We particularly like the variety of the cuisine, the lovely atmosphere in the "large" hall, and the friendly service ☺️👍

We were a group of 21 people. Everything was absolutely perfect. Five stars aren't enough for the service! The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was very comfortable and pleasant. We'll definitely be back!

Great location, stylishly decorated. Very tasty dishes, unfortunately, in my opinion, the bowls have shrunk a bit and the prices have remained the same. Still, very good and delicious food. Service could be improved; once you've received your food, they rarely ask for anything. Otherwise, it's top-notch and I'd go back anytime!

For me, this is the best restaurant Neustadt has to offer. This applies to the cuisine and all the dishes prepared. The competent staff, exceptionally well-appointed surroundings, and the fantastic view over the Rhine plain are just as impressive.

We came here after a hike and were absolutely thrilled! They had the best onion cake my wife (the best wife of all) has ever eaten! The wine was delicious and at a perfect temperature! The young staff at the food and drinks counter were friendly and accommodating! I think what's particularly original about the concept is that guests can also bring their own food (which some do)!

A good restaurant with a wide selection of food and drinks. They offer classic dishes, such as schnitzel and various hamburgers, as well as bowls and vegetarian options. The value for money is reasonable, the portions are sufficient, and the taste is generally very good. The service is friendly and helpful; however, a bottle of mineral water we ordered was not brought to our last order (which we also complained about), but it ended up on the bill anyway. The dining room is very large, comfortably furnished, but can sometimes be a bit loud with background music and when fully booked. Reservations are definitely recommended on weekends if you're coming with a group. Overall, though, I can recommend Tafel & Wein.

The ambiance and service were excellent. There were three of us that evening, and everyone (one regular, one vegetarian, one vegan) found what they were looking for and were satisfied.

We had reserved a table for 7:30 p.m. We had starter platters and wanted to order something else. We were then told the kitchen closes at 8:30 p.m. There were six of us sitting at a large, round table, but there were only four of us. We couldn't have a conversation because the table was so big. We asked and asked if we could be given another table where we could sit opposite each other. They said no, there were 100 more people coming. No more people came into the restaurant. They were already setting the table for a larger party. The food was good, the wine was mediocre, but the staff were unfriendly. The food was brought out and handled as if we were at a train station. We won't be coming back for a while, it's absolutely terrible.

We enjoy our stay here and like the restaurant. Friendly service, pleasant ambiance. We're deducting a few stars due to the rather high prices.

A very special and unique location. Unusual decor that, at least, perfectly suits my taste. A diverse menu and fast, efficient service. Several good wines and a very varied menu. There were 10 of us there and we had 7 different dishes, and everyone was very satisfied with both the quality and quantity! (e.g., burgers, spare ribs, Caesar salad, cordon bleu, Thai dishes). The price wasn't exactly cheap, but the value was okay. Given the very high ceiling (former winery?), I imagine it might not be easy to heat the space in winter. The only drawback: the advance service could be improved, both in terms of telephone availability and the (lack of) response to emails or the contact page.

We chose the calamari. It was exceptionally delicious. The service was very attentive, courteous (Rahim), and humorous (we suspect it was the owner). Overall, highly recommended.

A voucher was not honored because it had expired by law. This was not customer-friendly. The rump steak came with about 15 fries.

The terrace is a wonderful place to spend a cozy evening with friends. The food and drinks are delicious and freshly prepared. The platters for two are especially inviting for sitting, chatting, and lingering—just being there and relaxing. We're already looking forward to the indoor time in the winter to enjoy the wonderful ambiance.

Tried to have dinner there 3 days in a row. 1. The kitchen was ALMOST closed! 2. The kitchen was full!??? 3. Too many reservations. So, there's no more convenience than that. There were 4 of us and we wanted a quick bite to eat and a refreshing drink to end the evening. After being fobbed off on the 3rd day, we won't try to get a table there again... What a shame.

Simply fantastic! In the Palatinate region, it's hard to find an upscale restaurant that prepares vegetarian and vegan dishes with the same dedication as typical Palatinate dishes. But here you'll find exactly that, plus truly great service and a breathtaking panorama. Luckily, I live very close by and will definitely be back again if I'm in the mood for something special.

The food is mixed, we tried a Mexican tapas platter and Spanish olives, drinking delicious cocktails. But there is also Korean and American food on menu, super cool. I recommend as a hidden jam!

The food and location were great. The service, however, was a complete disaster!! Nothing went right; a lot of things went wrong, and the same thing happened at the neighboring tables. It wasn't nearly full, and the excuse was understaffing and long lines. The wait for the main course was over an hour! The bill, however, arrived after 40 seconds. A real shame

I dined here for the first time today. We were a group of nine. The quality of the food, drinks, and service were excellent. Both the starters and main courses were served promptly and simultaneously. The food was attractively presented and very tasty. I will definitely be back soon.

Underwhelming is bragging! We went there twice. The first and the last time. Since the calamari wasn't fresh and smelled bad, I sent my wife's food back. The waiter then yelled at me in front of everyone that it was fresh. Then a woman came over, slammed the plate back on my wife, and said the calamari was fresh and not frozen. Nothing, no apology, no liquor, and the full bill, even though my wife had only eaten the fries.

A visit to "Tafel und Wein" is a truly refreshing experience. With service that is not only friendly but also extremely attentive, you feel comfortable and well looked after from the very beginning. Particularly noteworthy is the exceptionally delicious food, which appeals to every taste and enchants the senses. But the highlight is undoubtedly the breathtaking view of the Rhine plain. For the best experience, I recommend booking a seat on the podium and enjoying the view. A true delight for all the senses!

First visit yesterday for Mother's Day. Service was the worst I have ever experienced. Despite reservations, 4 tables that arrived later were served and we were not. Despite calling from the table, the service took another quarter of an hour. My chosen dish was declared out of stock after another fifteen minutes and I had to ask for a menu again so I could choose something else. The starter went through the location several times because the service didn't know who and where. Unfortunately, the appetizer platter could not be prepared for one person, which I consider to be very inflexible. The starter plate was far too little for 25 euros and I couldn't understand the price-performance ratio. After almost two hours the main courses arrived pö a pö. Overall, I have to say for a bill of 170 euros and what was offered, we won't go there again as we definitely expect good service for the price range

It starts with the fact that the restaurant is difficult to find. The staff is too small for the number of customers. The portions are too small for the price. The food is too salty. The worst thing is the ambiance: something between a motorway service station and a sushi bar.
