Das Ambiente war okay . Der Service ging auch. Aber das es passt überhaupt nicht zu den aufgerufenen Preisen. Geschmacklos und nicht das auf dem Teller was auf der Karte stand und sehr fettig. Nie wieder in diesem Restaurant.

Der Service hier ist so unangenehm, dass man sich schon beim ersten Kontakt angewidert fühlt. Ein traditionelles Lokal, in dem man eine Flasche Bier für 6 Euro kaufen kann. Ich rate Ihnen als Tourist, diesen Ort zu meiden.

Das Restaurant ist ein integraler Bestandteil des Palastes. Dank des schönen Wetters nutzten wir die Außenterrasse. Wir mussten nicht lange auf unser Essen warten. Ich bestellte Leber mit Zwiebeln und gebackenem Apfel – eine wahre Geschmacksexplosion! Meine Begleitung bestellte Tagliatelle mit Spargel … und war etwas enttäuscht, denn der „Spargel“ entpuppte sich als halber, in Streifen geschnittener Spargel, und das Gericht war schlecht gewürzt. Die Einrichtung des Restaurants (und das ist meine subjektive Meinung) ist etwas kitschig. Aber das Essen ist der Star des Restaurants, und alles daran ist einfach perfekt. :) Ich kann es nur empfehlen!

Wir haben sehr lange auf das Essen gewartet und der Spargel war wässrig. Schade, wir hatten uns sehr auf den Restaurantbesuch gefreut.

Das Essen war Traumhaft, perfekte Portion und der Preis ist gerechtfertigt. Die Bedienung war sehr herzlich und die wartezeit war sehr gut. Gerne kommen wir wieder! Es ist sehr zu empfehlen!

Authentische italienische Küche, wie man sie aus der Heimat kennt.

Sehr leckeres Essen, bei extrem gemütlichem Ambiente - wir kommen sicher wieder! Das Essen schmeckt nicht nur ausgezeichnet, sondern ist immer auch noch sehenswert angerichtet. Hier isst das Auge wirklich mit und die Kellner sind nicht aufdringlich sondern angenehm aufmerksam Die Einrichtung gefällt uns sehr gut, es wirkt auf uns sehr herrschaftlich

Wir waren eingeladen und können deshalb nichts über die Preise sagen. Aber das Menü war vorzüglich, raffiniert und auch anders als in anderen Spitzenrestaurants keine kleinen Portionen. Wer Spitzengastronomie erleben möchte, ist hier richtig.

Essen war super, sehr schön angerichtet & schmackhaft und mal komplett anders als man es so oft sieht. Schöne leckere Salate, zarte Rinderfiletspitzen… alles wirklich sehr lecker. Getränkeauswahl ist nicht der Hit. Ambiente ist mal was anderes aber man sieht hier & da schon die öftere Nutzung, die Spuren hinterlassen hat. Kellner waren freundlich.

Preis Leistung passt gar nicht. Ich habe Entrecote medium vom Grill für 36 Euro laut Karte bestellt und das argentinische Rinderfilet medium für 39 Euro bestellt und extra den Kellner vorab gefragt ob das Rinderfilet auch vom Grill zubereitet ist er sagte ja . Das Essen kam und beide Stücken Fleisch waren in der Pfanne gebraten und der Geschmack war wässrig und die Konsistenz vom Entrecote war Gummi leider kein Fleisch Geschmack. Auf Nachfrage beim Kellner das kein Grill Geschmack da sei sagte er in einer Grillpfanne gebraten also Betrug . Einmal und nie wieder. Preise wie im Steakhaus aber nicht annähernd die Qualität. Beschwerden interessieren den Chef leider gar nicht beim Verlassen des Restaurants arrogant mit den Rücken zu uns gewendet und verabschiedet.

The location partly explains the prices, but otherwise, I found one or two things that were obviously intentionally neglected: The bread that was served as a welcome gift from the kitchen was stale and could have come from Rewe. The water was unsealed (just with a stopper) and was still billed as "brand water"—even though I'm fairly certain I tasted "Tapquelle." The side salads were more cafeteria-standard—better to skip them altogether. The portions were filling and flavorful, but for the price, I expect consistently high quality.

Very friendly staff, the food is well presented. But, dear chefs, you can also season food! My boiled beef with horseradish sauce didn't taste of horseradish at all! My companion also said the food wasn't seasoned.

The food doesn't match the price. The food is average.

Nicely located by the water. Plenty of seating. (Cushions would have been nice.) Excellent service. Reasonable prices for the location. Good opening hours; other restaurants in the area closed at 8 or 9 p.m. today. Criticism about the food was accepted. Good interior design and plenty of space. Unfortunately, another restaurant where they didn't offer the sentence at the end...grappa, espresso...??? A shame. All in all, though, I'd gladly go back. Perhaps the suggestions will even be implemented.

We were regular customers for many years before the change of operator. Given the current prices and significantly smaller portion sizes, we can no longer recommend it. The quality has also declined. In my opinion, they use frozen products. It's a shame; we'll look for something new.

Unfortunately, the prices have only arrived in the 21st century. A coffee without lactose-free milk or oat milk is out.

Everything used to be perfect there. Today the cream on our ice cream was crumbly, but not bad.

This restaurant is really something special, very nice service and a great ambience. We ate very well. Beforehand there is a greeting from the kitchen in the form of bread and herb quark with fresh dill. All the dishes were on point. The schnitzels were tender, the pike perch was simply tasty. In addition to the regular ticket, there is also a season ticket. The dessert menu is also extensive. The Schloss Restaurant is definitely worth a visit and we will definitely come back.

After our wedding we had dinner there with our guests. At short notice we had made reservations a week in advance for 15 people a la carte. There were no problems and it was nicely looked after. The staff was very friendly, fulfilled every wish and always had a joke on their lips. The food was very tasty across the board. From the starter to the dessert. The prices are a bit higher, but this is justified by the quality of the food.

Great service, very friendly and helpful personnel. Food very good, all plates and deserts and good wine and beer selection. This place is slightly hidden or far from the route from the train station to the camp which is the standard visit but I wanted to try local food rather than the many international options, and it’s worth the visit. Around 20 minutes walking from the train station. Not only the food but the place is very quiet and you can sit by the river very pleasant and quiet. Give it a try and you won’t regret. I tried the dishes with spargel… pasta fish and meat all delicious

We had a drink there and really only ate a little something. Very friendly service and what I ate was extremely tasty and presented well to the eye. However, the prices here are extremely competitive. If there is a really special occasion, we will definitely come here again. But the restaurant is a bit too expensive for us to just have a quick dinner with friends or a well-known nightcap. So for your 70th birthday in a small group, we'd be happy to do it again.

I expected higher quality for the price range. The steak was good, the rosemary potatoes and the beans were a bit old...

I can highly recommend this restaurant. The food is freshly prepared, and the prices range from €7 to €40, which is perfectly reasonable considering the ingredients the frogs use. The food also tastes great.

Unfortunately after the change of operator it is no longer as good as before. The menu has hardly changed, but what you get is at most half as good. Also quite expensive. Despite it being a Saturday evening, there were only 3 tables occupied, so it didn't really seem cozy. But the staff was very friendly and attentive.

We were there during the week and it was relatively uncrowded. The service was very good. The waiter was friendly and polite and the ambience is exceptional. Historical images everywhere and classical music in the background. Food and drinks were great, a really great address if you are in Oranienburg. Keep it up!

A change of management—that was probably nothing. We were regulars… after the change of management, the place is simply not even close to what it used to be. The quality of the food has declined so much that the prices are no longer justified. The old staff is missing… no charm, no friendliness, and no outstanding service anymore. The best restaurant in Oranienburg has completely lost its charm… even the great location doesn't help. What a shame.

This is a must-go place if you want a cozy atmosphere with coffee and delicious cake. Top service. I highly recommend the marzipan cake: it's a dream.

Six of us were there today. Everyone had a different dish, and everyone loved it. Whether it was vegetarian or an entrecôte. The service was very friendly and prompt. The chef even stopped by to wish us a pleasant stay. The ambiance is worthy of a castle. The price is high, but in my opinion, it's worth every cent. We'd be happy to come back.

We held our Christmas party at the castle restaurant. Everything was prepared and beautifully set. All arrangements were kept. The food was excellent and the service super friendly. Thank you all for the wonderful evening.

Staff and boss unfortunately incompetent! We arranged a prosecco reception for our guests on our wedding day 2 weeks before our wedding in September 2024! What and when should we please be prepared so that we have a smooth transition after the marriage. Had the appointment with the boss personally and discussed everything. Arrived after the marriage and nothing was prepared. We stood there and had to wait 15 minutes with our guests until something was finally ready. We felt so stupid! The staff knew nothing about anything and was also rude and stressed! We had also agreed that small orders such as water could be added, but no more. But that was completely ignored. To abandon a newlywed couple like that and show no insight at all was really very disappointing and unsatisfactory. The bill simply turned out to be twice as high because agreements were not kept! It seemed like the only important thing was to pay and that wasn't a small amount! I will not recommend this store to anyone. Due to poor service. I would also like to warn you about the Italians right in front of the castle, this restaurant also belongs to the same owner. Without love, without heart, without passion and without insight let alone apology! I'm still so disappointed and shocked. Incredible !

Food is slowly getting better again, but the new tenant can't match the quality from before.

Everything cold. We ordered zander and wild hare. The side dishes for both dishes were cold and that at prices of almost €40 per dish! I let the rabbit go back and we kept the other food because my wife and our little son were really hungry. When I asked for the bill, I was patronizingly told that the wild hare had been taken off the bill. Yes, of course! And just as naturally, I expected an apology or a gesture, for example a drink or giving up all drinks in the event of a disaster. Not so here, here people wanted to have paid for the drinks. So 50€ for a moderate zander on limp skin and cold side dishes, cola and 2 water. What a disgrace!

We were there just to have a drink. The Aperol Spritz and the Hugo consisted mostly of ice and the price of €8.90 is rather unjustified. The biggest cheek, however, was Kiba for the child. 0.4 for 7 euros! Honestly, that doesn't work at all. The piece of frozen cake for €4.70 is rather average, nothing more. We actually wanted to go out for dinner again, but we decided not to.

We were there for lunch on a Sunday and wanted to try out the restaurant after the change of ownership. Food very delicious, but too expensive for the portion! If you don't see any pasta on your plate, that's because there's far too little of the vegetables. (Vegetarian pasta with vegetables) And what was absolutely not possible was a wait of over 50 minutes for our food! When asked by the waiter, arms raised and “same, same”. The "nice, courteous" waiters were probably free...

Cake rather mediocre, service underground.

This location makes you want a delicious coffee and an ice cream sundae. The ice cream menu also promises a wonderful selection with corresponding photos. Unfortunately, the photo and reality differ widely. Fruit; None! And then the cream was bad... At least we had no problem complaining and then switched to cake. Given the high prices, we clearly expected more.

The best house on the site only accepts card payments from EUR 10! But you poor people too You can't afford the fees on your income. Now I will buy my wheat in a bottle from the supermarket and cool it in the fridge and of course drink this from a wheat glass on the opposite bank

My goodness: the chicken breast fillet in the children's meal (well, what was left of it ;) was about the most tender meat ever. Really very good. However, the drink prices are beyond good and bad: €7 for 0.4l KiBa is just crazy, castle restaurant or not.

Change of operator. Now belongs to the Italian restaurant on Schlossplatz. Service from the new staff is very good, the ambience remains the same as before. Food is no longer comparable to before with the same menu. Prices have been adopted, but no longer correspond to the quality. It's a shame: we've always been here a few times a year, now we're looking for something new with a similar menu.

We ate in the restaurant twice. Wednesday and then again Saturday. The service staff is very accommodating and extremely friendly. We felt very valued. The dishes - whether starter, main course or dessert - are perfectly balanced and it is a pleasure to enjoy them. The suggested wine or espresso at the end also make the visit a complete experience. We will definitely eat here again on our next visit to Oranienburg. I only gave it four stars for the ambience because we sat on the promenade and I can't judge the decor. But one more thing about the terrace/promenade: you can sit here very exclusively with a beautiful view of the Oranienburger Havelar arm. Thank you for these two beautiful experiences.

Very tasty, maybe a bit expensive for an average meal at 30 euros.

Three of us went out to eat today because we heard that the restaurant was closing soon. I had ordered the wild hare fillet, but it started with the fact that I didn't get a meat knife but rather a blunt knife, which made it more of a torture to cut the game. The reason I'm actually writing this is because there was a piece of lead in a piece of meat, probably from shooting the animal with shotgun shells. I don't think that's possible for such a "high-end restaurant" and for a price of €35. After I asked the waiter about it, he said, "I can choose one scoop or two of ice cream." Since I didn't want one anymore, there was no other compensation like a discount or something similar. I'm very disappointed. Have a nice Sunday.

I have to say the food was really great and everything, but to calculate 3 times cherry juice and 3 times banana juice individually for 3 Kibas is ridiculous. Have now paid double for 3 drinks and were therefore deducted. Great 👍

First of all, I haven't eaten such a good bunny yet, so the price is good, the portions are pleasant and fill you up, in terms of price, you should bring some money with you, the staff is pleasantly friendly, the environment is something for people with a touch of history, but on the whole I recommend it.

They were here for coffee. We had a very nice and comfortable place by the water and felt very comfortable. Coffee and cake were great, the service was very friendly and accommodating. All in all, a clear recommendation for this restaurant, definitely visit.

The boiled beef is simply delicious and so is the salad.

We had business lunch here and it was too good. The German cuisine range available is impressive and we loved their service.

We were in the castle restaurant for the first time (group of 12 with reservation). In summary you can say: good and tasty food, price/performance ratio for the location, I think it's okay, very good service (friendly, flexible, the food was at the table quickly after ordering), clear menu and depending on the season, additional ones are added Menus offered. We felt very comfortable, thank you very much. We'd love to come back.

Excellent food, mediocre service, that's how you can sum up our experience. The food was very tasty, decent portions and nicely put together. The rooms are very nice and have a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service couldn't quite keep up with the food. The food was just served without any recommendations. After eating we were left alone without being asked for any further drinks or requests. We then went to the front of the counter to pay, as signals to the staff were deliberately ignored. It's a real shame because everything was fine with the exception of the service. Therefore only a conditional recommendation.

Hochwertiges Restaurant mit sehr freundlicher und zum Teil auch witziger Bedienung. Das Essen wird aus frischen Zutaten gekocht, das sieht und schmeckt man auch. Allerdings sollte man ein "dickes Portemonnaie" mitnehmen, trotzdem gehen wir zu bestimmten Anlässen immer wieder sehr gerne dort essen!

Unfortunately it was very disappointing in the castle restaurant. Very long waiting times for drinks and food. It's a public holiday, but waiting more than 45 minutes is extremely extreme. Unfortunately, the food wasn't too good either and unnecessary decoration on the food doesn't help (half a herb garden on the plate). Unfortunately not recommended.

Despite reserving a wedding party for 12 people and being on site on time, the table was simply given away, so we had to wait outside for over 30 minutes with 3 small children at 5°. I can therefore by no means recommend this restaurant.

We haven't been to this restaurant for a long time, but today and without a reservation on Valentine's Day afternoon...we were lucky. But from 5 p.m. everything is reserved...so make sure to reserve next time. The ambience is absolutely great, the service is excellent...and the kitchen is magical. From the main course to the dessert, everything was very tasty...whether veal liver or corn-fed chicken breast...very tasty, beautifully prepared, for example with mashed sweet potatoes and always a small salad...It was not only delicious, but also cozy and we felt comfortable , you can also add wine or ice cream... we'll be back and can only recommend the restaurant. Oh, and at lunchtime there is business brunch until 2:30 p.m.... you should definitely try it.

Das in das Oranienburger Schloss integrierte (von außen zugängliche) Restaurant ist hochwertig, stilvoll und einladend gestaltet. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir waren nur am Nachmittag dort, könnten dabei schon erleben, dass allein schon die Heißgetränke - allen voran die Schokolade - sehr hochwertig, ansprechend und wohlschmeckend zubereitet werden.

Lugar súper acogedor, con fenomenal atención y exquisita comida. De los pocos sitios que encontramos con verdadera comida alemana. Algo caro, pero, sin duda, merece la pena. Muy muy recomendable!

Ein schönes Restaurant. Wir waren bei sehr schönen Wetter dort und haben auf der " Terasse" gesessen. Es könnte angenehmer sein, wenn nicht die Fahrradfahrer zwischen den Tischereihen ( manche mit einen hohen Tempo) durchfahren würden !!! Auch für das Personal riskant.... wenn plötzlich ein Fahradfahrer beim servieren auftaucht! Ich denke das ein Hinweis zum Absteigen der Fahrradfahrer eine große Entlastung geben würde.

Wir waren on der Mittagspause dort. Es hat viel zu lange gedauert bis das Essen kam. Wir haben dort zwei Stunden verbracht. In der Vergangenheit ging dies zügiger.
