Not recommended. I ordered the Pinsa Rossa, which is offered with goat cheese. After finding only five crumbs of cheese, I asked about it. The cheese was then added to the Pinsa—and later charged extra! And without any prior mention! It's a shame, because it was my first time here—and also my last.

The location is nice but it seems it’s difficult to develop a good concept for it. Owners and types of cuisines here have changed very frequently in the past few years. The service is mediocre but not terribly inattentive. The food is ok but unimpressive. The portions are on the small side but not tiny. The prices aren’t expensive but don’t feel justified. Can’t recommend the burgers. The side of fried potatoes felt like too little and came without any condiments. It’s a pity because the place is lovely and quiet all year round. The actual eating experience just never lives up to the expectations.

Change of ownership; no longer a large selection of burgers.

Unfortunately, it's no longer the Burger Dom we knew. After a change of ownership, it's unfortunately unrecognizable. The veggie feta burger lingered in my stomach for a long time. The kids' burger had a huge piece of hard patty. No fries, just greasy fried potatoes. The beetroot pinza was a very crispy crust with a bit of beetroot sauce and a few feta cubes. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing all in all. Absolutely not recommended for these prices. The service was very friendly.

We used to love eating burgers here - the selection was great and the taste was great. Unfortunately, there is a new Mediterranean orientation to the restaurant that no longer convinces us. Two more burgers on the menu, which are tasty, but can no longer keep up with the previous ones in terms of variety. We also had the bruschetta in three different versions, which didn't convince us in terms of taste. Not seasoned enough and the rocket leaves for decoration looked a bit wilted. When serving, the food was simply placed on the table instead of being announced or asked who would get what, so we were allowed to distribute it ourselves. What you have to give the DOM credit for is that the ambience is still great and the service was otherwise good and very accommodating. Unfortunately, we will now go somewhere else to eat burgers in the future - in our opinion, there are better alternatives for Mediterranean food in Konstanz.

The environment is great and I have no words to describe how amazing nursing is. I forgot to ask the name of the girl who answered us (I don't know if she was the owner of the establishment or an employee) but she was amazing. The food is delicious, but I believe if the pasta/noodles were artisanal, the restaurant would certainly elevate it even more.

Unfortunately it's not at all the same as before. Only the name remains. Burgers are just an afterthought. A bitter disappointment. However, the service was friendly. Unfortunately, it's no longer interesting to me.

We visited as a larger group and received a very friendly and warm welcome. We were able to relax and find our area and push the tables together (of course we had reserved beforehand). What we immediately noticed: the location is very pleasant in terms of noise, which allows for pleasant conversations even in larger groups. On the most important point, the food: it was very, very tasty. Every dish is a taste highlight. The size of the menu is pleasant and there is enough choice for every taste and type of food. The ingredients seemed high quality and very fresh. Regional is also the key word here. The only point is that when ordering you should make sure to mention the separation of starter and main course. Otherwise everything comes to mind in one fell swoop and the table is full. But ok, it still worked for us. We would be happy to come back and thank you again for your hospitality.

Lovely staff and great food (at least the ones I ordered).

I used to like to eat burgers here. When I was here again recently, I unfortunately discovered that due to the change in the menu there was only a very small selection of burgers. Above all, there are NO vegan burgers anymore and the side potatoes weren't cooked through. Prices have increased significantly, the food is only mediocre. Unfortunately, overall the cathedral has deteriorated and the price-performance ratio is simply no longer right.

We were there with a group and we really enjoyed it. The food not only looked delicious, but also tasted very good. Unfortunately we had to wait a bit for the drinks, but that didn't affect our overall impression. There is a good selection for lunch - we'll try that again

Beautiful Mediterranean restaurant. We went there spontaneously for lunch. The service was super friendly and accommodating. The food was simply brilliant. The soup was delicious and hot, the salad was great, especially no bottled dressing and the stuffed eggplant was just perfect. We'd love to come back when we're back in Konstanz.

Years ago, when we still lived in Konstanz, we always enjoyed eating burgers here. And now we were also impressed by the DOM's new direction when we visited with our two little girls. We will come back when we are in the area.

Unfortunately it doesn't come close to the old cathedral. We knew and loved the excellent service and the wonderful burgers. This time we only waited half an hour for the drinks and then waited far too long until we could order the food. Due to the changed menu, we gave food other than burgers a chance. But the pasta wasn't al dente, there was far too much cream in the sauce, the pide were also below average and we also waited far too long for the main courses. At least the great furnishings have been preserved. Unfortunately it was the last time we were here.

Local agradable cerca de la catedral de Constanza. La hamburguesa clásica muy recomendable, tamaño justo. El bowl vegano también, aunque la ensalada de burrata era escasa. No pusieron servicio de pan y al pedirlo muy escaso. No nos advirtieron al pedir una CocaCola que sirven Fritz-kola.

A cool restaurant in itself (ambience), but the food and especially the SERVICE need to improve drastically! It's unacceptable that there are only 2-3 people behind the counter and only one lady serving all the tables while the rest are "sleeping." Our wait for drinks alone was at least 30 minutes (and even after we requested our drinks, we were made to wait again, or the wrong drinks were delivered – not to mention that others were served before us). The food then took another 15 minutes – and again: the burger had the wrong sauce. The burger tasted okay (but nothing special). All in all, unfortunately, I can't recommend it. This will be my last visit here. It's a shame – it actually has potential, but you'll get nothing more than a stomach ache.

Relaxed, quiet atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious burgers. The prices are quite reasonable, although depending on what you choose, the prices can be a bit high for a burger, but in my opinion, it's still worth it. It's also in a very nice part of town.

Burger was just ok, the price leads one to expect more or is not justified. The side dishes (potatoes and grilled vegetables) in oversized bowls were not tasty and not enough, the tiramisu for dessert was a disaster. Service & ambience nice but we were there for the food.

I used to love the DOM burgers and the sweet potato fries with sour cream. Unfortunately, the burgers don't taste as good as the old ones. The selection is also very limited and not comparable to the previous one. In addition, the burgers were small and quite expensive. Once one of my favorite restaurants, now I don't think I'll go there again. Too bad!

Beautiful restaurant with very friendly service and a lunch menu that is unrivaled in terms of quality and price. A pumpkin cream soup or a well-mixed salad deliciously dressed as a starter and accompanied by a char fillet baked in butter with a fennel risoto for only 12.90 or two pieces of turkey breast with tahluatelli in tomato sauce with a vegetable side dish. The 0.2l apple juice spritzer for just 1.50 at the menu price is unbeatable. Everything was deliciously prepared, the meat was juicy and the fish was crispy. I can only recommend it.

Four of us were there for lunch today and everyone was very enthusiastic. Lunch includes a soup/salad and a small drink for a small additional charge. We had a total of 3 different dishes and everything was very tasty. Ambience very cozy, staff very friendly. Will definitely come back 😊

Visited the DOM again after 20 years and still found it to be very good.

Compared to the Old Cathedral with a large selection of burgers and side dishes, the current Cathedral is really disappointing. The atmosphere is ok, you felt a bit more comfortable in the old one. The chairs are not suitable for people with a bit more weight. Now about the food: Burger ok but not filling. Supplements disaster. 1 potato cut into pieces... wow. The amount of fried potatoes isn't even close to large. The salad was ok as a side dish, more so than the potatoes. The side dishes were still missing some decoration. “Homemade iced tea” is simply boiled tea that has been cooled and a few ice cubes added. The price is around 25 - 30€ per person, but you won't get full! The service is friendly. In conclusion, I would say that the cathedral is no longer worth it. I would rather go to Hans im Glück and get a much better meal for the price. Thanks for reading through.

Until the Corona crisis, the restaurant was a burger highlight: inviting and the burgers were creative. On a recent visit, we noticed that the menu has become smaller, the burgers have become less creative and the prices have become higher. It no longer feels like these are the best burgers in the region. It seems as if they have given up the claim to make good burgers. Extremely disappointing and a loss.

We went there for dinner last week. The bruschetta appetizer variation was delicious and the burger was tasty. The icing on the cake would be a vegetarian patty instead of the cauliflower. The service from the two young ladies was excellent and left nothing to be desired. We'd love to come back! :)

FINALLY not the same boring fries with the burgers. The fried potatoes were good (but I read about sweet potatoes elsewhere - they would have been my favorite). The Mafia burgers in the animal and vegetarian versions were good and appropriate for the price. Unfortunately there was no island beer that would have perfected the visit.

We often went to Doms Burger and loved it because it was our favorite burger place. However, on our last visit we were very disappointed with the menu selection as there were hardly any burgers left to choose from. Also, strangely enough, there were no fries, just roasted potatoes, which unfortunately weren't cooked through and were served in a very small portion. The burger, the main course, was undercooked, which would have been fine if it hadn't tasted so bland. Service was also below average; the operation was difficult to understand. It's a shame that the restaurant has given up on its core competency of making burgers - a crucial factor in its previous good reviews. Instead, it is now relying on an unsuccessful “Mediterranean” concept. Unfortunately, the rebranding failed. Good luck to you :)

Extremely overpriced for super bad food. Burger with dry old bread, rotten salad and far too little sauce. Small portion and long wait for food. Never again!

No recommendations, some of the dishes are too small, there is a lack of spice and/or sauce. The waiting time was clearly too long and one of the waiters was very unfriendly. The only positive thing is a very friendly and funny waitress. Overall, it's definitely not worth the relatively high prices.

Very nice atmosphere, the service was friendly but unfortunately very slow, we also waited a long time for the food. The taste and portion size were so-so, all in all the price-performance ratio wasn't quite right for me.

That was the worst burger I've ever eaten. Burger completely dry and tasteless, potatoes completely cold and firm.

The Konstanz Cathedral was recommended to us. Service was great, everything was nice and clean. Salad as a starter was good. The burger wasn't convincing, to be honest it almost made me sick. Unfortunately, the sweet potato fries weren't a hit either. I ordered barbecue sauce with the fries, which tasted more like chilli con carne.

Delicious food but very slow service. We waited 20 minutes before we even got the menu. We had to wait about 45 minutes for our food, even though the restaurant was only half full. Other guests who came later than us got their food much earlier than us, even though we only ordered 2 burgers. In retrospect we regretted not eating somewhere else. In the old town you can find much better restaurants than the cathedral.

Today I visited the Mediterranean Restaurant DOM in Konstanz and was thrilled. The ambience is great and the location can't be beat. The burgers are particularly noteworthy – the meat was excellent and the taste was a delight. A thoroughly recommended experience!

Quite ok in itself, the first impression is sufficient. Unfortunately no fries with the burger. The burgers look good, but the veggie burger really upset my stomach, so I had problems for two days. The fried potatoes didn't taste good at all. The menu is already very “hackneyed”.

Ordered burgers. The staff was friendly and nice. Unfortunately, the burgers didn't really taste like anything, they didn't taste good at all and there was far too little sauce on them, so you didn't really taste it. The potatoes and roasted potatoes were very little, dry and unfortunately without ketchup. Bad value for money.

Misleading map. The fish pot came with 2 measly fried fillets on overcooked vegetables. The chickpea pesto (Pesto di Ceci) was a perfectly normal basil pesto, albeit vegan. Tiny portion of pasta for €16.50 Stars are given for service and ambience. The best part about the food was that it was available

We went to the cathedral for a burger and ate two classic burgers and a small salad. There were no longer fries, only fried potatoes. The burger and the fried potatoes tasted good but the burger and the salad were really small and there were maybe 6 slices of fried potatoes with it. The whole thing for 16.50 for the burger and 6.50 for the salad. So 23€. So if you're hungry I wouldn't recommend this for the price. The salad felt empty after three bites.

We've been going back to the cathedral for several years because of the good burger selection. Unfortunately, we now realized that the new menu has significantly reduced the number of burgers and there was no longer a choice of fries. Hercules Burger now has feta cream - that used to be a real piece of feta. And who needs rosemary potatoes with their burger? Please, we don't need any fancy stuff here, it's a shame...

The Mafia Burger was an absolute disappointment in terms of taste, greasy without any kick or sophistication. Very unfortunate!

I chose the Amalfi Burger. The sweet potato toppings were out. The replacement: baked potatoes were oily and blandly seasoned. The burger was the subsequent disappointment, greasy and without any taste of the ingredients. For a restaurant that has very few burgers to choose from, I expected a really fine burger. Unfortunately, you don't dare to do that Thank you, Moritz. The service was ok. and I have previously rated this 4 stars. The buffalo mozzarella was definitely missing from the burger.

We were here for the first time, the first impression attracted us, but we were quickly disillusioned. I call it foreign shame, as the restaurant management behaved. From half past seven to nine o'clock the people were all sent away because capacity was full... that surprised me immensely, there were 9 tables still free on the terrace, a small group inside and 2 tables only occupied. How can you reach your limits? There were three people in the kitchen, four service staff. We had to wait for the drinks and when we ordered another drink we were simply forgotten. Even when the guests had all eaten on the terrace, no new table was allowed to be occupied. The management spoke to the guests in an unfriendly and complacent manner, and to us on a “buddy basis” it was simply an incredibly unpleasant visit there, which was definitely just due to the way it was done. Coming to the kitchen, pasta was good! The girls in service, don't let them get you down!

It's ok, I've eaten much better burgers. Bread was very hard, prices were outrageous for what it was. Do you need to know...

What should be highlighted is the friendly and courteous wait staff; they really do a good job and make you feel very comfortable. The salad was very tasty with the dressing. I think it's a good idea to offer sweet potato fries with the burgers right from the start. These are also very good. The burger was missing that certain extra (spices/additional sauce) - we had the burger with the feta cream. Overall, the price/performance was right, we only found the large juice spritzer for €5 too much. But we would come again and would like to order another burger. Ps. as information - the menu images are no longer up to date.

We walked past spontaneously without making a reservation. Even if everything was fully booked, a place was found. The burgers are really tasty and big. The staff were super friendly and organized. Absolutely to be recommended.

We were looking for good vegetarian and, ideally, vegan burgers in the city. Because we couldn't find anything else on the website, we quickly scanned the menu photos on Google. There we saw the selection of a vegan patty! This has been convincing in the past. Unfortunately, we then found out that the menu had now been renewed and the only vegan dishes were a pasta dish and a bowl. Of course it's a shame if you really want burgers. Still, the pasta was tasty, although not as filling as a burger. The service was very nice and accommodating. It would be great if there were more vegetarian burger options soon. And this too It would be easier to understand digitally in advance and you wouldn't have to find out about it on site.

Before the menu change in 2024, Dom Burger was one of my favorite restaurants in Konstanz. The new menu offers fewer burger variants and promotes modern burger concepts (e.g. burger with patty, truffle-apple-onion mayo and red coleslaw or burger with patty, mozzarella, bresaola, rocket and sweet honey mustard sauce). That's not my taste anymore. In my opinion, the menu in the new concept is missing a hearty classic (burger with patty, fresh green lettuce, fresh tomatoes, peppers or cucumbers, without sweet sauce variants). The burgers have become more expensive with the new menu. The staff is still very friendly and the ambience of the restaurant remains cozy and appealing.

After the conceptual change to the menu, appealing, simple but very good Mediterranean cuisine with well-crafted food, a cozy atmosphere and friendly service staff. Good selection of bar drinks in the evening.

I haven't been to the cathedral for a long time, except today. I immediately noticed that the card was a little different, and later found out that it had a new owner. I don't think I've ever regretted going out to eat somewhere and leaving a lot of money on the table for food that was just really bad for my wife and me. Starting with the brusceta, which isn't just a pate of bread, to the burger, which was supposed to be medium rare and well done, but we both only got it fried to death. The only good thing was the fries. Unfortunately it is no longer the cathedral I remembered. In terms of taste, it's not even close to a comparison, and for this price, it's a shame. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back. A small plus point is the service, which was very nice.

We chose the restaurant based on the internet, but when we saw the menu it was clear to us that the information on the internet didn't match reality. So we decided against eating and just had something to drink. If new management has moved in, this must also be announced on the Internet so that tourists know the truth.

Very tasty "homemade" hamburger The iced tea is probably the best we've tried so far. The service is not 5* star alone, but it is good too! I really recommend it! 25 euros per person with a drink!

Everything tastes very tasty and natural. The historic courtyard is very inviting and the staff is very nice and accommodating. We'll come back here when we're in Konstanz.

Delicious food reasonable prices.

Mega ambience and absolutely great service, but the menu is a bit special and, in my opinion, not thought through. The pre-made burgers are all special in their own way and the option to put together a dish as desired is missing here, which is particularly annoying since many classic burgers such as a cheeseburger or a BBQ burger are missing from the menu and there are vegan or vegetarian alternatives compared to them Older menus that can still be found have been removed from the menu. In addition, the dips listed were related to the burgers and the fries always come with ketchup and mayonnaise, which is a bit unspectacular for these very well prepared sweet potato fries. The concept is certainly nice for people who are willing to try something out, but not for everyone, as there were often one or more disturbing ingredients in the creations and you don't know "should I cancel these two things from the burger or should I take them?" the other one and order something with it?" The staff was extremely attentive, friendly, gave advice and helped out and would have even earned 6 stars if possible, but the food couldn't quite keep up (even though the restaurant was recommended to us as an insider tip) A super nice bar, great ambience and great staff, with slight optimizations I see a lot of potential here for the future.

It's no longer the Dom Restaurant as we all know it. Owners have changed, the whole menu is new and yesterday I had a really horrible evening that shouldn't happen in a restaurant. There were 4 of us eating, 3 got the burger and I had to wait another 20 minutes for my burger because they were out of buffalo patty...(sorry, you notice that beforehand and look for an alternative and not just when everyone is already finished are with the food). One request (no feta cream in the burger) was of course also forgotten by the colleague. I also think it's really bad that there are no wedges or fries, only sweet potatoes or fried potatoes. The food was very tasty but the service, the new menu and everything together ruined the whole evening. At least I got my food for free, but that was the least I could do after everything that happened. I definitely won't come again!

We love the Dom restaurant, the service and the location are awesome. We've been enjoying coming here for years. However, we were there today and they recently had a new menu. The classic burgers and wedges were replaced with pasta a la Provence and Black Forest smoked fish. We have nothing against the restaurant trying out new dishes, but please keep the classic dishes. You were the place for burgers in Konstanz and it's just a shame that it doesn't exist anymore. -A concerned regular

Very warm welcome, with a one and a half year old baby, some burgers are missing for my taste (with avocados for example) but those offered are suitable. We loved the decor, the music and the conviviality.

It used to be significantly better. Hardly any guests, but still loud. Missing out on trends and optimizing costs. A pity

The two of us had dinner there on Sunday and we were both very satisfied. The ambience is pleasant, the burgers were very tasty and the service was attentive but not intrusive. We will certainly eat here again.

Unfortunately there is now no vegetarian or vegan patty version - you can only choose between feta or grilled vegetables. Both cost extra compared to the meat patty, which doesn't make sense. The only vegan sauces are either BBQ or ketchup. 17€ for a “burger” with just lettuce leaves and vegetables is really a lot. Definitely a step backwards compared to the previous menu, where you could put together your own burger.

The positive thing I can say is that you really have to try it out. It was terribly delicious! Had a Dom Bürger and it tasted like homemade. I also think the wedges are delicious, but you can also offer a selection, sweet potatoes/fries? What really bothers me and why a few stars are missing is the price of the drinks. (And also 2 fake Cokes) If you simply pay €1.50 less on the ferry than in the restaurant, then something is definitely wrong. Citizens costs almost the same as in comparable restaurants, so the selection and the idea are incredible.

this place is such a joke! The staff was extremely rude and we saw several people leave before they were shown a table. I guess this might have been a bad evening,- but then we got the burgers! Problably the worst (brown) salat filled burger I have ever gotten! The whole experience was so weird!! The burgers was so bad, and the staff even worse! One advice; be nice to people at least! The waitress we got was nice,- but stressed out completly. (and this was a sunday)We didnt even get what we ordered,- but didnt feel like to correct the staff. They would have thrown us out. 1 star for nice location!

Obwohl wir Plätze im Biergarten reserviert hatten, bekamen wir keine zugewiesen. Der Biergarten war fast leer!! Das Wetter sah zwar etwas nach Regen aus, was ich dann aber gelegt hat. Wir waren 7 Personen und hätten locker Platz gehabt! Eine logische Erklärung weshalb wir nicht dort sitzen konnten bekamen wir nicht. Das Essen selbst: Wir hatten verschiedene Burger bestellt, waren aber durchwegs nicht von der Qualität und vom Geschmack überzeugt. Viel Luft nach oben!
