Ambiente und Essen sehr gut, Service leider sehr langsam geworden. Ansonsten absolute Empfehlung!

Die Gulaschsuppe ist nur zu empfehlen. Das gleiche gilt für die Torten. Leider war die Bedienung sehr unfreundlich. Schade, vielleicht hatte sie einen schlechten Tag.

Sehr gut gegessen und getrunken

Dreckige Toiletten, generell dreckiges Lokal. Der Burger komplett kalt. Die Pommes waren kalt bis Lauwarm. Vermutlich alte fritierte Pommes die nochmal kurz ins Fett geworfen wurden. Schnitzel war auch aus der Friteuse und trifte vor Fett. Für 60 Euro eine absolute Unverschämtheit. Wir kommen nicht nochmal wieder.

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben eine Nacht mit dem Camper dort verbracht. Geweckt wurden wir morgens von den Eseln 😊, die auf der Nachbarweide stehe, Hühner und Gänse laufen dort frei herum, jedoch nicht auf der Wiese mit den Stellplätzen. Der Stellplatz ist gebührenpflichtig, Strom und Wasser sind im Preis inklusive. Nachts war es sehr ruhig und wenig Durchgangsverkehr auf der Straße. Das Personal in der Gastronomie ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Preise sind angemessen und das Essen (Schnitzel/Burger) war reichlich, lecker und sehr schnell zubereitet. Der etwas höhere Preis pro Person ist den reichlichen Getränken geschuldet 🍻. Wenn eine größere Gruppe von Radfahrenden einkehrt, kann es zu Verzögerungen im Service führen. Dafür sollte man aber auch Verständnis aufbringen. 🤗 Vielen Dank dafür! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Perfect for a break during a bike tour. The food is really good and plentiful. We go there several times a year, whenever we don't have time for longer tours. Highly recommended!

Great location and a great place to stop for a bite. The service? There are some nice staff members and unfortunately some not so nice. Yesterday we were served by a woman who was very unfriendly and unmotivated. Since she didn't serve us at the table, we went directly to the bar, and she didn't like that at all and made it very clear to us in a very harsh tone that this wasn't allowed. The woman who took our payment, however, was very friendly. Otherwise, it's great. Dogs are allowed inside. The location is good and it's highly recommended.

Great camper spot, you're face to face with donkeys, sheep, etc. Nice toilets and a nice restaurant, what more could you want?

Located on the way from Lippstadt to Hamm, I always drove past it and didn't notice it. Recently visited for the first time. Nice location, good food, friendly and attentive service. Also recommended with children. There are donkeys next door to pet.

For me everything is right here. The service is always very attentive and friendly. There is a lot to look at and be amazed by the location itself. My highlight are of course the donkeys in the outdoor area. The food is always fresh, hot and delicious. A special plus point for me is that four-legged friends are also welcome and receive a warm welcome. People like to go here. :)

Rustic atmosphere and a large beer garden that is well used when the weather is nice. The food was very good and the service was very nice.

Very nice, cozy restaurant with a great ambience. The service is super friendly and attentive. We were asked several times if everything was OK or if we needed anything else. The food always comes super quickly and when it's full, 2 cute robots are used to serve the drinks. Totally cool. The prices are okay and the food is delicious too. The meat is juicy, the fries are crispy and the portions are large. In summer you can sit nicely in the courtyard or out at the back onto the meadow. There are places to sunbathe or enjoy a beautiful sunset in the evening. There are also 3 donkeys on the meadow that are super cute and trusting. Class for children! We always like to come here with our motorhome to relax for a weekend and can warmly recommend the parking space and a visit to the restaurant to everyone.

Delicious food, nice team, rustic location

A gastronomy that you rarely find, if at all. Great rural flair in an equally well-maintained condition. Good food, cake and ambience anyway. If, as other guests occasionally say, an order takes a while, that's just because of the large number of visitors. You should plan for that when you see the tables occupied :) In any case, the staff are always on the move quickly, even with the sometimes very long distances to the tables on the edge of the large courtyard. If something doesn't work - no one is free from errors. I really like being there and enjoy the ambience and the friendly people, so I plan my bike tours so that I often have time to visit there.

We ate here for the first time on Friday. We were very excited! The parking spaces were relatively tight, but there were enough available. Large beer garden. Inside a nice, cozy western-style atmosphere. Two very nice waitresses. Great service. The food came relatively quickly, even though the restaurant was quite full. The food was super delicious! The portions were okay. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back! An insider tip is the cactus droplet, you should try it...

I always visit the "Saloon" on the way to Hamm for a long break, you just feel comfortable here, great ambience, great menu with lots of delicacies. Today I'm going to try the meatballs, they looked so delicious on my last visit on the way to the NRW bike tour 2024. I'm just thrilled. It's always worth taking a break here, whether on a hike or by bike, moped or car!

Nice ambience. The food isn't really convincing. Small, dark fried schnitzel, a little sauce. Fries, salad mayo from the bag. You won't find a small side salad. 18 euros for that. Price performance ratio is not right. Stopping off after a bike ride, having a drink, great. But no longer eat specifically there. This works much better elsewhere.

Both a biker meeting point (with and without a motor), an excursion restaurant and a location for events. “Rustic” tasty dishes. Friendly service. Attractive ambience, especially in the main building, which is furnished like a Western saloon.

Food was good and the quantity was sufficient. The service was attentive and friendly. 1 point deducted because there was no salad or vegetables on the menu and they sprinkled parsley all over the schnitzel and the sauce and I had to scrape off most of the sauce because I hate parsley.

Hello, we stopped there today on a bike tour and ordered a meal (schnitzel). To be honest, it wasn't good. This is definitely in need of improvement. The ambience is nice and the service is good

Great cuisine and an exciting ambience for people who love details. We were allowed to spend the night there with our campers. There was also a mown meadow and a power connection if needed. The sanitary facilities were very clean and even there the theme ran like a common thread. You are really taken care of and your wishes are always listened to. 5 Stars!

I like the saloon, especially the outside area. The tables are not too close together and are little eye-catchers everywhere, some even have a rainproof roof. The service staff are always very friendly and even when it's busier, an order can be placed quickly. There is also the option to order using a QR code and then Bonny (robot) comes and brings what you want. I give one star less for the food that can be fried and comes from the deep fryer. A slightly larger chip shop for my taste. What tastes very good is cake and ice cream. My conclusion is that anyone who doesn't have high expectations will be satisfied here. The location is beautiful, but the smell of the pigsty nearby can sometimes waft over the food, country air. I always enjoy stopping here!

This first impression is promising and raises expectations of a thematically coherent experience. When you enter the saloon, you notice that the beer garden does not completely follow the western style. Instead, the ambience seems a bit thrown together, as if different stylistic elements had been mixed together without a clear concept. This inconsistency in design can be jarring for visitors hoping for a consistent, immersive atmosphere. However, when it comes to culinary offerings, the saloon scores highly. The quality of the food is good and the drinks are also impressive. The offerings appear to be carefully selected and prepared, providing visitors with a satisfying gastronomic experience. A particularly entertaining element in the saloon are two robots that move around the room. These mechanical helpers are certainly an eye-catcher and contribute to the entertainment of the guests. However, they don't really fit the intended western style and reinforce the impression of a thrown together concept. For example, the robots could wear cowboy hats and gun belts to emphasize the charm of the saloon. A striking example of the lack of thematic coherence is the pavilion within the beer garden. Such a modern and industrial-looking element does not fit well into the ambience of a western saloon and significantly disrupts the atmosphere. This is a particular shame as it diminishes the saloon's potential to provide a fully immersive experience. Despite these deficiencies in the design, a visit to the saloon in Kesseler is still worth it. The good quality of the food and drinks as well as the entertaining robots make the stay pleasant. If you can overlook the stylistic inconsistencies, you will find a place where you can have a good time.

Just had a drink there. The food on the next table looked great. A meadow was mowed for mobile homes. It's always worth it as a stopover by bike. You can also take beautiful pictures there.

When people say “Kessler Mühle,” they now mean this store. The “Kessler Mühle” restaurant no longer exists. Now the “Saloon” is going really well. The interior exudes an atmosphere like the Karl Marx Festival in Elspe. It's definitely a matter of taste... But most customers come because of the outdoor dining and it's really good. A super nice team and a good, clear map. For example, I can recommend the veggie burger. We will definitely visit the saloon more often on our bike tours.

Everything was very good The pizza and the edge of the dough are simply delicious but there is a lot of cheese on it. I was able to peel off a whole bunch of cheese. Please put less cheese on the pizza 🫸🫷

The ambience for a saloon is very well done. A great gimmick are the two ordering robots, which also make meow sounds when petted by children. Service was actually very good, but it was also empty between meals. The food is satisfying and there are also fresh daily specials that look delicious.

Were there on May 2nd, it was very, very crowded and loud. You had to get your own drinks and food. Manta plate (French fries and currywurst) for 7 euros is ok... unfortunately the fries were soggy and not a bit seasoned. Maybe everything had to happen quickly because there were so many people there. You should visit on another day. Ambiance is really great.

If you like the wild west, this is the place for you. The donkeys are so cute.

The waitresses are very friendly and the food is really okay. The reason for the bad rating is the owner's completely outrageous handling of objections. A waitress had a mishap at our table and tipped the tray of drinks over the table - there were three of us - one was pretty "showered" - the other two got relatively little. That's not great but it can happen. The waitress politely apologized and brought new drinks. That actually could have been a good thing. But one of the new drinks was warm and we complained about that. The boss then comes to our table and explains that the drink comes from the refrigerator and that you can't always get new drinks here. I then tried to explain the situation... After half a sentence the man interrupts me and asks if I would like to tell my life story... I was flabbergasted. I couldn't think of anything else to do other than ask for the bill. The boss then whispers that of course I'll get the bill or whether I think I don't have to pay... I was almost speechless. In short: never again! It's actually a shame because we've been here often and really enjoyed it. Edit after owner's reply: I consciously assessed objectively. In your answer you don't respond to the criticism at all but shoot back in an unobjective manner. That says everything.

Mr. Wilkes is generally known to be extremely engaging and unifying. He had been looking forward to visiting their location for a long time. Top in every respect, eat enough and good

We have been there with the motorhome for the third year in a row. Hospitality/friendship, service and quality are maintained to the maximum here. Super friendly team and extremely personable boss! From the bandit schnapps to the location, everything was cool.... and then a Miss Kitty Burger and we felt surrounded by the backdrops of "Smoking Guns", Festus and Co... sensational and again and again! ... and Nunak (our dog) thanks us for the extra portion of treats.

Wo gibt es noch soooo coole Lokatians. Manchmal mit Live Musik und drinnen wie draußen für jeden der perfekte Platz dabei. Essen ist gut vom Snack bis zum Schnitzel. Preise absolut ok. Mehr kann man nicht erwarten.

Schöner Innenhof zum Sitzen. Ein Stop mit dem Motorrad lohnt sich immer.

Ich war mit einer Gruppe von mehreren Freunden da. Wir hatten gehört, dass das Essen gut sein soll. Spoiler: War es nicht. Es gab div. Burger und eine Portion Bratkartoffeln mit Spiegelei. Die Burger Buns waren trocken und steinhart. Mein Hackfleisch Patty war totgebratene Supermarkt TK Qualität und insgesamt auf sehr niedrigem Niveau. Gemessen an dem Preis von 11,20€ absolut lachhaft. Ebenso auch der Burger meiner Begleitung. Hier waren offenbar die Pattys ausgegangen- er hatte eine frittierte Frikadelle auf seinem Burger zu ähnlichem Preis. Wenn man nun noch beachtet, dass bei den Getränkebestellungen zunächst noch die Heißgetränke vergessen und später dann die Falschen gebracht wurden, bleibt doch ein eher durchwachsener Eindruck. Mein Fazit dieses Besuchs: Preis / Leistung passt nicht zusammen und ich denke, unsere Gruppe wird die Lokalität wohl sobald nicht wieder ansteuern. Schade eigentlich, da die Örtlichkeiten eigentlich sehr schön sind. Das alleine reicht aber leider nicht.

Ich war zum erstenmal dort. Wir waren Teil einer Hochzeitsgesellschaft. Leider war der Platz für eine Hochzeit nicht gut vorbereitet. Bei besonderen Anlässen müsste man hier etwas detaillierter ins Gespräch gehen nehme ich an. Das Personal war jedoch sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen war lecker und das generelle Ambiente sehr gut. Gerne wieder 🙏🏻👍
