and my wife's statement that the pizza also tasted good should be mentioned here. The conditions were also very friendly. Therefore 4 stars, if you align yourself better and more precisely, you have to see where the journey takes you.

During our time there was no tapas, so we switched to pizza. We ordered several pizzas. All the pizzas were pure rags of oil and full of cheese. We only ate a few pieces each and then threw everything away. There is one star for the friendly staff.

We had pizza at Don Diego for lunch today. My son and I love to eat chicken pizza. Unfortunately this is not on the map. But they still made it possible to serve them to us. Thank you so much 🙏 it was delicious. We'd love to come back. Great service 👍

We had lunch. The external impression promised little. Shaky wheelchair ramp and everything “dingy”. No other guests. OK, it was 12:15 p.m. We “had” to take a paella pan and a cheese pizza because there were no tapas. The paelle pan tasted like Kaufland cone paella and was probably made worse with some chicken meat. When asked, a “grandiose and large” stone oven pizza was promised. However, a cookie roll arrived as a dough with analogue cheese. The sangria tasted like Tetrapack-2Euro-ready-from-ALDI. Cocktails weren't possible because no one could prepare them. There was also snooker playing (but that was still OK for me). In the end it was a disgrace and an absolute rip-off. I've been eating out regularly with my wife for about 12 years. We once had the “honor” of being processed straight away in Little Italy. But for that we would have to cross the big pond. Don Diego makes it into the TOP 3 worst holiday meals we've ever had. Anyone who has something to tell goes there, to all other visitors > FINGER OFF OR MOUTH

The pizza was so different that I have never eaten it before

The food was wonderful. The portions were definitely filling and were very nicely prepared. What we liked best was the service. Even a drink order was delivered directly in under 2 minutes. And the staff is super friendly with children. The restaurant is clean and generally has a nice but subtle interior. The visit is worth it :-)

We have eaten here several times and have always gone home satisfied. One more tip: try the tapas. We will be back.

Was made without love. Our starters were not acceptable. We had to return one completely because it was bad and the other was cold and had far too little toppings in relation to the price. The staff informed us more than an hour before closing that the kitchen was about to close. So we won't be coming back.

Waren 12/23 hier und es war super! Ich persönlich liebe Tapas, habe mir die „große Tapasplatte“ bestellt und war absolut begeistert! Es war vielfältig und super lecker! Ansonsten gab es für die Männer Rumpsteak und Calzone und für den kleinsten, Kartoffelpuffer. Es war alles super! Wir haben zwar etwas warten müssen, war gerade Hochbetrieb, allerdings war es das echt wert 🙏

Hatten leider geschlossen, obwohl laut Google Maps geöffnet. Sehr schade.

Wir waren zu dritt Essen, 3 verschiedene Essen und alle super lecker, zügig Zubereitet und der Service war auch sehr nett.

Essen (kl. Tapasteller) war gut, das Brot mindestens ne gute Woche alt. 🥴👎
