We went for brunch and, after reading some negative reviews, I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was fully booked, but despite the large groups, there were no long queues at the two buffets. Food was constantly being replenished, and the hot dishes were varied.

We went there for brunch. It was supposed to last until 2 pm. We arrived at 11:15 am, and after 11:30 am, they stopped replenishing the food. We didn't get any bacon, potato gratin, or dessert.

We went to Sunday brunch today and had reserved a table for five. When we wanted to start eating, there were no plates at first, which can happen. After we got in line for cold dishes, we found that almost all the platters were empty, whether cheese, salmon, or ham. The hot dishes were plentiful and hot. Overall, it was okay, but for the price, nothing more than mediocre.

The food was delicious as always. The cocktails were so good you'd want more, and the service was attentive and friendly. It wasn't too crowded, so the atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. We always enjoy coming back. Happy New Year to the team! Keep up the good work!

A thoroughly enjoyable restaurant visit! The food was of very high quality and tasted absolutely delicious. The stylish ambiance invites you to linger. The attentive staff and the warm and welcoming owner deserve special mention. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back.

Lovely brunch buffet. There's something for everyone, and they keep replenishing it until just before closing. Very friendly staff! It costs more during Advent than listed on the website. However, we didn't find any other dishes that would justify the higher price. Nevertheless, it was lovely, as always!

The food is delicious, and there's a good variety. However, you should dress warmly in winter, as it gets quite cold inside.

Three of us ate, and our first impression was very loud. First, there was very dry bread, cold, with some pre-made sauce. A salad with shrimp was the starter. The shrimp were very good. The salad, unfortunately, had a bottled dressing. The pumpkin seed soup was still OK. My wife had a sea bass with overcooked fish. We had a sirloin steak which was completely unseasoned. So, we left the cheese and mushrooms aside and then seasoned everything again. The baked potato with sour cream was just quark. It was my first and last time eating there.

We stayed here twice during our rehabilitation stay, once on a Friday and once on a Saturday. Friday was fantastic – service, food, everything. Saturday was a different story: we waited half an hour after arriving for our drink order, 15 minutes for an additional drink order, and 15 minutes to pay. This was simply too much for us, probably due to understaffing. The food was okay. The atmosphere is great, but unfortunately, our seat was near the restrooms, and it was quite cold because the door was frequently opened. We had to park in the Edeka parking lot and had a 10-minute walk. Parking spaces are rather scarce and very crowded in front of the restaurant.

We went out for dinner today as a couple and ordered two appetizers and two main courses. One of the main courses was mistakenly served before the appetizers. After we asked for the order we had originally ordered, the appetizer arrived and was of very good quality. However, the main course that had already been served was then brought to us again, this time cold. It sat on the counter by the cash register for over 30 minutes. When we pointed out that the food was cold, we were told that we had requested it that way. After a far too long discussion, the manager was consulted. He offered to recook the main course, but told us to expect a long wait, as other guests had priority. We were also repeatedly told that they would now have to throw away the cold food – because of us. Therefore, we decided to pay for the appetizers and drinks and leave. Food was good, but the service was completely unprofessional in handling the mistake.

I'm incredibly disappointed. I wanted to celebrate my birthday with a great meal, but unfortunately, it was a complete disaster. I ordered the gourmet platter, and according to the menu, it should have included pork, but it didn't. Instead, it had four turkey steaks. One beef steak was cooked medium, but mine was bloody. The spare ribs were overcooked and tasteless. The dips were watery, and the ketchup was so runny with the fries that you had to be careful not to spill it on yourself. The food was a complete failure, and I definitely won't be going there again. The platter cost €62 and, apart from a few minor things, was a total flop. The service was very friendly, and the ambiance was nice, but that's about it. It's a shame; Treibhaus used to have a good reputation, but it's gone downhill fast. What a pity.

We went there for brunch with eight people. The ambiance is quite nice, but unfortunately extremely loud and therefore chaotic, making conversation at the table difficult. The food selection was mediocre, and the meat, for example, was dry and cold. Also, dishes were frequently empty and then only replenished after a considerable time, or not at all (because, for example, they ran out of minced pork). The service, very enthusiastic at the beginning, deteriorated significantly towards the end, so that by the end, it wasn't possible to order drinks for twenty minutes. Well, we just gave up then, but I would have liked to have a nice beer.

I ate here again after years. The interior has undergone a lot of renovations. I really like it. The girls who served us were attentive, friendly, and up for a little joke... very good, keep it up. The eight of us thoroughly enjoyed the food, thanks to the kitchen. We will definitely be back. Finding a parking space was difficult on a Friday at 7:30 p.m. We parked about 500 meters away.

The food was delicious, but the service could have been much friendlier. The service and kitchen definitely need to work together better (no information from the staff). Dessert didn't arrive! I asked after 45 minutes, and even then, it didn't arrive :-( And last but not least! They couldn't cancel the dessert at the register. That's even possible! Unfortunately, it has declined considerably.

We let up at the end! We were warmly welcomed and escorted to our table. The service was very attentive at first, partly because it wasn't busy yet. The restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere. The food was impeccable, from the appetizers to the main course. The meat was cooked medium-rare, the fries were world-class, the food came quickly, and there was plenty on the plate. The sour cream tasted of nothing, and unfortunately, the dessert was a disappointment. The chocolate souflé was a ready-made product, and the pancake had a very disgusting consistency, a far cry from Grandma's pancakes – and the cinnamon cherries lacked cinnamon. Dessert also took a surprisingly long time to arrive, as did the cappuccino. We would still come back!

I visited this restaurant for the first time on the recommendation of my friends, who praised the food highly – and indeed, the food was of very high quality. Unfortunately, the major downside was the service. I ordered a martini, but was brought a different drink. The waitress insisted I had ordered a margarita, even though I clearly said "martini" three times. Her behavior was very rude – she rolled her eyes, refused to admit her mistake, and demanded I pay extra. In my opinion, such behavior towards guests is absolutely unacceptable. I expected nothing more than an apology and a replacement drink, especially since the prices are not cheap. Instead, I was treated disrespectfully. It's a shame, because the food truly deserves praise – but unfortunately, I won't be visiting this restaurant again because of the service.

The food was simply outstanding. It truly tasted wonderful, and the prices were absolutely reasonable. All in all, a truly successful evening that I can highly recommend.

Reserved for a birthday party for 6 adults and 2 children. The table wasn't decorated for the 60th birthday, and a chair was missing. The seats were very awkward, and the food wasn't replenished in a timely manner. The food on offer wasn't great either; we won't be back!

Highly recommended... the name says it all, and the large room is attractively designed. Large groups can also dine there - although advance reservation is especially advisable. We were there for brunch at 10 a.m. on a Sunday morning during the summer holidays, and apart from one very large group, there were only a few smaller groups. For the price of just under €30 per person, they offer a lot, and if you leave hungry, it's your own fault. In addition to the usual items like cold cuts/cheese platters, various rolls, butter, cream cheese, muesli, fruit salad, tomatoes with mozzarella, and scrambled eggs, they also offer pasta with tomato sauce, baked broccoli, meatballs, potato gratin, and—especially delicious—antipasti. Coffee, including decaffeinated coffee, tea, and orange juice are included. It's just a shame that 70% of the bacon wasn't cooked properly. They even offered small croissants for the sweet breakfast. Jam, however, could only be enjoyed from (many different) single-serve packages. For dessert, you could choose between fruit salad, two kinds of jelly, or pudding. The more crowded it got, the more noise there was, of course, and if I imagine that ALL seats are occupied, it could get very loud. The restrooms are fine.

Four of us sat on the terrace adjacent to the greenhouse. The service was fast and friendly. The quality of the food we ordered was good. The restaurant was only half full. There was ample parking. The bill for the four main courses, desserts, and drinks came to €140.

Pleasant and cozy atmosphere, very tasty food, and the staff were generally friendly. We were celebrating our son's birthday and had kindly informed them of this beforehand. Unfortunately, there were no small gifts or gestures for the birthday boy – which was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, we really enjoyed everything, especially the meat – I'd be happy to come back to enjoy it again.

Unfortunately disappointing – not recommended We were really looking forward to visiting this restaurant and even traveled over 70 km for it – unfortunately, completely in vain. The service was unfriendly and unaccommodating from the start. While we were still eating our appetizer, the main course was already served – it felt like we were simply being "scrapped." When one of our group's dishes didn't taste good at all and this was politely pointed out, the chef reacted personally – not with understanding, but with a very unfriendly and almost condescending discussion. Constructive criticism was obviously not welcome. Which apparently didn't interest anyone there. We left the restaurant frustrated and early.

Actually, it was quite well done! The food wasn't well seasoned at all, and it was a shame. It made me want something else. Too much cheese!

There were 13 of us here. The food arrived relatively simultaneously, and the portions were large (though it was a weekday). The prices for the dishes are reasonable, and the portion sizes and selection are appropriate. The atmosphere is lovely, resembling a (former?) greenhouse. Clean restrooms and friendly service. My conclusion: I would definitely come back and highly recommend it.

It's always a great place for a family brunch. Lots of choice, friendly staff, and everything is delicious! Get there early or on a cloudy day, otherwise it'll feel like an oven, so be sure to dress lightly or layer up.

It was very warm there on a warm day in April. Great for tomatoes, but a little too much of a good thing for us.

I've always enjoyed eating in the greenhouse, but I think the cuisine has slacked off a bit. Unfortunately, the upholstered furniture is also pretty run down. But the service is first class; There's nothing to complain about, always polite and in a good mood, no matter how stressful it is.

Ate spare ribs today and ordered fried potatoes instead of fries. The ribs were very tasty. The fried potatoes were very good and recommended.

Went there for the first time today. First impression was positive. At least as far as the facility was concerned. Very beautiful and appealing. The store was busy, but it was also very loud and very drafty. Service was friendly but also quite busy. Meal (4x main course) took over 1 hour. When asked why it took so long, they said only four people could work in the kitchen. Then all I can say is make the menu smaller or let in a few fewer guests. The food itself was solid and the prices were appropriate for the quality. However, the pasta dishes were really clear, the grill plate was okay but nothing more. The dessert (apple strudel) was great and a huge portion for 7.50. All in all it was a grade 3 for us.

The greenhouse is definitely recommended. Very nice staff, courteous and attentive. Delicious cocktails and very tasty food. Large portions. Brunch is also highly recommended. The only negative point is the noise when it is very crowded.

The greenhouse is a wonderful place. The owners and employees are very familiar, polite and solution-oriented. In addition to the ambience, the people make this place so special. You just feel good. Before the renovation it was a bit old, but there were so many plants, it was like a jungle. It would be nice if a little more of the original greenhouse returned.

Now I had to be old enough to write my first bad review. We went for brunch this morning and it was more like a car accident that you couldn't look away from. I still can't believe how something can be so expensive and of such poor quality. I really think any motorway service station could have done a better job. The warm food was almost exclusively ready-made and was warmed rather than really freshly cooked. I would honestly say none of it was freshly cooked. The taste of the scrambled eggs was not edible and was also overcooked (see photo) - pudding from the bag... The rolls were sticky - I don't know where to stop or end... ready-made cheese in slices.. I have rarely eaten so badly for €30 per person. Here, quantity takes precedence over quality. It couldn't be more loving

We were there for brunch. A pure disaster. The food is inedible, even in the hospital and on the plane I get better food. The rolls are sticky, the “scrambled eggs” from the package are not even warm. I don't even need to tell you about the rest of the meal. We paid €95 for the brunch buffet for three people and it didn't even include a cappuccino. I am extremely disappointed. Plus, it's so loud there that you can't have a conversation at all. A pure background noise - no trace of a cozy brunch. Definitely not recommended and a waste of money.

I have known the greenhouse for 25 years. The greenhouse ambience and the food have developed very well over time. The food was good to very good. The atmosphere is very inviting and not crowded. There is also parking in front of the door.

Was there for the first time and probably won't come back... The portion of the grill plate with 3 different types of meat was a joke... I went home hungry again. The woman's steak was still raw, even though it should have been medium rare. When the waitress had cleared away from us, we pointed it out to her and showed her the meat. She argued that we could have let us know and then they would have put it on the grill again, well, but if there wasn't a waiter in sight or asked us if everything was okay... then it's also hard to let us know. The ambience is very nicely done. But it still didn't blow me away that I would come back.

We were very disappointed with our meal. There were 6 people there and only one of us was satisfied. The Herrenstaek was not medium but raw. And completely tasteless. The pork tenderloin was fried to death. I've never eaten such a dry fillet anywhere. No trace of juiciness. That's what the prices are for. You won't see us there anymore.

The food is a total disaster either the meat is fried to death or it is still twitching. The baked potato is a better jacket potato with quark. If you complain to the waitress you will be ignored for the rest of the evening and have to wait for the next order.

We were registered for brunch with a large group in December. I called employees three times to make reservations and confirmed the number of participants twice. On the website the brunch was advertised as €29.90 per person, but in the end they suddenly wanted to charge €34.90 per person because it was Advent brunch. Unfortunately, there was no mention of this anywhere, nor were we informed about it when we came in. In the end we were able to reach a compromise in a conversation with the boss. What we found particularly problematic was the justification that an Advent Sunday would be a public holiday and the staff would therefore be more expensive. The staff denied the better pay to us and we all know that it is not a public holiday. That doesn't work at all! In addition, the buffet selection was rather poor for both price levels. 2 types of cold cuts, 2 types of cheese plus cream cheese, some salmon and roast beef plus a bit of pudding / muesli and warm dishes, too much money... the croissants were all gone before all the guests could choose something, dark rolls were also all quickly gone. Smaller rolls would be more advantageous, then you can eat more different types. In any case, none of these 15 ladies will come to brunch again.

Service only gets an A because the restaurant - in its own words - has not been able to receive reservations via the website since January 15, 2025. You make a reservation - thinking you have a table - and are deeply disappointed (luckily I asked again by phone). At the very least, this is NEGLECTIVE on the part of the management of the place!

Today we were here for brunch, the service staff are very friendly and accommodating, tasty and rich food all around. Parking spaces are a bit tight, but that can't be changed. You can easily park your car in the surrounding area. I liked it.

A special ambience with a feel-good factor. The staff is very courteous and attentive. The food is okay. After speaking to the staff about my intolerance, a menu was put together for me. Gluten-free dishes are therefore absolutely possible and feasible here. We have always been here with a reservation and that was a good thing. Lastly: A big congratulations to the staff for the Christmas holidays 2024. The store was very busy but everything ran smoothly. There was no trace of stress, there was really a sense of relaxation and a nice atmosphere in the house. Thanks for the evening.

Good restaurant for family events. Good service, helpful staff

Wir waren am 26.12.2024 in Treibhaus essen. Die Weihnachtskarte war nicht gut gemacht. Nicht mal Vegetarisch dabei. Das Fleisch war trocken, konnte man nicht essen. Ich hatte einen Kaffee nach den Essen, der war so schlecht, der war mindestens 4 Stunden alt. Habe ich zurück gegeben und musste trotzdem 4€ bezahlen. Das war das letzte mal für mich.

Unfortunately, our Christmas dinner with the family on December 26th was a disappointment. Although we normally enjoy eating there, this experience disappointed us. The special Christmas menu offered around 8-10 dishes, almost all of which were served with baked potatoes - a not very varied selection. No dish was vegetarian, and the meat (beef, pork, turkey) was consistently dry. Only the duck was OK. Even the ribs were dry, which was particularly disappointing. A family member, who is a chef, was convinced that some of the dishes - including red cabbage, steaks and potatoes - were warmed up. We also noticed that identical dishes on the regular menu were offered €2-3 cheaper. The prices on the Christmas menu, at €23.50 to €30 per dish, were clearly too high for the quality offered. A dry turkey steak with some vegetables, a small piece of baguette and baked potatoes for €23.50 was definitely not appropriate. We were all really looking forward to the meal, but in the end everyone was disappointed. Especially at Christmas, when families get together, a restaurant should place particular emphasis on quality. One thing is certain for us: we won't eat there again at Christmas.

The Advent brunch is highly recommended. If you don't get enough here, you're doing something wrong.

The food was super good, service was great. Unfortunately, our table was so awkwardly placed that every time new guests came we felt cold, which was really uncomfortable. The restaurant was also very full and I had to communicate quite loudly because I sometimes felt like I was in a train station.

Great place. Food was very good, prices reasonable, clean and tidy. Friendly staff etc. Only the climate gave me a bit of difficulty, the name lived up to it. It was simply too warm inside for me. Appropriate clothing would have been shorts and a T-shirt. The vegetarian cuisine could be expanded, but these dishes are a bit neglected here. Today's visit (09.11.24) underlines everything written so far. It definitely remains a recommendation.

The Treibhaus is still one of my favorite restaurants because the memories of beautiful family celebrations and celebrations accompany every visit. Unfortunately, the last meal was disappointing. The medium rare men's steak we ordered was served very fatty and almost well done. I reported this to the waitress, who immediately recognized the overcooked steak and took the meat to the kitchen on a separate plate. I waited about 10 minutes for the medium rare steak I ordered with my side dishes, which had unfortunately cooled down in the meantime, and ultimately received the blue version. I have rarely eaten such bad meat, both in terms of cooking and quality. I will definitely never order this dish here again. Another dish served at the table was also overcooked. The turkey strips were so dry that our companion had barely touched them.

My girlfriend and I are always satisfied 😊
