I was very happy to find a Turkish restaurant, but the reason I deducted one point is unfortunately the prices are a bit high. I didn't find the food very tasty either. Unfortunately, the doner kebab tasted too much of pepper, the beans were very pasty and chaotic, there was everything in it, I couldn't figure out what it had to do with potatoes, sausage, pasta and beans. Unfortunately, I didn't like it very much, but the tea service was nice, thank you.

The quality and taste of the dishes is good and the prices are reasonable and proportionate. The staff and the service in general are reliable and friendly. Minus for not being able to pay by card, even though it is registered with card payment on Google. There is an ATM in the middle of the restaurant (!!!) directly at the bar with guests who can also write down their PIN??? As a business guest, I had to go out of my comfort zone into the cold and look for an ATM that didn't charge an extra fee - embarrassing for my own guests. Well, the divan is fine overall, but only for cash payers.

Discovered while walking past! My 12 year old daughter stopped in curiosity and after studying the menu she went in to reserve a table for 4 people that evening. “You’re welcome, Madame!” When we arrived at 8 p.m. the restaurant was full -> but the table she wanted was just being prepared for her. “Welcome, your table will be ready in 1 minute!” 🤩 Incredibly friendly staff, attentive and approachable! The food was great!! Just a great experience!!

Important note to get this problem solved guys have an ATM inside restaurant, that's crazy. But surprisingly you get charged extra transaction amount for withdrawal. Beawar of that. We were very satisfied. The service was great and the food was very tasty and justified for the price. We paid €51 for 3 drinks and 2 main courses. If we're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit again :-) The only point of criticism is the lack of EC card payment.

We ate inside the restaurant. There is an option to dine both indoors and outdoors. It should be mentioned in advance that card payments are not possible, but there is an ATM in the restaurant. This is not a Turkish restaurant, I actually ate Iskender. As soon as I arrived, it looked so dirty, I was hungry, ate some, got up and ran away.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated! The cuisine is very good with very fresh and homemade food, we were delighted! the server is very helpful! We are in Freiburg im Breisgau on vacation and I highly recommend this quality restaurant!

By chance and also driven by hunger, my wife and I ended up here while passing through. The location on the street and the opportunity to sit outside were invitation enough for us. A look at the lunch menu confirmed the first impression. The service was nice, unobtrusive and very fast, so that the dishes we ordered were on our table very quickly. Everything was very tasty, well sized and absolutely right in terms of price. We will definitely stop here more often when passing through in the future 😊

Went there just before 4pm to eat the lunch menu. The waiter makes you wait 15 minutes and then wants to collect the full price because the lunch special is only valid until 4 p.m. Absolutely unacceptable service.

I didn't like the taste and smell of the kebab at all for the very expensive price it was, I asked for a glass of water, they brought me back 15 minutes later and it was lousy. I was charged four euros for tap water, you can imagine, the staff is not patient and not professional. They want customers to order very quickly and the chef at the end dares to come and ask you if it went well with a well-prepared, calculated smile. To escape I will never go back.

Restaurant to avoid expired meat and average taste especially for the price. (C pakpak ptn) Having taken an adana kebap and my friend a kebab pide we find ourselves vomiting all evening (probably expired meat) I don't understand how this establishment can have so many positive reviews. Having paid 70€ for a dish that makes you vomit all evening is incomprehensible, I strongly advise against it. It is a shame for this beautiful city that a restaurant of this poor quality is located on such a busy street. Really avoid it so as not to spoil your trip.

Ate at Divan Ocakbasi for the first time. Great ambience, great service, but... I ordered the kebab meat with fries and unfortunately I was disappointed. For this restaurant and for this price, I don't expect a minced meat doner, but a neatly layered veal doner. The taste of the kebab is solid, like 99% of all minced meat kebabs. Secondly, the other dishes, such as Börek or the pans, are very good, I should try them with friends. Therefore, only three stars from me. Consider offering a high-quality kebab; that reflects the quality of your great restaurant.

You definitely get a lot for your money here. Conclusion: I can recommend Divan Freiburg to anyone who likes to enjoy delicious Turkish food in a pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely come again. ...Good location: The Divan Freiburg is centrally located in the city center and is therefore easy to reach by public transport. Tip: If you want to eat at Divan Freiburg, I recommend that you reserve a table as it is often full.

If you want to go from the train station to the city center, one of the first restaurants on the way there is the "Divan" on Bertoldstr. 54. A touch of exoticism (although Turkish cuisine has been part of the local culinary landscape for years) and the impatience of hungry male companions who don't feel like spending hours looking for a suitable restaurant, lead to one spontaneously looking for one Look for a free table and take a seat. The food isn't bad, However, I recommend taking a look at the prices before ordering, because it's not exactly cheap. A glass of Ayran (yoghurt diluted with water with a pinch of salt) costs €4.30, the starter of a few slices of zucchini with yoghurt sauce is available for €8.50 (in some other restaurants you can get a main course for this price) , a Sac dish costs a whopping €24.50, even though you'll find a lot of potatoes and vegetables on the pan (that's the so-called "Sac"), but far too few cubes of meat. The good old tradition of saying goodbye to guests when paying with a glass of raki at the house's expense has apparently been abolished - it is probably too expensive for the innkeeper...Instead it costs 2 cl (20 milliliters - that's more something to smell than for drinking) a whole €4.70!!! The bottom line is that for 3 people it's almost €100, although in our case no other drinks were ordered apart from the ones mentioned above. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is not really balanced. The cleanliness in the toilet also leaves something to be desired - you walk down to the basement on a carpet, but in the toilet your shoes stick to the floor, which is very unpleasant. We were in Freiburg for 2 days and spontaneously decided on this restaurant. Despite many reservations (which I also recommend), we managed to get a table for 1 hour. The restaurant is comfortably furnished, but the seating is pretty tight. The menu is very extensive and varied. Both our starters and main courses were delicious. The staff is attentive and friendly. You should just think about offering card payment these days.

Once again I gave this shop a chance, persuaded my companion against her concerns and objections, only to be proven wrong. That's the only positive thing about this visit. The realization that a real Turkish restaurant is not created by the names of the dishes and the restaurant, but rather by the passion for Turkish cuisine and the desire to represent it. Go to Berlin, visit Turkish restaurants in and outside Turkey, where there is competition, then experience what it means to live and experience the love for quality, service, attention and politeness. Rarely have I experienced a more impersonal and unpleasant experience in a culinary atmosphere that advertises warmth and flair. Save yourself the wrong feeling. Only the courteous waiter saved the stars.

Sehr schlechter Service und völlig überteuert. Nachdem wir als Paar in eine Ecke an einen 2er Tisch gesetzt wurden, lies es sich erst einmal 20 Minuten auf die Speisekarte warten…. Das Essen war gut, aber nicht so Mega das wir hier wieder unbedingt hingehen müssen. 17,50 € für eine vegetarische Börek Speise ohne irgendeine Garnitur ist schon etwas unverschämt. Ein weiterer Minuspunkt ist das hier nur Barzahlung möglich ist, finden wir überhaupt nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Dafür stand ein ATM vor unserer Nase direkt im Restaurant ;-)

A great surprise ! An attractive storefront, a beautiful terrace, chance did things well. we had a very good meal, with a perfect red Turkish wine. The service is attentive and efficient. The map not translated into French is annoying, because it is very extensive.

Ambiente ist sehr gut, schön eingerichtet, Personal ist sehr nett und freundlich, preislich fanden wir es minimal zu hoch, aber das sei mal dahingestellt. Wir haben eine Grillplatte für 2 Personen bestellt, schöne Feuershow war ınklusive, beilage ist definitiv zu wenig, wenn ich nur für eine Person eine Grillplatte bestelle, habe ich genauso viel Pommes. Achtung Adana (Hackfleisch Spieß) ist definitiv kein Adana!! Das ist eher köfte aber es hat mit Adana absolut nichts zu tun. Bestellt euch eher was anderes.
