I really enjoyed it. The food, ambiance, and service were all very good. We did have to wait a bit for our food, though, even though the place was only lightly populated.

Went there for the first time today. First impression was positive. At least as far as the facility was concerned. Very beautiful and appealing. The store was busy, but it was also very loud and very drafty. Service was friendly but also quite busy. Meal (4x main course) took over 1 hour. When asked why it took so long, they said only four people could work in the kitchen. Then all I can say is make the menu smaller or let in a few fewer guests. The food itself was solid and the prices were appropriate for the quality. However, the pasta dishes were really clear, the grill plate was okay but nothing more. The dessert (apple strudel) was great and a huge portion for 7.50. All in all it was a grade 3 for us.

The greenhouse is definitely recommended. Very nice staff, courteous and attentive. Delicious cocktails and very tasty food. Large portions. Brunch is also highly recommended. The only negative point is the noise when it is very crowded.

A beautiful location with great food. But it is the staff that deserves special praise here: extremely friendly and incredibly attentive!

The greenhouse is a wonderful place. The owners and employees are very familiar, polite and solution-oriented. In addition to the ambience, the people make this place so special. You just feel good. Before the renovation it was a bit old, but there were so many plants, it was like a jungle. It would be nice if a little more of the original greenhouse returned.

Exceptional, well deserved for the price

We were there for brunch. A pure disaster. The food is inedible, even in the hospital and on the plane I get better food. The rolls are sticky, the “scrambled eggs” from the package are not even warm. I don't even need to tell you about the rest of the meal. We paid €95 for the brunch buffet for three people and it didn't even include a cappuccino. I am extremely disappointed. Plus, it's so loud there that you can't have a conversation at all. A pure background noise - no trace of a cozy brunch. Definitely not recommended and a waste of money.

Now I had to be old enough to write my first bad review. We went for brunch this morning and it was more like a car accident that you couldn't look away from. I still can't believe how something can be so expensive and of such poor quality. I really think any motorway service station could have done a better job. The warm food was almost exclusively ready-made and was warmed rather than really freshly cooked. I would honestly say none of it was freshly cooked. The taste of the scrambled eggs was not edible and was also overcooked (see photo) - pudding from the bag... The rolls were sticky - I don't know where to stop or end... ready-made cheese in slices.. I have rarely eaten so badly for €30 per person. Here, quantity takes precedence over quality. It couldn't be more loving

I have known the greenhouse for 25 years. The greenhouse ambience and the food have developed very well over time. The food was good to very good. The atmosphere is very inviting and not crowded. There is also parking in front of the door.

Was there for the first time and probably won't come back... The portion of the grill plate with 3 different types of meat was a joke... I went home hungry again. The woman's steak was still raw, even though it should have been medium rare. When the waitress had cleared away from us, we pointed it out to her and showed her the meat. She argued that we could have let us know and then they would have put it on the grill again, well, but if there wasn't a waiter in sight or asked us if everything was okay... then it's also hard to let us know. The ambience is very nicely done. But it still didn't blow me away that I would come back.

The food is a total disaster either the meat is fried to death or it is still twitching. The baked potato is a better jacket potato with quark. If you complain to the waitress you will be ignored for the rest of the evening and have to wait for the next order.

We were very disappointed with our meal. There were 6 people there and only one of us was satisfied. The Herrenstaek was not medium but raw. And completely tasteless. The pork tenderloin was fried to death. I've never eaten such a dry fillet anywhere. No trace of juiciness. That's what the prices are for. You won't see us there anymore.

We were registered for brunch with a large group in December. I called employees three times to make reservations and confirmed the number of participants twice. On the website the brunch was advertised as €29.90 per person, but in the end they suddenly wanted to charge €34.90 per person because it was Advent brunch. Unfortunately, there was no mention of this anywhere, nor were we informed about it when we came in. In the end we were able to reach a compromise in a conversation with the boss. What we found particularly problematic was the justification that an Advent Sunday would be a public holiday and the staff would therefore be more expensive. The staff denied the better pay to us and we all know that it is not a public holiday. That doesn't work at all! In addition, the buffet selection was rather poor for both price levels. 2 types of cold cuts, 2 types of cheese plus cream cheese, some salmon and roast beef plus a bit of pudding / muesli and warm dishes, too much money... the croissants were all gone before all the guests could choose something, dark rolls were also all quickly gone. Smaller rolls would be more advantageous, then you can eat more different types. In any case, none of these 15 ladies will come to brunch again.

Service only gets an A because the restaurant - in its own words - has not been able to receive reservations via the website since January 15, 2025. You make a reservation - thinking you have a table - and are deeply disappointed (luckily I asked again by phone). At the very least, this is NEGLECTIVE on the part of the management of the place!

Today we were here for brunch, the service staff are very friendly and accommodating, tasty and rich food all around. Parking spaces are a bit tight, but that can't be changed. You can easily park your car in the surrounding area. I liked it.

We loved this restaurant. We ordered shared plate for 3 person but was enough for 4. Absolutely recommend it.

A special ambience with a feel-good factor. The staff is very courteous and attentive. The food is okay. After speaking to the staff about my intolerance, a menu was put together for me. Gluten-free dishes are therefore absolutely possible and feasible here. We have always been here with a reservation and that was a good thing. Lastly: A big congratulations to the staff for the Christmas holidays 2024. The store was very busy but everything ran smoothly. There was no trace of stress, there was really a sense of relaxation and a nice atmosphere in the house. Thanks for the evening.

Good restaurant for family events. Good service, helpful staff

Wir waren am 26.12.2024 in Treibhaus essen. Die Weihnachtskarte war nicht gut gemacht. Nicht mal Vegetarisch dabei. Das Fleisch war trocken, konnte man nicht essen. Ich hatte einen Kaffee nach den Essen, der war so schlecht, der war mindestens 4 Stunden alt. Habe ich zurück gegeben und musste trotzdem 4€ bezahlen. Das war das letzte mal für mich.

Unfortunately, our Christmas dinner with the family on December 26th was a disappointment. Although we normally enjoy eating there, this experience disappointed us. The special Christmas menu offered around 8-10 dishes, almost all of which were served with baked potatoes - a not very varied selection. No dish was vegetarian, and the meat (beef, pork, turkey) was consistently dry. Only the duck was OK. Even the ribs were dry, which was particularly disappointing. A family member, who is a chef, was convinced that some of the dishes - including red cabbage, steaks and potatoes - were warmed up. We also noticed that identical dishes on the regular menu were offered €2-3 cheaper. The prices on the Christmas menu, at €23.50 to €30 per dish, were clearly too high for the quality offered. A dry turkey steak with some vegetables, a small piece of baguette and baked potatoes for €23.50 was definitely not appropriate. We were all really looking forward to the meal, but in the end everyone was disappointed. Especially at Christmas, when families get together, a restaurant should place particular emphasis on quality. One thing is certain for us: we won't eat there again at Christmas.

The Advent brunch is highly recommended. If you don't get enough here, you're doing something wrong.

The food was super good, service was great. Unfortunately, our table was so awkwardly placed that every time new guests came we felt cold, which was really uncomfortable. The restaurant was also very full and I had to communicate quite loudly because I sometimes felt like I was in a train station.

Great place. Food was very good, prices reasonable, clean and tidy. Friendly staff etc. Only the climate gave me a bit of difficulty, the name lived up to it. It was simply too warm inside for me. Appropriate clothing would have been shorts and a T-shirt. The vegetarian cuisine could be expanded, but these dishes are a bit neglected here. Today's visit (09.11.24) underlines everything written so far. It definitely remains a recommendation.

The Treibhaus is still one of my favorite restaurants because the memories of beautiful family celebrations and celebrations accompany every visit. Unfortunately, the last meal was disappointing. The medium rare men's steak we ordered was served very fatty and almost well done. I reported this to the waitress, who immediately recognized the overcooked steak and took the meat to the kitchen on a separate plate. I waited about 10 minutes for the medium rare steak I ordered with my side dishes, which had unfortunately cooled down in the meantime, and ultimately received the blue version. I have rarely eaten such bad meat, both in terms of cooking and quality. I will definitely never order this dish here again. Another dish served at the table was also overcooked. The turkey strips were so dry that our companion had barely touched them.

We were invited to brunch yesterday. It was very nice, but now comes the big but, it was a shame that the rolls were cold and totally sticky. The breakfast buffet was so delicious and then this sad roll. It dragged everything down.

Food okay, but nothing exceptional. Unfortunately they wanted to bring us two desserts to the table that we ordered differently. Too bad. Unfortunately, the service puts the used plates on the neighboring tables and forgets them there. That's not nice. Unfortunately, only cash payment is possible. The evening was okay. But once is enough for us.

Very attractive facility! Our food was okay, but it took a little longer because a larger group got a buffet at the same time. Relatively noisy location. Friendly service! However, we were placed near the toilet and had to constantly close the door because it smelled unpleasant and some guests didn't close the door behind them!

We went for brunch because the description of it was so good. Unfortunately we were disappointed. Homemade sausage specialties were limited to large commercial salami and mushroom mortadella. boarding school Cheese on various cream cheeses and a blue cheese and brie. Various smoked fish on salmon. The warm dishes offered (although the ribs mentioned in the description were only served around 12 p.m.) tasted ok. Unfortunately there was no sauce with the roast, just the gravy in which it lay. Ventilation should be reconsidered as the air becomes of poor quality after a short time. Furthermore, some chairs could use a cleaning. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio for brunch is not right at all. And it doesn't correspond to the description either. When it comes to specialties from the country butcher (as advertised), I expect liver/black pudding, ham, various cold cuts and perhaps home-made salads. Not just cheap salami and champion mortdella! The brunch is not worth the money for around 30 euros. Not recommended.

We were there with a group of 35 people on a Saturday. Everything was perfect as agreed. We first met outside and ate inside later in the evening. The food was excellent, the service was incredibly friendly and the numerous drinks were brought out very quickly. You can't get more than that at really very fair prices. I was invited for a birthday. It's very nice and cozy. The breakfast brunch was very filling and sufficient. There was really a bit of everything and it was quickly replenished when something ran low. I will gladly come again.

The service was friendly But the table wasn't clean. Maybe because of the tree's resin and there are lots of pieces of leaves coming off. The tree didn't look healthy either. The food was oversalted and partly cold and we had to wait 40 minutes for the food. I have to say for myself that was the first and last time I was there.

Wanted, but couldn't. This is how you could describe the dining experience in the greenhouse. Unfortunately there was an incorrect order which led to unnecessary discussions. There are actually better burgers than in the greenhouse. For 14.50 I expect a non-industrial roll. The sauces range from "works like that" to "doesn't work at all." There is no ketchup with the fries but a curry. The entire staff lacks the look of hosts, there are napkins and cutlery everywhere on the floor. The terrace is not swept. In the end we left feeling like we didn't want to come back and a bill of almost 60 euros for 2 burgers and 2 cocktails.

It was a really nice evening. The food and service was perfect. Highly recommended.

Very short and sweet. Our last visit here. The store is stuck in the late 90s. At least as far as the menu is concerned. The burger was average at best. It's on the menu as a hamburger and then comes as a cheeseburger (the cheese isn't listed as an ingredient on the menu either)* Good thing I don't have an allergy. The salad was chopped green lettuce drowned in mayo. Because it was supposed to be a Caesar salad, some parmesan was grated on top. Sorry, but that's like cappuccino with spray cream. To be fair, the salad was not charged after the complaint. As was the case 10 years ago, vegetarians are welcome to “leave the meat out of the dishes,” as the waitress said, as it is not a vegetarian restaurant. Well, everyone can make of it what they want. The greenhouse won't see us again any time soon.

If you want to have a relaxed brunch with the family or just as a couple then you've come to the right place! There is life there, which means it can sometimes be a bit turbulent. Just bring fun!

Restaurant with a nice atmosphere and good cocktails, but unfortunately with a very limited vegetarian selection. I have been in the greenhouse off and on for many years. The location is really nicely decorated, you can sit comfortably here. The staff is mostly friendly and the service is quite quick. The food here is also good for meat eaters. Unfortunately for vegetarians like me there isn't much choice, there are only a few salads and two baked potatoes. I would like to see more creativity these days, there are many vegetarians now and it is not difficult to offer good vegetarian alternatives. The negative highlight here was the Christmas menu, which was completely without vegetarian options. The staff said unfortunately there was nothing they could do. Only after a long discussion was a baked potato served. I think that's a shame, these days there's a vegetarian in every group. I can therefore recommend the greenhouse for meat eaters, but not for vegetarians and vegans.

The food was significantly better about 2 years ago. Today fried potatoes were thick slices with no taste and not fried, you had to look for onions and bacon... And the prices are quite high and the quality of the food is not justified...

After the first brunch we canceled our second reservation. We were disappointed with the organization and the offer. Lines were far too long and the guests were left with their bellies or clothes in the food. There were no vegetarian or vegan products (not even alternative milk upon request these days) and no fresh fruit. When we asked a service person for tap water (for our baby), she first had to ask the day manager. We found this a bit strange and it gave the impression that the employees were instructed to collect the money using plain water. In addition to coffee, tea and juice, this is not integrated. We personally would have wished that to be different. The toilets are also busy during brunch and looked appropriate. If there are so many people or needs, it is advisable to send someone through again during this rush hour and do a rough rinse or mop. It would also be advisable to replace the completely dirty changing mat.

Good food, friendly service, rolls at brunch were very sticky, like they were 2 days old. At 11 a.m. it was already 28° and bad air in the restaurant on a cloudy day in May. Lots of tripping hazards due to plants and small steps. Less suitable for disabled and old people, no disabled toilets.

Relaxed atmosphere in the garden and in the greenhouse itself. Great menu. We always come back here. Unfortunately the prices have been 'adjusted' again. Nevertheless, it is always well filled here...

I can really recommend the Sunday brunch. Everything from breakfast to lunch. Large selection. And is constantly being replenished. It's best to make a reservation as it's really busy.

Ambience very nice. Were there twice. The greenhouse was very warm during the day for brunch. When it came to the meat and the mousse, we were concerned about whether it would still be ok to serve on the buffet without being chilled. Unfortunately, the fresh fruit for dessert was no longer replenished. Tea, coffee and orange juice are included in the price. Parking spaces are available in front of the house. The hot food lacked sophistication. It was ok. Card payment is possible. On the second visit I ordered a tomato soup. Highly overpriced for 7 euros. Nothing special. Was ok. The baked nachos were delicious. Unfortunately, hot sauce and jalapenos were missing. There was also a kind of sour cream.

The staff is friendly, attentive and up for a laugh. Nice location and modern furnishings. All cocktails in happy hour for €8. The ribs are very tender, I can only recommend them.

Apart from an argument among the staff, it was an excellent meal. Friendly service and very tasty food. There is also a parking space directly in front of the entrance. Conclusion: Recommended.

Went for brunch with 30 people on March 31, 2024. The layout of the buffet was very poor, i.e. you could only get to the buffet from one side, which resulted in very long queues. The quality of the food was good. A big point of criticism was that various dishes were no longer available at 12:00 p.m., even though brunch time was until 2:00 p.m. My conclusion: I wouldn't take part in the brunch again.
