Die Pizzabäcker in Masserberg

If you are in Masserberg you should definitely visit the Herrnhaus inn. If you like Thuringian dishes, you're in the right place. We have been there several times and have never been disappointed. The comfortably furnished inn is located slightly off the main road in beautiful and quiet surroundings. When the weather is nice, you can also enjoy cool drinks and good food on the cozy outdoor terrace. Note opening times. The price/performance ratio is great. The very friendly landlord is happy to provide information about current specialties that are not on the menu. If you have any questions about the surrounding area or sights, you will also be in good hands with the innkeeper. Conclusion: highly recommended - we would be happy to come back.

Very large portions, food is very tasty. The selection on the menu is sufficient, so there is something for everyone. Price-performance ratio is very good! I can highly recommend!!

Had spaghetti with cheese cream sauce and ham for lunch. It was a sticky lump. There was simply too little and too thick sauce in relation to the noodle. And the ham was cheap Supermart ham from a pack. Ambience not very nice. No comparison to what it was before. Very unfortunate.

The rooms are clean. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. The food is sensational!

The service is very good and nice, there is a children's kitchen to keep the kids busy. The food wasn't that full, the roast venison was extremely dry and the dish was rather carelessly prepared. Children's menu is good.
