A very nice snack bar that's almost a bit upscale. Delicious food, friendly service, reasonable prices. We'll gladly come again.

The rump steak was very good again; I've known this grill for at least 8 years.

I always enjoy coming here. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. The staff is super friendly. It can take a while when it's very busy, but that's perfectly fine.

Another very good meal; this is the second time we've eaten there under the new ownership. I must say it was better the second time. The service was very friendly, but I would have liked an ozono on the house like the first time. It brings more warmth to the restaurant. All in all, we really like it there 👍 the waiting times could be improved. It's difficult to manage with two people, of course. Unfortunately, I have to complain that there are always very few fries on the plate, so you really have to think about whether you need to order another one. But we'll be back; I think such good quality food deserves to be supported. It's difficult to keep a restaurant going these days. Perhaps use the criticism as a good opportunity to do better than its predecessor. .

The best Greek snack bar for miles around. I've been a regular customer since it opened and have almost always been satisfied. The fact that there are wait times is more of a sign to me that there are many other satisfied customers, rather than a drawback. I'm always happy to come back. The new owner is a great asset to the snack bar; he brings new ideas and visual changes, which I think have been very well received. He's in no way inferior to the old owners.

The best gyro in Marl. You can still spend your money here with a clear conscience.

Considering it's like a snack bar, it's a very nice place to sit. The food was delicious, and the price-performance ratio was good.

There was a change of ownership in the past, which hasn't hurt the snack bar; you can still get good, tasty food there at a fair price. We continue to go there and are really happy there.

If you order something without meat because the person eats vegetarian and every time you make the mistake of putting meat on it because you are so incompetent, I really feel sorry for such beings

Good evening, I have to say that I miss the old owner. Everything was better and tasted better. We ate there today and I was a bit disappointed. My water tasted like it had been sitting out for a few days, and my mixed salad consisted of 80% canned corn and beans and 3 slices of cucumber. That was never the case with the previous owners. No matter how busy it was, the salad always looked fresh, colorful, and delicious.

Dionysos Grill was our favorite Greek restaurant. We would have loved to say goodbye to the old owners. But it's all the more gratifying that it remains our favorite Greek restaurant with the new owner. The dishes taste just as good as ever. Great lesson learned from the master of the gyro 👍🏻

May 4, 2025. Two of us went out to eat. We had one Jägerschnitzel with fries/mayo and one Gyro/Tzatziki with fries/mayo. Both were tasty. The only thing was the Jägersauce. Canned mushrooms. They should use more of the mushroom water to make the brown sauce, to get the mushroom flavor. For the price (11 euros), I don't expect fresh mushrooms, bacon, or onions in the sauce. Therefore, the price/performance ratio is reasonable. It's clean, and the service was friendly. All in all, I give this place 5 stars. But the fifth star is just for the price.

The best Greek restaurant in all of Marl. I've tried many in the Recklinghausen area. This one is the best! Always fresh and super friendly. The new owner has kept the food quality and preparation the same. Accordingly, everything is just as good as before. Still 5 stars and a definite recommendation.

We eat there about once every two months. It's delicious and, above all, very reasonably priced.

Because we were traveling in Marl, we noticed the snack bar. It was simply very tasty and we all enjoyed it. Price performance was also absolutely great. There are enough seating options, which are actually plenty for a snack. If we are in the area again, we would be happy to come back.

I was a regular guest here for many years and was always satisfied until the owner changed at some point. Since then I've been there 5 times. Once I waited just over an hour until it was served. The other time the order was taken, but nothing else happened because the boss was out of town. After about 30 minutes I left. The other three times a price was charged that did not correspond to the stated prices. Therefore I will no longer visit this restaurant.

Since it has been under new ownership, things have not been running smoothly. The waiting times to order your food are unbearable! The staff doesn't understand what we order. Example We had ordered 1 wheat beer 0.5ml among other things, we received a small wheat beer 0.3ml which was not listed on the menu at all. When we asked the staff about it, they made a mistake🧐😵‍💫. We also had problems with the bill the third time we were there. They always charge too much. We had 2x gyros fries WITHOUT salad!!! They generally charge €10 for the menu even though we didn't have a salad and every time we have to tell them what we have to pay. I find that really embarrassing!!! On Saturday they wanted €28.50 from us, but according to my list it was €27.80. It got to the point where I said I wouldn't pay because we didn't have any salad! Afterwards I wrote down what we had eaten and calculated it! Then I paid each other less! By the way, the gyro was very spicy🥵 Attention ⚠️ Please always calculate everything you have eaten and drunk!! We miss the old owners, they were really into it and were happy to wait. Never never never go there again! It is enough !!!

For me the best Greek in Marl. The gyros are delicious, tender and well seasoned. There is almost never any cartilage or large pieces of bacon. Delicious. It's just a shame that the owner is very stingy with his tzatziki :)

So we've been eating there for years but since the new owner came in, the quality is ridiculous, the gyro meat is too dry, then it's cut into small pieces, fatty and absolutely not edible. Some of it looks like the last leftovers just before the end of the day and the fries look like Old fries were fried again in the deep fryer. Too bad it used to be the best in Marl

Went to the store on Sunday! Service was totally unfriendly, she said to us that she also had other guests, we waited over 2 hours for one gyro with fries, one gyro pita rolled (but it wasn't) and one pitabot with tzatziki, it was good to do but still The waiting time is simply far too long. And while we were waiting, 2 × 2 people weren't served at all and then left. I would rethink this concept so we won't be coming back

There was almost nothing going on there, 2 tables occupied. We then said goodbye by saying that it would have been nice to get something to eat... and goodbye.

I have enjoyed dining in this restaurant for at least twelve years. So far I have always appreciated the quality of the food and the value for money. Unfortunately, I now had to discover that the business is run by a new owner who is obviously overwhelmed and shows little customer orientation. In my opinion, the quality of the food had significantly decreased: the tzatziki had a different flavor and the meat served was visibly cool, probably due to prolonged storage in a drip tray. For the reasons mentioned, I will refrain from visiting in the future and encourage you to see for yourself on site.

The new restaurant operators are doing great. Great attention is paid to quality and freshness. Of course you don't have 3 waiters and 2 cooks, because then the prices might not be so "pleasant". The food always comes fresh from the kitchen and is of great quality. Keep it up, we love coming and it's always a great friendly atmosphere 👍👍

Since it's had a new owner, it's unfortunately gotten really bad... You always had to wait a while with the old owner, but now unfortunately even longer. Two people waited almost 45 minutes for a gyro plate and a gyro plate with liver. Then both dishes were served almost 10 minutes apart. Unfortunately, the liver was fried coal black and dry. Unfortunately, when the new liver was fried, it was still much too dry.

Food was mediocre, ordering was quick, but we had to wait a long time for the food Very tight in the restaurant with strollers.

Was invited. Simiteller. Liver with gyros, a salad first, I'm so full. And the dish with 10€ fries, tzatziki etc was great. Gladly again. Anyone who likes liver is in good hands here.

The baked Metaxa Gyros was the best thing I've eaten in the last few months. The meat was perfect. The sauce was slightly spicy, which not everyone will like. The price was right too.

It was no longer as tasty and good as before the change. Unfortunately, you were only served at the table after you noticed it several times. The bratwurst was made from the fat. Fries soggy. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. We used to like to go there for a Marler sausage.

Fries in the deep fryer for too long, there was more oil on the farmer's salad than anything else. The cucumber cream salad was too sweet. Unfortunately the whole thing was a disappointment and the plates remained full in the end. The shop looked very clean but there was a fly in the food.

The food from the great family tastes wonderful! You can tell that this FOOD is prepared with the heart. Keep it up….!

Sehr bescheiden und eigen. Alles ist dort so wie es früher üblich war . Keine Lieferung, wer bei Dionysos essen möchte muss vorbei kommen und vor Ort bestellen. Das Lokal ist gemütlich und das Personal ist sehr freundlich . Der Gyrosteller mit Zwiebeln war meiner Meinung nach sehr lecker und hat mir gut getan. Ich werde ab jetzt öfters dort hin fahren . Ich kann den Laden weiterempfehlen.

Das Gyros war wirklich nicht gut. Da waren nur trockene Krümel auf dem Teller. Beim Bezahlen habe ich das auch gesagt. Darauf wurde nicht eingegangen, nicht mal reagiert. Der Rest war lecker. Trotzdem gehe ich da nicht mehr hin.

Das Essen ist vorzüglich, gibt es nix zu meckern, auch die Preise...völlig okay. Service ist langsam (denke aber das es daran liegt das es wenig Mitarbeiter gibt, aber dafür viel bestellt wird) dafür bekommt man aber gutes Essen ...Ambiente ...naja 😂 eigendlich schon wieder kultig.

Ein besonderer Ort, ein Überbleibsel aus Hülser Zeiten. Hier bekommt man noch etwas für sein Geld, leckere Gerichte, mit Liebe zubereitet. Ob zum Mitnehmen oder direkt vor Ort, die Sitzgelegenheiten laden zum Verweilen ein. Hier kannst du noch ein Stück alter Hülser Imbisskultur erleben!

Seit jahren nicht entäuscht worden mit abstand das beste Restaurant in Marl.

Mega gegessen gutes Fleisch und Beilagen leckeren Zaziki. Sehr freundliche Bedienung gerne wieder. Rhodos Teller und Gyros spezial leider keine Fotos.

Zusätzlich zu dem guten Griechischem Essen gibt es dort sehr leckere Schnitzel.

Είμαι Έλληνας και κατοικώ στην Ελλάδα όμως όταν επισκέφθηκα τον Διόνυσο και δοκίμασα τα πιάτα του ήταν ΕΞΑΙΡΕΤΙΚΑ ξανά πήγα στο μαγαζί και ξανά έφαγα και θα ξανά πάω αν μου δώσεις η ευκαιρία. Οι τιμές είναι πάρα πολύ φθηνές. ΣΥΓΧΑΡΗΤΗΡΙΑ!

Super leckeres Essen. Bedienung sehr freundlich und geht auf Kundenwünsche ein. Empfehlenswert auf jeden Fall. Wir gehen immer wieder gern Essen in diesem Lokal. Auch für Partys sehr zu empfehlen.

Empfehlenswert dies Restaurant ist ein reiner griechischer Familienbetrieb. Hier gibt es leckeres Essen, Preis/Leistung passt ! Ich komme wieder !

Heute war ich dort mal essen und ich muß sagen das essen schmeckt....

Leider war die Leber total trocken und vom Grill, was den Geschmack leider kaputt gemacht hat. Die Pommes waren ebenfalls nicht mehr heiß und trocken. Gyrosfleisch von meinem Mann war auch zu trocken. Das beste war der Gurkensahne Salat und die Getränke, sowie die Kroketten.

Super nette Inhaber, nehmen wünsche wie Pommes ohne Salz oder Sauce extra ernst und sind dabei auch immer super freundlich. Essen sehr lecker und man wird super satt. Absolut empfehlenswert!!!!!!!
