First time here and was really great 😃 fantastic food. We both had salads. Mine with shrimp and hers basic. Very fresh and tasty. The wedges are awesome also. This was just a quick stop since we weren't really hungry but next time a burger for sure 😊 our server was attentive and sweet. The atmosphere was very cool. Loud but not extreme. We could hear ourselves talk but not have to yell. Going back soon

We've enjoyed going to Detox for years, sometimes with friends and family, sometimes alone, sometimes for a special occasion, or just for fun. It's one of our favorite restaurants and has become a staple in Landau. 💫 A definite recommendation! The food is always fresh, and I especially love the seasonal menu, which is constantly being updated, along with the well-known classics. I can especially recommend the pumpkin soup, lamb's lettuce (from the seasonal menu in autumn 🍁🍂), the schnitzel, baked potatoes, cocktails, and the house dressing 😍🥗 It doesn't really matter what you choose; it's all good, but I particularly like these dishes. We're already looking forward to our next visit 💕

We've been enjoying Detox for years, whether it's just for fun or very often when we have something to celebrate. The food, drinks, service, and cleanliness are always top-notch. However, it would be great to change the menus every now and then, or perhaps consider a different concept. Because they go through so many hands, it's not so pleasant when they look or feel "worn out."

I was recently visiting friends in Landau, and we decided to go to Detox Essen. The food was excellent (salad and pizza), and the atmosphere and ambiance were very pleasant. And a big thank you to the friendly and attentive service. Conclusion: I'll stop by again next time I'm in Landau.

Great restaurant with great service. I had a salad with peanut-coated chicken strips, and my companion had the Parmesan schnitzel with fries. We thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it. We'll be back.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was friendly and respectful. BUT they don't accept VISA cards!! Hence only 1 out of 5 stars. It was very embarrassing for me to ask my companion to pay!! And I find that unacceptable. That's why this was my first and last visit there.

We've eaten there often and have always been satisfied! We've been trying to make a reservation by phone from 5 p.m. on August 25th to 27th! No luck! I tried until 10:50 p.m. yesterday. Today, since 5 p.m., only the answering machine has been answering. It's true that the on-site guests are the most important thing, which the answering machine also says. But the fact that the potential on-site guests are so unimportant says a lot! Detox is unfortunately over for us! Even now at 9:48 p.m., the answering machine is still on because there are still so many customers in the store.... And, of course, making reservations online isn't possible...

Detox is the last restaurant/bar in Landau where you can get everything you need, like Lemon used to. Whether it's cocktails, schnitzel, pasta, salads, pizza, or crepes and waffles, everything is delicious and high-quality. You can eat comfortably and then sit back and enjoy a cocktail. Great portions, a fantastic selection, and everything is delicious and beautifully presented.

My visit to Detox Landau was an absolute disaster! I was looking forward to a salad with baked potatoes and chicken breast strips and specifically requested fried mushrooms without bacon and onions. After a 45-minute wait, hungrily awaiting our salad, the food finally arrived – but with exactly the ingredients I hadn't ordered. When I sent the dish back, I received it again, and the baked potatoes looked simply awful, as if they had been hastily slapped from an old plate onto a new one. The server even had the nerve to say that the baked potatoes on the second plate looked "okay" and that we should keep that one. This was not only rude but also completely unprofessional. I told him we were very hungry and had been waiting a long time for our food. As compensation, he offered me a piece of bread – it was ridiculous! It was simply disappointing that the server wasn't able to serve us a decent meal. Instead of showing understanding, the waiter became rude and continued to argue with us. It was extremely unpleasant when I noticed that he and his colleagues were making fun of us. A visit to a restaurant should be a pleasant experience, but this visit was anything but. I absolutely cannot recommend Detox Landau and will never go there again.

So I have to get this off my chest or I'll explode....we were in the mood for a quiet evening at 7 p.m....how and where should I begin....first I realized how many small children around 1 year old were there, naturally screaming because they were tired...then dogs of all sizes barking and smelling, being tortured by their owners to make room under the too small table...but the best was yet to come...next to us a mother with a child of around 2 years old ruined two seats, the tired child kept running towards the dogs, which I felt was risky...the lady got up and left the battlefield for the staff....perfect for children to be child-friendly, but until late at night? Dogs that bark and feel uncomfortable! When do you ever say no? Is all of this normal? Have I been brought up wrong? I don't like it when there are no rules or decency to force something like that on other people when they want peace and quiet and a nice evening...phew, the shit.....

We really enjoy coming here. The food tastes very good and the service is really nice. You can spend a few lovely hours here with great food and delicious cocktails.

We've been here several times and have always been satisfied. The food was good, as always, but the drinks were okay. I ordered a bitter lemon, apparently got a bitter lemon spritzer. I complained, got a new one... again, spritzer, or rather, diluted. Then I ordered a Coke, and the same thing happened. Coke-flavored water for €4.80. It's sad that a place that's doing so well feels the need to rip off its customers like this. If they're going to use syrup, at least the ratio should be right, otherwise I'm completely lost.

As a gesture of goodwill, I had to pay for a normal iced tea today and received a mini iced tea in return. I am a frequent visitor to this restaurant and always have the same order. Today, however, the iced tea was undrinkable and I "complained" for the first time in all these years. As a gesture of goodwill, I got the mini version to pay for the larger one. Hospitality is different. I'll think twice about coming here again next time! In this case the conditions couldn't help. On the contrary, thanks to her I at least got the mini version.

Unfortunately it was packed that evening, which made the service seem a bit stressed and it was very cramped and loud. But we all know how stressful the catering industry is and since we were very happy with the food: 5 stars :)

I was really disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. We had to wait a long time for anyone to take our order. When we wanted to order a crepe, the waitress first looked at the clock to check whether we were allowed to order anything else - that was very rude. Then things got even worse: We had to ask for cutlery twice because they simply weren't brought. The crepe with Nutella was also a disappointment: hardly any Nutella, but all the more dry dough. The service staff seemed totally overwhelmed throughout the evening, and at the end there was chaos with the bill. All in all, unfortunately not a pleasant evening. I expected much more and will definitely not be coming back.

Two friends and I went to detox again today. The waitresses, three blonde women, were all very arrogant and unfriendly to us. They sit at the bar and talk, but people look at you and don't serve you for more than 10 minutes, even though the cards are closed and we made and maintained eye contact. Meanwhile, they preferred to look at their cell phones. A little tip: when you're talking about customers, maybe you shouldn't look at them three times at the same time. We are very disappointed. The staff were friendly and attentive, so we felt like we were in good hands. Although there were small areas for improvement, overall the service was satisfactory. All in all we had a lovely evening. The combination of good food, pleasant atmosphere and friendly service convinced us and we would definitely like to come back.

Today we went on a detox for a long time. Everything started well. The service was very nice... drinks came quickly... but unfortunately the food was a disaster. I've never eaten spaghetti so overcooked. And then also totally greasy... unfortunately the fried rocket on top wasn't good either. I complained to the waitress, but nothing came apart from a "may I offer you an espresso". We almost had to force the waitress to finish clearing our table. I think she then no longer wanted to serve us. In the end I was allowed to pay the full price for the miserable dish... sorry Detox, but unfortunately that was it. We used to enjoy spending our girls' nights with you, but we'd rather not do that now. What else should be mentioned: the cocktails have been consistently delicious for years... the guys behind the counter do a great job.

Had salad with turkey schnitzel, well, it was very, very thin and dry, but for €15.90 it was a very manageable portion. The advertised sunflower seeds were missing and the supposedly freshly baked baguette had dried out interfaces. The salad was also swimming in the dressing. The rhubarb spritzer was very, very thin, it was more like mineral water with SOME flavor, well, and for a hefty €5.20 My companion's schnitzel wasn't bad, but nothing more. Conclusion: Tested and not worth another visit for us. But luckily it's all a matter of taste and everyone can decide for themselves. The staff was really nice.

It is strongly recommended to reserve a table in advance, as it is difficult to spontaneously get a seat, especially in the evening. The service is friendly, even if it sometimes takes a while before you can order or pay. Once a drink was even thrown on me without receiving any compensation, although this was an isolated incident. Prices have risen in recent years and portions have become slightly smaller, but the quality of the food makes up for this. Overall, I always enjoy coming here to enjoy the delicious dishes. My husband and I ordered food to pick up from Detox last week and were unfortunately very disappointed. While my husband's meal was really good, my salad was missing the dressing and the baked potato was so hard that I unfortunately couldn't eat most of it. After calling Detox, I was promised that someone would get back to me. Unfortunately, this did not happen. An email from me has also remained unanswered to this day. Very unfortunate. Mistakes happen, but I would have liked to have handled them differently.

Actually, the visit here should be a nice way to end after the cinema. Unfortunately it wasn't. I would have liked to give the feedback to the service, but they didn't ask for it shortly after serving or when paying. In addition, it was sometimes difficult to get the attention of the service staff. With around 40% utilization, it's a shame. The noodles in the pasta dishes are pre-cooked and are quickly warmed up again in the pan. With light pressure with the spoon I was able to mash the spaghetti :-( For simple dishes like an aglio e olio, emphasis should be placed on the ingredients. It's a shame we couldn't say that here. Better oil, fresh garlic and don't pre-cook the pasta at lunchtime, then you'll get a good dish like this.

The food is very tasty, depending on how busy the restaurant is, it can take a little longer until the food is at your table. The menu offers a good selection of different dishes such as burgers, salads and much more. The service is very good and the waitresses are friendly and on point. I think the atmosphere is very relaxing. I have another recommendation.

I've been coming here for years and like it here. You can sit outside and go directly to the cinema next door. I always have little things to complain about. Such as Wipe the table, only 3-4 balls of goat cheese with the salad. Always say something extra for bread. But overall pretty good.

At first I was a little surprised about the location, right in the middle of the cinema, but the restaurant has its own individual flair and it was phenomenally delicious!

We are very disappointed with our spontaneous visit. We ordered two burgers with fries, wedges and dip. If you read the burger menu too quickly, there will be misunderstandings about the side salad. On the menu you can choose between various side dishes. We thought it was part of it. Well, not bad. Salad was ok, although charged extra for €5.95. Ordered the Mexico burger medium and it arrived cold and well done. Has been redone. Meat completely bland. The wedges are totally greasy. The veggie burger with fried vegetable patty was very greasy, the paper base was completely soggy and unsuitable if you wanted to eat the burger with cutlery. The fries and dip were good. By the way, we are still waiting for the dessert we ordered. Maybe it's better that way, we definitely won't come back for dinner. Rather for a cocktail before going to the cinema.

The reservation was problematic because it wasn't registered and they even asked for the phone number after we had already gotten a table. As a result, almost an hour after our arrival we still weren't served and didn't even have any drinks. The drinks were stale with the only comment from the staff being 'the system seems to be okay, we always seem to serve with so little carbonation, if we brought new drinks they would taste the same' which we asked after over half an hour of repeated requests received on the topic. The food and the ambience were okay given the circumstances, although nothing special or even worth recommending.

So you get a lot for your money. The food tastes very good, is beautifully prepared and fresh! The service was friendly. Super Lokal. Tolle Speisen, Ambiente top. Man sollte nur reservieren.

Hatten uns auf diesen Abend gefreut, da wir schon einige Empfehlungen von Bekannten hatten. Leider wurden diese nicht erfüllt. Wir hatten für 18 Uhr einen Tisch reserviert und waren ca. 5 Minuten vorher da, leider war dieser noch bis 18.05 Uhr besetzt.... ok. Nachdem wir unser Essen ausgesucht hatten und bestellten, nahm es schon einen untypischen Verlauf. Der bestellte Radler war keiner, die Hauptspeise kam vor der Vorspeise, als die Hauptspeise zurück ging und da die Vorspeise erst zu essen sei ..... natürlich ohne das bestellte Brot..... Dann kam die Hauptspeise wieder, leider war es die ca. 25 Minuten vorher zurückgegebe.... Mein Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln waren nur lauwarm, der Hamburger mit Pommes- war kalt...... Schnitzel (widerwillig gegessen) aber nur halb....(meine Schuld) Hamburger kam nach 6 Minuten wieder- warm aber nicht mehr frisch, meine Vermutung (Mikrowelle). 2 Bissen gegessen stehen gelassen...... Bedienung (sehr bemüht) nahm die Reklamation auf mit dem Verweis es weiterzuleiten und bot uns 2 Espresso an. Soweit, so schlecht. Rechnung von 78,90 € habe ich bezahlt - und trotz auf 85 € erhöht (Bedienung kann ja nichts dafür). Habe diese Situation noch mit einem der Manager besprochen, leider nur Entschuldigung (eher so lapidar) Ich hätte einen Gutschein angeboten.... Ich finde: Kritik sollte nicht negativ aufgefasst werden, sondern auch als Ansporn. Denke für uns war der erste Besuch gleichzeitig der letzte. Die am nebentisch sitzenden Gäste schüttelte auch schon mit dem Kopf, traf es auch sie, mit einem erkaltenem Schnitzel..... auch nicht lustig.

Wir waren schon sehr oft hier Essen und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Selbst bei meinen diversen Allergien und Unverträglichkeiten nimmt man sich die Zeit (auch bei viel Trubel) mir Gerichte zu empfehlen. Das gleiche Maß an Freundlichkeit und Professionalität trifft auf die Barkeeper zu. Man kann sich auch sehr angenehm mit den Jungs unterhalten während man an der Bar auf einen Tisch wartet. Die Speisekarte bietet eine breit gefächerte Auswahl an Gerichten, sodass jeder etwas findet - egal ob vegan, vegetarisch oder man doch eher der Karnivor ist. Die Qualität des Essens war bei unseren Besuchen immer tadellos. Man schmeckt, dass die Gerichte frisch und mit Liebe zubereitet werden. Die Atmosphäre ist der Location entsprechend energiegeladen. Es ist immer etwas los, dennoch gelingt es durch die gemütliche Einrichtung und das gedämpfte Licht eine schöne Esskultur zu schaffen. Man sollte beachten, dass zu gewissen Uhrzeiten viel los ist (wie in den meisten beliebten Lokalen) und man frühzeitig reservieren sollte. Wenn man plant das Kino im Anschluss zu besuchen, bringt man am besten etwas Zeit mit. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hier her und freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch!

Leider muss ich die Rezension heute auf Grund eines Haar in meinem Essen schreiben. Ich machte nach der Entdeckung den Kellner darauf aufmerksam, der nahm das Haar mit dem Kommentar,,oh das ist nicht schön ich entsorge es...." und ging. Nicht einmal nachgefragt ob ich etwas anderes möchte oder so. Seine Kollegin räumte meinen fast vollen Teller nach einer Ewigkeit ohne Nachfrage ab. Auch auf der Rechnung erfolgte kein entgegenkommen. Bei Nachfrage bzw noch maligem aufmerksam machen der Situation wurde sich einfach doof gestellt. Dann besser nur was trinken hier.

Burger war sehr lecker. Bedienung nett und Aufmerksam.

Mittwoch Pizzatag Pizza + Getränk zum Preis der Pizza. Aber Vorsicht! wenn man mehr Umsatz macht und ein größeres Getränk bestellt, dann wird man regelrecht abgezockt und es wird richtig teuer: Dann wird das Getränk KOMPLETT berechnet, also teure Grund-Pizza + großes Getränk. Es wird auch nicht darauf hingewiesen, dass das große Getränk extra geht und komplett und nicht ggf. Anteilig extra berechnet wird. Bei einem stolzen Preis von 12 Euro für eine Scheibe Hefeteig nur mit Tomatensoße und Käse (und ungefragten, ungewünschten und unangekündigten Tomatenscheiben) empfinde ich das dann schon als unverschämt.

Wir haben hier unsere Weihnachtsfeier gefeiert und es hat alles super gepasst- die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, das Essen bei allen sehr lecker, die Cocktails sehr gut und die Preise allgemein akzeptabel 👍 es war auf jeden Fall ein sehr schöner Abend ☺️
