Die Zutaten waren frisch, der Kräuterlikör hervorragend, kompetenter Gastfeber, das junge Mädchen, das uns bedient hat, war sehr freundlich, leider konnte man das nicht vom gesamten Personal sagen. Mir war der Pizzateig zu lasch. Aber das ist ja Geschmackssache.

Es war früher eine kleine gemütliche Pizzeria, eher ein Geheimtipp... War früher schon einzigartig gut und sehr persönlich ... Jetzt nach dem Umbau und der Erweiterung des Lokals ist es noch schöner geworden. Immer noch sehr gutes italienisches Essen und hervorragende Weine (eigener Weinkeller). Die Stimmung im Lokal ist schön typisch italienisch-familiär. Dazu gekommen sind nicht nur mehr Platz für das Lokal sondern auch noch 4 ganz liebevoll und perfekte Gästezimmer die ich sehr gut empfehlen kann. Gerade wenn man (wie wir) einen weiteren Weg hat, ist es einfach eine gute Gelegenheit nicht wieder Abends nach Hause fahren zu müssen. Ein Geheimtipp ist es schon lange nicht mehr, so das man schon vorbestellen sollte! Der Koch interpretiert immer wieder auch lokale, saisonale, deutsche Zutaten zu leckeren Gerichten die man garantiert nicht wo anders bekommt. Von daher immer auch auf die Tageskarte schauen und sich vom Koch inspirieren lassen ;) Ein Lokal das man einfach nur empfehlen kann wenn man italienisches Flair und Lebensfreude sowie die italienische Küche mag. Die Bilder stammen von einem "Spezialmenü" und diese Gerichte findet man nicht nicht auf der Karte aber zeigen perfekt die Kreativität des Kochs. Nachtrag 2024 immernoch der beste Italiener weit und breit. Auch den Mittagstisch deine Mann bin mal ausprobieren.

Ich würde auch mehr Sterne geben, aber es gehen nur 5. Hervorragende Pizza zu sehr fairen Preisen und einen super netten Service!

Das war erste und letzt mal , Service 0 sehr schlimm ,muss warten 1 Stunde und dann noch 1 Stunde für Rechnung !! Das Bier von Fass war alt und sauer . Die Paste war verdaut …..

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Ein Stück Italien in Verden Es gibt Orte, die sind mehr als Restaurants. Sie sind ein Gefühl. Dieser Italiener in Verden (Aller) ist genau so ein Ort. Man tritt ein und ist sofort willkommen. Herzlich, lebendig, ein bisschen frech, genau richtig. Der Inhaber lebt, was er tut. Und das spürt man. Die Pizza: knusprig, perfekt, ohne Vergleich in der Region. Die Küche: kreativ, mutig, voller Leidenschaft, besonders dann, wenn man als Gast eigene Wünsche mitbringt. Hier wird nicht einfach gekocht, hier wird begeistert. Und auch beim Wein zeigt sich die Klasse des Hauses: Hier weiß man nicht nur, wo der Wein herkommt, hier kann man ihn genießen. Und ja, so viel Pathos darf sein: Der Papst lebt in Italien, aber wenn er hier wäre, würde er genau hier essen gehen. Ein großes Dankeschön an Davide. Für viele Abende. Und hoffentlich noch viele mehr.

Ich kann Davide wirklich sehr empfehlen! Die Pizza ist super lecker und auch die Nudelgerichte sind richtig gut. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt, der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist jedes Mal sehr angenehm. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Manches Essen hat geschmacklich etwas nachgelassen, Beilage wurde vergessen. Was auf Nachfrage sehr schnell mit bedauern entschuldigt wurde. Preise sind noch okay, es ist alles frisch zubereitet. Es wird ausschließlich Bargeld akzeptiert!

Wir waren hier schon mehrmals essen und es war immer lecker. Ich empfehle auf jeden Fall das Bruschetta und die Pizzen.

Hui, war ich lange nicht mehr hier (20 Jahre?). Meine Meinung hat sich aber nicht verändert: es ist alles gut! Service sogar sehr gut. Für meinen Geschmack zu viel Knoblauch, ob an der "grünen Soße", oder auf einer Pizza, zu der das nicht richtig passen wollte. Humor ist darüber hinaus immer subjektiv, die "lustigen" Sprüche in der Speisekarte und an den Wänden kann man mögen... Muss man aber nicht.

Beste Italiener weit und breit! Hervorragende Küche!

Trotz Lage an der Strasse, war es nachts sehr ruhig im Zimmer. Es war sauber und geräumig. Die Pizza im Restaurant hatte eine hohe Qualität und der Wein ist zu empfehlen.

We ordered three pizzas for three people on a Wednesday evening. But we waited almost an hour, too long I'd say! It wasn't even the weekend. The tablecloth wasn't clean. Cash only. How clever is that?

If you ever feel like going south, you don't have to jet off to Italy. In Verden – without any fuss – there's a place that can truly relax you in every way. IL POMODARIO is the name of the man in the kitchen, who even lasagna almost prays to, worships. His smile is charming, his cooking is magical – with every dish you think: Mamma mia, how?! In the garden like on an Italian piazza, with a glass of white wine – perfetta die Strazza! And when you think you can't get any more vino, the wine shop comes along – and you just say: "Si, noch uno!" So, as a regular, I say clearly and happily: To DARIO and his DAVIDE, I will never say no! Ciao, ci vediamo da DARIO 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹

The service was fast and the pizza tasted acceptable. However, I was disappointed with the value for money. €14.60 for a small pizza and a small Coke seemed significantly overpriced compared to what was offered.

We only slept there. Everything looked delicious, and the prices were reasonable, but we had to go to a Greek restaurant that evening. 😉

Super pleasant, respectful service – and for all those who like mussels: there are Corsican-style mussels and a very good wine selection.

We stayed overnight and had breakfast at the "Davide" guesthouse. Our room was very spacious and everything was top-notch. The breakfast is exquisite; highly recommended, and the price is unbeatable. If we ever need to stay in the area again, we will choose the "Davide" guesthouse again.

One of the best pizzerias I've known since I was a child. Finally been there again for 20 years and still the same high quality. Staff is very friendly.

Yesterday we were in the restaurant with 8 people. We were shown a table in the back area, it was very tight. The service was nice but not friendly. The drinks came quite quickly. The food came in dribs and drabs, the last dish only came after everyone else had already finished, that's not possible! The food itself was very good, the prawns were extremely tasty. After that, no one came to our table to ask for any further requests. The payment process took place at the counter because no one came even after I asked for payment. There was also no receipt. In other words, not again.

It was a nice evening with solid food in a nice atmosphere. High price level.

Unfortunately, we - and many other guests around us - did not experience a customer-oriented evening. Long waiting times, food served at the table before drinks, no further requests for further drinks. The food was tasty, but nothing special. For our part, the performance is not in proportion to the price. Quite a few pizzas are extra spicy and veggie dishes are rarely found on the menu.

Simply excellent 🙂 The food is very good, the staff are extremely friendly and the atmosphere is also very nice... although it is actually always full, so a reservation is advantageous.

After hearing several times from friends that this Italian restaurant was great, we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, we were not able to fully meet the high expectations. I ordered the burger that was recommended to me by several sites, but unfortunately I was disappointed. The patty was very hard and the taste left a lot to be desired. The craft beer I enjoyed with it was also slightly sour and didn't go well with what I was expecting. The pasta dishes were at least okay, even if they weren't anything special. It was a challenge to find a vegetarian pasta dish on the menu, but after some searching we finally found a dish that we liked. Overall it was a mixed visit. The restaurant has potential, but there is definitely room for improvement, especially with the burgers and beer. We can imagine coming back in the future, but we will certainly be more careful in our choices.

Food is good, but having to wait over two hours for the food is unbelievable.

Burger ordered well done/still very raw! Couldn't be eaten like that. We weren't asked to order any more drinks… Pizza was still almost raw in the middle… when we asked for bread with the salad they said of course but unfortunately nothing came…. We're definitely not coming back... Prices are quite high... we're happy to pay if everything fits... but definitely not here again... what a shame

Drove by by chance and ate there. Went there shortly before the kitchen closed but were well served and cooked for. I didn't know the Gambas Nudekn that come out of the oven in a kind of bag and they were really great. 'We shared another pizza and it was my best pizza so far in Germany. Really recommended!

Cozy restaurant, with many playful details. Sometimes a little too much. The card is different but fun. Choice is huge. Only the warning "ATTENTION DANGER TO DEATH" in the card is totally exaggerated and feels strange. Prices are decent, higher than elsewhere. But: The pizza is pretty much the most brilliant I've ever eaten, absolutely world class. The wine is also super good. Everyone was very friendly and it was a very pleasant atmosphere... thank you very much. I'll definitely be back

I've never experienced anything like this before... We had a lovely Christmas party at Davide's with 25 people, which ended in bitter disappointment. Our organizers discussed the menu on site and were quoted a fixed price of 40 euros per person by the restaurant, which seemed very high to us. The food was good, but nothing special. The money should be collected from everyone in advance and then paid together in cash on site. When we wanted to pay, the boss apparently didn't know anything about the agreed 40 euros and then wanted 51 euros per person. But hey, at least he said that 50 euros would be ok too. Just unprofessional. In addition, some of the staff were unfriendly and you felt unwelcome. We also had to wait a relatively long time for the drinks. Absolutely no recommendation!

Christmas party with 25 people! A meal was arranged for €40 per person. I thought it was steep but oh well... After a convivial evening, our two organizers went to the boss to process the payment.. suddenly he didn't know anything about the €40 mentioned.. he unprofessionally rummaged through his "documents" and wildly typed numbers into the calculator.. The results were then suddenly 51€ and then he insisted on 50€, which leads me to two assumptions: 1. the whole thing was completely planned that way and the €250 is worth more to him than 25 satisfied guests and good advertising or 2. you really run a business here so haphazardly.

Yesterday evening we celebrated the Christmas party and had a nice evening, the food was good but nothing special, the drinks took a little longer but that was manageable. Unfortunately, around 10 p.m. we felt a bit forced to leave the store as soon as possible, but well, we were informed about the opening times beforehand. But when it came time to pay, we started to get angry. The agreed fixed price of €40 was now suddenly increased to €51 per person. Of course, no one had prepared for this and even if the price was justified for the amount of food, the lack of communication simply doesn't work at all! According to the boss, he never talked about €40, but we two people who had a conversation with him before are quite sure and wrote it down on our own notes of the conversation. Of course, the confusing scribbles on a piece of paper that the boss took as notes did not contain any mention of a price. We really feel ripped off and are sad that an otherwise lovely evening had to end on such a sobering note. Due to impossible behavior, Davide lost 25 customers in one fell swoop who probably wouldn't eat there again.

Not recommended! We celebrated our Christmas party from the bowling club with 24 people at Davide's. We were told verbally in advance that the price was €40 per person, payable exclusively in cash and as a total amount. That seemed a bit unusual to us, but we agreed. The food was OK, but nothing special. However, there were problems when paying: the owner suddenly demanded €51 per person, €11 more than agreed. Suddenly he could no longer remember the aforementioned agreement. The drinks could be paid for individually, but without a receipt or invoice being issued. The behavior was very disappointing for us and leaves an extremely negative impression. For us, another visit here is out of the question.

We actually had a really nice Christmas party with 24 people. A price for the meal of €40 per person was agreed upon in advance, which seemed quite a lot to us but was fine for everyone. The food was really good and we had a nice evening when unfortunately the sobering information came from the owner that everyone should now pay €51 instead of the discussed €40. He couldn't remember any agreement and after a long discussion with the boss, the organizers of our Christmas party had to tell us the unpleasant information, visibly dejected. But hey, at least we were given a waiver of €1 per person from the €51 now required :) Simply impossible behavior, which shows you that you can't rely on this man's word and should instead demand everything in writing. It's a shame that such a lovely evening had to end so badly; it was my last visit to the store.

I've been there with a friend every few months for many years. Everything was perfect for the first few years: great, friendly service and delicious food. Lately, with a variety of excuses, we can no longer get the table we want and are put at a "cat table" for two, the staff and the boss are becoming less friendly and you have the feeling that you are just being a nuisance. Bruschetta is usually over-roasted (black). The menu is manageable and, in my opinion, has too many 'spicy' dishes. The prices have risen enormously. I now prefer to go to the competition.

Full marks for the best Italian restaurant far and wide. A great atmosphere and you feel like you're part of a big family. Very friendly staff, always accommodating. The food......what can you say about that??? I don't know of anything where I like it better. Delicious FRESH cuisine for every taste and special requests are always taken into account. I ordered 1 pizza by phone on Saturday at 7 p.m. and was supposed to pick it up 30 minutes later. I was there on time. 1. Minus point, you wait at the entrance for service and although there were several service employees walking around, it took quite a while before you were served. The restaurant was not extremely busy at the time. 2. Minus point, when it was my turn there was no order for me, so I had to wait because the pizza was then freshly made 3. Minus point is the payment. I was supposed to pay 15.90 euros, but then said that the online card said 13.90 euros. If you didn't believe me, it wasn't until the boss checked himself that he saw that the pizza actually only cost 13.90 euros. Did they want to rip me off? I finally left the restaurant with the pizza at 8 p.m. The biggest minus is that you can only pay in cash. Seems strange to me too... The pizza was okay, but nothing special. There was no excuse for forgetting, I felt more like I was intruding. Then there are sayings everywhere and the map is extremely confusing. Not beautifully designed. I won't eat anything there myself. Have somehow degraded the service and quality.

Again the food was delicious and the service was very nice.

We were at DAVIDE Essen today on the occasion of our 44th wedding anniversary. It was a very good decision. My wife had fish, I had lamb. Both 5 stars

Nice evening, sat outside on the terrace and it started straight away with question marks. The menu is full of emojis and novels. A good 30 minutes to read through and understand the dishes! Really annoying, such a tiring map. Then the drink order. The wish was an alcohol-free shandy. Answer: It's not possible, we won't do it. What is that? Maybe not everyone has it ready-filled on site, but which restaurant today doesn't have non-alcoholic beer and lemonade? However, my companion got a non-alcoholic wheat. Great. Then there was no classic Parma pizza, you had to order it first. Pizza was ok, but far from good. Then at some point the boss came and cashed in on all the guests. Then there was the classic expulsion. Ok, I can still understand, there are opening times. However, there were still guests there, the weather was great and people were still drinking. Oh and in this day and age only offering cash payment... NO-GO!!! There wasn't even a proof of payment. So you know where things are going. All in all a unsuccessful evening. Not recommended and my first visit will be my last.

I experienced one of the most beautiful weddings there and ate probably the best vegetarian buffet on the planet! Many thanks to the team and the (slightly crazy) owner. 😊

The food was very tasty. We were served quickly and the pizza was ready quickly. There are deductions for pure cash payments. We stopped there spontaneously and it was pure luck that we had enough cash with us for once. Otherwise we would have left again. Still not offering card payments in 2024 is really no longer up to date! And one star deducted for the menu, which was certainly meant to be funny but was completely confusing. I want to choose a menu and not have to read a novel. I then capitulated to this menu and simply ordered a ham pizza. You should plan at least half an hour more time if you want to get an overview of the menus on offer.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the food on site, and the owner and staff are very unfriendly towards you. We each had a salad for €17 and two children's pasta. The chicken on the salad was very greasy and when I asked the owner about it and showed it to him, he got really rude. The kids' pasta barely had bolognese and was hard! 60€ for nothing, thank you! In addition, ONLY cash payment is accepted. I wished you had come along a little, since you saw that all the plates were full. Unfortunately I cannot recommend your restaurant.

Extreme case of Molto Bello! As an Italian, I can particularly emphasize how Molto Bello the dishes here are. The green sauce is tasty, the pizza is optimal, the Prosecco has a lot of foam! I was so excited that I accidentally took a crooked photo of my pizza.

We have been there very often and enjoyed it... With the updated prices and smaller portions, this will no longer be the case. A pity!

It's a shame, the food was delicious, just a little too little. It was very warm, although we asked for another table and also asked for an exchange before the reserved table was handed over, the request was rejected just because they didn't want to transfer the order to another table. While eating we were then asked if everything was okay, after we had received the food 3 seconds before and couldn't even try a portion. When we asked if everything was okay and pointed out that there wasn't a lot on the plate, we were told that we should go into the kitchen ourselves to let the boss know because there was a lot going on. When you mentioned when paying that one of the dishes was unfortunately spicy even though you ordered it without being spicy, you just laughed at it. Simply catastrophic service!!!! Oh yeah, and we weren't asked for any more drinks either.

Fri 12/15/23 As a regular guest you will be warmly welcomed, as an occasional guest you will be a “pass-through item”. We don't live locally. We combined wine collection with food and chose the fish menu twice with a glass of wine included. The main course and starter came at exactly the same time. Oh well.. The food was excellent. When paying we were asked to pay a glass of wine for €7.90 on top, which we hadn't even ordered. At the counter the lady admitted her mistake (respect!!), the head waiter took the receipt back and shouted a number at us. We had already counted the final amount (with a tip) on the counter placed. The gentleman took the money. No thanks, no greetings, no goodbye. As I said: transitory items…. We are used to something different from Italians. Update 01/01/24: It is a mystery to me how several (!!!!) only positive 2-4 day old reviews appear today when the restaurant is on “winter break” from December 23rd, 2023.

1,5 Stunden aufs Essen gewartet in einer stickigen Umgebung und wenig ansprechendem Ambiente.

Das Essen war sehr gut, die Bedienung jedoch sehr langsam was die Getränke betrifft.

Leider betrug die Wartezeit für 1 Pizza 1 Stunde. Außerdem war der Kuchen verbrannt und geschmacklos. Der Service war höflich und sehr stimmungsvoll. Ich kann es nicht empfehlen

Es ist und bleibt einfach eines der besten Lokale die ich kenne. Das Essen ist einfach von einer anderen Welt. Der Service ist ebenfalls unschlagbar. Tausendmal danke für die tollen Abende bei euch!

Wir sind mit dem Auto liegen geblieben und haben dort die Zeit überbrückt. Die Pizza und der Service waren SUPER 👍. Wir würden dort gerne wieder essen, leider ist der Weg zu weit (170 km).

Heute bin ich enttäuscht. Zwei bestellte Calzonen haben einfach nach nichts geschmeckt. Die extra Grüne Soße wurde vergessen. Einige Hähnchenbrust Stücke waren noch roh. Wir werden auch in Zukunft weiter dort essen gehen und zum abholen bestellen, aber das von heute war nix

Wenn wir mal in der Nähe sind, dann fest mit eingeplant. Immer wieder gerne.

Die Muscheln waren lecker, die gambas eher enttäuschend. Der Nachtisch war lecker und der Weißwein aus Sizilien (Grillo) fantastisch. Der Service war okayayay. Alles in allem aber ein empfehlenswerter Italiener.

Service anfänglich ein Desaster! 35 Minuten auf die Aufnahme der Getränke gewartet! Danach übernahm den Service die Besitzerin und es lief fantastisch! Essen war sehr gut, auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

Wir sind im Februar von Hamburg nach Verden gezogen und waren von der Restaurant Vielfalt verwöhnt. Aber weder mein Freund noch ich haben in Hamburg oder in irgendeiner anderen Stadt so lecker Italienisch gegessen wie bei Davide! Sehr empfehlenswert! Das essen ist super lecker und qualitativ sehr hochwertig. Meine Pizza Empfehlung: die Raffinata :)

Naja. Bedienung nett aber manchmal etwas durcheinander. Das Essen, besonders Nudeln komplett zu viel Würze bzw. salzig das man nur den Salz Geschmack hat beim essen. Soße zur Calzone nur für Leute die scharf mögen, ebenfalls nicht geniessbar. Ich finde man kann immer nachwürzen und das ist besser als wenn man sein Essen nicht schmeckt. Tut mir leid aber bei den Preisen nicht unser Favorit.

Umfangreiche Speisekarte, da findet wirklich jeder etwas..... wenn er sich durch die unnötig langen Texte gekämpft hat.....

Sehr gute Weine auf der Karte. Leider schwangt die Qualität der Speisen.

L'ambiente accogliente e il personale italiano ti fa subito sentire a casa. La pizza era unica, pasta croccante ma non secca, con la mozzarella di cui si sentiva il sapore di latte e il pomodoro semplicemente perfetto. Il liquore a base di grappa di melone è stato il tocco finale, dal gusto fresco e dolce insieme. I titolari simpatici e affabili hanno contribuito alla serata. Spero di tornarci presto!

Reichlich Auswahl an Gerichten und dabei noch sehr lecker. Personal sehr freundlich, selbst der Chef kommt zum servieren. Immer wieder einen Besuch wert.
