Very expensive and dry burgers with poor quality meat (pieces of cartilage in both patties), no hair covering and a huge beard hair between the fries. Not nearly eaten... There was also an attempt to cheat on the change.

Diverse menu that, in addition to many burger variations, also has a few other dishes to offer. There are definitely special features and also vegetarian and vegan dishes. Friendly advice from the boss/cook. The service seemed very overwhelmed. Apparently she had only been there for a few days. The prices were fair. We'll be back.

We ordered there via Wolt, the prices are a complete disgrace, €20 for a ridiculous burger with no side dish!

Well, let's say out of 50 burger shops there are 49 better ones that do the burgers. It's not our taste. The meat smelled funny. Not to be differentiated, but different. The black bread was hard as a rock, definitely not fluffy enough. The taste was OK. No highlight sauces or anything like that, just kettup and cocktail sauce that anyone can do...it's a shame. It was also a shame that we also had a hair in the ketchup. Thums doubt, not good, no more loading for us..... And wayllllll too "expensive" for the quality.

We ordered delivery from this location. Hour delivery time is fine if the food wasn't completely cold. The burger was ordered medium and unfortunately it arrived completely dry and well done. A large portion of fries is just as big as a small portion. Unfortunately these were not salted at all. The accompanying Joppie sauce simply tasted like ready-made burger sauce. Unfortunately the coleslaw had absolutely no taste. A total of €60 for a below-average burger, cold fries and a bad coleslaw is a complete disgrace.

I saw the restaurant at MLDL and therefore visited it. Unfortunately I'm not convinced, Falafel Burger very dry, little sauce. French fries good, but extremely small portion in relation to the price. The menu is almost falling apart and looks dingy, as does the toilet, which was missing both toilet paper and towels. I probably won't come here anymore.

Our visit today was nice on the one hand, but also really worrying on the other. Everything was very nice in the restaurant, our dog was also allowed in, the female waitress was really nice and tried to accommodate us. So far everything is fine. The drinks were served and yes, oops it wasn't a non-alcoholic beer, but one with 5%. Oh, it doesn't matter, we didn't have to drive anymore and the waitress was genuinely sorry. We waited about 45 minutes for our food. The standard roll I asked for before looked completely different than what was pictured. I still don't care, but my daughter doesn't like sesame. Among other things, we ordered a sheep's cheese burger menu with spinach, seasonal vegetables, eggs, jalapenos and Joppie sauce with Belgian fries. The meat was tender, the bun was delicious, and the ingredients were quite fresh. Unfortunately the spinach was missing, the seasonal vegetable was a slice of tomato and the egg was a fried egg, which was so soft that it leaked and smeared the entire burger including the plate. Other menus were clearly labeled with the term fried eggs, I personally assumed it was a hard-boiled egg and the very raw state didn't suit my taste at all. The fries that were included were not completely cooked through and were so manageable that you could almost count them at a glance. Price: €16.90 When the other waitress asked if everything tasted good, I kindly said that it was very tasty, but that I missed the spinach, which I really like, and that the egg was too soft for me. What's more, it didn't appear as a fried egg in the otherwise detailed description of the dishes. The answer was simply: Spinach was out and some people like their eggs so soft. I then just said that it would have been very nice to inform me about swapping spinach for a wilted leaf of lettuce. Calling the egg a fried egg because such a runny egg is inappropriate on a burger. The bill then showed one beer too many, which we could still complain about. Finally, we kindly pointed out that Google had stated different opening times than the website. This comment was also acknowledged by the male waitress with a shrug of the shoulders and dismissed with: “That’s the way it is!” 60 € for two adults and a children's portion is a good price, but the food is not convincing enough and the organization is too unstructured. Anyone who has a sense of humor will find a spark of truth on the sign in the ladies' room: I'm better at kissing than cooking!

Best burgers in town. Thank you for everything. Gladly again and again. Idealism and perfectionism ensure a culinary experience.

Extremely satisfied: I had a gluten-free beef burger with goat cheese, with fries and dip. Super tasty. Where can you get delicious gluten-free versions that are toasted separately so that no wheat is touched? Absolute recommendation!

Sehr sehr lecker und glutenfrei möglich! Als Mensch mit Zöliakie ist es nicht einfach auswärts zu essen. Hier ist es möglich! Ein besonderer Burger mit vielen leckeren frischen Bestandteilen, Falafel, Ziegenkäse, Pfifferlinge (saisonal), Erdnusssauce...leckere belgische Pommes und selbst die Saucen selbst gemacht! Sehr lecker und hier kennt man sich aus. ❤️

Tach ihr hungrigen Mitesser 😅 Hatte gerade den "dicken Bub" im Dicken Bub. Leider schon weg bevor ich an das Foto dachte🤷🏻‍♂️ Ein extremes Schwergewicht und saftig bis zum geht nicht mehr....ich find's ganz toll Spiegelei is auch drupp....Klasse A Die Süßkartoffelpommes ein Schmaus und dazu...eine Mango Soße...perfekt sach ich euch. Da müsst ihr wat essen!

Bijzonder enthousiaste eigenaar die met zijn vrolijke en gastvrije vrouw dit leuke restaurant runt. Ze maken het voor iedere gast tot een feestje. Het restaurant heeft een leuk terras in de winkelstraat en de menukaart is zeer uitgebreid. Ook bijzonder veel vegan en vegetarische opties. De burgers die wij hadden waren stuk voor stuk verrukkelijk. Er wordt hier duidelijk met veel passie gekookt. Ben je op doorreis en wil je eens wat anders? Draai de A3 af en in 5 minuten ben je bij Der Dicke Bub. Doen!

Das Essen ist sehr gut und auch entsprechend im Preis. Der Service sehr gut. Alles wird frisch zubereitet. Man macht es halt dafür nicht oft.

Nette schnuckelige burger location... Gute Auswahl an Burger Menüs ; sogar vegan Laktose und glutenfrei zur Auswahl... Auch Bürger zum komplett selbst zusammenstellen... Alle Zutaten frisch auch die paddies... Echte belgische Pommes und belgisches Bier... Da zahlt man gerne mal ne Euro mehr... 👍

Der Dicke Bub ist in meinen Augen auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Wir haben dort alle einen Cheeseburger mit Pommes gegessen. Meine Kinder hatten den Burger mit der Glutenfreien Variante. Aber auch die Pommes überzeugen komplett. Zudem wird man als Gast sehr herzlich empfangen und betreut. Ich werde auf jeden Fall nochmal wiederkommen um weitere Burger zu probieren. Besonders toll ist es, dass auch meine Kinder dort essen können, da es glutenfreie Burger gibt. Vielen Dank für das leckere Essen 😊

Nur durch Zufall sind wir auf den kleinen Laden gestoßen, da wir nach einem Imbiss mit glutenfreien Burgern gesucht haben. Hier habe ich einen der leckersten Burger bekommen inkl. hervorragenden Süßkartoffelpommes. Die Portion war ausreichend und ich pappsatt! Das Essen schmeckte frisch und war schnell zubereitet. Gerne wieder!

Die Burger sind frisch und super zubereitet. Der Besitzer kocht it viel Herzblut und auch die Pommes und Saucen sie excellent. Die Knoblauch-Kräuter-Essig Sauce ist ein Muss! Wir werden hier wieder essen.

Preisleistungsverhältnis angemessen. First class Fleisch sowie auf Bestellung frisch zubereitet.

Burger war in Ordnung, aber nichts spektakuläres. Die Pommesportion mit einem Souffleschälchen fand ich für 3,50€ ganz schön teuer, egal ob die aus Belgien kommen oder sonst woher....

Burger-Feunde aufgepasst! Sehr schlichtes Lokal in der schlebuscher Fußgängerzone. Serviert mit die besten Burger in Leverkusen. Saisonale Gerichte und verschiedene Burgervarationen, die es immer Wert sind ausprobiert zu werden. Der Service ist super und hat immer ein Lächeln über. Kann es nur empfehlen.

Erstklassige Qualität und sehr freundlich! Für jeden einen passenden Burger im Angebot und die wahrscheinlich besten Fritten in der Region. Dazu hausgemachte Saucen. Dringende Empfehlung!

Wir waren heute vegetarische Burger im dicken Bub essen. Sehr leckere frische Burger, als Beilage gab es die belgischen Pommes. Sehr zu empfehlen 👍geschmacklich wirklich klasse. Für das nächste Mal würde ich jedoch noch eine Vorspeise wählen oder eine zusätzliche Portion Pommes😅 Mir gefällt besonders, daß dieses Restaurant viele vegetarische und vegane Varianten anbietet. Auf der Karte gab es sogar glutenfreie Alternativen 👍 Für Rollstuhlfahrer sind die Innenräume nicht gut geeignet, da man ein par Stufen gehen muss, ebenso zu den Toiletten. Aber als Lösung gäbe es die take- away Variante. Dankeschön für das leckere Essen 🪷

Sehr leckere Burger, gute Pommes, das Essen schmeckt und das Personal ist hilfreich und nett! Die Räumlichkeit ist im Winter manchmal etwas kalt. Fritz Cola ist nicht unbedingt Jedermanns Sache.

Der Bürger war leider nicht so lecker! Service und Ambiente jedoch sehr nett.

Wir haben heute im Laden gegessen und waren mit der Qualität des Burgers sowie der Pommes nicht zufrieden. Der Burger war durchschnittlich und das Verhältnis von Patty und Brötchen stimmte nicht, auch die Pommes waren noch sehr mehlig. Die Qualität der Speisen sowie der Service stimmt nicht mit dem Preis überein. Leider keine Empfehlunge mehr, so wie es früher einmal war.

I made a short, lunchtime visit to Der Dicke Bub recently to finally check it out. I placed my order at the counter and then went to sit down on one of the stools for my hamburger and chips to be freshly prepared. I chose the chilliburger, the smaller, 140 g version with jalapenos, tomatoes, raw red onion rings, slices of gherkin and spicy Samurai sauce. This was impressive & delicious - I ate it with a knife and fork to avoid getting it all over my suit. I also had a small portion of the Belgian styled chips and a generous helping of Samurai sauce. These were nice but the owner did admit that he is still trying to perfect the frying methods here, adjusting to the difference between the typical way that Belgians would fry their chips with the expectations of a German clientele. I would prefer them to be less crunchy... I washed this down with a bottle of Fritz Spitz - bio grape juice (the non fermented variety) and mineral water.

Esse hier seit Jahren die besten Burger, die es in NRW gibt. Essen ist immrr schnell da, selbst wenn der Laden voll ist. Das Halloween-Spezial hat super geschmeckt.
