Very nice staff and good food in perfect weather in a perfect beer garden.

Unfortunately, two online table reservations were not honored and answered. The rating therefore refers exclusively to this. In my opinion, the service in a restaurant that presents itself as stylish and upscale should start with the table reservation. Anything else probably doesn't live up to the claim you've made yourself.

The hunting lodge has a beautiful beer garden where you can sit away from the hustle and bustle. I ordered a Munich-style schnitzel with fries, which came with absolutely no decoration or salad and still cost a whopping €18. My request for lemon was arrogantly dismissed because that was what it said on the menu. I was told that there were no tropical fruits for ecological reasons and to keep CO2 emissions low. The lemon was invented in the 10th century. brought to Italy after Christ and has always been found in northern Italy. Northern Italy is a logistical lemon's throw away, which is why I don't understand the arguments. Well, maybe it's just a few more decades of climate change and the lemon tree will keep your local (patriotism) refreshing company.

We had cheese spaetzle and schnitzel “Munich style” with potato salad. The cheese spaetzle was good, but could have been a little spicier for our taste. The schnitzel, on the other hand, was super tasty and the potato salad was the best we've ever eaten! Really kudos to the kitchen!! The service was also great. Everything went super quickly and the waitresses were all very friendly and attentive. We sat in the beer garden and were happy with the ambience. The fairy lights were very nice and the fact that the kitchen is outside is a cool gadget. All in all, we were very satisfied and are looking forward to our next visit to the hunting lodge! Thank you for the hospitality.

The hunting lodge is located a bit away from the ever-present tourist hustle and bustle, which makes the associated beer garden a beautiful gem within the center of Oberstdorf. (Due to the ongoing construction site for the new thermal baths, you unfortunately have to live with construction site noises until 2025.) The menu is manageable in a positive sense and offers good quality beer garden food at Oberstdorf prices. On the second visit, the service was also very friendly, quick and also had a few insider tips for shopping - that's how good service works! Recommendation if you want to take a relaxing break while visiting Oberstdorf.

Cozy beer garden with friendly service and delicious food. Only 3 stars because it's a "no go" to comment on incompetent employees (from "boss"/cook) in the beer garden.

Our favorite beer garden in Oberstdorf. Easily accessible by bike, and there are also some car parking options nearby (which is not a given in Oberstdorf). There is nothing comparable in terms of price and quality; restaurant quality is still offered here at reasonable prices. Please please continue like this. You can see in the pictures: The Munich schnitzel (the mustard breading is great) and the Oberstdorf beef patties. Both clear recommendations.

The food was good, but the service was absolutely subpar and very child-unfriendly. We didn't receive a children's menu and although we ordered the children's portion of the cheese spaetzle with 2 plates, we were cheekily charged for the adult portion. The waiter apparently didn't feel like working, and after complimenting the "light draft", he said, "you can drink it"🤣. Conclusion: Never again!!!

We have been looking forward to visiting the hunting lodge on vacation for many years. We appreciate the cuisine on offer, primarily the service and especially the inviting ambience. But what we were served as goulash today was a real disgrace, to put it very moderately. Most of the meat was so sinewy and tough that it was difficult to cut through even with a knife. It was even worse in the mouth when chewing. We left well over half of it. When we complained, the chef told us that we were the first ones who didn't like it. Not a word of apology, just nothing. Yes, what else can you say, there are simply no words... It's a shame, because this house usually deserves a different rating.

The beer garden is definitely a hit when the weather is nice, unfortunately we had rain. The ambience inside lives up to the name. Upscale menu and service.

The 5 stars are absolutely justified. The welcome was warm, the service was extremely attentive and courteous. The starter was very good, but the main course with the venison ragout and the cabbage was excellent. The ragout was cooked to perfection, the vegetables were juicy, and the side dishes were very well seasoned. Another highlight was the ice cream from farmer Roman from Kleinwalsertal. Creamy, aromatic, not too sweet, a truly perfect end to a great evening.

Jagdhaus, Fetzwerk and Maxi are the best restaurants in all of Oberstdorf!!! We've tried all sorts of places and only eat there. Simply GREAT!!!

We wanted to spend our last evening in Oberstdorf in the Jagdhaus after good previous experiences with the Fetz Gastronomy. A pretty bad joke to welcome you - it can happen. The way we assigned tables reminded me of a waiter in Karl-Marx Stadt in 1989. When we asked him if we could get another table for two in the still empty restaurant so that we didn't have to sit closely next to someone, he was very reluctant to comply with this request. We ordered the drinks - also a bottle of carbonated water. But a carafe of table water arrived - this complaint was also dealt with with obvious reluctance. When the starters came, my asparagus was missing the beetroot. Even with this complaint, the employee's complaint management was not very developed. After the plate was put back in front of me without comment, smoked beetroot was only present as a minimal decoration on the plate, which was not clear to me and was commented on with some incomprehension. Whereupon the employee threw us out of the restaurant with the words - “You don't have to stay - you can also leave”. He only answered our request for the bill with a gesture of his hand towards the exit door. I would like to point out at this point that we were never unfriendly, loud or disrespectful. We were actually looking forward to a lovely evening. It's a shame that guests are treated like this - but in a tourist town like Oberstdorf you don't need to be particularly qualified in fine dining - there are enough guests

Due to the bad weather, the beer garden was closed, so we ate in the restaurant. There is a different menu inside. We ate the beef roulade with spaetzle. Super tender, everything harmonious, the spaetzle super tasty. And all regional ingredients. But no beer garden prices. But our dish was also worth it.

Leider kann ich den Bewertungen teilweise nichts abgewinnen. Wir haben dort um 18:00 Uhr abends mit vier Personen gegessen und waren über die Preisgestaltung entsetzt, für eine Qualität die ich nicht eher als durchschnittlich bewerten möchte.Hinzu kam mehrfach vom "Fachpersonal" der Hinweis das wir bis spätestens 19:30 den Tisch wieder zu räumen haben da er um 20:00 Uhr wieder reserviert wäre. Alles insgesamt ein eher schlechter Abend der nicht zur Wiederholung einlädt.

You sit very comfortably. The bread and onion butter beforehand were good. Unfortunately the food disappointed us. The venison schnitzel was tough, but unfortunately the meat of the veal schnitzel tasted dull. The spinach dumplings were good, although quite salty.

Very exceptionally prepared dishes. The game soup was extremely tasty. Unfortunately quite expensive for the small portions, but just okay for this quality.

Empfang hat nichts mit Herzlichkeit zu tun. Wenn der Küchenchef meint es gibt kein Salz und Pfeffer auf dem Tisch sollten die Speise aber top abgeschmeckt sein!

Wir sind immer mal wieder im Sommer hier im Biergarten, für uns der schönste Biergarten im Allgäu. Dieses Mal waren wir Anfang Oktober mit der Familie hier zu Gast. Normalerweise sitzen wir immer im Selbstbedienungsbereich, der war aber jetzt geschlossen. Kein Problem, so wurden wir nett bedient, wir waren zu sechst, hatten 5 verschiedene Gerichte und alle waren sehr zufrieden. Ich hatte mich für den Wurststalat entschieden, und muss sagen er war sehr lecker. Alles in allem gute Gründe im nächsten Sommer wiederzukommen!

Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir waren zu zweit und hatten jeweils das Rumpsteak bestellt. Dieses war leider bei uns beiden extrem zäh und schmeckte daher nicht gut. Dafür 30€ pro Steak (was zudem auch nicht wirklich groß war) ist schon ein Witz. Service war top, sehr aufmerksam!

Hatte heute Abend einen „Notsitz“ direkt gegenüber der Theke, direkt im Eingang, weil alles ausgebucht war. Es war so lustig den Scherzen der Bedingungen zuzuhören und ich bin richtig froh, dort gesessen zu haben, habe selten beim Essen so lachen können. Das Essen selbst war super lecker. Alles in allem ein tolles Erlebnis

Der Service war okay. Freundlich, bemüht. Das Essen dafür eine Frechheit. Die Kässpatzen sind im Fett geschwommen und waren sehr "salzig-kräftig", frischer feffer aus der Mühle wäre wirklich schön gewesen, vielleicht bisschen Schnittlauch... Das Münchner Schnitzel war von der Präsentation und vom Geschmack enttäuschend. Preis/Leistung passen absolut nicht!

Wir haben im Jagdhaus in der schönen Prinzenstube unsere Hochzeit gefeiert und waren sehr glücklich mit dieser Entscheidung! Die Atmosphäre ist urig, gemütlich und trotzdem sehr feierlich, das Essen ist hervorragend und ich finde es toll, dass nur regionale Produkte verwendet werden. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld mit dem Restaurantleiter war freundlich und professionell und auch der Service am Abend war sehr angenehm, unsere Gäste haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt, herzlichen Dank an das Team!

Wir saßen im schönen Biergarten. Trotz der Größe war es nicht hektisch. Das Essen war gut.

Wir haben das Jagdhaus zufällig entdeckt. Eigentlich hatte ich in Oberstdorf überteuerten Touristenschmarrn erwartet. Aber hier passt alles. Superqualität zu angemessenen Preisen. Dazu kommt ein überaus freundlicher und persönlicher Service. Abgerundet wird der tolle Aufenthalt mit einem gemütlichen Biergarten. Auch das Konzept der regionalen und nachhaltigen Küche verdient eine eigene Kategorie mit 5 Sternen. Ich kann allen in Oberstdorf unbedingt einen Besuch empfehlen.

Das Jagdhaus ist eine absolute Empfehlung. Top Service und Qualität. Das Motto BRUTAL LOKAL ist zeitgemäß und überzeugt. Nach meinem 11ten Besuch im Jagdhaus (über 10 Jahre hinweg) ist die Qualität auch gleichbleibend hoch.

Nach mehrfachen Besuchen in zwei Urlauben in diesem Jahr kann man über das Restaurant -fast- nur positives berichten. Versprochene Qualiät und Philosophie stimmen mit der Wirklichkeit überein. Beste Qualität an Speisen und Getränken werden den postulierten Ansprüchen gerecht. Dennoch ist die Preispolitik fair und ausgewogen. Die gemütliche Stube rundet ein Wohlfühlerlebnis ab .... Der Aufenthalt auf der Terrasse im Sommer wird aktuell nur durch den Blick auf ein Großbaustelle getrübt. Der Service ist locker und aufmerksam, mit der Ausnahme eines Mitarbeiters dessen Humor manchmal grenzwertig rüber kommt. Die Frage nach den Toilletten mit "... die Eimer finden Sie im Keller" oder die Bestellung von zwei "Hellen" mit dem Satz zu kommentieren, "..... hier die alkoholfreien Biere", u. a. m., scheinen nicht zu passen......

Ein dickes Lob an das Servicepersonal, aktiv bemüht auch um nicht angemeldete Gäste. Auch wenn man in Wanderklamotten daher kommt, wird man anständig und gleichwertig behandelt. Das aus der Region stammende Essen wurde mit hervorragenden Können zubereitet. Für mich ein kulinarisches Aushängeschild für Oberstdorf.

Lebensmittel haben eine gute Qualität, Bedienung sehr freundlich. Anspruch, nur regionale Produkte zu verarbeiten ist lobenswert. Jedoch sollte der hohe Anspruch sich in einem gemütlichen Stuhl und ohne Krachmusik aus einem regionalen Sender fortsetzen. Das war leider nicht der Fall. Anspruch und Leistung sowie Preis passen nicht zusammen. Schade

Auch uns führte ein Urlaubsabend zum Essen ins Jagdhaus. Die Bedienung dort war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war wirklich super und rundum gelungen. Das Restaurant kann ich auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Wir haben gut gegessen. Die Qualität war gut. Die Portionen waren so dimensioniert, dass man als Frau auch noch einen Nachtisch schafft ;-) Ich hätte mir einen Beilagen Salat gewünscht.

Brutal Regional passt nicht ganz … Brutal Deutsch passt besser. Haben prima gegessen: Der Feldsalat von der Insel Reichenau war gut, das Wiener Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln war für mich perfekt. Die Senf-Meerrettich Marinade war das Tüpfelchen auf dem i. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Hier war alles perfekt: Urige Gasträume, sehr netter Service, traditionelle Küche auf gutem Niveau, wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder.
