Heute mit Stefan heute hier gewesen - seit 22 Jahren oft zusammen hier - super köstlich wie immer ♥️ Preis / Leistung passt 👍🏼 Auch die anderen Filialen besuche ich gerne.

Siempre es genial visitar este lugar. Están más enfocados en llevar, pero también pueden pedir el sushi pre-hecho para cenar. No dejes que el pre-hecho te engañe, el sushi es muy fresco y muy sabroso. Es fácil y una gran comida rápida. Lo único es que no aceptamos tarjetas extranjeras como pago. Ninguna en absoluto, ni siquiera tarjetas de débito normales. Eso me parece extraño. Pero nos aseguramos de tener efectivo cuando visitamos.

Wie immer hervorragende Sushi gegessen. Selbst für Vegetarier sehr gut geeignet. Freundliche Bedienung. Beratung wie immer super und zuvorkommend professionell.

Sinceramente, nuestra peor comida en Alemania. No aceptan tarjetas de crédito, la comida está preparada, el sushi era mediocre y, sin embargo, el almuerzo costaba 90 euros por 3! Lo evitaría ya que hay muchas mejores opciones en Dusseldorf.

Wenn Sushi to-go, dann hier. Die Qualität ist sehr gut, man wird freundlich und schnell bedient und es gibt eine große Auswahl.

I spent six years in Japan, and when I travel around Europe I always look for a good Japanese restaurant. I have not been to this one before, and I can say that it is excellent. Maybe because its owner still works every day in that restaurant. He likes to be very active, and is proud of his work and preparation of various types of fish and meat, in his Japanese way. Of course, I also drank Japanese sake afterwards, which goes with that food.

Went there today for lunch while walking in the city. We all really liked the food. You can select your own plate with anything you want. The choice is really big. Now, when we proceeded to choose all kinds of “not raw” rolls and sushis the old guy (guess it was the owner as he was shown cutting the tuna on a video inside the restaurant) he told me something that I should try the tuna ones. So for the first time in my life I gave it a try. And it was just perfect 🤩 the very balanced taste of buttery and fishy tuna, well combined with the soya sauce, wasabi and ginger - this is something! All other stuff was all very tasty. It’s wrapped in plastic, yes, but I guess it preserves better the pre made sushi’s from loosing humidity. Anyway, I can really recommend this place. Oh, and kids and myself we received some Japanese KitKat from the owner. That was sweet 😊

We went to shadow arkaden and I knew about the highly rated Maruyasu. Amazing concept and style. I was simply amazed by the price quality it had on offer. Sure it was not perfect…the rice was just to cold for my taste. But the quality of the fish was excellent. The choice was quite amazing. All looked so fresh. I was amazed the choice of tuna sushi. Chutoro and even toro at 3,50 is great. I didn’t enjoy the soy sauce served. Bit to thick and overpowering. Also great here was the bento boxes. Between 7€ and 10€ it was a great deal. Sure they wrap the sushi in plastic but these are freshly made and high turnaround. Great to eat in the local Or at home. If the rice was at the right temprature would be best sushi inho. But even than for what you get…still 5 stars for me. Especially price quality wise. Must try.

First time in Düsseldorf, heart of Japan in Germany, we wanted great sushis. Sadly this restaurant did not fulfill our expectations... We are used that our sushi are made in front of you so you are sure about the freshness of the ingredients. But, this restaurant pre-made them and wrapped them individually in plastic... The taste was okay, but I am sure you can have better sushi in the city. I have to admit the price was fine : 23€ for 24 pieces (goyza and sushi rolls).

I had a great lunch with my wife and children here. The food makes me feel I am in Japan. We have ordered ramen, gyoza, edamame beans and donburi set. This restaurant is super clean and the staff is customer friendly. We want to go back for sure. Next time I want to try the matcha brûlée, obento and sushi’s. Keep up the good work !

The sushi is dreadful. Warm dishes are warmed up in the microwave and taste bad. Sushi have way too much rice. Rice is too cold and the fish is tasteless. Only good thing is the tuna sashimi.

They offer great Tuna, most likely the best Toro I have ever had. The Sushi Master Akio Ando San is a perfectionist and extremely passionated to deliver highest quality. Each time I am in town I try to have a Sushi session there. If you look for best quality this is your store.

This place is an insult to Japan. I lived there for two years, and while I don’t expect the same quality outside of japan - this place was a whole other level of awful. It has a fast food McDonald’s feel to it, nothing is cooked or prepared to order. All the sushi is prepackaged and comes from a central distribution plant already made into rolls and sashimi. Hot foods are simply reheated in a microwave. Avoid at all costs and visit another place here.

After shopping at the Königsallee we discover in the Schadowstraat 1, Maruyasu with Japanese specialties in the basement. We order a simple Japanese meal on advice. We opted for yaki maguro don with soup. A tasty nutritious meal. No long waiting time. Fair price. Worth repeating.

We lunch here every year during our Xmas market visit. It is always busy. Sushi assortment is very fresh, individually packed and unpacked for your order. Staff are very friendly. This time was an unexpected visit to Dusseldorf so we had a take away.

We used to go there sometimes because it is just at the exit/entrance from parking shadowarkaden in the basement. Owner (or the older man apparenting to be the owner) is extremely rude and snobbish. Tried to tell us how we should eat and laughed in our face about our order saying: 'You Germans...' Instead of being service oriented seems to judge clients and believes himself superior to his guests. We stopped going there because of his arrogant behaviour. We take our business elsewhere.

The quality and the great variety of food is just excellent! However, the organisation at this place is terrible especially at a Saturday afternoon. In order to pick your kind of sushi you need to see what's offered. But if there is a big line-up it's almost impossible to see what they offer. If you eventually figured out each sushi piece that you want and you are ready to order it is still a bit challenging to order since I don't speak Japanese and the waitress did not understand me the two times I went to that place. Maybe is was too loud in there and that was the reason she only understood me after the fourth time. Again, the food is simply amazing but ordering it can be frustrating when it's crowded.

I've been there 3 nights during my 5 night stay in Düsseldorf. Soo good was the sushi (take out twice, stayed there once). It's like a candy store where you can select from a wide variety of great sushi.
