Deutsches Haus in Bad Salzungen

We stopped by for lunch. The service seemed lackluster and unfriendly. Our meal, while inexpensive, was also quite simple and tasted bland. Unfortunately, we can't recommend the restaurant.

I always eat meatloaf, boiled potatoes, and creamed mushrooms here. When my plate is empty, I purr like a cat, it was so delicious.

Very unfriendly hostess. Her only comment was, "No dogs here!" As others have said, a local retiree's lunch restaurant. They seem to make enough money from it! They should warn about this in the tourist brochure! What a pity...

We had meatloaf with mushrooms, gravy, and potatoes. We haven't had such excellent home-cooked food in a long time. It wasn't rushed, and the meatloaf wasn't a baker's fault either (breadcrumbs were used), it simply tasted delicious. The price was unbeatable: €25 for the meal and two drinks.

Extremely unfriendly service! If you only want your everyday retirees to eat there, put up a sign saying "private party"! This was our first and last time here. The most unfriendly restaurant in all of Germany!

Perfectly fine and, in my opinion, a good standard! Traditional German cuisine with a rustic flair throughout the entire restaurant.

Incredibly unfriendly! We were looking for a restaurant for lunch. When we tried to enter with our dog and twins, we were given strange looks, and when we asked about eating, we were told incredibly rudely that it was only possible under difficult circumstances! That's not what hospitality and child-friendliness should look like! It wouldn't have been a problem to say that dogs weren't welcome. But we've never experienced such rudeness anywhere! A real shame!!!

Super tasty cabbage roulade, the food was on the table quickly. The brisk service was very taciturn and emotionless. Could be a knockout for next time. be a criterion.

Anyone who eats here is on a very nice journey through time. Dishes like “Mother’s”. Taste and staff great. The warmth that has been lost almost everywhere today still reigns. And all of this at a price that you almost wouldn't think possible. Thank you for this beautiful moment.

Deutsches Haus is the right destination for anyone who loves German cuisine and atmosphere. Their sausage and schnitzels are a real pleasure for the palate, and the beer selection is impressive. Authentic German decoration and friendly staff create a pleasant environment to enjoy a real piece of Germany in the heart of the city.

Veoma ugodan boravak, ukusna hrana i ljubazno osoblje.

Sehr schönes gemütliches Lokal mit echt netter Bedienung. Hatte das Tagesgricht, Gulasch mit Klößen und Rotkraut. Es war mega lecker 😋 und echt günstig. Es waren im Umkreis die besten Klöße die ich im Restaurant serviert bekommen habe.

Gaststätte mit historischem Ambiente, rustikaler Einrichtung, freundlicher Bedienung und kleiner Karte. Wir haben das Tagesgericht "Thüringer Klöße mit Gulasch und Rotkraut" bestellt und waren positiv überrascht. Der Preis war auch in Ordnung. Gerne wieder.

Uriges, tolles Gasthaus mit gutbürgerlichen, sehr leckeren und bodenständigen Gerichten. Preis/Leistung erstklassig. Gastfreundliche Wirtin, für die ihr Beruf noch Berufung ist. Sehr empfehlenswert.

War heute zum Essen hier. Gemütlich, klein, aber fein. Das Essen war schnell serviert und hat super geschmeckt. Ein gepflegtes Bier 🍻 gab es auch. Typische deutsche Küche. Aber lecker 😋. Gastätte stammt aus dem 19. Jahrhundert. Einiges ist noch original. Serviererin ist sehr nett. Kommen gerne wieder.

Ich hatte ein paprika schnitzel bestellt, die Beilagen waren alle gut, aber das paprika schnitzel war einfach ein schnitzel mit dosenpaprika darüber. Nicht soooo toll. Sonst alles gut. Ich hatte schonmal hier gegessen da war alles gut.

Erg lekker gegeten! Goed vlees! Klein restaurant en knus, kindermenu voor 3 euro! En dan geen slappe Mc patatjes! Klein stadje maar leuk, denk in de zomer mooi met het meer. Geen pin.

Lage direkt am Marktplatz schön zentral. War sehr lecker. Nur leider gabs schon kurz vor 14 Uhr kein Cordonbleu mehr. Aber das Schnitzel mit Kroketten war gut. Bedienung ein bisschen schnippisch aber sonst wäres ja auch langweilig.
