Das LoLo in Kehl

We celebrated our wedding at Lolo in Kehl last Saturday – and it was simply a wonderful day! The venue is very charming, with a great ambiance and flair, just right for a cozy celebration on a small to medium scale. There were about 50 of us, and we never felt like we were intruding on each other's toes – it was pleasantly relaxed and casual. We had a good feeling from the very beginning. Even during the planning phase, the owner's warm demeanor reassured us with her warm manner. On the wedding day itself, the entire team was first-class: very attentive, consistently friendly, and always there when we needed them. The food was a real highlight – especially the grill buffet. Every piece of meat was perfectly prepared, the side dishes and salads harmonious and varied. A big compliment to the grill master: It's impressive to serve so many guests at the same time with such quality. The breakfast the next morning was also lovingly prepared and perfectly rounded off the beautiful day. We are very happy that we chose Lolo – and have never regretted our decision. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team: We had an unforgettable celebration and can wholeheartedly recommend the location!

I've been to LoLo several times for breakfast, and I have to say it's one of the nicest places in the area, with incredibly delicious food. I particularly like the playground and the small indoor play area for kids, so the adults can enjoy the day in peace while the kids have fun. The service is also particularly noteworthy... You're always greeted with a smile and such a positive vibe that every guest feels at ease. LoLo has become one of our favorite locations ♥️ We'd love to come back.

The client has been delivered for more than 3 years, plus the two of them for the first time, and they also have a supplement for 2 French fries 🥔. Encore plus incroyable: the fallu réclamer car on nous avait me compté un verre d’eau du robinet 💧🚰. C'est totally unacceptable and irrespectueux envers une clientèle régulière. A vrai scandale 😡😡😡😡Loyal regular customers for over 3 years, several times a week, we are shocked that we were charged an extra charge for just 2 potatoes 🥔. Even more unbelievable: We had to complain because we were even charged for a glass of tap water 💧🚰. This is completely unacceptable and disrespectful to a long-standing customer. A true scandal 😡😡😡😡

The breakfast was overall fine. The ingredients were of good quality and tasty. Unfortunately, pretzels were already out by 9:30. Croissants were apparently not available at all, which we found a shame. The waitress was very busy and seemed to be solely responsible for all the guests. Therefore, although she was friendly, she was also very hectic. As a result, we found the atmosphere very uncomfortable.

The food was okay. The kids can play nearby, there's a large playground.

We were fortunate enough to celebrate our wedding at Lolo. From the first contact to the end, everything went smoothly, and even spontaneous changes shortly before and during the ceremony were implemented without any problems. The service during the ceremony was also excellent. However, the food on this special day deserves special mention. The food received so much praise from all the guests, and as a bride and groom, we are naturally incredibly pleased. We would be happy to come back anytime for celebrations or to dine out.

I celebrated my birthday at Lolo this weekend and we had breakfast there – it was simply a complete success! The reservation was completely straightforward via email, and even last-minute changes to the number of people were no problem – the team was very flexible and accommodating. We were a large group of about 25 people. We were originally supposed to sit inside, but because of the heat, they set the table outside for us – a very attentive and friendly gesture! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, there was enough for everyone, and they even packed up the leftovers for us – great service! We were allowed to stay for a long time and were treated very warmly throughout our stay. Many thanks to the entire team – I can absolutely recommend Lolo and would gladly come back!

Super nice, pleasant place. An outdoor and indoor dining area. The kids have a place to play. The salads (especially the one with falafel) are delicious. The burgers are generous. Try the cocktails (my favorite is the one with lemon and mint). We went there regularly and were never disappointed. The welcome and service were very friendly. Try the breakfast buffets for 15 euros and the barbecues. Go for it.

We waited half an hour for the food. It tasted good, though. We discovered it through the gourmet section. We could imagine more visits in the future. Clean impression.

Dish: Avocado Bread with Poached Egg (€14) Unfortunately, this dish was a disappointment: The poached eggs were barely cooked – "kissed by water" is a good description, but not in a good way. The egg was almost raw, which isn't up to the standard for poached eggs. The avocado cream was bland in flavor – it lacked any of the seasoning or freshness you'd expect from a good guacamole or avocado cream. The salmon tasted noticeably fishy and was obviously close to being perishable. The slice of bread was dry, not fresh, or of poor quality. The salad bouquet was small and unspectacular. Overall, the price of €14 bears no relation to the quality of the food. Two eggs, a slice of bread, some avocado cream, a small piece of salmon, and a bit of salad – that may sound appealing on the menu, but it's disappointing in both taste and quality.

On the wedding day itself, the entire team was very attentive, the service ran smoothly and left nothing to be desired. The food and drinks were delicious, and our guests were thrilled. The venue itself is so beautiful and unique, which allowed us to enjoy an absolutely successful celebration. We can wholeheartedly recommend celebrating at LoLo to everyone.

We went for breakfast with a medium-sized group of three children. It was wonderfully relaxed. The atmosphere is great, with a lovely outdoor area. A lovely playground on the grounds, right next to the tables. A gate prevents the children from leaving accidentally. The service was excellent, proactive, and very friendly. And of course, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful (not a buffet). We'd be happy to return 😊

A dream! We were able to celebrate our wedding at LoLo on May 2nd, 2025. The food and reception were simply wonderful. The entire team has made a great effort to ensure that everyone is happy and everyone gets what they need. The outdoor area was amazing for the kids. The adults could sit comfortably outside while the kids played. Everything was so super uncomplicated and just beautiful. We would celebrate a party here again at any time and recommend LoLo to everyone. Many thanks to the team.

If you want to have a relaxed meal out with kids and a dog, I heartily recommend Lolo's. Everyone gets their money's worth here. We love having a hearty breakfast here. There is a beautiful, shady playground on site (fenced!), which you can also see from your seat. A little tip: afterwards go for a walk on the nearby Rhine promenade. One star deducted for the food because the fruit didn't consistently impress me personally. And the coffee also has room for improvement in terms of taste. However, this is not meant as a complaint, but rather as a recommendation for optimization.

The food was really delicious and the portions were completely sufficient. We had a great, balanced breakfast and the selection was really great. The service staff was friendly and attentive. The whole atmosphere is very friendly, calm and relaxing. We'd love to come back!

We were there with a group of 7 people. The food is mediocre, the sauerbraten was tough, the sauce was stingy in all dishes so the food was very dry and we had to order more sauce. Fries and spaetzle don't seem homemade, which is a shame given the price of €20 for the sauerbraten. The cherry cake for dessert was boring and tasted like cardboard. The restaurant is a former church into which a lot of tables were squeezed. It's very reverberant and loud, making it difficult to hold a conversation.

The staff is super friendly! There are even gluten-free bread and gluten-free nut wedges that are both suitable for celiac disease - that's really rare and a big plus. The location is also really nice – I would absolutely recommend it to everyone!

Today we were at an event called the crime thriller dinner at Lolo 🫶🏻. What I can say is that it is definitely an experience, it was a magical evening with nice conversations and delicious food, something for every taste❤️. The ambience offers an absolute feel-good atmosphere in a former church. With high ceilings and beautiful furnishings it is magically beautiful and definitely worth a visit. The staff is always super friendly and really nice. They respond to your wishes individually and always have an eye on everything 👀. Also a great gift idea for young and old, the crime thriller dinner will take place again at Lolo on March 7th, so be quick before it is fully booked ✨.

Feel-good place! Delicious food, first-class service and a great ambience – I always enjoy coming here. Be it as a wedding photographer looking for special perspectives, or simply as a guest to enjoy. My personal classic is the Lola Bowl, but I can also recommend the cake counter!

We often go to this great café in a lovely atmosphere. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The best thing, however, is the food. Above all, the really delicious cakes that taste just like grandma's at home. You can definitely taste the handwork here.

We celebrated my daughter's 2nd birthday, we were a large group with a lot of children (so not an easy group) and we were pampered. At no time did we feel that we were in the way with our children wandering between the tables. The welcome, the service, the delivery was really great. We ordered 2 cakes which were delicious and HUGE!! We had breakfast and lunch there, the dishes were good and generous. The children were able to enjoy the outdoor play area as well as the indoor play area, it was great. I really recommend this place which is beautiful, warm and where the food is very good. We will return there for sure

We celebrated our wedding at this great location and are totally satisfied! A tip from our maid of honor brought us here. We have come here several times for breakfast. We were immediately impressed by the vegan scrambled tofu. When we found out that you could also celebrate here, we immediately thought that would suit us! The converted nave in which our celebration took place has a modern yet cozy flair. We were immediately amazed by the atmosphere. First, the reception took place outside, which is particularly ideal for children as it is fenced in and has a small playground where the children could let off steam to their hearts' content. Some of our guests made themselves comfortable on the cozy seating under one of the trees, while others enjoyed cool drinks under the parasols. The staff was just great the entire time! Always friendly and helpful, they made sure our party was unforgettable. Our guests also tell us to this day how great they found the team. Another highlight was our completely vegan menu, which was simply outstanding. It was also well received by our non-vegan guests! Kudos to the kitchen! Overall, we can only recommend this location - it offers everything you need for a cozy, beautiful wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better place for our special day! We had lunch at Lolo on Sunday. It was very full, but the boss herself politely tried to find a seat. The food came very quickly and was very tasty, as was the coffee and cake afterwards. Very nice staff. We would love to come back.

We were able to decorate the location the day before in a relaxed and calm manner and had a lot of freedom in terms of the decoration. The food was absolutely delicious, we were given very good advice in advance and supported in our decision. We chose a drinks flat rate which was perfect for us and very uncomplicated. The staff ran a lot all evening and they served us great. Our guests were all thrilled. The next day, all of the personal belongings that we had left there overnight were put away and that made things very easy for us. We can highly recommend a celebration at Lolo. Many thanks to Elena and her team, it was the perfect decision to celebrate our wedding at Lolo. 🥰✨

The LoLo in Kehl is definitely worth a visit. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, which is ideal for both a relaxed meal and a meeting with friends. The menu offers a good selection of fresh and creatively prepared dishes that taste impressive. What struck me particularly positively was the quality of the ingredients and the appealing presentation of the dishes. The service was consistently friendly and attentive without being intrusive. You can tell that attention is paid to details in order to offer guests an all-round successful stay. The price-performance ratio is also very fair. I will definitely come back and can only recommend LoLo.

We celebrated our golden wedding anniversary at LoLo. The detailed preparations with Elena and the chef went smoothly and could be modified at any time according to our ideas. In bright sunshine we enjoyed a great cake and drinks buffet on the terrace with our 65 guests. The numerous children had fun in the fenced playground. The extremely friendly, committed and always attentive staff fulfilled the guests' every possible wish until late in the evening. All of our guests and the dedicated musicians gave a very positive response. Everyone praised the typical Baden evening menu with “Ochsenbäckle” in the festively decorated large hall. An all-round successful celebration in a wonderful ambience with unique service. We would also like to visit LoLo as a couple until the next festival.

Wir feierten im LoLo unsere Goldene Hochzeit. Bereits die detaillierten Vorbereitungen mit Elena und dem Koch liefen reibungslos und konnten nach unseren Ideen jederzeit modifiziert werden. Bei strahlendem Sonnenschein genossen wir mit unseren 65 Gästen ein großartiges Kuchen- und Getränkebuffet auf der Terrasse. Die zahlreichen Kinder vergnügten sich auf dem umzäunten Spielplatz. Die überaus freundlichen, engagierten und stets zugewandten Mitarbeiterinnen erfüllten den Gästen bis in den späten Abend jeden möglichen Wunsch. Alle unsere Gäste sowie die engagierten Musiker gaben eine sehr positive Resonanz. Alle lobten das typisch badische Abendmenü mit "Ochsenbäckle" im festlich eingedeckten großen Saal. Ein rundum gelungenes Fest in wunderbarem Ambiente mit einmaligem Service. Bis zu einem nächsten Fest besuchen wir das LoLo auch gern zu zweit.

Although the team didn't have much experience with weddings and we were one of the first celebrations there, you didn't notice it. Everything went smoothly and without incident. The service was first class and the food was simply outstanding. We also received exclusively positive feedback from our 80 guests. Communication during planning was always harmonious and uncomplicated. The location offers numerous possibilities and is very versatile. Starting with coffee and cake outdoors and continuing with the main celebration indoors, we had a lot of freedom for our ideas. It was the perfect choice for our 80 guests. We did everything right with our choice and would like to thank the team very much!

A very big thank you also to Elena, who allowed us to organize our day individually. Since it was a Russian wedding, we were able to bring in our own ideas. It just felt like a family because our wishes were completely taken into account. We would recommend this location at any time! It should also be mentioned here that the location has a lot of space available, the children could run around outside in the closed playground and the parents could simply relax. For the night we booked the tower room, which is located exactly in the building, simply practical🫶🏻 The hungover pickup the next day was great, everything was packed in boxes and ready for us so we didn't have to clean up the next day. We stopped at LoLo for breakfast on the way to Strasbourg and really enjoyed it. The breakfast was very varied, tasty and also cheap. The staff is also very nice and accommodating, a clear recommendation!

An atmospheric event location that uses the former Martin Luther Church and the former church garden. A successful idea. We were a group of 25 people who occupied the garden tables in beautiful summer weather. Attentive friendly service. Delicious food. Rump steak with herb butter is recommended. Reasonable prices.

We were at Lolo last week. At a restaurant that was originally advertised as vegan-vegetarian, we were hoping for a vegan cake. There wasn't right now, which was fine. As an alternative there was at least one cookie. It tasted pretty good too, but I only got half of the cookie because it broke apart. The other half remained in the cookie jar. Since there isn't much to the cookie anyway for the price, I asked the waitress. She talked her way out of the fact that the cookies were just different sizes. I showed her the edge, whereupon she said she could give me an extra cookie if I wanted a larger one, which she did. I tried to explain to her that it wasn't about the size, but she clearly had no interest in understanding me and I felt really stupid... As we were leaving, we noticed her talking to someone else Customer said how tiring we were. That's really not possible! So we are very disappointed with the service. We didn't feel comfortable.

I've been there 4 times - 2 times for breakfast, 2 times for dinner and it's hard to write negative things because it's a great location and the service staff is very welcoming! Food - both breakfast and the burgers in the evening are unfortunately not my cup of tea. In terms of price, the breakfast did not correspond to the quantity and taste that one might expect for it. It's a shame - but I would come back at any time.
