Wie wollten mit der Firma mit 10 Personen unsere Weihnachtsfeier hier verleben. Der Security "begrüßte" uns unhöflich mit Zigarette und Red Bull Dose vor der Tür, maulte uns an. Auch die hinzugerufenen Kellnerin ließ Freundlichkeit und das Gefühl hier willkommen zu sein, vermissen. Die Bedienung war schier überfordert. Auf Nachfrage wurde extrem unhöflich reagiert. Essen war okay. Personal leider ungenügend. Schade.

Deliciosa comida solo "queja" es las porciones sre tan grande! Lugar encantador con muy buenos servidores. Se lo recomiendo a cualquiera que ame la comida alemana.

Dejlig hyggelig tysk restaurant / bar centralt i Kiel. God atmosfære , dejlige øl og rigtig lækker mad så det ud til. De har meget travlt og vi havde ikke bestilt bord så derfor nåede vi desværre ikke at smage deres schweinehaxe hvilket må være et must. Det ved vi til næste gang :) Men fedt sted helt klart anbefalelsesværdigt men husk at bestille bord ;-)

Super delicious food at very reasonable prices. Very German.

The food was delicious and a lot. The prices are completely okay. The waitresses were great and very attentive. However, the background noise was very high, which wasn't all that great. The picture shows chicken breast fillet gratinated with hollandaise and mushrooms. Plus a side salad and fried potatoes.

Drinks and food were okay. But the table was from 7pm to 11pm on a Friday evening!!! reserved. At 10 p.m. we were shown the door with 9 people. Unfortunately the boss or shift manager was very unfriendly, the service itself was friendly and accommodating. We are looking for another Bavarian restaurant for the future :(

Knuckle with sauerkraut and fried potatoes was very tasty and a huge portion, which I couldn't manage. Nice atmosphere and very attentive service staff. If you want to eat in peace and quiet, you shouldn't go to the inn during peak hours, as it is relatively noisy then.

It's a large tavern over two floors, it was very full and we still managed to get a table. Unfortunately, the fried potatoes were limp and swimming in fat and the meat loaf was very soft in consistency. The fried potatoes were also swimming in fat in the tavern pan. When clearing the plates, the waitress asked if everything was okay, we said no, pointing out that the plates were half full with fried potatoes. We ordered an Averna for digestion, then the restaurant management came and said they should complain about it straight away then they would have reacted, the staff there is constantly on duty and just running around and they didn't ask if everything was okay. As compensation we got the Averna for free. It's a shame 😟 we'll try again anyway

We can't recommend schnitzel, it was so thin and hard...not a joy to eat. Other dishes at the next tables all looked good, visually. You can sit outside, which attracts a crowd. Inside it is rustic, cozy. Our service was top notch, so the service was the best part of our visit there.

Simply great! We came here on a Friday evening without an appointment and were immediately welcomed by the very friendly staff and shown to a nice seat. The decor definitely has the feel of a tavern. Unfortunately the acoustics are rather bad, so it was very loud. Our order was taken promptly and after a really short time the food was already served. We had Wienerschnitzel with hunter's sauce and beer goulash with spaetzle and what can you say? It was incredibly delicious! Everything was perfect here and I can really recommend this restaurant!

Everything to your complete satisfaction. The waiter was super accommodating and friendly. The food was great and the vegetables were actually very fresh. Completely legitimate in terms of price. I had Jägerschnitzel with fried potatoes, apple strudel with vanilla ice cream and a Pepsi light and the whole thing cost €31. The price is justified for the existing ambience and the staff.

Great restaurant! We were warmly welcomed without a reservation and were given a place straight away. Very animal-loving restaurant, we had our dog with us which wasn't a problem and he got water straight away. The food was super tasty and large portions! Something for everyone, whether regional or hearty Bavarian! We're always happy to come back when we're in the corner again!

Nice pub in Kiel city center. Rustic, yet contemporary ambience, slightly Bavarian. Highly recommended for a sociable evening.

They advised us very well by telling us to share dishes. There was an error in the order and they changed it immediately. All very good. I would highlight the pretzel (warm and crunchy) and the sauerkraut which was very soft.

The waitresses here were friendly and helpful. We had the pork knuckle and potatoes which was really delicious. The manageress is bossy.

Was here for the first time. Very tasty, service friendly and helpful. Were there at lunchtime, the inn also offers a small menu with lunch (cheaper + dessert). Unfortunately I didn't get any dessert.

We spontaneously went to eat there before heading to the arena. We found a place outside but unfortunately it was only for 2 people. The extremely friendly service immediately made an effort and we were allowed to move to the next table in less than 3 minutes. The food was excellent. You have to take a bit of time because it's always very crowded, but it's definitely worth it. The portion is almost too small for the money... We didn't finish all three because it was so much. The waitress in the pink work clothes was responsible for outside and was simply awesome. The heart on the tongue 😝 . All in all, definitely highly recommended. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Yesterday I went there again after years to eat a delicious pub knuckle. But it was really bad. The knuckle was dry and tasted like the day before, the dumplings were dry and inedible. The dark ones and also the light ones. Sauce was also in short supply so we couldn't get the dry things down. The sauerkraut was as intended and not perfect. The taste here wasn't worth 1 star. The ambience is great.

I would give it 4.5 stars because the vegetables were very hard and the spaetzle wasn't as usual either. But service was very nice as always, just a bit unprofessional here and there. And ambience simply 10/10

A must if you go out to eat in Kiel. Great rustic inn. The food was good, a bit bland for my personal taste, large portions and well prepared. The service was quick, attentive but unfortunately for the second time very cheeky and cheeky! If I order a starter and a main course then that's my problem and I don't have to let the staff tell me if I can't make it there will be "trouble" etc. (aimed at the wait staff who mainly work in the lower area). I will definitely visit the inn again and hopefully the criticism will be taken into account.

Saturday lunch time without booking, most tables were reserved but very, very lovely staff welcoming and taking me upstairs to give me a table straightway 😊 She asked me for a menus but I knew why I came to this restaurant and as soon as I showed the pictures for what I wanted to have, she got it straightway. That was exactly expected and delicious ❤️❤️ For my suggestion, better book a table for just incase. But Waiter n waitress were very lovely and welcoming 😊 I'm from all the way from Sydney and I enjoyed very very much and recommended 100%👍

Full marks for everyone who likes Brauhaus cuisine. You can also sit outside and enjoy the evening sun in September. The Portions are very generous and the price is right. The schnitzel with pretzel pamenade was well seasoned and delicious, the vegetable dumpling pan makes every vegetarian and non-vegetarian full and happy. I would have liked more dumplings because I just like them. But that's a matter of taste. And maybe the pan would then be called a dumpling vegetable pan 😁.

The ambience is implemented in a charming rustic style right down to the toilets. The dishes are sumptuous and authentic. The service is attentive, friendly and happy to make recommendations. We found it noteworthy that when we wanted to order a starter, the information about the size of the main courses was given. The advice to avoid the starter was confirmed after the main course and we were happy to have saved the money. The waitress was happy that no food had to be thrown away. A win-win situation. Good morning, The restaurant is friendly and nice and in a good atmosphere and location. I ordered a Viennese schnitzel with fried potatoes and I was really looking forward to it and apart from the schnitzel itself, I was unfortunately very disappointed. I haven't eaten such bad fried potatoes in a long time and I make them much better myself at home. Unfortunately the quality of the kitchen was poor, but the service was very nice and very friendly. I had the beer schnitzel and I have to say, I haven't had such a bad schnitzel in a long time. Sorry... It was pretty bland, I've eaten better schnitzel at motorway service stations. The fries were good, the salad was okay. The portion itself was very generous. The atmosphere in the restaurant is rustic and cozy, with the character of a tavern ;-) I just think it's a shame that there is no freshly tapped Bavarian beer (Helles, for example). Hello everyone, Sorry, I see this a little differently than the previous comments here. The service is okay, I don't want to say anything about that. Friendly. The food, on the other hand, is rather unappealing. 1. Don't put any sauce on the schnitzel, let alone drown it in it. You don't necessarily have to make your own sauce, that doesn't matter, but simply taking the mixed vegetable frozen bag from Edeka or Aldi and serving it lukewarm without salt is tough, everyone knows that, it's noticeable. The fried potatoes were one of the worst, they came out of the fryer and then into the holding machine without salt and love or something like that??? How do you get them so brown and yet tasteless? I also had the roast pork, which was cold, rock hard and it was the dry end piece, that doesn't have to be the case, right? I know the sausages, they tasted strange this time, how come? By the way, the meat loaf too, where do you buy it, how long has it been stored? All in all, the home cooking that I was looking forward to was unfortunately missing everything. Maybe check this out instead of being defensively resigned and completely convinced to dismiss the reviews as usual, that would be nice.
