Dolce Vita in Hamburg

Certainly a nice place to have a café outside in the summer, the hustle and bustle of the staff proves that the pizzas must be good, there were definitely regular guests here. We wanted to eat something before our train arrived on November 3rd, but due to the high number of guests, we ended up only having time for a cappuccino and a piece of cake. Both were delicious and not expensive at all. The fact that all the entrances were open and there was a lot of traffic meant that we caught a cold. As I said: always happy in summer, not so much in autumn/winter. You have to give the house credit for the fact that the entire train station was a construction site with no place to stop for refreshments and everything was supposed to be collected here. We will happily come back for the delicious coffee and cake; However, if you have to continue your journey, you should not lose sight of your timetable. If I were based there, I would definitely try out the menu.

First of all I have to mention the very friendly staff, simply great. I had a bolognese and a cheesecake for dessert and that was great. So all in all, I can only recommend this store. I'll be back there soon.

We had just finished taking a walk in the park when we decided to stop for a cup of tea and some light snacks. We saw they had tea with mint, which we love. The only thing that surprised us was when the waitress brought out the tea: There was no tea, only hot water with some mint leaves as shown in the picture. When we asked her for teabags, assuming she had forgotten them, she said we had to pay 4 euros for each teabag, when we had already paid 4,5 for each cup of hot water with mint leaves. It felt like being on candid camera, only without the gotcha moment. Absolutely do not recommend this place. If you value your money I would recommend going to another one of the many cafes in the area

We wanted to have a relaxed coffee today. After we ordered, our cake arrived, which was obviously and tastefully industrially produced. No napkins, dishes with chipped edges - you would expect a little more at a hefty unit price of almost five euros. Several attempts to draw attention to us because we wanted to pay were unsuccessful. We went into the store to pay. What can you say - card payment was not possible, but it was advertised on the doors. Instead, you should pay with PayPal or cash. The price to be paid was calculated using a calculator. Receipt? None. Once and never again!!

We (3) visited Planten un Bloomen in Hamburg today. We wanted to have a relaxed coffee and then stopped at Dolce Vita. It started with only half of the items on the menu being available, then coffee and cake on broken dishes came relatively quickly. The chocolate cake based on sponge dough for €4.80 is a joke and the poppy seed cake was served very hot. When we paid we were also hit by the blow, despite the sticker on the shop window (card fence with Visa & Co) they demanded cash and said the device was defective. This could have been pointed out at the beginning, and after only having €20 in cash we were asked if we otherwise had PayPal. We denied this and then paid less in cash than we actually should have paid and our distorted items were not put into a cash register, so there was no receipt. The whole thing is very questionable... We definitely won't come by again.

I came to this cafe by chance. I did not regret it for a minute. Cosy, clean cafe, pleasant atmosphere and very, very friendly staff. Even on a cold day, I was very warm to be in this atmosphere. The food is delicious and the coffee is just super. I recommend everyone to visit this cafe when you are walking in Planten & Blumen Park❤️

Since you can pay with your card almost everywhere, you will be taught otherwise. If the waiter says: "It's not my fault that you don't have any cash with you"... you can only expect zero tips and bad reviews.

- No card payment possible - but Paypal - Ambiance is nice. The location right next to the park and near the Dammtor train station is great. - The waitress (an older gentleman) was super friendly, welcoming and attentive. He offered water for my dog ​​without asking. - However, the waitress behind the counter (an older lady) was completely the opposite and encouraged me to leave without me wanting to order anything. Everyone can have a bad day, but treating customers willing to pay like this is an outrage! I'll try it again in the future, but for now I'll avoid the place!

I have only had good experiences with this restaurant. The ambience is very nice, especially on warm days you can sit comfortably outside. The food tasted very good. The service was quick and the employees are very nice! I can only recommend this restaurant!

Pleasant surprise. Typical park bar, delicious Italian pizzas, typical Italian dough. The fries are also very good. Price a bit expensive, but Hamburg in general is like that.

We were visiting Hamburg and spontaneously looked for a cool drink to refresh ourselves. If you want to order something here, you should make sure to take enough cash with you as card payment is not available here. I was there with my partner on a fairly warm summer day. We were looking forward to some refreshment. First of all, we had to wait for what felt like half an hour before an employee - even after clearly asking whether we could order something - would approach us. The delivery again took half an hour. Here too we would have to ask where our order is. The shandy and hefeweizen were piss warm. At such outside temperatures you should have enough cold drinks on hand. I can NOT recommend this restaurant. I'd rather go to the sands opposite and have a cocktail there.

It was warm in Hamburg. What could be nicer than a cool drink? The Dolce Vita is located exactly between the DB train station and the subway station. The restaurant offers cozy-looking outdoor seating. There were two of us and we quickly found space. Unfortunately the bench was defective - the armrest had broken out of its holder, so you couldn't sit comfortably. The table top at the next table was apparently missing. The base of the remaining table was moved aside and a wooden box was placed as a replacement. You can do it, but it seems strange. Unfortunately, it was hard to recognize the service employees because only one out of three or four was wearing work clothes. After we weren't noticed any further, but the tables next to us were all served, we grabbed the service and asked if we could order something too. The wait for service took 15 minutes. Another 15 minutes should pass until the warm drinks were brought to the table. They would certainly have been better cold, but what do you expect. We might have also ordered a little something after dinner - but the service staff were more preoccupied with themselves. After it was time to pay, our problem was there again - attracting attention. Ultimately it worked. However, the invoice amount was different than the prices on the menu suggested. But then nothing was rewarded for that.

No card payment is offered (which was not mentioned when ordering, which meant that in addition to the €9 drink there was a €5.50 fee for withdrawing money), two attempts were made to make us pay more money than the products would have cost. No recommendation.

2 stars for the nice ambience and the food/drink selection. Staff completely understaffed. It took forever for our predecessors' empty glasses to be put away. After 15 minutes we were asked if we had ordered yet. When we said no, the waiter disappeared and never came back. We then took turns going in and ordering ourselves. Of course no card payment. The lady behind the counter who prepared the drinks for us simply charged me and my girlfriend 50 cents more. My girlfriend noticed it straight away, but unfortunately I only noticed it afterwards. So please take a close look at the prices on the menu before you get charged!

Very long waiting time during normal operation. Hardly any attention from the service staff. The cake menu is very full but there was only one cake on offer which wasn't on the menu. Have 45min. Waited for service because we wanted to order something ourselves. After 45 minutes we went in and were told that card payment was not possible but we could pay with cash or PayPal (friends). The location is quite nice.

My companion and I had to wait another hour for the train, after which we decided to have a drink at Dolce Vita. The service was incredibly friendly and unobtrusive. She was a master of small talk, service and friendliness. The prices are absolutely appropriate for the location. Everything is less hectic than 300 meters away and the staff made me happy. Unfortunately I can't write anything about the food because we didn't eat anything. Hence my rating.

The food was ok. It's not that pricy so that was good. We sat outside on Sunday afternoon, the sun was shinny, very good afternoon. It was great idea to sit outside. Very cozy and comfy. The staff was friendly and good. Might take some time to find them and ask them, but if you do, they'll do right away. There's only one toilet (uni-sex) which is very clean by the way, so you might need to line up.

The atmosphere is very nice, the waitress is very nice The pizza was okay, rather small, thick dough and the rosemary was very pungent. Only at the end were we told that you could only pay in cash, whereupon we had to go and withdraw money again, which was annoying. Overall quite nice, but not great.

I definitely don't recommend this place. The service is rude and the food is terrible.

We went to this cafe twice and both times the place was so understaffed. Today we waited 20 minutes for service, and it only came after we made our presence known. We waited another 20 minutes for our drinks and then left and canceled the drinks. Unfortunately the store is extremely understaffed.

The waitress and waiter who served us were extremely rude. They asked us to pay for drinks which we had only received a few minutes prior. Drinks which were nowhere near finished. They gave us an old drinks menu with apparently old prices. When we understandably questioned this the waiter was extremely annoyed and rude. Just a hostile experience honestly

I think people should reevaluate their opinion before saying this is a bad place to eat. Considering how crowded the place is and was today because of the marathon, and all those food orders going to the kitchen at the same time, I think the service was quite nice. The waiters were obviously very occupied but we had our orders coming in quite quickly, about 20 minutes. The burgers tasted good, warm and the fries were crispy. We also had a highchair for our baby and the restaurant heated my babys food free of charge. I do recommend this place, considering the chaotic circuntamces we had a good time.

The service staff was pleasantly friendly and accommodating. The food was good and the atmosphere is cozy and ideal for waiting for your train.

I'm only giving it four stars because we didn't eat anything, just drank something. Very nice service, I have to mention straight away. Nice ambience and cozy location. Of course, when the sun was shining we sat outside, whether on a bar stool, chair, armchair, sofa or small sun lounger, you can choose where you would like to sit. Small snacks or lunch are offered here. Lunch from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. There is also a small toilet on site and very clean, but I would have liked something to dry my hands, unfortunately there was nothing in stock. But otherwise really recommended. Price performance is okay.

We received absolutely friendly service. Drinks were great, food was great and the prices were absolutely ok. With such a central location, the rents are quite reasonable.

Terrible service. Waiters are slow, unfriendly, and kept bringing wrong items to our table. It took easily 40 minutes just to get our drinks (beers!) and they kept speaking German to us, even though we're tourists and said we didn't speak German. The food was okish, but my salad was dirty! The bathroom was also disgusting! Awful experience! I definitely don't recommend and will not be coming back.

When the weather is nice, you can sit here and enjoy a cold beer. Service was friendly. The toilet is very clean.

Food is OK. Fries are good, pizza and salad are OK. Everything goes worse. Service is good, but a bit understaffed.

At first the ambience was pleasant for a small coffee near the train station. The service was nice but not necessarily fast. The cake was good, but you could tell that it wasn't homemade. In principle, the price/performance ratio wasn't quite right, but in order to shorten the time at the transfer station, it worked.

The location is great but overall the value for money and service is terrible! Completely overpriced and bad cake that comes from the freezer and is defrosted in the microwave (statement from the waitress).

A nice shop located directly at Dammtor train station and Planten un Blomen. You can make yourself comfortable here. The service is untrained young ladies who don't always do everything right, but OK, they're friendly. Prices are a bit too high for my taste for what you get, but for us it was a nice little stopover between the city and home. We like to take a break here.

Die beste Pizza die ich je gegessen habe. Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Getränke und Essen wurden zügig Serviert. Nur das Ambiente war nicht so meins, okay ist mehr die Musik, die nicht mein Geschmack getroffen hat. Aber ansonsten sehr gemütlich.

Die Pizzen waren OK. Die bestellten Penne arrabiata waren Spaghetti und außer scharf nur geschmacklos.

Service super freundlich! Salat war leider nicht frisch, die Pizzen mittelmäßig.

Eine Tüte Pommes, total überwürzt, für 5 Euro mit Mayo aus der Tüte, das geht besser. Vorallem wenn das, sonst freundliche, Personal, versucht, due als die besten Pommes der Stadt zu verkaufen. Nicht verkehrt mit deutlicher Luft nach oben.

Tolle Lage, könnte man was draus machen... Bedienungen allesamt unfreundlich und überfordert... finden den Tisch nicht wieder. Mein Eistee wurde in ein dreckiges Glas eingefüllt worauf oben Dreck herumschwamm. Die Musik die (mit ständigen Aussetzern) gespielt wird läuft über ein Spotify Werbeaccount, sprich man hört immer wieder Werbung, die 10 Euro im Monat für ein Abo wären sicher gut investiert.

Naja, 50 Minuten für Pommes, Pasta und Pizza. Qualität okay. Personal gestresst höflich. Nehmt euch genug Zeit! WC gut. Stilles Waser für 7.- €

Ich kann hier leider nur 2 Sterne geben. Die Pizza hat die Qualität einer durchschnittlichen TK Pizza, die Currywurst ist eine Standard Currywurst aus der Fritteuse , ohne Brot oder sonstiges, mit 4,80€ ein Stolzer Preis. Auch das Nudelgerichte war leider höchstens Durchschnittlich. Leider hat auch der Service noch sehr Ausbaufähig, wir haben 3 Bedienungen und dann noch bei der Bar bescheid gesagt, das wir zahlen möchten, mussten aber trotzdem warten. Wer sich nun fragt, warum wir nicht an der Bar gezahlt haben, das war der Plan, ging aber leider nicht, der Herr sagte nur "ich muss ein Mädel mit Portemonnaie suchen"

Leckeres Essen in der Abendsonne und wir haben einen sehr netten und aufmerksamen Service erlebt. ABER: KEINE KARTENZAHLUNG.... Ich musste zum nächsten Geldautomaten rennen, sodass wir unsere Bahn nicht mehr bekommen haben. :-/ Leider auch kein offensichtliches Hinweisschild...

Ein wirklich tolles Plätzchen am frisch sanierten Dag-Hammarskjöld-Platz zwischen Dammtor-Bahnhof, Planten un Blomen und Stephansplatz! Wenn man will sitzt man schattig unter einem schönen Laubbaum (!?) oder sonnig auf gemütlichem und schönem Mobiliar. Der Service ist leider nicht sooo aufmerksam und wenn man mit Blickrichtung Planten un Blomen und damit zum Haus abgewandt in den Liegestühlen sitzt, wird man hart ignoriert. Da muss man schon um Aufmerksamkeit buhlen. Das Schwarzbier (ohne Nennung der Brauerei) war leider ausverkauft. Die menschengroße Pommestüte schreit förmlich danach eine Portion Pommes zu bestellen. Diese ist zwar lecker gewürzt und wirklich groß aber leider ist die Konsistenz noch optimierungsfähig. Die Portion Mayo ist für den Preis unangemessen klein. Wenn man eine Bedienung erwischt hätte, hätten sie aber sicherlich noch einen Nachschlag gewährt. ... Hätte. Ich komme trotzdem wieder wegen des schönen Plätzchen! Im Sommer! Im Winter drinnen fehlt mir noch die Fantasie. Obwohl die Toilette ein echtes Erlebnis ist. Leider nur ungepflegt.

Tolles Café in Traumlage. Nettes Personal und schöne Terrasse. Ein zwei Kellner mehr könnten mehr Umsatz bringen und die Gäste sitzen nicht so lange umsonst. Dennoch tolles Objekt.

Probé muchas heladerías en Hamburgo, pero ninguna tenía un helado tan sabroso como este. Tuve avellana, stracciatella y pistacho - almendra. Mi novio es vegano y comió mango y maracuyá. Los dos lo disfrutamos mucho y se puede saborear su buena calidad. Realmente lo recomiendo.

Если вы свернёте с площади Gansemarkt на улицу Gerhofstrasse, то по правой стороне вы сможете увидеть небольшую итальянскую джелатерию Eiscafe "Dolce&Gelato". Ориентиром будет служить рекламный вафельный рожок с тремя шариками джелато - жёлтого, вишнёвого и фиолетового цвета + оранжевого цвета зонт. Себе взяла шарик манго и шарик маракуйи, а муж свою любимую классику - два шарика шоколадного и чашечку эспрессо!!! Очень и очень вкусно! Правда не принимают к оплате карты, только наличные - это мне сразу напомнило питерское кафе с итальянским корнями - "Италия" на Бакунина. Кафе работает c 10:00 - 21:00.
