Food top. Ambience loud. Hardly possible to have a conversation with 5 people at the table. Staff very hectic and tend to overlook you at the table when you want to order something.

Incredible experience, I spent 4 weeks in Germany and it feels like I've never left Italy. A place like this is very difficult to find in Italy and I even less thought I would find it in Germany. Friendly and fast service. I highly recommend tasting each dish, each dish is top notch. Special thanks to the owner who treated us like friends from the first meeting.

A great restaurant. The dishes tasted really great. Some are put together in unusual ways, but everything fits together perfectly. The staff is very very friendly. The ambience is also fine. I read the last few reviews and wasn't sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. I didn't find the atmosphere as bad as reported here. Of course it's not the ambience of a posh Italian restaurant, it's still a kind of clubhouse. But the boys did well with it. 👍

We were there on the occasion of my birthday and wanted to spend a nice evening. The food was really great and very tasty. We all enjoyed it very much. Definitely 5 out of 5 stars. However, the location, the furnishings, the decoration and the ambience have absolutely nothing to do with an Italian restaurant, but at best with a mediocre snack bar. In addition, it was so loud that you could practically not talk. Accordingly, we went straight after eating, which was certainly not planned.

The food is very good, the singing pizza chef is the best thing about the whole place. The store could be better ventilated and the ambience is still okay for a “clubhouse”.

Sweetly simply furnished, so typically Italian rural! Friendly service! In addition to fish and meat dishes, there are also vegan and vegetarian options! Some pizzas can be veganized and there is vegan mozzarella and even a separate vegan page with dishes. Pizza and the large starter plate in vegan with Keese 34 euros is totally fine! I went to the Sicilian several times after it reopened. The food is great no matter whether it's a starter, main course or dessert. You can try everything and it tastes good. If you're looking for good Italian food, you've come to the right place. The service was also very good and very attentive. The location you can still work on is a tennis court/clubhouse.

Pizza and bruscetta were very tasty. The service was good and the prices were right too. If you like Italian food, you're definitely in good hands there!

Since I always like to eat my pizza with three fingers, the base should be a little crispy, which wasn't the case in the restaurant. Then we went to the Oude Marie again, where I ordered two different pizzas and by the time the second pizza was ready the first pizza was already cold.

We reserved a table on a Saturday at 6:30 p.m. Unfortunately there appeared to be only two waiters on duty. Drinks arrived about 20 minutes after arrival. Food came after 50 minutes, second round of drinks only after the pizza had already been eaten. The pizza was very tasty, but was already relatively cold when it was served by the waiter. I would have liked to express my criticism immediately, but no one asked whether the service or the food was okay. The waiter was constantly stressed and I didn't want to cause any more trouble. The ambience has something of a tennis clubhouse, but you can almost expect that given the location. Overall, I can't recommend this restaurant for a nice Saturday evening, pizza should be taken away. Pizza is really good, but unfortunately has to deduct stars because it's already cold. Price performance is not right, 87€ for 4 people, you can expect a little more, especially if you go to a “Sicilian”.

The Sicilian has now moved - he closed his former restaurant "Head Over Heels". I can't say anything about the new location (tennis court). Once you've eaten the real Italian pizza here, you can skip all the delivery services. The starters are also the finest. There is also a great selection of Sicilian wines. Add to that the warm hospitality of the owner family and the evening is perfect. We were there on a Friday evening and the restaurant was full. Nevertheless, the service worked great and there were no long waits for the food. The location remains a clubhouse. Perhaps one or two accents could create an even more Italian atmosphere here.

New location...well tennis court!! There are still a lot of screws to be turned...no uniform crockery, some of them are broken...cutlery not appropriate in relation to the demands!...staff totally uncoordinated...food good...prices are high considering the ambience and the other comments too high!!! You can get the same quality and better service in other restaurants nearby, even in very high-quality ambiences, sometimes cheaper or at the same prices...hence only 3 stars overall!!! Today for the first time...from now on with my favorite Italian....great starter plate with lardo on freshly toasted bread with honey...great!! Everything is very high quality... Afterwards very tasty pizza...served by very nice staff. Appropriate price-performance ratio...if you're expecting the 6 euro pizza here...please don't! Quality MUST be paid for. A little tip...ambience is still a bit cool...tablecloths would help...😉

We discovered “The Sicilians” purely by chance and were thrilled! The food is excellent and the employees are super friendly and accommodating! The pizza is actually like in Sicily and put us straight back into holiday mode. We have already recommended the restaurant and will definitely go there again!

Essen war sehr gut, wir hatten Pizza und Nudeln und Salat, nur was gar nicht ging, das Zeitmanagment. Nach 1,5 Stunden kam der Hauptgang , echt zulange gedauert.

Wunderbar authentisches kleines italienisches Restaurant mit leckeren sizialischen Speisen und zauberhafter Bedienung.

Zum 2. Mal innerhalb von zwei Wochen waren wir hier richtig genial essen. Facettenreiche Vorspeisen, knackige Pizza und frische Nudeln. Heute haben wir mit der ganzen Familie bis zur 93 jährigen Seniorin einen wunderbaren Geburtstag verbracht. Die Damen im Service suchen ihresgleichen.

Super gut gegessen.Trotz vollem Haus war das Personal gut drauf. Die Vorspeisen und das Hauptgericht kamen leider nicht zusammen. Hiermit meinte ich,das beide Gäste gleichzeitig Ihr Essen bekommen.Sonst wäre der 5.Stern gekommen. Haben draussen gesessen und hatten sogar eine saubere Tischdecke....klasse.

Heute sehr gut beim sizilianer gegessen. Die Speisekarte ist mal etwas anderes, ausgefallene Gerichte und wirklich lecker. Für uns war es ein neues Geschmacks Erlebnis

Das Essen (Vorspeise, Pizza, Nudeln) ist gut, nicht vergleichbar mit einer Take-away-Pizzabude. Gute Zutaten, gut abgeschmeckt. Ob allerdings eine Pizza mit Würstchen drauf sein muss, bezweifelt ich. Die junge Frau, die bedient hat, war der Knaller: freundlich und flott im größten Stress. Was aber gar nicht geht, ist die Akustik. Wenn man am Tisch sein Gegenüber anschreien muss, ist es auch mit italienischer Gemütlichkeit vorbei. Tischdecken auf die Tische, Wandabsorber an Decken und/oder Wände! Gestresst aus einem Restaurant zu kommen wegen des Lärms ist unschön.

Mit Freunden kurzfristig entschlossen das Restaurant zu besuchen. Haben hinten auf der Terrasse gesessen sehr freundliches Personal, das bestellte Essen hat allen 4 Leuten sehr gut geschmeckt. Es ist eben keine 0815 pizzeria sondern eben mit sizilianischen Besonderheiten. Von uns volle Empfehlung.

Bin sehr begeistert von euch, komme gerne gelegentlich extra aus Schwerte um euer super leckeres Essen zu genießen und zum Personal kann ich auch nur gutes sagen. Einfach nur Top!

Dieser Laden ist eine richtige Bereicherung für Dorsten. Klein aber fein. Gute Atmosphäre. Die Bedienung sind sehr freundlich und Symphytisch! Hier fühlt man sich richtig willkommen als Gast. Das Essen ist richtig gut. Ich persönlich bin ein großer Fan der Vorspeisen Vorspeisen, welche auch groß ausfallen. Das lädt zum Teilen am Tisch ein. Der Wein dort ist richtig gut! Ich trinke eigentlich kein Rose aber ist wirklich gut! Stauder als Bier ist auch eine gute Wahl. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht ganz. Es ist ist zu günstig ! Bei euch Stimmt einfach alles und dafür darf man mehr verlangen! Danke für die tollen Abende!

Superleckere Pizza. Mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Absolut angenehmer Service.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und sind begeistert. Auf den ersten Blick könnte man bei Preisen zwischen 10 und 15 Euro pro Pizza zunächst etwas skeptisch sein, aber das ist im Endeffekt wirklich nicht der Fall. Die Pizzen schmecken richtig klasse, man merkt eine ganz andere Qualität als man vielleicht sonst gewohnt ist. Die sehr zu empfehlenden Nachtischvariationen sind wirklich originell und lecker, die Portionen sehr groß (Wir mussten uns etwas davon einpacken lassen). Fazit: Wie der Name verspricht, bekommt man hier tatsächlich richtig authentische originelle italienische Küche und das zu angemessen Preisen. Das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend! Wir werden oft wiederkommen!!

Das Essen- vor allem die Vorspeise- sehr lecker. Absolut empfehlenswert! Wer die feine italienische Küche schätzt, ist hier genau richtig. Mein einziges Problem war lediglich, dass ich mich bei all den leckeren Sachen kaum entscheiden konnte, was ich bestellen soll. Also muss ich wohl wiederkommen, damit ich mich mit der Zeit durch den Rest der Karte schlemmen kann 😇😂

Hervorragend wie immer, ist nur ein bisschen laut gewesen.

Klasse Karte. Pizzen und Pasta, die man sonst nicht bekommt. Unsere Pizza und die Pasta waren Klasse. Ein muss für jeden Italien/Sizilien Fan. Als wäre man im Urlaub. Auch die Getränke Auswahl ist Klasse. Italienische Biersorten, Klasse Wein, Cocktails und Longdrinks. Was der Herz begehrt. Absolut empfehlenswert. Auch beim zweiten war wieder alles hervorragend. Die Vorspeisen Platte ist super. Wir hatten einen Mix aus allen. Und der Service ist weiterhin super nett. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder!

Habe gestern eine Pizza Tonno telefonisch bestellt; nach Abholung und 3 minütigem Transport nach Hause Überraschung...... die gesamt Konsistenz eher Gummi artig, matschiger Belag, Rand nicht knusprig sondern auch von merkwürdiger Konsistenz. Nach "Genuss" dieses missratenen Gesamtkunstwerks dauernd Sodbrennen! Ärgere mich insbesondere, dass ich "Die Sizilianer" in der Vergangenheit auch noch empfohlen habe; aber mache ich halt ab sofort negativ Werbung!!!!!!

Grandiose Pizzen! Knuspriger, wulstiger Rand, ausgewogener Belag mit leckerer Tomatensauce. Auch die Pasta und die Reisbaellchen sind sehr empfehlenswert. Gut gelauntes Team, immer freundlich. Dorsten kann sich gluecklich schaetzen um diese gastronomische Bereicherung.
