Wir hatten zum zweiten Mal reserviert. Das Essen war gut, wir kamen sieben Minuten zu spät und es wurde sich entschuldigt (er wiederholte die Entschuldigung sogar noch einmal, als wir den Tisch verlassen mussten – ja, Sie haben richtig gelesen). Die Speisekarte kam erst nach zehn Minuten, und wir mussten noch länger auf die Getränke warten. Das Essen war lecker. Dann bestellten wir Apfelstrudel, der aber nicht kam. Wir warteten mindestens 20 Minuten darauf. Um 18:55 Uhr bestellten wir ein weiteres Glas Wein. Ein älterer Herr stand mit seinem Portemonnaie in der Hand da. Wir mussten bezahlen und den Tisch räumen. Natürlich gab es eine Diskussion, weil er das am Telefon gesagt hatte, und er blieb bei seiner Version. Es war kein angenehmes Gespräch, und ich drücke mich noch milde aus. Ich spreche gut Deutsch, habe keine Hörprobleme und bin nicht dumm. Erstens habe ich sowieso keinen Wein mehr bestellt. Mir gefiel der Tonfall überhaupt nicht. Dann bekam ich die Speisekarte für unter 100 Euro – keine Kartenzahlung möglich. Ja, ich habe in Deutschland immer Bargeld dabei. Also trank ich den Wein an der Bar aus und ging. Das geht gar nicht. So etwas macht man nicht. Wie man mit Kunden umgeht, Geld verdient und dann geht – so hat es sich leider für uns angefühlt.

Einfach lecker, günstig und Salatbüffet

Wir waren Dienstags mit 5 Personen dort. Nicht zu voll, freundliches und aufmerksames Personal und vom Chef persönlich bedient. Das Essen, wir hatten alle etwas anderes bestellt, kam schnell und war super lecker. Die kurze Zeit bis zum Hauptgericht haben wir mit einem schönen Salat vom Salatbuffet überbrückt. Das ganze zu wirklich fairen Preisen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Eine absolut furchtbare Erfahrung! Leute, haltet euch bloß von diesem Laden fern, vor allem von den Angestellten und den Besitzern! Die sind extrem laut und sollten keinen Cent mehr verdienen. Und fangt bloß nicht mit dem Essen an! Sie nennen sich ein „Steakhaus“, aber ich würde das Zeug nicht mal meinem Hund geben. Die Betreiber sollten mit ihrer mürrischen Art und ihrer verbalen Aggressivität echt mal kündigen.

Wow – was für ein genialer Besuch im „kleinen“ Steakhouse! 😍 Schon beim Eintreten merkt man: Das hier ist kein 08/15-Restaurant, sondern ein echter Geheimtipp im Herzen von Heinsberg. Die Steaks sind zart, saftig und perfekt gegrillt, genau so, wie man es sich wünscht – und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut. Das Team ist freundlich, aufmerksam und mit echter Leidenschaft bei der Sache – das macht den Abend gleich noch schöner. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt, gemütlich und ideal für ein Dinner mit Freunden, Partner oder einfach für alle, die gutes Essen lieben. Fazit: tolles Essen, top Service und ein Erlebnis, das man so schnell nicht vergisst. Absolute Empfehlung!

Das Essen war super, die Steaks genauso so lecker wie erhofft, die Kellnerin sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, da ich viele Allergien und Unverträglichkeiten habe gab sie geduldig Auskunft über verarbeitet Zutaten. Dankeschön dafür 😊 Für uns steht fest, da ich das Essen sehr gut vertragen habe, werden wir jetzt häufiger dort einkehren.

Köstliches Essen, erstklassige Atmosphäre und ein tolles Erlebnis!

Mein Schnitzel war unglaublich trocken. Dass es eine Salatbar gab, wurde nirgends erwähnt, wir entdeckten sie aber erst später. Am ärgerlichsten war jedoch, dass der „Manager“ beim Kartenzahlen völlig ausrastete und uns fast anbrüllte: „Kleine Speisekarte, kleine Speisekarte, viermal!“, und dann wütend davonstürmte. Als wir bar bezahlen wollten und niemand kam, gingen wir zur Bar. Dort warteten wir mindestens weitere zehn Minuten. Schließlich gab ich einem Kellner das Geld. Was für eine Frechheit! Ich werde hier nie wieder essen und rate jedem dringend davon ab, dieses Restaurant zu besuchen.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen war ziemlich stark gewürzt , die Sauce Hollandaise musste man wirklich suchen und die Fritten wurden mehr wie tot fritiert. Ebenfalls alles sehr lieblos angerichtet. Das war mal besser und da ist noch Luft nach oben.

Ich war heute das erste Mal dort. Das Essen war gut, das Personal freundlich und die Lautstärke im Lokal angenehm. Das Einzige, was mich persönlich gestört hat, ist, dass Kartenzahlung erst ab 100 € möglich ist. Wir haben 2026 – in was für einem Restaurant kann man erst ab 100 € mit Karte bezahlen? Bei meinem Dönerladen des Vertrauens kann ich sogar eine Pizza problemlos mit Karte bezahlen.

Das Essen war gut – leider war das auch das einzig Positive an diesem Abend. Wir waren zu dritt dort, Rechnung 76,10 €. Beim Bezahlen wollte ich mit Karte zahlen, worauf mir die Kellnerin pampig erklärte, Kartenzahlung gehe erst ab 100 €. Ein Hinweis? Fehlanzeige. Die Tür war offen, nichts gesehen, und beim Bestellen kein Wort darüber. Als ich sagte, dass wir kein Bargeld dabeihaben, wurde uns die Rechnung auf den Tisch geknallt mit dem Kommentar: „Ist mir egal, da vorne ist ein Geldautomat.“ So behandelt man keine Gäste – Punkt. Ich bin es nicht gewohnt, in einem Steakhouse bar zahlen zu müssen wie in einer Pommesbude, und noch weniger, so respektlos abgefertigt zu werden. Das gute Essen wurde durch den Auftritt der Bedienung komplett ruiniert. Wer Wert auf normalen Service und zeitgemäße Zahlungsmöglichkeiten legt, sollte sich dieses Restaurant zweimal überlegen. ❌🍽️

An excellent German steakhouse: top-quality cuts, perfectly grilled, and served in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. A must-visit for meat lovers.

Nice restaurant and attentive service staff. Delicious food at a good price. An extra waiter or two would be nice, but probably not available at the moment. Waiting times can be quite long, although the waiters present are helpful and quick. But there are simply too few of them.

Card payments are only accepted for purchases over €100 – absolutely insane these days! And the steak in the meal deal was cooked well-done! The staff was very friendly, but the owner himself was very unfriendly! Better to eat steak at Altstadttreff!

The only restaurant where we can always rely on first-class, fresh and delicious food as well as great service, often from the owner himself. The boss is incredibly accommodating and generous; we have never experienced such a high level of customer orientation in any restaurant. Special requests when selecting dishes are also no problem. Here you know what you have. It will continue to be our regular restaurant!

2 people had a tough, tasteless piece of meat that was difficult to cut through with a knife. They felt more like they had been given the sole of a shoe. The decoration of the sign was also worse than MC Donald's. What a disappointment. Food was ready very quickly, when we were ready and some were not yet, the plates were taken away again. Less than 30 minutes and you're done... In other words, everyone had little and the price was high. This review is from 3 years ago, but was not allowed to be posted.

The medium-rare steak was great, and the fried potatoes, bacon and fried eggs were delicious.

I've eaten here many times and have always paid with an EC card, which is quite normal these days. Unfortunately, they only offer this option for orders over €100; luckily I had some cash on me. I don't find it particularly customer-friendly, especially when dining with partners for business and normally paying with a company card. It's a shame. Next time, I'll go somewhere else!

Die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und nett. War wohl der Chef. Das Schnitzel sehr lecker. Mein Rinderfilet eine Katastrophe..Fleisch totgebrazen und Soße einfach unmöglich. Da haben die Weintrauben in der Soße auch nichts gerettet. Der Chef hat allerdings alles an unmöglichen noch überboten. Originalton: Wenn Ihnen das nicht schmeckt, habe ich für Sie nichts anderes zu essen. Es würde Ihnen sicher auch nicht schmecken. Wir haben gezahlt und sind gegangen.

We were there today. A table had previously been ordered for 12 p.m., which was then apparently entered for 1 p.m. So far so good. Got a table. The food was ok, but unfortunately not more than that. Service was a bit half-hearted on the way. Which is not ok at all...... no card payment.......or only set at will.......that would be good if the customer was informed of this in advance when making the reservation. It is for them Customers very unpleasant!

Service was good at first but after everyone had their first drink it dropped off a lot. I ordered a fillet steak. According to the menu, everything is served medium unless you specifically request otherwise. Unfortunately, people here don't know what medium is. Unfortunately mine was more English. Some of the fries we ordered were not cooked through. A drink sometimes had to be ordered 3 times before it finally came. At the end of the payment, after you said you wanted to pay with a card, you were literally asked if you hadn't read the notice on the door and menu that you could only pay with a card if you spent 100 euros or more. No, sorry...but you could also point it out in a much friendlier way. All in all...once and never again. ..I feel sorry for the girls who work there though, because they were very friendly.

De goulash soep, kon ermee door, heb ik elders wel eens beter gehad. De grill teller ... Het vlees was goed bereid, maar de gebraden aardappeltjes waren slecht, dreven in het vet en hadden nul "bite". De koude salade was okay, echter niet een uitgebreide keuze. Met de kaart betalen ( onder de €100 ) is niet mogelijk, dus cash!

We like being guests in the "small" steakhouse and would describe the price-performance ratio as good. There is a deduction for the service because card payments are only accepted for orders over €100. In a restaurant where a meal for two people including drinks quickly exceeds the €50 mark, this is no longer up to date. If you consider that even in Heinsberg you can now pay by card at almost every bakery, with significantly lower sales.

Yesterday was another successful, cozy evening! We sat very well and ate delicious food (gambas, steak and fish platter). Great service, good advice and a great boss! Thank you very much😁

Since we have been here several times before, we wanted to have a delicious meal again. Unfortunately that was a letdown today. The pork medallions were well cooked and therefore very dry. There was a lot of fat on the neck steak. The fried potatoes were actually potato slices, half raw and swimming in fat, inedible. That was our last visit.

Fabulous food and service staff were very patient as we were on holiday to stay with our family and do not speak any German very reasonable prices for food and for drinks I would recommend this restaurant to anybody who is visiting Germany especially near dusseldorf great for couples or a family get together will definitely visiting again next time

Hello. We have always enjoyed being here but unfortunately I have to say that it was the last time. Unfortunately the food was no longer what it used to be. Meat was rarely cut. From those sitting next to me, the vegetables were still hard. Service was bad...we had ordered something else so we could have something to eat but nothing came...then we were reminded again and it took a very long time again. After the guests opposite said that we shouldn't complain because it would make us rude, we left it at that. A pity. We always enjoyed being there

The food is completely OK. The service can be better. And the fact that you can only pay by card from 100 euros is totally ridiculous, we'll never come here again.

We were there yesterday for a meeting with colleagues and were simply thrilled!! Food, ambience and service top! Very friendly and accommodating staff! In any case, it wasn't our last visit there!
