Essen lecker,aber ein Restaurant das sich Italienisch auf die Fahnen geschrieben hat und nicht ein Stück Brot da hat und auch keine Zitrone zum Fisch reichen kann finde ich bißchen komisch.

Alles super! Essen sehr lecker Ambiente, sehr schön eingedeckt und eingerichtet Service sehr gut und zuvorkommend.

Ich habe in diesem netten kleinen Restaurant ein köstliches Mittagessen genossen. Freundlicher Kellner, erlesene Weine und hervorragende Gerichte. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Immer wieder gerne sehr gute, ausgesuchte, frische und abwechslungsreiche Küche. Personal ist sehr nett und aufmerksam. Würde 10 Sterne geben.

Wir waren heute Mittag zum ersten aber sicher nicht zum letzten Mal bei euch. Schöne Lage,sehr freundlicher Service. Das Essen war optisch schön angerichtet und auch geschmacklich sehr gut.

Dieser Ort ist ein absolutes Juwel! 😍 Der Service war erstklassig, das Essen unglaublich frisch und jeder Bissen ein wahres Geschmackserlebnis! Die Speisen waren kunstvoll angerichtet und die Weinbegleitung perfekt. Das Ambiente ist genauso wundervoll wie das Essen, und die Geräuschkulisse ist genau richtig – man kann sich mit seinen Tischnachbarn problemlos unterhalten. Und die Desserts erst … einfach himmlisch! Service, Essen, Wein und Atmosphäre harmonieren perfekt und machen dieses Restaurant zu einem absoluten Volltreffer. Ob romantisches Dinner, Feier eines besonderen Anlasses oder einfach nur etwas für sich selbst – dieses Restaurant ist ein Muss. Alles, was wir probiert haben, war einfach göttlich!

Spontan samstags noch Platz bekommen und es war mehr als köstlich. Die Rote-Bete-Variation zu Beginn bietet gleich eine wundervolle Bandbreite an Geschmackserlebnissen. Dann der herrlich saftige Skrei umgeben von samtiger, cremiger Polenta oder dieitalienischen Strozzapatri, gebettet in einer toll gewürzten Soße mit Oliven, Kapern, eingelegten Tomaten und vielen Gamberonis bis hin zum Affogato mit Pistazieneis und -schaum, jeder Gang ein anregendes Erlebnis. Große Auswahl an interessanten offenen Weinen. Die Scheurebe von Dolt, Flemlingen passt super. Die bedienenden Herren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Genauso wünscht man sich Essen: leicht, anregend, fantastisch, überzeugend in einer liebevollen Umgebung.

Wer ein Restaurant sucht, das Handwerk, Herzlichkeit und ein besonderes Ambiente vereint, ist hier genau richtig. ​Ambiente & Service ​Das Lokal ist wunderbar klein und intim, was sofort für eine exklusive und gemütliche Atmosphäre sorgt – man fühlt sich nicht wie ein Gast unter vielen, sondern wie bei Freunden zu Besuch. Das Service-Personal war den gesamten Abend über absolute Spitzenklasse: aufmerksam, professionell und dabei unglaublich herzlich. Man merkt, dass hier ein Team arbeitet, das seinen Job liebt. ​Die Küche – Ein wahrer Traum ​Ein riesiges Kompliment geht an die beiden Köche. Was hier aus der Küche gezaubert wurde, war handwerklich und geschmacklich auf allerhöchstem Niveau. Wir hatten sowohl die Fleisch-Varianten als auch die vegetarischen Menüs am Tisch: ​Die Fleischgerichte: Auf den Punkt gegart, zart und mit perfekt abgestimmten Saucen. ​Die vegetarische Variante: Oft ein Stiefkind in der Gastronomie, aber hier ein absolutes Highlight! Kreativ, geschmacksintensiv und optisch ein Kunstwerk. ​Jeder Gang war ein Erlebnis für sich („ein Traum“ trifft es eigentlich am besten). Die Qualität der Zutaten war in jedem Biss spürbar. ​Der Ablauf ​Das Menü war zeitlich perfekt getaktet. Wir haben bis ca. 23:00 Uhr geschlemmt, sodass wir den Abend in aller Ruhe genießen konnten, ohne dass Hektik aufkam. Es war der ideale kulinarische Vorlauf, um entspannt und glücklich ins neue Jahr zu starten. ​Fazit: Das Esszimmer ist ein echtes Juwel in Neustadt an der Weinstraße. Wer exzellentes Essen in einem wunderschönen, kleinen Rahmen sucht, kommt an diesem Restaurant nicht vorbei. Essen macht glücklich. Nicht nur ein Werbespruch, sondern hier gelebte Tradition. Absolute Spitzenperformance vom ganzen Team. Kann man nicht besser machen, wir haben uns daheim gefühlt. Da hat wirklich alles gepasst, der aufmerksame, aber nie aufdringliche Service, das unglaublich leckere toll zusammen gestellte Menü, die perfekte Beratung ( z.B. zur alkoholfreien Getränkewahl zum Überraschungsmenü), die Musik, das Ambiente, einfach alles top. Machen wir sicher wieder. Preis-Leistung praktisch nicht zu übertreffen.

Das beste Restaurant in Neustadt, mit Michelin-Erwähnung. Hervorragende Speisen im modernen italienischen Stil mit interessantem Einsatz von Gewürzen, besonders Bergamotte und andere Citrusaromen. Unaufdringlicher, absolut attenter Service. Reservierung unverzichtbar, ist fast immer ausgebucht.

For me, this is one of the best places for Italian dishes. A brilliant concept with three or four traditional menus to choose from. Very good quality and outstanding service.

We had a lovely outdoor spot at lunchtime. It's best to reserve in advance. The lunch menu is highly recommended. Tasty snacks that are still filling. Very good pinsa, delicious pasta, and excellent antipasti. Pleasant, friendly service.

Unfortunately, at noon today, we found ourselves standing in front of a locked door with two other people. We couldn't reach anyone by phone or online reservation, and there was no information at the restaurant explaining why it was closed today. It's a real shame, especially since we drove over from Bergstrasse.

The Thursday special (a set five-course meal with wine pairing) is simply a culinary delight. High-quality ingredients, excellently prepared, beautifully presented, and served—a feast for the eyes as well.

The food tasted very good. I don't think the price-performance ratio is good. The portions are very small, and some ingredients listed on the very transparent menu aren't always available or are available in small quantities. I won't eat there again.

We were there for the surprise menu on Thursday. From the welcome from the kitchen, to the appetizer, soup, entrée, and dessert, everything was perfect and incredibly delicious. The service staff, no matter who they are, are highly competent, very friendly, and attentive. You just feel like you're in good hands there. I highly recommend it!

Both the evening menus and the small but exquisite lunch menu are excellent. I find the selection of dishes to be well-executed, although at first glance, the composition certainly seems unusual and original. However, the flavors harmonize very well with each other and give the dishes that certain something. The service is simply outstanding.

On Thursdays, there's a 5-course tasting menu. It was excellent. Upon request, we were able to sit outside, even though the table wasn't set up due to the cold day. We received very courteous service. Overall, it was a wonderful evening.

When it comes to open wines in the dining room, the focus is on the best quality and not on “etiquette”. The manageable number of starters, intermediate courses and main courses offers something for every taste. The dining room is an absolute highlight and we will be back. Too expensive for me personally, but I wasn't the one who chose the restaurant (I don't have the same fascination for expensive food as the rest of the family...). The choice was fish, meat or vegetarian, so for me it was just one choice as I don't like fish and am picky about vegetables. I only had one main course, unfortunately the "please medium" of the beef fillet was completely ignored, but it wasn't as tough as usual and still bloody so it was still okay. The quantity is small according to the price... it would never be worth almost €40 to me, it wasn't as special as you would expect. imo you don't have to tell me again what's on the plate, I read it when I ordered it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Opinion of the rest of the family: The food was good, but that certain extra that you would expect for the price was partly missing and the seasoning was a bit weak/unsimple

Wir kamen ca. 20 Minuten vor unserer Reservierung im Esszimmer an, es waren bereits genug Tische frei, trotzdem hat man uns wieder in den Regen geschickt, mit der Begründung, der Tisch müsste noch eingedeckt werden. Da es Donnerstag war, waren wir auf das Tastingmenü eingestellt, der Service quittierte das mit einem "gegessen wird, was auf den Tisch kommt." Das Amuse Geule bestand aus einer Kartoffelsuppe in der Espresso-Tasse und einem mediterranen Küchlein mit Pesto. Erster Gang mit Piadina war in Ordnung, Füllung etwas undefiniert mit Salsiccia und anderem. Zweiter Gang war Pfifferlingsuppe mit einem Tortelloni gefüllt mit Steinpilzen. Abgesehen davon, dass weder Pfifferlinge noch Steinpilze im Mai Saison haben, war die Suppe total versalzen. Auf unseren Hinweis an den Service wurde kommentiert, das wäre nur die "Würze" und zu viel Salz würde auf keinen Fall verwendet. Weiter ging es mit Pasta mit Kalbsragout, wieder sehr salzig, die Pasta zu weich. Haben wir in Italien zu günstigen Preisen weit besser gegessen. Als Fleischgang war Iberico Schwein mit Balsamico Kruste, leider keine Kruste, nur eine Haube; Fleisch war perfekt zart und sehr aromatisch. Zum Dessert wurden Crespelle mit Espressoschaum mit einem sehr guten Mandeleis serviert. Dies war der beste Gang des Abends. Alles in allem sind Preis und Leistung unserer Meinung nach nicht angemessen, die Gerichte waren geschmacklich nicht fein abgewogen, die kreativen Geschmackserlebnisse haben leider gefehlt. Der Service war bemüht, ich finde es aber befremdlich, dass ALLE Gerichte meinem Mann vor mir serviert wurden. Das kann leider das schöne, intime Ambiente in der Altstadt Neustadts nicht aufwiegen. Wir werden dem Esszimmer aber eine zweite Chance an einem anderen Tag geben.

Wir hatten uns aufgrund der vielen sehr guten Rezensionen auf ein kulinarisches Highlight gefreut. Die Atmosphäre im Außenbereich, der Service und auch die Präsentation der einzelnen Gänge entsprach den Versprechungen voll und ganz. Die Qualität und der Geschmack der Speisen des Tastingmenüs hatte jedoch viel Luft nach oben und entsprach in keinster Weise unseren Erwartungen.Einige Zutaten wiederholten sich und gingen geschmacklich leider im großen Mischmasch unter. Unter Gourmetküche verstehen wir, die wir regelmäßig Gourmetrestaurants besuchen etwas anderes.

Wir hatten das Restaurant ausgewählt, um ein besonderes Ereignis zu feiern. Wir hätten gerne um 19:00 Uhr reserviert, was uns durch das online-Buchungssystem nicht ermöglicht wurde. Das gesamte Preis- Leistungsniveau entsprach nicht den Erwartungen. Die Kombinationen der einzelnen Gerichte war keinesfalls stimmig. Die Desserts, wir haben beide probiert, waren eine Katastrophe. Dieser Abend rechtfertigt in keiner Weise, die vielen positiven Bewertungen.

For me the highlight discovery of 2023. The food and service are perfect here. The chef manages to offer creative cuisine at a very high level without drifting into isolated spheres. For me personally one of the best restaurants in the area. The wine list is also top.

Gestern Abend im Esszimmer: Tadelloses Kalbstatar handgeschnitten, nicht gewolft! kontrastierte wunderbar mit Selleriesalat und Trüffelmayo, cremigem Kartoffelpü und Parmigiano-Chip. Hauptgang auf den Punkt gegarter Skrei, leicht glasig, saftig, extrem frisch. Serviert auf zart gedämpftem Blattspinat (wo gibt’s denn sowas noch?) dazu ein cremiges Risotto und eine elegante Sauce mit Chorizo-Note. Alles sehr harmonisch und gekonnt. Gute Weinauswahl und freundlicher Service. Danke an das ganze Team für den wunderbaren Abend.

Wir hatten das Überraschungsmenü am Donnerstag und waren begeistert.

Das war eines der besten Ess-Erlebnisse derd letzten Jahre. Menüzusammenstellung, Zubereitung und Präsentation der Speisen, Weinsortiment. Es hat alles gepasst. Wer einmal wirklich gut essen möchte und auf ein Wohlfühl-Ambiente Wert legt, ist dort gut aufgehoben. Die Preise sind nicht niedrig aber dem Niveau durchaus angemessen. Wer Schnitzel XXL möchte sollte sich etwas anderes suchen.

Zu Mittag - perfekter angenehmer Service und ein Carpaccio zum "Reinknien".

Wunderbar!! Wir waren mit Freunden dort essen. Wir hatten alle eine Vorspeise ein Hauptgericht und Dessert. Das Essen war klasse und sein Geld wert obwohl ich sagen muss, dass das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ausgereizt ist. Der Service war professionell, schnell, kompetent und etwas zu formell (für mich) aber zum Ende hin taute er etwas auf. Macht weiter so und wir sehen uns öfter:-)

Essen war ausgezeichnet und geschmacklich eine der Besten Sachen die ich je gegessen habe. Mir war das 3 Gänge Menü für ~60€ allerdings etwas zu wenig und musste mir danach andernorts nochmal etwas holen. Service überaus zuvorkommend, es wurde auch auf besondere Ansprüche (Unverträglichkeiten) geschickt reagiert und das Essen angepasst. Ambiente im schönen Altstadt flair.

Wir hatten einen schönen Sommerabend mit leckeren Essen und sehr nettem Service. Donnerstags gibt es das Tasting Menü mit 5 Gängen und einem Gruß aus der Küche. Alle Gänge waren ausnahmslos sehr lecker. Man wurde auf eine angenehme Weise satt und der Geschmack war prima. Der Service war professionell, witzig und unkompliziert. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!
