Very much so. The reception was overwhelming. The food was excellent.

I went there for dinner on Friday evening with my son and brother. First of all, the food was good, we enjoyed it. But, the service was absolutely terrible. The two young girls were unbearable. One of them had a really mean look on her face, slammed the cutlery plate down on the table, followed by three ouzo glasses, half of which spilled onto the table. We had to dry it with napkins. You could tell she was completely unhappy. The only bright spot was the young man. He packed up the rest of the food for me and even smiled; he was very friendly. The man who took the money was also quite good. Despite a €10 tip, he barely managed a thank you; he'd never even heard of eye contact or a smile. Once was enough for us.

Portions are excessively large (there were 9 of us, and no one finished the whole portion). At events (we celebrated a birthday there), they talk you into buying appetizers, although almost every dish you choose comes with a starter salad. If you change something to your dish (a portion of tzatiki instead of baked feta in a Delphi salad), you're charged extra for an excessive portion. Drinks are served in 500ml glasses without asking. This is definitely not aesthetically pleasing dining anymore.

We were shopping at Bauhaus and Pflanzen-Kölle with a toddler and a baby, so we were nearby. We were hungry and wanted to try the store out anyway. As soon as we sat down, we were asked whether we wanted to pay by card or cash. This quickly put us in a bad mood. The store wasn't full during the day, and the owner constantly had to touch or charm the children. We found this excessive and pushy. Very unpleasant service. Especially with babies, you should show distance and be empathetic. Anyway, the food was okay. But it could use some renovation. If you looked closely, you saw more and more defects and uncleanliness. They took a very long time for our drinks, even though the store was empty, and well, that's why we won't be coming back. Too many things that we didn't like. In the end, we asked why they had asked us whether we would pay by cash or card. Then we were lied to straight to our faces. Instead of just telling the truth, because we all know why restaurants do that and ask. That is of course one of the main reasons, simply bad and unprofessional.

Expensive cocktails without ordering! The food and atmosphere were really okay. When we went to pay, we were asked if we wanted a "summer surprise." When we asked what that was, we were told "surprise" and we (the ladies) were brought two cocktails, each of which was charged at €8.20! Questionable, in my opinion. The waitress was nowhere to be seen... and neither was I, sorry.

Food good. Overselling a drink by making it seem like it was on the house - not good. Older waiter insisted on that and extra $20 spent … left with a feeling of being taken advantage of.

We've been coming here regularly for years, but unfortunately, I have to revise my first review. The food is still delicious and plentiful, but the service this time was disappointing. The waiter was listless and slightly unfriendly, and while serving, his clothes were dirty due to carelessness (without apologizing). Unfortunately, there were no friendly inquiries as to whether we could have anything else or whether everything was okay. Only when we tipped did a slight smile appear... That had been different a few weeks ago... Old review: "The portion was very tasty but impossible to finish, the service was very friendly. We'll be happy to come back."

Beautifully situated, surrounded by forest and the B96 highway, but with noticeable traffic noise. After a three-year hiatus, we tried again with exactly the same result: gyros about 50% very dry, dark brown. Chicken breast fillet dry and hard. Garlic potatoes greasy and very little garlic. We're from Berlin and make the long walk because of the beautiful hiking trail and ambiance, and because of the food, which used to be (more than five years ago) very good. Unfortunately, the food has deteriorated.

Today the staff was a bit unfocused but the food was delicious as always.

Good food, fast service, well-coordinated team

Favorite Greek restaurant in the area! The food is delicious, there are many vegetarian options, and they are very accommodating to any dietary changes. The service is great, and the staff are always very friendly! You always feel very welcome! We find the portions generous, so no one goes home hungry. I think the location is great; no one is disturbed, and you're practically sitting in the green. There are plenty of parking spaces right outside, and the entrance is also accessible for people with disabilities. Only the restroom is not wheelchair accessible. The tables are always very clean, and they clear them immediately when you're finished. And if you like ouzo, you'll also get your money's worth ;) See you next time, dear Delphi staff!

A large winter garden, a pleasant atmosphere, delicious food, and plenty of ouzo. Simply fantastic. A visit is a must whenever we're in the area. We were even allowed to park our RV in the parking lot.

Very good and typical Greek restaurant, as if you were eating in the country yourself. I've been there several times and have to say that the food is always of very good quality. Friendly and quick service, good portion size, everything clean and well maintained. Parking spaces are also available. Also perfect as a detour on a motorcycle tour. For me personally, I would really like a little better acoustics in the guest rooms, otherwise everything is great. Any time again and thanks to the whole Olympus team.

I won't come back. The zander fillet was well fried but with a few bones, so much for fillet. The garlic potatoes were ready-made slices from the deep fryer. If I had wanted fried potatoes, I would have ordered fries. It's not that you couldn't eat it, but it's a lot better.

Das Essen war o.k., wenn auch u.E. leicht überteuert. Der Service und das Ambiente sind jedoch Gründe, hier nicht nochmals essen zu gehen. Nach Aufnahme der Bestellung kam sofort die Nachfrage, wie man bezahlen möchte..., ein Lächeln der Kellner/innen haben wir in 1,5 Stunden nicht gesehen. Das Essen wurde teilweise nur an den Tisch gereicht, nicht abgestellt. Wortloses Abräumen der Teller- dazu: trotz Hinweises, dass ein Gast noch nicht fertig mit Essen sei, blieb der Kellner ca 1 min am Tisch stehen und wartete wortllos auffordernd darauf, dass er den Teller mitnehmen konnte. Bei der Bezahlung wurde ohne vorherige Frage ein Kartenlesegerät hingestellt- obwohl bar bezahlt werden sollte. Eigentlich ist die griechische Gastfreundlichkeit sprichwörtlich, ......Statt dessen wird man bzw. die Bestellung einfach nur abgefertigt. Man spürt den Stress und das nicht vorhandene "Miteinander" der Servicekräfte. Schlechte Erfahrung am Karfreitag und kein Grund, hier noch einmal ein lokales Restaurant zu unterstützen, schade.

Evaluation: The steak was delicious - one of the best I've ever eaten! Everything was fresh and tasted great. The salad was also super fresh and very tasty. As always, the staff was attentive and friendly. All around a great experience!

Delicious food and pleasant atmosphere The Delphi in Oranienburg is definitely worth a visit! The dishes are very extensive and really fill you up. The large side salad, which is freshly and lovingly prepared, should also be positively highlighted. The seating area is also very pleasantly designed - you immediately feel comfortable and can enjoy your meal in a relaxed atmosphere. A small negative point is the rather high prices for drinks, but given the generous portions and the overall good quality of the food, this can be overcome. All in all, a nice place for a relaxing evening with delicious Greek food!

We've been to this restaurant twice already and can only say positive things. However, it's probably more suited to large groups than couples. It's very loud and crowded, but if you're there with a lot of people, you don't notice it anyway. It was a bit quieter at the back of the restaurant, and the tables were a bit smaller. Groups are seated at the front. The food was delicious, and we were completely amazed at the generous portions. We eat out often, but I guess you can only get portions like that there! The service was quick and friendly; all in all, we'll be back. Card payments are also accepted. And there's a huge, free car park. I'm adding to my post today: We were there yesterday, Tuesday late afternoon, and it wasn't crowded. There were no large groups, making it a great place for couples. Groups tend to come more on the weekend. The food was excellent again, and the service very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back! Thank you!!!

We've been there several times because my father likes to eat cheaply there. Not us. The owners have changed more than 3 times in the 10 years since we moved to Oranienburg. The food is cheap. Little seasoned and served in large quantities, it feels like every guest takes a bag of leftovers with them. The atmosphere is very loud and you can hardly hear people sitting next to you, probably because the cheap ouzo is flowing freely. The staff is already clearing up although some at the table are still eating. If you want to eat cheaply and fill your stomach, this is the right place for you, but if you like quality/taste and a nice ambience, you have to look further. Decide for yourself.

Were very disappointed! New line-up of the entire staff! We were there with seven people on the occasion of a birthday. Although it was emphasized when making the reservation that it was a birthday, nothing was set and we were supposed to sit at the cat table right next to the drafty entrance. Because of my protest, we were then assigned another table. The waiters only spoke German very poorly - fluent communication was not possible. They were grumpy and unmotivated. Nothing was understood when ordering and the wrong thing was served. With every dish a salad was passed across the table because it was too easy to walk around the table. Even before we had eaten the salad, the partly wrong main course arrived, which my guests had to pass through again out of necessity. I've never experienced anything like that. No manners - you wait to serve the main course until the starter has been eaten. When we had the food, no one bothered to ask if we wanted drinks or anything else. The birthday sundae was slammed onto the table without a frown or a congratulation. I had to ask for the bill several times. With a bill of just under 300 euros, I would have at least expected a friendly farewell. But nothing there! Not even a goodbye. So what am I saying- never again. I can also spend my money somewhere else and nicer.

Four of us had dinner there last night and have to honestly say that the service from at least one employee completely ruined our evening! Not a friendly word, no eye contact whatsoever and a loud sigh as we wanted to make room for the starter on the already small table. We have never experienced anything like this at any other restaurant visit. But there's something good about that too... we won't be eating there again and we definitely won't give any recommendations to spend a nice evening there. Sorry, but even the food, which was okay, was forgotten by this waiter. Unfortunately, one star for the service is already too much. Oh and if you expect to be asked if you would like to drink something else, you are unfortunately wrong there.

We hadn't been here for a while and had the impression that the quality had deteriorated. The starters were delicious... garlic bread and grilled pepperoni with tzatziki... the main courses... Thessaloniki plate, Mykonos plate, gyros and chicken breast fillet... the meat was quite dry, the garlic potatoes unfortunately weren't as crispy as they used to be, the fries were limp and overall there was very little tzatziki... It's a shame, it's just too expensive for that.

We have often been guests in the restaurant, even when it was completely overcrowded, but we have never experienced anything like what happened on March 8th. The reserved table was still full of dishes. The waiters were completely overloaded and they couldn't do anything about it. The starters were served stacked on top of each other. We only got drinks once when we ordered. We had to wait forever for our bill. If two waiters are absent, you have to find a replacement or close parts of the restaurant. Our men apologized to us for the unsuccessful evening. Nothing like this evening is possible. We were very disappointed.

Because of the hustle and bustle, the welcome schnapps was placed on my son's hand. This caused him to fall over and all the blue paint was spread on the table and child. No apology or help. The children received 1/2 liter of drinks without asking. Way too much! The food was better before. The carrot salad in the salad was fermented. No understanding of gluten intolerance. It is still delivered in puff pastry, even though it was expressly omitted. All in all, many different waiters, some of whom don't speak German or English, expensive and poor quality. Unfortunately, the Greeks here in Oberhavel are all bad and do not reflect real Greek cuisine. You have better luck in Berlin.

Der Willkommensschnaps wurde vor lauter Hektik auf der Hand meines Sohnes gestellt. Dadurch fiel er um und die ganze blaue Farbe verteilte sich auf Tisch und Kind. Keine Entschuldigung oder Hilfe. Die Kinder haben ungefragt 1/2 Liter Getränke bekommen. Viel zu viel! Das Essen war schon einmal besser. Der Möhrensalat im Salat war gegoren. Kein Verständnis für Glutenunverträglichkeit. Es wird trotzdem im Blätterteig...geliefert, obwohl ausdrücklich darauf verzichtet wurde. Alles in allem viele verschiedene Kellner, zum Teil nicht der deutschen oder englischen Sprache mächtig, teuer und schlechte Qualität. Leider sind die Griechen hier in Oberhavel allesamt schlecht und spiegeln nicht die wirkliche griechische Küche wider. Da hat man in Berlin mehr Glück.

We were there on a Saturday evening and it was incredibly crowded. The waiters seemed overwhelmed. The food was okay, but Ouzo was only available upon request and ordering drinks was difficult. Too bad!

We waited 1 hour to order the drinks. The salad came without cutlery. We had to ask about that too. Ouzo was served sparingly and we were only able to pay after several attempts after other guests complained for the same reason.

We had takeaway food. My moussaka for €19.40!!! was probably more of a children's portion. Very unfortunate!!! I paid with vouchers. We had a value of €120, the meal cost €113.25 and the rest was simply kept. It's a shame how it's handled.

The restaurant is highly praised in our neighborhood, so we wanted to try it out. I didn't think it was that great there myself. It was very, very crowded and therefore very, very loud. Comfort is different. I also didn't find the food that tasty. The tzatziki was very creamy, which I didn't like, and the gyros were too mixed. The service was good, but we had to wait a good 20 minutes for our bill. Next time we'll go to our favorite Greek restaurant again.

In principle not bad, quite a large Greek restaurant, but without any special flair. The food is good average for a Greek restaurant in this country: lots of meat, large portions, lots of garlic. Even if the dishes don't offer any particular surprises, one has to admit that everything was well prepared, nothing burnt, oversalted or dripping with fat. Prices aren't necessarily cheap, but they're okay for the size of the portions. TL, DR: large Greek restaurant with average food in the best sense of the word, nothing outstanding, but no failures either.

My wife and I are guests almost every month. We are completely satisfied with the food, and the price is reasonable for the size of the portions. Personally, I just don't like the garlic potatoes, which I actually always swap for something else and pay the extra price accordingly. But my wife likes these. The service is usually good. The restaurant can definitely be recommended. We come from Velten because our local restaurants don't suit our personal taste. There is a parking lot on site.

Wir hatten einen Tisch für 4 Personen bestellt. Als wir ankamen war keine Reservierung vermerkt..bekamen dennoch einen Tisch, allerdings unter einer Regenrinne wo es tropfte. Wir baten um einen anderen Platz. Nach langer Diskussion bekamen wir einen nahe der küche und dem Tresen. Sehr laut und hektisch. Nach ca 45 Minuten kam jemand und nahm die Getränkebestellung auf,die dann nach 20 Minuten auch kam. Weitere 60 Minuten bis zur Speisenbestellung vergingen . Meine Bekannten waren mit ihrem Essen einigermaßen zufrieden. Ich leider nicht. Ich wollte Schweinefilet mit Metaxasosse. Leider war es kein Filets sondern zähes Schweinestaek. Ich reklamierte .Immerhin kostete das Essen 24 Euro. Mit mir wurde dann diskutiert. Kein schöner Abend

Eine Frechheit! Tisch bestellt, keiner da .Voll wie verrückt. Valentinstag Von 19.30- 22 Uhr gewartet, dann gab's endlich Essen, wäre es kein Geburtstag gewesen, wären wir gegangenen. Personal völlig überfordert! Alle die nach uns kamen, hatten eher Essen und waren quasi schon zu Hause als wir dran waren. Keine Karten, keine Getränke von allein. Ne Stunde aufs Getränk warten.abartig! Kein System! Dies war übrigens auch die Meinung der umliegenden Tische! Unfassbar!=nie wieder und keine Empfehlung!

On the whole you can go out to eat here. Be careful for anyone who likes to eat garlic but doesn't want to taste it for hours.

Greek food is always a good choice, but Delphi takes the taste to a new level. The food is fantastic, especially the bifteki. The restaurant offers indoor seating in the winter and outdoor seating in the summer and is also dog-friendly. The atmosphere is always great and there is plenty of parking. The staff is very helpful and yes, cards are accepted too.

Unfortunately a feeling of eating in a train station. We had a table in the "awning" against the wall. My chair slipped behind a stone edge several times, 3 or 4 different waiters tried very hard but every time we ordered drinks or food the other 3 came a few minutes apart and asked for the same order again. The food was harmless but not very tasty.

Update December 2024: Still highly recommended. Update February 2018: After a change in ownership, the following applies again: friendly and quick service, large portions at fair prices, and above-average taste. Plus a stylish, rustic, modernized interior. A beautiful winter garden and a large terrace invite you to sit outside in summer. Just the right place to get your fill of food with friends. By the way, it makes sense to make a reservation as it is almost always very busy.

It was horrible, we actually wanted to have a cozy St. Nicholas dinner with the family, but unfortunately it was a disaster. Despite a table reservation, no table was prepared for us. We then got one in the annex, it was so loud that you couldn't understand your own words. We were insulted by drunk guests who used their Christmas party as a cheap get-out and the waiter didn't do anything. The food was just mass production, the meat was stringy and way too expensive for the cheap products. Never again
