I would like to give 5 stars because the breakfast is really delicious. But unfortunately it takes a little longer and the service is very nice, but also a little slow But still an absolute recommendation, also a great area so definitely stop by

Food was good, service was friendly but a bit awkward. The atmosphere is unusual.

Had tacos without a tortilla? Just covering. There was something crispy black on the bottom. Anyone looking for tacos will be disappointed here.

We celebrated a wonderful first communion here with 35 guests. Everything was extremely lovingly prepared and simply delicious. Service incredibly friendly. Also very balanced price-performance ratio. We'll be back for confirmation ;-) A big thank you!

Giesinger's enlightenment tasted the same as always. The dish “Edelweiss smashed potatoes” was returned because it was jacket potatoes and briefly fried. One of the two dips was definitely rancid. The attempt to explain to the waitress that these were not "smashed potatoes" failed. The dish was taken back without any problems and was not charged.

This small, cute restaurant offers the opportunity to have breakfast in a relaxed manner without the pressure of having to finish your meal in 1.5 hours. We regularly go to this cute restaurant for breakfast and have never been disappointed. The service is very friendly and the food is always delicious! I can only recommend this restaurant to everyone. You won't be disappointed.

It's always super cozy at Nadia's and the food is not only delicious, but also sustainable! Ohhh… We just love the edelweiss!❤️

Nadja and her team do a great job. The food is always delicious and the service is extremely friendly. The Edelweiss is also recommended for celebrations. The breakfast for our wedding party was a complete success thanks to the great planning and preparation.

Last Sunday we hosted a small private welcome party for our daughter in the Edelweiß restaurant and we couldn't have imagined it being more beautiful. Nadia and her team prepared everything according to our wishes and both the food and the ambience were highly praised by our almost 55 guests. I can only warmly recommend the Edelweiss for celebrations of any kind.

Always delicious and very friendly. Often very full, but you can always get a seat. Shakshukah is highly recommended.

The fact that they dont give notice that there are not having humus but they just serving the food is annoying. Bread was hard as stone like you already bake it last week. It just a standar food but nice to hangout. To little sortiment for food and vegetarian or vegan. Went with colleagues took almost an hour to cook.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Personal super nett und bemüht. Einziges Manko war es, dass unser Frühstück wirklich sehr lange gedauert hat bis es kam. (Etwas mehr als eine Stunde) Es war jedoch auch wirklich viel los an diesem Sonntag und eine Kellnerin brachte 2 Bücher für die Kinder, wobei trotzdem die Geduld von unseren 2 Kindern schon sehr auf die Probe gestellt wurde.

Nettes Cafe/Restaurant mit guter Auswahl an Frühstück und einer kleinen Karte an Hauptspeisen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Es ist gemütlich im Lokal und ladet zum längeren Verweilen ein. Das Essen war gut, jedoch wurde noch nicht so viel ausprobiert. Die Preise sind vollkommen in Ordnung.

Das Edelweiß ist ein sehr gemütliches Restaurant, das eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre bietet. Es ist schwer in Worte zu fassen, aber es fühlt sich einfach wie ein großes Esszimmer an. Das Essen war nicht nur sehr lecker, sondern auch frisch und liebevoll zubereitet. Obwohl die Auswahl an Gerichten etwas begrenzt ist, merkt man sofort, dass Qualität hier an erster Stelle steht. Bitte besuchen :)

Nice atmosphere, the food was good but we were waiting for more than an hour to eat and the place wasn't even full! The flat white coffee was bad, I didn't manage to drink it, and my friend's cappuccino also tasted bad; bitter and burned taste. The personnel was friendly and kind.

Wir haben hier unsere Hochzeit gefeiert und auch das Catering nach unserer Trauung im Englischen Garten bekommen. Alles war liebevoll und schön gemacht, der Kontakt mit Nadia und ihrem Team war immer persönlich und freundschaftlich. Darüber hinaus waren auch Speisen und Getränke überaus lecker! Wir kommen weiterhin gerne vorbei!

Das Edelweiß ist immer ein Besuch wert. Egal ob zum Frühstück oder auf einen Nachmittags Snack. Mich wundert es ehrlich gesagt, dass es das Edelweiß noch nicht in irgendwelche Top Ten für Frühstückslocations geschafft hat.

Am Alpenplatz ist die Welt noch in Ordnung... zumindest fühlt sie sich so an, wenn man im Edelweiß sitzt, hausgemachte Limo trinkt und Service und Essen genießt. Danach kann man es dann auch wieder leichter mit Welt und Leben ausnehmen 😜

I had a fantastic breakfast experience at Das Edelweiß! The Shakshuka was wonderfully flavorful, and the granola with yogurt was a delightful choice. The ambiance and service added to the overall enjoyment. Will definitely be returning!

Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Preise fair. Das Ambiente ist wirklich schön. Ein tolles Lokal in dem man stundenlang verweilen möchte.

Nett, schöne Lage , gutes Essen

Wir haben hier gut gegessen. Freundliche Bedienung und man kann schön draußen sitzen (relativ wenig Verkehr dort). Wir hatten Ziegenkäse-Burger, Bacon Beef-Burger und Edelweiß Salat Bowl. Alles war sehr fein und ich komme bestimmt nochmal, um das Schakschuka zu probieren!

Might be the home of the best burger in Munich. But everything else on the menu is also excellent. A small place in a tucked away neighborhood off Tegernseer Landstraße. With friends and family for more than 5 years and it's always must when in Munich.

War schon oft hier und fand vor allem das Frühstück sehr gut, den Service sehr freundlich und die Location gemütlich :) gerne wieder!

War ein sehr schöner Abend mit leckeren Essen und Getränken

Schade, dass es so wenige vegane Optionen gibt. Würd gern öfters hingehen, aber das Angebot ist zu klein.

Schönes Café mit nettem Service. Wir haben gefrühstückt, es war gut/okay, aber jetzt nicht der Oberknaller. Getränke und Kuchen waren gut.

Vor Corona hätte ich 5 Sterne gegeben, da war es für mich echt eines der besten Lokale für Frühstück in München. Nach Corona sieht das leider anders aus, ich finde die Qualität des Essens ist wirklich gesunken. Vorher gab es bspw. Bio Eier, alles super toll angerichtet und super lecker, jetzt alles leider nur noch so Mittelmaß. Nicht schlecht, aber leider auch nicht mehr gut. Keine Ahnung, was passiert ist, ob anderer Koch oder Sparmaßnahmen aber wir waren nach mehrmaligen Versuchen heute das letzte Mal da. Ambiente ist ansonsten noch sehr schön und der Service ist leider etwas überfordert (einfach zu viele Gäste für zu wenige Servicekräfte). Schade.

Gekonnt schlichte aber doch stilvolle Einrichtung, wie sie für München beinahe ungewohnt ist. Das Frühstück ist vielseitig und vergleichsweise günstig. Dafür komme ich gerne auch von außerhalb Giesings.

Ich liebe liebe liebe dieses Lokal! Egal, ob Frühstück oder Abendessen, es ist immer etwas Neues auf der Karte zu entdecken und natürlich super lecker. Auf jeden Fall ein echter Geheimtipp in München und empfehle ich jeden nur sehr!
