Unfortunately there was no table available for 4. So far everything was fine. HOWEVER When we asked the local guests for an alternative restaurant, the waitress kicked a chair to the side. RECOMMENDATION Dear waitress, look for another job.

Absolutely great. I can only recommend it.

We were guests here about 5-6 times this year. Indoor and outdoor. It was always nice and good. But this time on December 20th, 2024 they seemed to me to be overwhelmed. Three pieces of turkey breast with rice about €20 🤔 Waited 30 minutes for a beer, and if I offer heaven and hell (espresso hot with ice) then it has to be like that. And not ice cold. For the time being we will avoid Rüters Theater and will no longer recommend it. Mario

With a wonderful ambience, delicious food and very attentive service, it was an all-round successful evening. We have been guests here several times and would love to come back. Since I feel in good hands with my gluten intolerance (celiac disease), the restaurant is now one of my favorites.

We went to the restaurant for dinner with friends as a family. All dishes were very tasty. The service was super nice and the atmosphere was very pleasant You have to bring your time, all dishes are freshly prepared, and you may have to wait 1.5 hours for your food. If you plan for that, you'll have a lovely evening. We'd love to come back

I have known the Rüter couple for about ten years as excellent restaurateurs in Mußbach. Until 2022 in the tiny wine bar in the LOBLOCHER SCHLÖSSEL winery, in the meantime now in RÜTERS THEATER. In addition to one or two visits for two or four people in the meantime, this was the third visit with my WECK-WORSCHT-UN-WOI hiking group on October 3rd. We traditionally do our autumn hike there, and in 2024 the final evening will be in RÜTERS THEATER for the first time. It is a tradition for the Rüter family, in the week around October 3rd. to offer an East-West menu, a bit flippantly you could say Soljanga vs. Lewwerknödel. But at the very best level of cooking! Delicious food from East and West. Saßnitzer Fischklopse, Saure Nierle with mashed potatoes, Wiener Schnitzel with lukewarm potato salad, etc. All delicious! A fantastic wine list that offers very good recommendations should also not go unmentioned. And even though we were registered as a group of 20 people, there was no stress. Ms. Rüter and her daughter had the service perfectly under control. GREAT! And when it gets warmer again, there is also a small vineyard behind the house. Reservation strongly recommended! Have fun and enjoy your meal!

We also had to wait a long time for the food but the taste made up for the wait. The service was very nice and attentive. I can only recommend this restaurant. It is very cozy and has its own charm. We had a baked schnitzel rubbed with Dijon mustard and horseradish and breaded. Plus spaetzle and salad.

By far the best and largest woodcutter schnitzel we have eaten. Compliment, first class.

The three of us were here last night and were warmly welcomed along with our dog. The wines, soup, schnitzel, Kässpätzle, roast pork and everything else is an absolute dream, we'll be back!

Food was good. Unfortunately the waiting time is unacceptable. 70 minutes for three main courses. Unfortunately too long for me.

We just had a drink. Beautifully located directly on the Moselle and the old wine cellars are simply fantastic.

Were there with over 30 people for a family celebration. The innkeepers closed the wine bar for the day and were only there for us. The food was delicious, the service perfect, and the ambience both inside and outside in the garden was wonderful. We can all recommend it.

We ate ala cart. Beef with horseradish, rump steak and other dishes. Very well prepared across the board, cooked to perfection and seasoned really well! A kitchen in which you can't taste the chef's whim! 😜 We'll be back, like we've been for many years!

The three of us were at the Rütters Theater on May 10, 2024; the table had been reserved a few days earlier via the website for 6:30 p.m. We ordered three main courses and a starter, a grilled sheep's cheese. Our drinks were at the table in an acceptable time. We waited for our food. And waited. And waited. An hour passed. And we waited. The service, which was probably provided by the lady of the house, did not seem to consider it necessary to inform us that it would take longer, or more specifically: forever. We were not informed of this when we arrived or when we took the order. After an hour and a quarter, I asked the service to bring us a basket of bread, butter and some olive oil because it was probably taking a long time. There too: not a word of explanation, let alone an apology. The bread came then - after about 10 minutes. To shorten it: After one and three quarters (1h 45m) the sheep's cheese finally arrived, which was of a good grade 3 in quality. After exactly 2 hours the main courses arrived, after I once again expressed my dissatisfaction to the service (the lady of the house...). Even now: no host behavior at all, no apology, no regrets, if it took us too long then so be it, that was the answer. The main courses were so-so. When asked, the person who ordered cheese spaetzle was given a grade of 4, a schnitzel was described as "goes like that", my cordon bleu with fried potatoes suffered from tasteless and crustless potatoes and far too strong filling cheese, which dominated everything in terms of taste and simply steamrolled other flavors. It is worth a very special mention to me that the (very, very sparsely stocked) bread basket that I had asked for to combat the foreseeable starvation was specifically shown on the bill. Even when I pointed out the unacceptable timing once again when paying, there was not a single word in response, let alone an expression of regret or an apology. A recommendation? For God's sake no! Anyone who is not suitable as a host (the lady of the house) should not be a host. And if you don't have enough control over your kitchen processes to serve your guests in an acceptable time, it might be better not to work in a kitchen. The overall rating: Cuisine: 4, Service: 6, Value For Money: Not good.

Nice, cozy restaurant in NW-Mussbach with good, down-to-earth, regional cuisine. My Cordon Bleu was outstanding and spot on. The portions are very generous, so no one has to go home hungry. I found the service to be very friendly and attentive. Thank you for the lovely evening and we’d be happy to come back any time!

It used to be a small barn as you can see from the outside. There are nicely laid out tables and chairs inside. Cozy and with paintings on the walls that make you smile. The food was very tasty and plentiful. We were all very excited. We really liked it here and can only recommend it.

We went to this restaurant for the first time today and waited an unnervingly long 2 hours for our food. The fish tasted quite good and was served with mustard sauce. However, the salad was also dressed with mustard sauce and that was simply too much mustard. The quality of the dishes doesn't match the price either and the 23 euros for the fish fillet is excessive. The wine from a winery was delicious. The service was friendly but incredibly slow. The toilet can be reached via a multi-step staircase and is not disabled friendly. In addition, it is already getting very old. And the crooked stickers on the tiles don't change anything. All in all, too highly praised and overpriced for what the guest gets in the end.

We are always thrilled when we are here on vacation. Food is always delicious, service is very friendly!

Essen gab es nicht mehr um 21 Uhr. Nicht mal eine Kleinigkeit wie Käsewürfel. Bedienung ging so. Kann nur bedingt empfehlen

Wir hatten zu viert einen sehr schönen Abend. Die Bedienung war schnell, aufmerksam und höflich. Unser Essen war sehr gut.

Sehr nette Bedienung von Beginn an unseres Besuchs. Die Weinstube hat eine tolle Auswahl von pfälzischen Weinen, eine wunderbare Speisekarte und eine tolle Atmosphäre. Das Essen war qualitativ und vom Geschmack her sehr gut! Wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen!

Wie waren leider enttäuscht,, Salat Dressing fix und fertig angerührt, pfeffer rahmsauce genauso. Garnelen überschwemmt mit olivenöl , und nicht wirklich gebacken. Auf unsere Frage zur Bedienung kam nur ein ja das ist halt Mal jetzt so . Leider , das war nix

zunächst einmal, das Essen war hervorragend! Warum dann nur zwei Sterne? Weil nicht nur die Qualität der Speisen für eine Bewertung maßgebend ist,sondern auch der Umgang mit den Gästen,zumindest für mich! Konkret heißt das,dass ich mich sehr über den Tisch der für uns reserviert wurde geärgert habe! Wir waren am 2ten Weihnachtsfeiertag im Restaurant, hatten aber schon im Oktober reserviert! Uns wurde dann der Tisch direkt am Eingang, der auch noch so groß war,das mindestens 8 Personen Platz gehabt hätten zugemutet!(wir waren zu dritt) Nicht nur das es gezogen hat,da half auch umsetzen nichts,ich fand uns deplatziert! Ich hätte ja nichts gesagt,wenn wir spontan im Theater Essen wollten und kein anderer Tisch mehr frei gewesen wäre,dann hätte ich auch Platz am„Stammtisch„ genommen,aber so,das war für mich wie ein Tisch an der Toilette! Das geht nicht! Das ist natürlich alles nur subjektiv und meine persönliche Meinung.Andere hätten damit vielleicht keine Probleme,aber für mich ist das ein Grund für Kritik!

Nur zu empfehlen, super Essen, schönes Ambiente und sehr netter Service 👍👌

Wir waren mit 4 Personen dort. Jeder hatte ein anderes Gericht bestellt und es war alles total klasse. Sehr nette Bedienung, tolle Atmosphäre und Preis - Leistung top. Wir kommen wieder!

Gerichte gut Service will immer Recht haben. Koch diskutiert wegen der verschiedenen Stufen vom Steak. Dort gibt Medium anscheinend in verschiedenen Stufen Englisches Steak. Das erste Steak war bei Medium durch. Beim zweiten Steak war es dann gut. Das war dann Englisch - Medium. Kenne ich nicht.
