Someone has really put a lot of effort into the ambience and the toilet is also very clean. The service staff is very nice Unfortunately the atmosphere is very small and when you walk in it smells like fried food. The schnitzel roll was too sweet for me. The fries are actually served quite nicely on the slate board and therefore get cold quickly People drink from bottles and there are only plastic cups

A really great, cool store - Ambience sustainable, friendly - service, you can't expect more, I was even allowed to try the sauce because I can't tolerate spicy sauces - the food was so delicious and the portions were good, I also ate my eyes. - it's not the biggest store, I estimate max. For 20 people and I was missing disinfectant in the toilet. Otherwise it's a really top store that I would recommend to everyone!

I can only warmly recommend the Butzelhaus in Altena! The visit there was an absolute pleasure. The food was not only exceptionally tasty, but also incredibly diverse. The portions are generous and have just the right amount of flavor and quality. You can immediately tell that the cooking here is done with a lot of love and dedication. The atmosphere in the Butzelhaus is cozy and inviting, making the visit an entirely pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, which rounded off the evening perfectly. What an experience! We came to Altena from Iserlohn specifically to try out this burger restaurant and it was more than worth it. The burgers were simply fantastic – juicy, perfectly seasoned and topped with high quality ingredients. Every bite was a delight! The atmosphere is super cozy and the service is incredibly friendly and attentive. You can tell that people cook with passion here. We'll definitely come back, even if it's a little further - it's absolutely worth it!

We were here for the first time today. Or rather, we're still here. We have now been waiting for our food for almost 1.5 hours. And it's not in sight. The other people around us look just as contrite as we do. Unfortunately, the boys (today) are extremely overwhelmed. But it's not just due to the inability, but also to the strategy. Customers eating outside will be given priority. Local customers have to wait. Service underground. I can't say anything about the food. Still not here!

I had the onion and mushroom schnitzel in deal 1. The meat was great and the sauce was just great. Fried mushrooms and onions in the sauce are simply recommended.

I was at Butzelhaus today and I have to say the food was very tasty. The ambience was great and there was good service. There were no long waiting times like at other restaurants.

A very great atmosphere with a great young team, very nice and super tasty. Serving the food on boat platters is simply something different and we particularly liked it. Forgot to take a photo, had currywurst fries red/white; ... the curry sauce is a dream. We recommend everyone to see for themselves. One thing is for sure, *we* will be happy to come back 👍🏻

During our short vacation, the Butzelhaus was one of the best locations in Altena. The food was very good, but you have to bring a lot of time. The fries are seasoned very originally. Great selection of sauces. Burgers and pizza were both exceptionally good and tasty!

We were here on a Sunday evening and after going to the cinema we decided to have something to eat here and that was the best decision we could have made. The young man who served us was very polite and very patient. After ordering, it didn't take long for the food to arrive and what can I say, it was indescribably delicious. From the first bite to the last, the food was perfect. I would go so far as to say it was the best burger I've had so far. I will definitely come back to Butzelhaus to eat a burger here. Thank you for the nice service, the delicious food and a great end to the day!

Simply delicious! Super nice waitresses, everyone very friendly. The food came quickly and had a real variety of tastes, you could tell that everything was homemade. Very pleasant atmosphere, even if we unfortunately got the table next to the door. The chairs are not that comfortable (stools) and you sit a little cramped. All in all, a recommendation and worth one (or more) visits 👍🏻

We were at the Butzelhaus this evening. The service is very friendly and accommodating. One positive thing to mention is that every burger can be ordered with a vegetarian patty. The patty is very tasty, not a vegetable mash like others. Even vegetarians have a nice selection from the burger menu here. The burger was super tasty, the cheese sauce with the sweet potato fries was amazing. The small shop is modern and stylishly furnished. We'd love to come back.

A promise was kept. In this restaurant, the customer is king and their physical well-being is truly taken care of. The service is great. Now to the most important thing, the food. Rarely have I had such a good schnitzel, the sauce was super fresh and tasty, the fries with dips, not standard, also great. I can only recommend it. We'll definitely come again. 👍

Simply super great, we ate there an hour ago, so if you don't eat there, it's your own fault, everything was freshly prepared, the taste was A+..... the price-performance ratio for the freshly prepared dishes was more than great... the owners were all super nice there cooked with ❤️ and that's how it tastes....

We were there on March 2, 2024 with several people. Everything worked out great. The food was very tasty (for everyone) and the people were very nice and friendly. We all found the atmosphere very nice. One tiny point of criticism that I personally have is that you have to get the drinks yourself. But I won't deduct a star for that little thing. It was a lovely evening for us and we will definitely come back.

We ordered for the first time via Lieferando and actually wanted a schnitzel and have already paid online. We then got a call and were told that unfortunately there were no chicken/turkey schnitzels left, but we decided on a pizza and definitely don't regret it. The pizza is really really tasty and for the price it's more than worth it! Of course we will still try a schnitzel and a burger soon, but then in the store!!

Very good food. Absolutely recommended. Please bring some time - it's not a McD fast restaurant. Take your time and just watch something being prepared. It is worth it !

The Butzelhaus is a small “restaurant” with a rustic atmosphere. We came across it through a voucher book. We had the Butzel-Krüstchen. Impeccable. Very delicious. Nice owners.

Super cozy little shop. Very friendly and great service. We went to the store spontaneously and were pleasantly surprised. We all agreed: we've never had better burgers in our lives. Absolutely recommended. None of us have ever experienced anything like this. You can tell that someone is really putting their heart and soul into it. Later, after praise, they also took the time to tell us a few things. Top. I'll be going back soon. Even though I'm not from the region at all and will probably drive 2 hours

Had a great evening there. The cheeseburger with sweet potato fries was very good. Super juicy meat and good cheese on top. Significantly better than any run-of-the-mill fast food burger. Unfortunately, it gets very cold in the store when the temperatures are below zero. If necessary, replace the glass door with a real door. Otherwise a clear recommendation 👍

We have never (I'm not exaggerating!) eaten such incredibly delicious burgers!! The restaurant is lovingly furnished, the service is familiar and child-friendly, we felt very comfortable. Only the extraction of cooking odors could be a little more powerful due to the open kitchen concept. Clear recommendation, we would love to come back!

Sonntags um 19 Uhr wird man quasi weg geschickt obwohl laut Öffnungszeiten noch deutlich länger geöffnet wäre. Es wurde gesagt man schließe in 30-60min, nur noch zum mitnehmen. Sehr komisch...

Wir sind am Samstag durch Zufall in diesem Restaurant gelandet und es war ein tolles Erlebnis. Das Essen war super lecker und die Mitarbeiter einfach spitze. Wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder......Danke für den lustigen Abend.

Als wir hier bestellt hatten, kurz nachdem die Eröffnung des Lades stattgefunden hat, waren wir von der Qualität des Essens noch nicht so begeistert. In der Zwischenzeit hat sich hier aber einiges sehr (!) zum Positiven geändert. Wir bestellen hier gerne. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, allerdings ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis am oberen Limit dessen, was (noch) angemessen ist.

Immer wieder gerne. Für den vegetarischen Burger fahre ich sogar nach Altena. Leckeres Gemüse-Patty von super Qualität aber ohne Schnickschnack, perfekte Menge, sehr netter Service, alles, was man braucht.

Die machen tatsächlich alles selbst! Die Burgerbuns, die Chickennuggets, ... Wir hatten auch Salat mit Fisch bzw. Putenfleisch und konnten beim Zubereiten zuschauen. Alles sehr lecker! Und nette Menschen, die dort arbeiten. Hier haben sich die Betreiber eine Lokalität geschaffen, die leckeres, frisches Essen bietet und das zu guten Preisen. Weiter so! Drei Sterne beim Ambiente, weil es ein bisschen kühl war. Trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir waren am Mittwoch dort :) Süßer kleiner Laden mit offener Küche. Also was soll ich sagen.. ich glaube das ist auf diesem Planeten der beste Burger den man bekommen kann. Selbst die Joppie Soße ist selbst gemacht. Meinem kleinen Sohn hat es auch geschmeckt. Das Essen war einfach nur toll. Es kam schnell und hat besser als jeder Gourmet Burger geschmeckt! Wir kommen wieder :)

Geheimtipp! Für sehr moderate Preise gibt es hier richtig leckeres Essen. Die Mahlzeiten sind auf Schieferplatten angerichtet und sehen aus, als wäre man in einem Feinschmecker-Sterne-Restaurant. Uns hat das Essen unglaublich gut geschmeckt, der Service und Koch war super nett, während man ihn beim Zubereiten der Speisen vom Tisch aus sehen kann. Wir kommen nicht aus Altena und haben das Butzelhaus nur zufällig beim vorbeigehen gesehen, mussten aber am nächsten Abend für die Burritos unbedingt nochmal hin. Wir haben beide Male nicht lange aufs frisch zubereitete Essen gewartet und konnten die Halloween-Deko bewundern. Wir können absolut nichts Negatives erzählen, außer, dass es schade für uns ist, dass wir nicht länger in Altena geblieben sind, um noch häufiger beim Butzelhaus zu essen.

Sehr gute hausgemachte, frisch panierte Schnitzel! Super hausgemachte Saucen. So macht "imbissen" Spaß! Und dann auch noch preiswert.

Hier war alles einfach top. Sehr nette Bedienung mit super Beratung. Das Essen war hervorragend und das nicht nur, weil das Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis gepasst hat. Einer der besten Burger die je gegessen habe. Alles selbst zubereitet. Schade das wir soweit weg wohnen. Sollten wir Altena aber nochmal besuchen,dann zum Essen gerne wieder bei Euch. Klare Weiterempfehlung! Essen sehr lecker, schnell zubereitet und auch schön serviert. Personal ist sehr freundlich und ist sogar auf Extrawünsche eingegangen. Preise vollkommen in Ordnung! Kleine Spielecke für Kinder ebenfalls vorhanden.

14€ Euro für ein Cheeseburger seien wir mal erlich das ist viel zu teur und besonders groß war der auch nicht

Gleich zu Beginn wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Speisekarte machte nochmal deutlich wie so das Lokal Brutzelhaus heißt und konnte mit ausgefallenen Schnitzel so wie Bürger Kreation Glänzen. Besonders lobenswert ist die frische Zubereitung vom Schnitzel, kein Tiefkühlprodukt Frisch und von Hand geklopft. Geschmacklich war dieses Menü eine 5 von 5. Aufgefallen ist noch das Besteck, was einen wirklich billigen Eindruck machte und somit dem Leckeren Essen nicht gerecht wurde. Ein weiterer Besuch für einen Burger ist schon fest eingeplant !

Es war einfach super frisch und extrem lecker. Es sind unglaublich große Portionen, so dass ich zum ersten mal nicht auf ein Doggy Bag verzichten konnte.

Wir kommen ja schon etwas öfters aus der Nachbarstadt zum Essen und würden noch nie enttäuscht . Egal ob Pizza Burger oder Schnitzel es schmeckt einfach alles . Die Besitzer sind super nett und freundlich . Besonders Empfehlenswert sind Die Knoblauchsoße ( zum reinsetzen) Die Cheeselover Pizza Und der Italian Burger Wir kommen immer wieder gerne vorbei

Note ausreichend! Portionen sind viel zu klein! Zuviele Einzelverpackungen. Pommes waren kalt . Bratkartoffeln schmeckten nicht wie selbstgemacht . Schnitzel waren ok aber Soße zuwenig da es unterwegs angetrocknet war. Salat war sehr bunt in einer Pappschachtel. Bringdienst 100 Minuten. Vor Ort zu essen war vor 2 Jahren tausend Mal besser. Schade ☹️

Waren heute das erste Mal vor Ort; und was soll ich sagen? Bombe !!! Zwar konnte man bei dem Wetter draußen sitzen, aber innen ist auch sehr gemütlich und man kann den Jungs teils auf die Finger gucken. ;-) Nun zu dem Essen: Angebot und die Größen der Portionen sind sehr,sehr gut. Auch die Auswahlmöglichkeiten zum selber zusammenstellen sind riesig. Zeitlich war alles top, haben ~ 15 Min. auf das Essen gewartet. Zwischenzeitlich kann man sich ein gut gekühltes Getränk aus dem Schrank holen (Wasser, Schorle,Sprite, Cola; Desparados usw.) Ich selber hatte mir den Butzel-Burger + American Chilli Con Carne Pommes gegönnt. Aber Vorsicht : SUCHTGEFAHR und bringt vorallem Hunger mit... Sehr mächtig....:-)) Werde in Zukunft öfter´s hier aufschlagen. Dafür nehme ich die knapp 30 Minuten Fahrzeit gerne in Kauf.

Heftig! Mächtig! & deftig! Übertrieben nice - Der beste Burger meiner Meinung nach auf der Welt, steht in der Karte vom Butzel Haus. Das Essen rasiert alles. Ich habe mittlerweile einiges der Karte durch und habe jedesmal diese verdammte Reizüberflutung, dass ich nicht weiß, was ich essen soll, weil alles, einfach alles, übertrieben liebe beinhaltet. Auf ein Wort mit dem Chef und dem Koch, konnte ich herausfinden wie viel Herz in jedem Menü steckt. Ich bin so begeistert, weil einfach alles stimmt. Ich wünsche dem Team, dass sie bald Franchisen! Denn ich fahre 50 Minuten hierher um zu genießen. Wenn ihr was negatives erleben wollt, seid ihr hier falsch. Enjoy!
