Delicious German cuisine in a cozy atmosphere. The path to the toilets is a bit long, but nicely decorated.

I discovered this cute house on the lake during a bike ride. It's really good for a stop. However, I can't judge the dishes yet because I've just quenched my thirst. Pretty little terrace with sun and lake views. And the interior is definitely worth a closer look. I'd love to come back!

Even if the house seems a little old, the host is really a great guy who lives for his guests. There is no standard map here that everyone can learn by heart. A daily menu that changes what you offer shows sustainability and fresh ingredients. The prices are absolutely fair and reasonable in this segment. From time to time there is live music and special events here. We were here for a 50s 60s rock & roll event which felt really authentic. According to the notices, there are still a few more events coming. Absolutely worth 5 stars just because the hospitality is not neglected, the prices are very fair and the innkeeper is very authentic. Please keep it up. We'd love to come back.

When there is space on the highway and few people it is a pleasant place. The food is tasty and satisfying, the prices are not bad.

We found this on Google and gave it a chance when driving. It was Perfect for a lunch! 77€ for 4 people (4 schnitzels, 6 beers, 2 coca cola and 1 espresso). Very good value for money. We happend to come at ”Schnitzel day” which meant that we had some discounts, which was great. Very kind service that we appreachiated alot! And the lake view is very nice too.

My son had a chicken and chips from there and ended up with Campylobacter a very rare bacteria in the UK. He's currently in hospital and has been ill for 3 days, he's 30. The UK hospital he's at is now contacting the German authorities about this. They've cross contaminated his food. How do we know it was this place? This is the only place we ate different food. 5 hours later he was in a right state!

My colleague and I were finishing work at the rest stop next door and found the restaurant by chance. Even though he had just had a funeral beforehand, the operator quickly put a pan with fried potatoes and a fried egg on the table for us. These were super tasty and filled us both up, and the price was absolutely great. I think I'll visit him again when I get off work again. We also found the ambience really great, eating right by the lake and comfortably enjoying the end of the day was a real highlight this week.

We were there as children (other tenant). Incredibly run down, dark inside, crappy furniture, unfriendly reception. Give up boy, you can't do it.

An oasis, by the way, within walking distance of the A2 Lehrter See motorway car park, on both sides because of the bridge, you sit on the terrace right on the Lehrter See and are served excellently by a passionate host.

As a long-distance driver, I took a legally required break on the rest area "next door" and discovered this little idyll while walking around the Hornhorstsee (Lehrter See). It was just beautiful: lakeside terrace, fresh meadow flowers on the tables, super friendly staff, delicious iced coffee and mango cake. Beautiful things can be so simple. In a very pleasant conversation with the owner, we found out that he has a special offer of currywurst with fries on Thursdays and schnitzel day on Fridays. And that when it already has really moderate prices. Everything freshly prepared, great! Good luck, Dennis! 🍀🍀🍀 It's a shame that it's a big problem for him to find decent staff. We'd love to come back.

We were invited there for a brunch on the occasion of a birthday. The house is beautifully located, rather inconspicuous from the outside, next to a lake, which you can enjoy when you sit on the terrace of the restaurant. The landlord is very warm and takes great care of his guests. Zum The brunch food was great, there was everything your heart could desire, later there were asparagus variations that were also very tasty. It's worth taking a look there but reserve beforehand as the seats are very popular, especially on the terrace.

We stopped at Ionity at Lehrter See Nord for a charging stop. But instead of going to the rest stop, we found our way across the bridge to the house at Lehrter See. Here we were able to get in the mood for our evening in a small group. Very, very tasty food, served directly by the chef and owner himself. We were still a little ahead of the season and renovations were still underway. But you can already imagine how idyllic it is here during the season. We definitely recommend it if you stop on either side of the motorway. Just because of the delicious food, the service and the view of the lake. Pricing is also absolutely fair Card payment possible.

It's worth taking a detour on the A2! It's about 5 minutes from the Lehrte exit and then you're sitting right by the lake on the restaurant's sunny terrace. Very good service and nice approach! We each enjoyed a schnitzel with delicious side dishes!

Such a little idyll ☺️ We were there for breakfast, had a very nice table on the covered terrace (we recommend booking in advance) and are full and completely happy. Everything was brought to our table, whether fresh scrambled eggs, sausage and cheese platters, tomatoes/mozzarella, jams, crabs and sprats/salmon, juices were available in small bottles, coffee and tea on request, as a welcome and in between Glass of sparkling wine. Sausages were served at the table by the chef, fried directly from the pan. The staff was very attentive and we were always asked whether we had everything or whether we needed anything else, whether everything was OK and whether any of our wishes could be fulfilled. Price/performance ratio absolutely top! We would love to come back and wish Dennis and his team all the best and always a full house with nice guests 😃

I am a regular at this restaurant and have hosted many events Visited there and am always very satisfied. The latest bad reviews, which apparently come from a group, are in no way understandable to me. Of course, everything can't always go perfectly, we're all just human, but these concentrated criticisms and sometimes false claims look to me more like young people are trying to vent their displeasure because maybe not everything went their way. Something like this is unfair, damaging to business and doesn't exactly reflect the maturity of the people involved. We will continue to enjoy the good food and the beautiful view on a regular basis and can recommend it with a clear conscience to everyone who doesn't know the Haus am Lehrter See yet and would like to try it out!

Actually a very nice place to celebrate and enjoy your Friday evening. Unfortunately, there were always unpleasant statements from the operator against individual people who had clear problems with it. Agreements on beer prices were not taken into account and increased from €2.60 to €3.10 over the course of the evening. Unfortunately, I cannot make any recommendations here.

Given the suboptimal gastronomic standards and the deviation from expected brilliance, I decided to refrain from recommending this restaurant.

Wir waren nach einem ausgedehnten Spaziergang im Haus am See und waren begeistert. Das Restaurant ist klein und urig. Eine sehr gemütliche, freundliche Atmosphäre mit Kamin und erster Weihnachtsdeko, sowie freundlicher Bedienung. Die Waffeln waren lecker und wunderschön angerichtet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Kann ich jederzeit empfehlen. Immer wieder schön bei Euch. Bis bald.

Wirklich tolles Essen, sehr aufmerksame Mitarbeitende. Wenn man mit 1-2 Tagen Vorlauf Bescheid gibt, achtet der Koch auch auf besondere Wünsche. Wir haben z.B. eine vegane Bolognese gegessen, die wirklich klasse war. Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder!

Ein schöner Ort in Lehrte, um schön zu sitzen und zu genießen.

Das Ambiente hat etwas von grossem Sandkasten mit Fischerhütte... aber das Essen war gut! Es ist allerdings so weit weg vom Schuss, dass sich offenbar nur "Insider" dort hin verirren. Habe ein sehr leckeres Gericht von der Tageskarte genommen, das absolut frisch und lecker zubereitet wurde.

Wir waren heute während unseres Ladestopps an der Autobahn hier essen. Man kann durch eine Pforte auch von der Raststätte zum See und zu diesem leckeren Restaurant. Es ist super schön gelegen und wir konnten draußen in der Sonne mit Blick auf dem See essen. Das Essen war hervorragend und gerade das vegetarische Gericht mit Semmelknödel, Pfifferlingrahmsauce und einem Beilagensalat sehr kreativ, lecker gekocht und angerichtet. Auch der Preis ist super! Wir kommen gerne nochmal wieder. Service war auch top.

Das Grillbuffet war super, die Terrasse am See ist schön und die Preise sind erschwinglich.

Die Terrasse ist mit neuen Möbeln versehen und sieht gut aus. Die gesamte Terrasse ist überdacht, so dass man auch bei Regen gemütlich essen kann. Unser Essen war sehr gut. Wirt Dennis kocht und ist mit im Service. Alle Achtung für sein Arbeitspensum. Die Preise sind günstig. Wir kommen wieder.

Die jungen Leute sind sehr nett und das Essen ist hervorragend. Preis Leistung ist hervorragend, grosse Portionen und eine tolle Auswahl. Immer wieder gerne und werden sie weiter empfehlen

Perfekter Stop mit dem Fahrrad. Kleine leckere Sachen, nette Menschen, Preise vollkommen okay

Wir waren schon mehr als einmal hier und mögen das Ambiente sehr. Es ist einfach idyllisch. Zum letzten Jahr wurden die Möbel ausgetauscht. Das macht es noch gemütlicher. Bei einem kühlen Lillet haben wir die Schwanenbabys beobachten können. Auch wenn es voll war und etwas stressig, wurde alles getan, dass es uns an nichts gefehlt hat. Sie war heute einen ganze Zeit alleine und hat das trotzdem super gemacht und wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt. Wir werden auch noch öfter kommen ☺️

Wir waren zum Spargel Essen dort und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war super lecker und frisch zubereitet. Die Preise waren fair und die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

Essen war lecker, es lohnt sich mal von der Autobahn runter zu fahren um in tollen Ambiente in Ruhe zu essen.

Oprecht perfect! Mooi uitzicht, heerlijk eten voor een hele nette prijs. En bijna hardlopende bediening die enorm vriendelijk is.

Juli 2022 Nettes Restaurant in idyllische Lage, mit fantastischem Blick auf den See. Das Wirtsehepaar ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, genau wie das Personal, es wird immer gefragt, ob etwas fehlt.. Essen sehr lecker und auch Sonderwünsche werden nach Möglichkeit erfüllt. Dass ab und an das eine oder andere Gericht nicht verfügbar ist, liegt daran, dass nicht verschwenderisch eingekauft wird, damit möglichst wenig im Müll landet und das kann ich nur begrüßen! Sehr abwechslungsreiche Tagesempfehlungen außerhalb der Karte. Auch für Vegetarier ist immer etwas leckeres da, selbst ohne Reservierung. Wir sind sehr gerne und recht häufig dort! Update April 2023: Wir haben am Sonntag, den 16.04. 2023 dort Konfirmation gefeiert mit 22 Personen. Es war alles total schön eingedeckt, sehr chic. Das Essen war unglaublich gut, jeder von den 4 Gängen! Es war nicht ein Stück, was nicht geschmeckt hat, einfach hervorragend! Und da auch 6 Vegetarier mitgefeiert haben auch hervorragende fleischlose Alternativen. Jana hat ganz alleine den Service bestritten und hat das wirklich vorbildlich gemacht. Die ganze Zeit freundlich und nie fehlte es an Getränken oder sonst irgendwas. selbst die Gäste, die sonst nicht so leicht zufrieden sind, waren begeistert und haben kein schlechtes Wort verloren. Schöner kann man eine Konfirmation wirklich nicht feiern. Vielen herzlichen Dank euch beiden!!!!
