Kan godt li sydtysk mad, og det fik vi også. Vi fik wienschnitzel af kalv, og den var noget tør og hård. Det var ikke god nok kvalitet til prisen.

Venligt og opmærksomt personale. Vi var meget tilfredse med både mad og øl. Hyggelig stemning. Eneste minus var toilettet, som godt kunne være lidt renere.

Anlässlich einer Radtour haben wir in Kiel übernachtet und haben zum Abendessen das Wirtshaus aufgesucht. Leider wurden wir masslos enttäuscht. Spargel total verkocht, die Bratkartoffeln sehr fettig. So schlecht haben wir auf unserer ganzen Schleswig-Holstein Radtour nie gegessen.

We found das Wirtshaus while in Kiel for the day from a cruise in May. Very nice to find an authentic German place amongst all the Italian and and Oriental offerings. Monday was Schnitzel day so we all (four of us) had a different schnitzel each for 12 euro which was good value and they were great. Huge portions but we managed a the strudel afterward and it was superbe! We sat outside on a really sunny day and the waiter was very friendly and full of advice on places to visit in the area. Would definitely go back

Quaint pub restaurant. The service was very friendly and helpful. The food was very well sized and tasted excellent, in our case it was knuckle with red cabbage and dumplings, Jägerschnitzel with fried potatoes and a snack. The waiting time was bearable despite the seats being well occupied. Unfortunately, the chairs are quite uncomfortable, but they don't detract from the experience of "The Wirtshaus". 70€ for three people with a drink is not a bargain but it is justified and people are happy to pay.

The service was super friendly, quick and good. The ambience is great in the inn. The food has always been good in the last few times, but this time it was fine. That was definitely just an exception. I'd love to come back there. The inn is highly recommended.

Spontaneously drove to this restaurant through Google. We still got a nice place by the window. Staff super friendly and attentive. Food requests were implemented without any problems. Taste: For us the fries seemed to have been in the deep fryer for too long and were therefore too hard/firm. The schnitzels were good, but not much with the typical “schnitzel” taste. Unfortunately it had to be seasoned. Portion was ok. Prices: was reasonable

Everything was fine and we got a table at short notice. Food tasted very good and was sufficient.

Email inquiries will not be answered When asked on site, only curt answers Beer wasn't fully poured, 1.5 cm below the fill line, when asked it said "that's just the way it is with this type" Conclusion: never go there again and would advise against it

We found the restaurant based on reviews and were very pleased. We didn’t reserve a table, we went in and got a table for two for an hour (this is on Saturday at 17:00). The waitress was very friendly. Our minimal knowledge of German was enough for a comfortable order. Hearty Bavarian cuisine, large portions. The apple strudel is top notch. I highly recommend the dark draft beer. We will definitely come back here again when we visit the wonderful city of Kiel again.

Price / performance of the food was top. Service was friendly and quick. The tavern atmosphere came across well through the ambience. Next time you visit Kiel, definitely again.

Great food, very tasty and also enough in quantity! Freshly tapped light beer which is very tasty!! Classic German cuisine but something for everyone. There's also something extra for the little guests! Super nice staff who are happy to help you choose the dishes. I'd love to come by again

Been there a few times now and the food was great! And great service from Mr. Achim! We were always given clear information about the food and given recommendations if we didn't know what to eat.

The food here has gone way down. The schnitzel was ok. The sausage salad was not marinated. Dry, coarsely cut meat sausage. After complaining, the sausage came back bathed in vinegar. You couldn't eat that.

We were there for the first time spontaneously on a Friday evening. The restaurant was already very full, we were lucky to get a table, but with the notice that there was still an event taking place. The menu has a large and good selection. The order was taken quickly and the drinks were brought quickly. We didn't have to wait long for the food either. Our meals were hot, fresh and delicious. We were very satisfied with everything overall.

It's just a dream...every time. Yummy yummy yummy...nice nice nice! Anyone who complains here should see a doctor!

Great restaurant with Bavarian food. We were very satisfied, there are also 3 lunch menus, including a vegetarian one. What can I say, the service was very friendly and attentive, the food was simply great. Again any time.

Lots of nice messes on the memory card, but also vegetarian and beef/chicken on offer. Good selection of drinks, very attentive service. Furnishings that match the name, overall very satisfied.

Conveniently located near the shopping centers, it's a very pleasant place. This time we all wanted to enjoy famous Apfelstrudel, and it was wonderful with ice cream and sauce. Apfelschorle was tasty. Love german cousin and this place is very nice.

Beer is delicious, there are different types. The food is partly frozen. We had schnitzels, which were nothing. The snack wasn't great either. The waitresses are very friendly and hardworking. It's OK for a snack and a beer, but I wouldn't necessarily go there again for anything else.

Nice service, good food. Good location. Were there again today and unfortunately it wasn't as good as usual. Food (haxe) wasn't nearly as good as usual. And at 9 p.m. the last round was called. Very unfortunate.

We were there spontaneously on Friday evening. It looked crowded, but we still took a step inside. We were immediately spoken to and taken to a table that had just become available. The restaurant was very busy. Nevertheless, our order was taken quickly and it didn't take long for the drinks and food to arrive. We had an incredibly charming and great waitress who gave us good advice and served us very kindly. Very attentive - a talent when the restaurant is full. THANKS! The potato soup was delicious - the pretzel was a blast!! The only drawback... there is a very unpleasant smell in the basement near the toilets. Conclusion: We'll be back. :)

Monday is schnitzel day, but unfortunately the schnitzel with onions is only average, it lacks the typical wavy breading and buttery taste, just defrosting and frying in fat is not enough. The well-made inn is a stylish franchise with system catering. I expected better. Only the boyish waitress was able to maintain the tavern character.

It was good, tasty and relaxed. We had a good time there.

I wanted to eat there today. It was 1:40 p.m. According to the internet there is no break, it should be open all day in the afternoon. I asked for a table and the waiter immediately told me that I had to hurry because they closed at 2:30 p.m. That was fine with me, he quickly showed me to my table. I didn't even have time to take off my jacket and sit down before he asked what dish it would be for lunch. I said I'd like to take a look at the map. And he just said “then quickly, we’ll be closing soon”. Just to take notes, there are 50 minutes between 1:40 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.!! That was too stupid for me and I left again. Of course the waiter had to say something stupid to me. That was underground, not possible at all. Someone like that has no place in service. I learned that the guest is always king, at least not here. It's best to hire customer-oriented staff and, above all, please note the correct opening times online! Once and never again, I moved on hungry.

Completely satisfied after the evening with colleagues. The experience and food fit the name perfectly. We had dinner together as work colleagues and we had fun.

The food is very good for the price. The beer is tasty and the service is very friendly. Not quite as personal and tasty as in some houses in the country but we are also in the system gasto in the city. Gladly again!

Large portion, unfortunately vegetables were much too hard, I probably only saw hot water for a short time without seasoning and butter. Fried potatoes were more like wedges with onions and bacon

Very tasty food. Goulash was a big enough portion with a nice amount of meat and spices. Unlike most restaurants they don't make their food taste blend. Germknödel was also on top level.

Vom Empfang bis zur Verabschiedung nur freundliche Gesichter. Am Tisch wurden wir super freundlich aber nicht aufdringlich bedient. Wir hatten ein paar kleine Sonderwünsche die komplett umgesetzt wurden. Das Essen war schmackhaft und sehr reichlich. Reste wurden wie selbstverständlich zum mitnehmen eingepackt. Also wir waren rundum zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr angenehmes Wirtshaus, mit köstlichen Speisen und Getränken, sowie einem sehr netten Service. Wir kommen gerne mal wieder rein.

Ein richtig gemütliches Lokal mit bayrischen Spezialitäten mitten in Kiel. Im Erdgeschoss ist es ein bisschen trubelig, im Obergeschoss bedeutend ruhiger und man kann von vielen Plätzen nach unten schauen. Sehr freundliches Personal und richtig große Portionen. Neben Haxen etc. kann man auch saisonal Grünkohl oder Ähnliches bekommen. Auch der Salat mit gebratenen Hähnchen schmeckt supergut , ist reichlich und man bekommt sogar noch eine gro0e Laugenbrezel dazu. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und geschmeckt!!

Coole Lokalität, hatten nicht reserviert, es wurde dennoch noch was ermöglicht. Essen war auch gut, ggf mal über Rentnerportionen nachdenken.... Gleichwohl sehr zu empfehlen!

Obsługa miła, jedzenie nie za ciekawe, jadłam sznycla, troche jak stara podeszwa, bez smaku , panierka nie świeża i raczej z frytkownicy, kartofle zasmażane jako takie. Cena nie wysoka, ale jedzenie niestety nie polecam.

Wir waren am 28.12.23 da, sehr spontan, obwohl alles fast reserviert war , hat man uns als Touris doch noch einen freien Platz geben können. Ambiente sehr stimmig für ein Wirtshaus und Service echt top. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Essen war leider etwas enttäuschend an diesem Tag . Schnitzel mit Zwiebel Bier Sauce: Schnitzel war leider sehr trocken ( vermutlich nochmal aufgewärmt) und eine fertig Sauce mit Unmengen Glutamat . Käse Spätzle : Spätzle sehr geschmacksneutral und der verwendete Käse konnte leider auch nicht überzeugen bzw. das Gericht zu dem machen was es sein sollte …. Wir kommen bei unserem nächsten Kiel Besuch gern nochmal rein, vielleicht lag es einfach an derTagesform des Küchenpersonals…

Wir haben hier Mittagstisch gegessen. War o k und vom Preis in Ordnung. Der Service war freundlich , aber nicht so aufmerksam. Wir haben lange vor unseren leeren Tellern gesessen. Aber trotzdem gehen wir sicher noch mal her, weil es uns dort gefällt.

Der Kellner war zwar freundlich, jedoch eher lustlos! Die Küche haben sie am 26.12 auch schon um 20:00 Uhr geschlossen. Meine Haxe war leider zu zäh und zerfiel nicht vom Knochen, so wie es eigentlich sein sollte. Der Knödel war viel zu trocken und nicht genießbar und es gab nur ein Tropfen Soße dazu. Das Schnitzel war nicht frisch und selbstgemacht- wurde nur eben schnell in die Fritteuse geschmissen. Für so ein Lokal eher sehr enttäuschend - hatte eher was von Imbiss. Würde ich nicht wieder hin und würde es auch nicht weiterempfehlen! Ich hätte es selbst besser hinbekommen.

Hier war es sehr gemütlich und relativ ruhig. Wir haben nur etwas getrunken, deshalb kann ich natürlich nichts zum Essen sagen, aber die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm.

Kaum zur Tür rein wurden wir freundlichst vom Personal empfangen,haben einen zweier Tisch im oberen Bereich bekommen,die Mädels und. Jungs machen wirklich einen tollen Job, Getränke und Essen kam schnell ,war frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker, würden jederzeit dort immer wieder essen gehen wenn der Weg nicht zu weit wäre(Nähe Potsdam )sehr zu empfehlen!!!

Ein wirklich urig gemütliches Wirtshaus mit deftiger Küche. Der Service war gut und sehr freundlich. Das Essen hat uns auch gut geschmeckt. Die Bratkartoffeln waren wir etwas zu fettig (evtl frittiert??) Die Panierung des Wiener Schnitzels war ok, aber geht besser. Alles in allem war es aber lecker und wir würden auch gern wiederkommen.

Orginal deutsche Küche und Montag ist Schnitzeltag. Der Service ist großartig. Aufmerksame Leute und freundlich, sympathische Ausstrahlung. Zu derben Scherzen aufgelegt, perfekte Atmosphäre.

Hyggelig rustik bayersk restaurant i centrum af Kiel. Lækker mad i store portioner. Frisk og opmærksom betjening. Har været der flere gange og det kan godt anbefales.

Deftige Küche zum guten Preis. Ein Highlight ist der Schnitzel-Montag. Die Portionen sind sehr gut und der Service war überaus freundlich. Platzreservierungen im Vorfeld sind durchaus angemessen.

Sehr urriges Restaurant. Lecker und geschmacklich top. Preis stimmt. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Immer wieder gern.
