Ich wohne mit meinem Mann in Aachen und wir hatten Besuch aus Düsseldorf und sind mit dem befreundeten Paar dort essen gegangen. Es war sehr 😋 Lecker dort und auch gemütlich!

2 stars is almost too much, the place is empty and you will be sent away because "only with food" is a ripoff for tourists...no go

Unfortunately there was no table for 4 people, with the statement that we wouldn't eat anything. Yes, not that day and BUT not again in the future. During Corona you cry about losing customers and then you scare away your guests out of pure greed. Nobody needs you!

À première vue, resto sympa et qui a du cachet. MAIS... Nous entrons, un couple attend devant nous. On attend plusieurs minutes sans savoir ce qu'il en est. On comprend alors que l'étage n'est pas ouvert et qu'il faut attendre qu'une place se libère. Personne pour nous le dire, il y a une file derrière nous. Notre enfant de deux ans ne va pas bien, je prends sa température, 39°. La serveuse nous accueille, on essaie difficilement de parler Allemand et demandons pour parler français. Oubliez le français, ce sera en anglais. Elle nous explique qu'elle peut nous mettre à cette table mais dans 1h on doit être parti car ils ont une reservation. Ok... on s'assied. Mon mari tente de mettre un suppositoire à notre enfant de suite pour faire baisser sa fièvre. Pas moyen, je lui enlève vite et discretement son pantalon , en moins d'une minute c'est mis. Et ici, la serveuse revient en nous parlant Allemand... puis anglais pour nous dire qu'on ne le change pas ici, il faut aller en bas! Je peux comprendre, mais le commentaire était condescendant et desobligeant. Nous sommes des clients franchement sympathiques et faciles mais il y a un moment ou on se fiche de nous ! J'ai senti un manque de respect et un certain mépris pour leur pays voisin. Je n'ai pas osé allaiter mon petit à table, nous sommes partis. Il reste 55min pour les clients suivants 😉

Fantastic, great German cuisine, beautiful interior. Note that the portions are very large. One if the most memorable in Aachen, highly recommend if you are visiting the city.

Kein Besuch in Aachen ohne Abendessen im Degraa. Haxen und Schlachtplatten sind besonders beliebt und sehr üppig. Wir haben den rheinischen Sauberbraten in guter Erinnerung, mit Printengewürz nach Aachen Style, leider ohne Beilagensalat, daher nicht immer sättigend. Gibt auch andere regionale Spezialitäten, zB Puttes aus Blutwurst, was nicht jedermanns Sache ist.

War gestern im Degraa Essen und habe lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen.Die Schlachterplatte war der Hit. Alles auf den Punkt gekocht nix zu trocken vom Fleisch, Kartoffelpüree, Sauerkraut sehr gut abgeschmeckt und gut heiß serviert...Das zweite Gericht mit dem Putensteak mit Kroketten und Beilagensalat, ein zartes Putensteak mit leckeren Brataroma gut gewürzt sehr lecker und die Kroketten ein toller Kartoffelgeschmack und der Salat gutes Dressing .....sehr freundliche Bedienung, keine lange Wartezeit ca.25-30 Minuten, wenn man frisch Essen will muss man das in Kauf nehmen...ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder regelmäßig hier hin, es lohnt sich, Preis Leistung ist voll in Ordnung....Ich empfehle so ab 16:30 Uhr Essen zu gehen, ab 17:30 Uhr füllt sich das Restaurant .... Aus Spaß gehen wir immer mal wieder Mittags auf eine Bockwurst mit Kartoffelsalat ins Degraa. Dazu ein sehr gutes „Öcher Lager“ . Genau genommen ist das kein kulinarisches Highlight, aber das Gesamtpaket macht es aus. Ich mag das so, mal hier und da👍

4 Canadian guys (Business trip) that wanted a typical German restaurant, serving traditional German food. The menu has English translations and we had pork knuckle, grilled surprise plate , a mixture of non fat pork belly, sausage and chicken, , rump steaks the following. We went in with reservations and were glad we did. Restaurant was almost full. We had a waiters ,helpful but not too friendly. Beer was good from a local brewery,Service was prompt and the prices reasonable. If you enjoy good German fare, pay a visit. If you like icecream , the next door shop serves very good icecream.

Lekker op zijn duits Patat met worst gegeten. Prima hap met een lekker bier erbij. Betaalbaar en typisch duits.

Vast adres tegenover het Theater. Voor een snelle hap. Eten is eerlijke Hausmannskost met redelijke porties. Genoeg keuze ook lekker bier. We komen hier al jaren en zijn altijd tevreden. Op sommige dagen/tijdstippen is het erg druk. Advies: vooraf reserveren. Ps mooi sanitair (ook belangrijk)

Une nourriture traditionnelle qui ne nous a pas charmé (mais la qualité semblait au rdv, je pense plus que c'était une affaire de goûts) mais l'endroit était particulièrement joli, et le service soigné et polyglotte. Comme c'est une grande salle qui peut accueillir de gros groupe, ça peut vite devenir bruyant.

Nach langer Zeit waren wir nochmal im Degraa, da wir das Essen in guter Erinnerung hatten. Leider wurden wir diesmal enttäuscht. Der Sauerbraten war leider zu trocken und geschmacklich eher schwach. Die Haxe war geschmacklich gut aber leider sehr klein. Nachdem Essen durften wir unser Kartenspiel nicht fortführen, da der Chef dies nicht möchte. Nach dieser Erfahrung werden wir wohl erstmal nicht mehr dorthin gehen.

Für Liebhaber einer einfach eingerichteten düsteren Kneipe wohl zu empfehlen. Touristen aus aller Welt schlürfen hier ein mehr schlecht als Recht gezapftes Bier

All the foods are really german traditional, gulash is the perfect combination in this place with the magnificient beer served and the best of all is not vre expensive.

The service and atmosphere were good and there was a nice range of beers and the food was just what the doctor ordered after walking all day ... good portion size if you want to eat :) and the quality matched it too!!
