We've already been to Lolo for breakfast, lunch, and dinner – and each time we've been absolutely delighted. The ambiance is truly special, as the restaurant is housed in a former Protestant church. This unique atmosphere makes every visit an experience. The culinary offerings at Lolo are a complete success: from breakfast to lunch to the cordon bleu, everything was outstanding. The cakes and pastries are divine. The regional products and the carefully selected, small but exquisite dishes reflect the high quality. Vegetarians will also find truly delicious, lovingly prepared options. The service staff is attentive, friendly, and noticeably contributes to the welcoming atmosphere. We came on a recommendation and already knew Sarah from her previous restaurant – we're so happy to see how much she's enriching the Lolo team. We will definitely be back!

The owner is incredibly friendly, and the entire staff is very attentive. A special thank you goes to Sarah, who took particularly warm and attentive care of us. A converted church now serves as a café for everyone. The stained-glass windows are a reminder of the building's original purpose. There are three dining areas: a small one right at the entrance, a larger room, and a slightly smaller one on the first floor. The restroom is in the basement, but there is an accessible restroom on the ground floor. I was there for breakfast, which was delicious and prepared with fresh ingredients. Reservations are recommended on weekends. Parking is available. I would gladly return.

I was there only for the second time today, but I'd like to go more often. (Unfortunately, I live too far away.) I had a delicious breakfast (a bit of everything) and it was super tasty. A hearty breakfast with good products. I really enjoyed it. The price is a bit higher, but it's okay for what you get. The team is super friendly and attentive. The location is simply special, and when the sun shines through the colorful windows, it's wonderful. When it's busy, it gets stressful, which you can sometimes feel from the team, but that's normal. Maybe there are just more staff on those days. We were actually there for several hours, which I think says it all.

We celebrated our daughter's baptism at Lolo in August. It was a very successful and stress-free day for us. The location, in particular, from the outside at the old altar where we enjoyed our aperitifs to the dinner in the old nave, was a perfect fit for our daughter's big day. Lolo is a beautiful and lovingly decorated café, definitely the best in the region. As soon as you enter the front door, you forget the rather oppressive atmosphere in Kehl. The iced coffee with a slice of cake in summer, as well as a delicious salad at lunch, are excellent and we highly recommend it. We have been visiting Lolo for three years now and are consistently delighted and very satisfied.

It's really nice that LoLo is in Sundheim. Whether it's breakfast, coffee & cake, or lunch – it's very creative and delicious. The staff is friendly. The small playground is perfect for kids. Highly recommended.

We celebrated our wedding at Lolo in Kehl last Saturday – and it was simply a wonderful day! The venue is very charming, with a great ambiance and flair, just right for a cozy celebration on a small to medium scale. There were about 50 of us, and we never felt like we were intruding on each other's toes – it was pleasantly relaxed and casual. We had a good feeling from the very beginning. Even during the planning phase, the owner's warm demeanor reassured us with her warm manner. On the wedding day itself, the entire team was first-class: very attentive, consistently friendly, and always there when we needed them. The food was a real highlight – especially the grill buffet. Every piece of meat was perfectly prepared, the side dishes and salads harmonious and varied. A big compliment to the grill master: It's impressive to serve so many guests at the same time with such quality. The breakfast the next morning was also lovingly prepared and perfectly rounded off the beautiful day. We are very happy that we chose Lolo – and have never regretted our decision. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team: We had an unforgettable celebration and can wholeheartedly recommend the location!

I've been to LoLo several times for breakfast, and I have to say it's one of the nicest places in the area, with incredibly delicious food. I particularly like the playground and the small indoor play area for kids, so the adults can enjoy the day in peace while the kids have fun. The service is also particularly noteworthy... You're always greeted with a smile and such a positive vibe that every guest feels at ease. LoLo has become one of our favorite locations ♥️ We'd love to come back.

The breakfast was overall fine. The ingredients were of good quality and tasty. Unfortunately, pretzels were already out by 9:30. Croissants were apparently not available at all, which we found a shame. The waitress was very busy and seemed to be solely responsible for all the guests. Therefore, although she was friendly, she was also very hectic. As a result, we found the atmosphere very uncomfortable.

The client has been delivered for more than 3 years, plus the two of them for the first time, and they also have a supplement for 2 French fries 🥔. A vrai scandale 😡😡😡😡Loyal regular customers for over 3 years, several times a week, we are shocked that we were charged an extra charge for just 2 potatoes 🥔. Even more unbelievable: We had to complain because we were even charged for a glass of tap water 💧🚰. This is completely unacceptable and disrespectful to a long-standing customer. A true scandal 😡😡😡😡

We were fortunate enough to celebrate our wedding at Lolo. From the first contact to the end, everything went smoothly, and even spontaneous changes shortly before and during the ceremony were implemented without any problems. The service during the ceremony was also excellent. However, the food on this special day deserves special mention. The food received so much praise from all the guests, and as a bride and groom, we are naturally incredibly pleased. We would be happy to come back anytime for celebrations or to dine out.

Try the cocktails (my favorite is the one with lemon and mint). We went there regularly and were never disappointed. The welcome and service were very friendly. Try the breakfast buffets for 15 euros and the barbecues. Go for it.

The reservation was completely straightforward via email, and even last-minute changes to the number of people were no problem – the team was very flexible and accommodating. We were a large group of about 25 people. We were originally supposed to sit inside, but because of the heat, they set the table outside for us – a very attentive and friendly gesture! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, there was enough for everyone, and they even packed up the leftovers for us – great service! We were allowed to stay for a long time and were treated very warmly throughout our stay. Many thanks to the entire team – I can absolutely recommend Lolo and would gladly come back!

Dish: Avocado Bread with Poached Egg (€14) Unfortunately, this dish was a disappointment: The poached eggs were barely cooked – "kissed by water" is a good description, but not in a good way. The egg was almost raw, which isn't up to the standard for poached eggs. The avocado cream was bland in flavor – it lacked any of the seasoning or freshness you'd expect from a good guacamole or avocado cream. The salmon tasted noticeably fishy and was obviously close to being perishable. The slice of bread was dry, not fresh, or of poor quality. The salad bouquet was small and unspectacular. Overall, the price of €14 bears no relation to the quality of the food. Two eggs, a slice of bread, some avocado cream, a small piece of salmon, and a bit of salad – that may sound appealing on the menu, but it's disappointing in both taste and quality.

We waited half an hour for the food. It tasted good, though. We discovered it through the gourmet section. We could imagine more visits in the future. Clean impression.

A dream! We were able to celebrate our wedding at LoLo on May 2nd, 2025. The food and reception were simply wonderful. The entire team has made a great effort to ensure that everyone is happy and everyone gets what they need. The outdoor area was amazing for the kids. The adults could sit comfortably outside while the kids played. Everything was so super uncomplicated and just beautiful. If you want to have a relaxed meal out with kids and a dog, I heartily recommend Lolo's. Everyone gets their money's worth here. We love having a hearty breakfast here. There is a beautiful, shady playground on site (fenced!), which you can also see from your seat. A little tip: afterwards go for a walk on the nearby Rhine promenade. One star deducted for the food because the fruit didn't consistently impress me personally. And the coffee also has room for improvement in terms of taste. However, this is not meant as a complaint, but rather as a recommendation for optimization.

We were there with a group of 7 people. The food is mediocre, the sauerbraten was tough, the sauce was stingy in all dishes so the food was very dry and we had to order more sauce. Fries and spaetzle don't seem homemade, which is a shame given the price of €20 for the sauerbraten. The cherry cake for dessert was boring and tasted like cardboard. The restaurant is a former church into which a lot of tables were squeezed. It's very reverberant and loud, making it difficult to hold a conversation.

Today we were at an event called the crime thriller dinner at Lolo 🫶🏻. What I can say is that it is definitely an experience, it was a magical evening with nice conversations and delicious food, something for every taste❤️. The ambience offers an absolute feel-good atmosphere in a former church. With high ceilings and beautiful furnishings it is magically beautiful and definitely worth a visit. The staff is always super friendly and really nice. They respond to your wishes individually and always have an eye on everything 👀. Also a great gift idea for young and old, the crime thriller dinner will take place again at Lolo on March 7th, so be quick before it is fully booked ✨.
