The bell has two rooms (a dining room and a pub-like one). We had pre-ordered and it still took quite a long time for all the dishes from the kitchen to arrive (some of them were already finished eating). The sauces for the dishes only came at the very end and there was no indication beforehand that they were still to be expected. For example, the tomato schnitzel was a very dry affair. This wasn't a problem with the pork knuckle, as there was a lot of mustard served with it. It was a bit dry on the inside, but had an incredibly good crust and was a huge piece. Unfortunately, like most of the dishes we ordered, it was too undersalted. Almost everyone had to add more salt (except for the kale and the chicken with rice - they were both quite good too). The red cabbage looked like it came out of a jar, but the fried potatoes were pretty well fried. The goulash soup had very little ingredients, but the pumpkin soup was super tasty. Unfortunately, the cheese spaetzle wasn't good at all, the duck would have benefited from more orange and the dessert pancake with ice cream was nice and thick. Overall, the food was rather mixed. The service was sometimes more and sometimes less quick, but sometimes the comments and comments from the hosts were inappropriate and after 1.5 hours we were informed that another reservation was coming up and we had to be gone in 10 minutes. A tip a little earlier would have been good.

Went to the restaurant for dinner with friends today. Cozy, nice staff. Super delicious food, everything FRESH, no frozen goods!!! Price performance is right! Would love to come back.

It's a shame that it wasn't the experience we had hoped for. The first thing I was asked was if I wanted a beer. This may apply to many visitors, but since I only drink alcohol when I'm no longer driving, I had to say no and order tonic water as I often do. It worked without a hitch, only my wife's order had to be corrected because the waitress was inattentive otherwise she would have gotten a cola. The large coffee was delicious and the cup was really big. Unfortunately the burger buns were not with sesame but brioche buns. It was written differently on the card! An espresso was offered as an apology. The patty was heavily fried and fairly tasteless, as were the potato wedges. The fried egg, fried to perfection, gave the dish a special touch. The non-crosse bacon negated seemed rather disturbing and rubbery. A little more pizzazz and spiciness couldn't hurt. There are better places in Celle and the surrounding area that I prefer to visit.

We have eaten there many times and love it there. Good German cuisine in a cozy atmosphere. There is a separate smoking and non-smoking area so that all guests are welcome. You always feel like a member of the family there. It's worth making a reservation as there are only limited spaces available.

We were in Celle years ago and had a Bavarian lunch here. Since we just wanted to see if this could be repeated and we had to go to Stade for business, we drove via Celle. The detour was worth it. Really delicious food, especially the knuckle is great.

We were here this year with our daughter and grandson Alexander, as was the case last year, very satisfied. We had the beef liver, the grilled knuckle and the brawn, very good taste, good price/performance ratio, very friendly service, what could be nicer? my grandson asks, "Grandpa, let's go here again..." so, highly recommended

In einer kleinen Seitengasse gelegen, liegt dieses schöne Restaurant. Wir saßen mit 7 Leuten aus dem Ruhrgebiet heute am 30.05.2024 hier, draußen, schön in der Sonne. Alle bestellten und konsumierte Speisen waren reichlich und sehr lecker. Es gibt eine reichhaltige Speisekarte, wo eigentlich jeder fündig werden sollte. Ein sehr netter Wirt, rundete das ganze noch ab. Vielen Dank

This beautiful restaurant is located in a small side street. We sat here with 7 people from the Ruhr area today on May 30th, 2024, outside, in the sunshine. All the food ordered and consumed was plentiful and very tasty. There is a rich menu that everyone should be able to find what they are looking for. A very nice host rounded the whole thing off. Without Chi-Chi is absolutely correct, but a clean menu and table would be a good start. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. We expect home cooking to be cooked well and traditionally and not cobbled together with Maggi and sauce thickeners. We won't be returning.

We went to Ascension Day with our French friends for dinner and everyone really liked it, the food was good, homely and the boss and the staff were very nice and attentive, the restaurant is small and cozy and we can recommend it to others

I ate a knuckle and my wife ate a Jägerschnitzel. Both dishes were very good. It should also be mentioned that the prices are very moderate. We'd love to come back again.

The boss is extremely warm and considerate. The food is very delicious, especially the pork knuckle. During our stay at the Hannover booth, we were very tired from work during the day, so having a meal here in the evening can relieve the fatigue of the day. I have lived in Germany for many years and have lived in big cities. For the first time, I found a hotel with a smoking area in the small town of Celle. I was extremely satisfied. Wir haben das kleine Restaurant nur durch Zufall gefunden. Es ist klein und gemütlich. Eigentlich wollten wir nur etwas trinken, dann haben wir doch etwas gegessen, Tomatensauce und Sülze mit Bratkartoffen. Einfach nur lecker! Der Wirt ist unwahrscheinlich nett und für Späße zu haben. Wer in Celle ist sollte dieses kleine Restaurant besuchen.
