Super friendly staff, very attentive and competent – ​​especially regarding the various dishes. There were four of us – we all had pizza and were thrilled. Simply delicious – 72-hour proofed dough, thin and fluffy at the same time, with tasty fresh ingredients. Highly recommended!

Despite not having a reservation at a very busy restaurant, I was warmly welcomed. Food and service deserve a full 5 stars. I'd gladly come again.

So… this guy at the pizza oven really knows his stuff. As a customer, you obviously have to like a thin, crispy pizza that isn't overloaded with toppings. These pictures were taken during several visits. There's a new owner now, but the man in the kitchen is the son of a Sardinian who conjures up an absolutely delicious pizza. Add to that good service and tasty drinks. The new owners are very nice and friendly, and the old owner still drops by… his son is still in the kitchen. For me, the best pizza in Bad Oeynhausen. Try it yourself. Taste is subjective! But give it a try! Last visited on June 5, 2025. Try the Mirto!

A very pleasant atmosphere, decorated thematically and seasonally, very friendly staff, and truly delicious food! I ate there three times during my rehabilitation stay, and the quality was consistently excellent each time. If you're looking for a good meal and like garlic, I highly recommend the bruschetta and garlic oil! Especially on weekends, be sure to reserve at least one, preferably two days in advance – otherwise, you won't stand a chance if you're dining with more than two people, and even for a single person, getting a table without a reservation is a matter of luck. An absolute must-visit in Bad Oeynhausen!

Tonight, on a Wednesday, I had a quick trip to Italy... the best bruschetta, incredibly delicious pizza (just like in Italy!), a fantastic Sardinian red wine, and Adriano Celentano playing in the background. A real treat for Bad Oeynhausen!

We went to the Pizza Giro (all-you-can-eat) with eight adults and one child. It was simply perfect. The concept is great because you don't choose the pizzas yourself, but rather the kitchen selects them (of course, they asked about any intolerances and dietary requirements beforehand). This way, you don't spend the evening deciding which pizzas to order next. Every pizza we were served was simply delicious. The service was very attentive and friendly.

It was supposed to be just a quick stop, as we had an appointment, but we ended up having to wait 1.5 hours for two pizzas, which we find a bit incomprehensible for a pizzeria (lack of kitchen staff?). The explanation was given due to an unusually high volume of customers. However, we would have expected a warning when ordering, as 90 minutes is really limiting. Drinks were only asked for once when ordering food, which could also be improved or addressed with more service staff. The pizza was above average (7/10), but unfortunately, nothing more. The supposed boss asked for compensation in the form of dessert, which we declined due to time constraints while eating the pizzas. He replied that he'd see what he could do. After that, he didn't come back. It's better not to say anything at all, otherwise the impression will only get worse. Unfortunately, everything could be better.

That alone is enough to make me want to come back soon. But the pizza even tops the experience. You can taste the quality and the regional ingredients. That was a whole different level! And for anyone lucky enough to meet Jens in person: take the opportunity for a wonderful, inspiring conversation. Thank you for an unexpectedly wonderful evening.

Such great service and authentic Italian food! A fantastic selection of dishes; we especially liked the monthly pizza selection. Homemade oil (garlic, chili), delicious pizza (thin crust, crispy crust) & pasta. Vegetarian options are also available, though the vegan selection is rather limited. But all in all, it's super cozy; we felt very comfortable, and the service was 10/10.

My pizza tasted delicious. We were told the dough had been resting for 48 hours. The ambiance is lovely; it's a cute little restaurant, and the staff seem very attentive. There were seven of us there. My seat was at the front, where I was in the way and had no legroom. Therefore, I would recommend eating there with a maximum of six people, so everyone has a good spot. There's also outdoor seating.

We came here spontaneously today because the ambiance with candlelight and music was inviting. We received a very friendly welcome and were immediately introduced to the current special pizzas. There were three of us and we had two of the special pizzas and one tagliatelle with beef ragù. The food was incredibly good. Every dish was special and the price was perfectly reasonable for what was offered. We'd love to come back for more of this delicious holiday feeling.

Del Rio is simply amazing. I went there three times during my rehab stay and I was impressed every time. The pizza-giro offer is recommended for groups of 6 or more and is simply fantastic. Pay €15 and they'll keep serving fresh pizzas until you say STOP. Truly pizza until you drop. Simply fantastic. The Sardinian wines and beers are also highly recommended. Service is very friendly and prompt. So, Del Rio is unconditionally recommended; you have to experience it. One more little tip: It's definitely worth making a reservation in advance. 😉
