Kartenzahlung von 12,50 € wurde vom Kellner im Außenbereich mit einer dreisten Ausrede („unter 20 € geht in ganz Rothenburg nicht“) und eines unpassenden griechischen Ausdrucks verweigert. Erst als ich gehen wollte, wurde die Karte genervt und mit Augenrollen doch noch akzeptiert. Extrem unverschämt. Nie wieder

Hallo , wir waren 2x da , einmal nur auf ein Getränk , was für die netten Bedienungen vollkommen ok war, sehr nett und fröhlich, am nächsten Abend zu Gyros mein Mann, souvlaki für mich, sehr lecker sehr reichhaltig und incl. Beilagen Salat, was nun heute nicht selbstverständlich ist. Die Herren Bedienung ,sind aufmerksam und sehr bemüht, das Essen war Super lecker und kaum zu schaffen. Jederzeit gerne wieder, im Urlaub sollte man entspannt Essen gehen und nicht nur nach Nichtgefallen suchen! Mensch bleiben und genießen 😌 Dankeschön 🙃

Schlechtester Grieche ever Gyros und Spieß trocken, ohne Zaziki nicht runter zu bringen Zuviel Fleisch und nur ganz wenig Pommes Ouzo gibt es nur für spezielle Gäste

Es war einfach fantastisch und für die Portion und Qualität ein super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ich hatte die Fischplatte, und der Tintenfisch war so knusprig und geschmackvoll, ohne dass die Panade zu dick war – man konnte die Frische des Tintenfischs richtig schmecken. Wir hatten auch Lamm bestellt, und zu unserer Überraschung lagen fünf Lammkoteletts auf einem Teller. Alle perfekt zubereitet, weder zu roh noch zu durchgebraten. Alles war sehr saftig, zart und lecker. Das Beste war, dass alles perfekt gewürzt war, ohne zu salzig zu sein. Das Personal war außerdem super freundlich!

Ein wirklich gemütliches kleines Lokal, dessen Terrasse uns auf Anhieb verzaubert hat 😊 Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und direkt und sorgt für eine rundum angenehme Atmosphäre. Das Essen ist köstlich, die Portionen sind großzügig und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hervorragend. Wir glauben, wir haben sogar den Besitzer kennengelernt, der genau so ist, wie man sich einen perfekten Gastgeber vorstellt: direkt, aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Super freundliches Personal und TOP Essen zum fairen Preis!

Ich habe Gyros bestellt und war begeistert; ein ausgewogenes Gericht mit viel Gemüse, reichlich Fleisch, schneller Service und der Kellner war sehr aufmerksam. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Waren zu zweit am Montag, 23. März zum Abendessen. Man spürt sofort, dass das Haus inhabergeführt ist. Chef freundlich und zuvorkommend, gastfreundlich, das Essen sehr sehr gut und mehr als reichlich. Vielen Dank - kann ich absolut nur empfehlen.

Können wir leider nicht empfehlen. Das Fleisch war nicht duch,und such noch lau warm. Preis Leistung Stimmt nicht. Da gibt's bessere.

Das Essen war gut. Die Portionen waren groß. Das Personal war freundlich. Ein Schweinefleischgericht mussten wir zurückgehen lassen, da es nicht durchgegart war. Ansonsten war es ein voller Erfolg.

-1 Stern; war am Weihnachtsmarkt und fragte den Service freundlich, ob ich bei ihm kurz auf die Toilette dürfte, er Nein weshalb? Ehrliche Antwort? Weil ich dringend aufs Klo musste! Naja schade hätte gerne mit meiner 16 köpfigen Truppe diese Gaststätte zum Abendessen besucht! Jedoch wer so UNFREUDNLICH zu seinen künftigen Gästen umgeht,, verdient den Umsatz der 16 köpfigen Truppe leider nicht!

Wir waren während der Zeit des Weihnachtsmarkts in dem Lokal. Wir hatten eine Gulaschsuppe bestellt für 6,50 €. Die Suppe war sehr klein und es waren nur einige, wenige, kleine Fleischstückchen darin. Auf Nachfrage beim Kellner reagierte dieser sehr unhöflich und nahm die Suppe einfach wieder mit. Es wurde keinerlei Alternative angeboten. Sie wurde natürlich bei der Abrechnung mit auf die Rechnung gesetzt. Daraufhin erfolgte eine Diskussion mit dem Chef des Lokals. Einmal und nie wieder!

Wir haben heute Abend köstlich gegessen. Der Kellner war super freundlich. Wir haben sogar einen Ouzo zum Bezahlen bekommen, total nett! Wir hatten Pommes mit zwei Lammkoteletts. Die haben super geschmeckt! Auf jeden Fall einen weiteren Besuch wert. Ich kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Kaum Wartezeit obwohl es gut besucht war. Das Ambiente ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Ich mache das schon seit Jahren. Es ist alles gut :) Ich empfehle die Calamari ;)

Wir haben drei Nächte in Rothenberg verbracht und zwei davon in diesem Restaurant gegessen, weil das Essen so gut war. Einmal hatten wir Bratwurst mit Sauerkraut und ein anderes Mal mediterrane Gemüsevorspeise. Beide Gerichte waren ausgezeichnet.

Insgesamt eine enttäuschende Erfahrung. Wir hatten uns kaum hingesetzt, als wir schon zur Bestellung aufgefordert wurden. Wir hatten noch nicht einmal die Vorspeise aufgegessen, der Hauptgang wurde „weggeworfen“. Das Essen war okay, ohne Wow-Effekt. Der negative Kellner hat das Gesamterlebnis ruiniert.

Eine wirklich einladende Bar/ein Restaurant. Wir gingen auf einen Drink hinein und verließen das Restaurant nach einem sehr leckeren Essen.

Das Essen war köstlich. Wir wurden auch sehr freundlich bedient. Obwohl es sich am Marktplatz befindet, war es nicht zu voll, sondern ein angenehm ruhiger Ort.

It was one of the best Greek restaurants I've ever visited in my life. For me, the quality of the food is always very important...and the service. In this case, the visit was last Saturday...even though there felt like 1,000,000 people in Rothenburg for the wine festival...the visit to Delphi was simply SENSATIONAL. The head host lives his profession...is a real old-school guy...and his wife in the kitchen...prepares the excellent dishes with every skill. We were completely satisfied with the food. The portion was filling, and we were treated kindly. :) There is seating inside and outside. The service is fast, and we were seated quickly both times we were there.

We were initially a little put off by the negative reviews, but were largely convinced otherwise. The staff were consistently friendly and accommodating, and the food (hunter's schnitzel and pork loin) was okay/good. We didn't quite like the ambiance, as everything seemed very hectic and it had a somewhat old/rustic/dirty feel, which was also evident in the restrooms. All in all, a nice restaurant for a casual meal, but not recommended for a romantic dinner ;)

Unfortunately, we had a thoroughly negative experience at this restaurant. We were treated very rudely right from the start. The waiter was extremely unfriendly, irritated, spoke to us in an impertinent tone, and even snapped his fingers several times to get our attention – absolutely disrespectful. I wanted to leave the restaurant immediately, but since we were traveling with children, we stayed with a heavy heart. A huge mistake: All the adults in our group got severe food poisoning after the meal and were off work for a week. Luckily, the children only had schnitzel and fries – the only thing that seemed safe. This restaurant is not only disappointing, but also a health hazard. I strongly advise against eating here. Never again!

We visited this restaurant, but the experience was very unpleasant. We came to have a beer, and maybe eat something later, but when we ordered only beer at first, the waiters seemed very unhappy and even rude. We felt unwelcome as customers, so we left our beer unfinished and walked out. I definitely would not recommend this place.

We were at this Greek restaurant today, too. We had two dishes with Metaxa sauce and baked with cheese, and a salad that they simply took away without asking if I could take it with me, even though I hadn't finished it yet. We didn't like it; it seemed like it had been reheated.

The food is reasonably good for the price. The staff isn't overly friendly, but they are reserved and polite. Perfect for a simple, inexpensive meal.

Veldig stresset servitør. Bestilte Bratwurst og gledet meg til den. Menyen sa 2 bratwurst, sauerkraut og poteter. Fikk to bratwurst, sauerkraut(fra fabrikk?) og noe jeg tror var et forsøk på gratinerte poteter møter potetstappe. Denne var iskald og kjentes ut som om den kom rett fra kjøleskapet. Jeg håper den egentlig skal være varm da dette ble veldig rart. Spiste opp bratwurstene, men lot resten ligge. Min kone bestilte tomatsuppe. Den ble servert med noe som minnet om søt krem. Hun er helt sikker på at suppen kom fra pose (pulver). Den smakte ihvertfall som det... Vinen var god og trekker derfor scoren opp til 1.

Attention!!! Racists!!! There was no reservation for the table. There were two of us. When six other tables asked, we were told it was reserved. Other tables were reserved, but ours wasn't. The service was unfriendly. The worst restaurant in town. It's not worth sitting here. Scammers and liars. Racists!!!

Racists. We wanted to eat, sat down at a table that didn't have a reservation (the rest of the tables had reservations), and they kicked up a fuss and yelled at us to leave. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The portions are good. However, the taste is rather bland. I've eaten at better Greek restaurants.

This place was excellent!! Once they knew you weren't trying to just use the restroom but were going to sit and eat, they were very friendly. The stuffed meatball (more like a cheese filled meat patty) blew my mind, it was so good!! We were all happy with our meals. And of course, in traditional Greek hospitality, a shot of ouzo for everyone to finish the meal.

At first glance, a nice restaurant with a clear menu. However, the Jägerschnitzel I ordered turned out to be a pre-fried schnitzel, with a watery mushroom sauce and zero flavor. The fries were McDonald's-level, but even the fries were a mess! There was no salt or pepper available for seasoning. Never again!

Where do you begin? You were more or less pressured to order drinks and food straight away, even though the place wasn't really full. The food wasn't disgusting, but it wasn't tasty either. I wouldn't come back a second time. A few examples: the salad wasn't really prepared in an inviting way. My baked gyro wasn't what you'd expect (the pizza seasoning just didn't match). The sauce had absolutely no flavor. The gyro didn't really taste like gyros either. And if I want to eat tzatziki, garlic should be the main ingredient. Not to mention the price. Even for Rothenburg ob der Tauber, it's not worth it. Still water €4.20, Coke €3.90. Find the mistake.

The food was mediocre and the portions were quite small. For the premium prices, you'd expect more.

Good value for money. Greek style mixed grill and a German style schnitzel. We arrived short before closing of the kitchen, but they were still happy to serve us. Efkharisto!

We had two dishes with Metaxa sauce, which didn't taste good at all. It was kind of bland, with no flavor, no color, and nothing to do with Metaxa sauce. There was no free ouzo either. The gyro meat was tough, much too firm, and barely chewable. We've never experienced anything like it. But the service was very friendly, and the restaurant was pleasant, too. But if the food isn't good, you can't sugarcoat it. It's a shame, very disappointing for these prices. 👎

Told specifically to sit at a particular table, then after 10 minutes a “reserved” card was put on the table and 10 minutes later the bill was presented without being requested. “Here’s your hat, what’s your hurry?”

Omdat er veel restaurants gesloten zijn op maandag in rothenburg kwamen wij hier terecht. Nou dat was niet verkeerd. Vader en dochter in de bediening zijn vriendelijk en het eten was prima. Restaurant zat vol en buiten ook . Gewoon doen als je zin hebt in grieks eten.

We were in the restaurant with a larger group and can only say TOP. Despite the understaffed kitchen, everyone got their food hot almost at the same time. The taste (baked feta and gyro plate) was just great. Prices very fair for such a place. The landlord was very nice and open-minded. Even a latecomer got food of the same quality shortly before the kitchen closed. Please keep it up!

From the outside you don't think of it as Greek, it's more like rustic German cuisine! But you can find everything here, whether Greek dishes or classic German cuisine. It tasted very good! The owners seem a bit grumpy, but are super nice.

Delphi has the most delicious food! Perfect for a cold winter day. We got the gyros and Kreta-Teller. Both were delicious. Pro tip: try the tomato soup!

We received a very friendly welcome and were assigned a place. The atmosphere is like an older Franconian restaurant - not a fancy restaurant, but cozy. Unfortunately, the gyro was almost cold, but the rice was nice and hot. The gyro also tasted warmed up and was a bit dry. The tzatziki was again very tasty. I can definitely recommend the restaurant for lunch.

A Greek catastrophe!! This was the worst Greek restaurant we have ever been to. The 1-star reviews listed below accurately reflect our perception of this store. Actually, this restaurant is an insult to anyone who left their money there. -Poor quality -Bad ambience -Bad taste Unfortunately, we only read the reviews after our experience. The gyro was definitely not fresh from the spit, the fries were counted out, my wife's chicken schnitzel wasn't grilled well. Hunger drove it in. Apart from the fact that Greeks work there, nothing else has anything to do with it. Everyone who goes there, like us, has their own fault. Absolutely not recommended!!!!

At the Christmas market you can look at who you are sitting at the top and it goes very quickly and the staff are very friendly.

We came at lunchtime with 8 people and spontaneously got a seat. After standing around for 5 minutes, the waiter led us to our seats and threw us the cards. He then came back to take the order and looked pretty stressed, which is how he came across. He pointed his finger at the people and said louder: "And you?!". When he brought the drinks, one drink was wrong and we pointed it out to him, but he insisted that we had given him the wrong drink. 15 minutes after the starter was already there, the drink was served after asking three times. When we asked for ketchup, the waiter said he would bring it straight away. SPOILER: we didn't get any more ketchup when we paid Waiter pointed out that in the catering industry you should be nicer, more sincere and more organized. When we went out we were shouted in Greek. For food: For starters we had baked eggplant and zucchini, garlic bread and with every meal there was a side salad. The baked vegetables were quite good, just a little underseasoned. The salad was quite small but the dressing was good. The garlic bread with tzatziki was also good. For the main course we had schnitzel Viennese style, gyros and moussaka. The moussaka was ok, the gyros were also average and the schnitzels were catastrophic, packaged frozen food from the supermarket. The fries were also placed on the plate without a grain of salt. Conclusion: I strongly advise against this restaurant because the service is extremely overwhelmed and has no experience in gastronomy. Unfortunately, the food is not authentically Greek and the “German food” is prepared without any effort. And calling after someone is the bottom drawer. Unfortunately there is no 0/5 otherwise that would be my rating.

Restaurant with Greek and local cuisine. The place is beautiful and the service is fast and courteous. Right next to the Town Hall. If you are Greek and you missed tsipouro, you will find it there.

Greek cuisine without Greek taste. You can eat it but there are far better options. In our opinion, a lot of finished goods. Drinks come from the Good and Cheap Edeka bottle, the side salad was puny and tasteless. You had the feeling that you would like to get rid of the guests again. No asking if you would like drinks or anything similar. We cannot understand the good recessions.

Souvlaki and Schweinelendchen was very delicious, Dimitri was very kindly and helped for everything. I will come again and again. 👍

The moussaka was so delicious and to be honest it was the best moussaka I've had in Germany. And the service was great!

We only went there to drink beer and relax. Our dog was allowed in. The staff is friendly. We felt comfortable there even though we didn't eat anything.

I can't understand the many negative reviews. The service was quick and courteous, the food was tasty and well prepared. The price-performance ratio may not be the best, but that is due to the tourist environment. The prices are reasonable for a tourism stronghold like Rothenburg.

I had high expectations for this Greek restaurant as I love Greek cuisine. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. First of all, the food was not freshly prepared. The lettuce was wilted and the meat tasted like it had been on the grill for a long time. The portions were way too small for the price I paid. The service also left a lot to be desired. The waiters were inattentive and seemed overwhelmed. I had to ask for my drink several times and when it finally came it wasn't what I ordered. While the atmosphere was pleasant, that doesn't make up for the poor experience with the food and service. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not be coming back.

Delicious food! Tasty gyros, calamari and souvlaki. The tzatziki and pita also brought you back to Greece. Extremely nice staff, and if you thank them in Greek, you put an extra big smile on their face. Have a nice evening!

On the way home we spontaneously stopped in for dinner in the evening. The restaurant with “beer garden” has a nice location right on the market square. The service was friendly and we didn't have to wait long for our drinks and food. The food itself was okay in terms of taste but definitely not a highlight. Unfortunately, you waited in vain for a free ouzo like in other restaurants (but it's not mandatory). All in all, I would have given it 3-4 stars up to this point. Now comes the BUT: When paying, the waiter simply took the credit card from my hand and rounded up the price without asking, so that I paid €43 instead of €42.90. Of course it's only 10 cents and of course I'm a little to blame myself (I could have checked), but for me it's about the principle - you just don't do something like that! He also got an extra tip (in cash) from me. Unfortunately, I only noticed the annoyance when we were back on the motorway on the way home and was therefore no longer able to speak to the waiter about it personally.

Initially friendly staff. We started talking to another couple of Dutch people at another table. The owner wanted us to sit at their table. So that another table became available. Thank you kindly for this. Then we got another couple at our table, without asking. This was awkward. When paying, the amount was higher than we had actually drunk. We indicated this but it was not appreciated.

Etwas enttäuscht.. Das Essen lecker doch die Portion für Spatzen geeignet.. wir hatten 2x Gyros überbacken… satt leider nein … Salat gut doch müsste es was wärmer sein … und man hatte das Gefühl schnell essen und wieder weg ..

Aufgrund der relativ guten Bewertung haben wir das Restaurant besucht und wurden leider etwas enttäuscht. Die Speisen waren schon rein optisch lieblos, die Portionen sehr übersichtlich, das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis passt nicht. Geschmacklich gut. Das Beste war die gute Aussicht auf den lebendigen Marktplatz. Schade.
