Very tasty food, large selection and nice atmosphere 👍

If the food had been as tasty as the friendliness of the staff, it would have been a nice culinary experience. But like that, no thanks! We won't go there anymore. Especially since the criticism of the food wasn't really addressed. The food is different, which cannot be seen in the pictures. Duck and chicken with different sauces. Served carelessly with little taste. Not a highlight! It's all a matter of taste. 👎

Mein Mattar Paneer war großzügig bemessen und dicht gepackt mit indischem Käse und Erbsen, das Mango-Lassi fruchtig und nicht verwässert. Den Service fand ich aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. An einem lauen Sommerabend kann man draußen entlang der Straße sitzen und anschließend einen Spaziergang am Tegeler See machen, der nur ein paar Minuten entfernt liegt. Habe einen angenehmen Abend hier verbracht und gut gegessen (einschließlich Mango-Schnaps aufs Haus). Fazit: Empfehlenswert!

The food is good and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The toilets are clean and well maintained. Overall, recommended, although not outstanding.

We've eaten here several times. Typical Indian menu. It was very tasty. Unfortunately service is sparse. If you as a guest still have a request, you have to ask yourself. Things used to be different.

My husband and I were there a few times during the last 2 years, mostly for dinner, and always enjoyed our experience. The restaurant offers a comfortable sitting area inside and outside, the weiters are always friendly and attentive and the food we tried was delicious on most occasions: we usually take vegetarian options, which are plenty, or seafood. Vindaloo Garnelen is my favourite. Also, their traditional Indian chai (Yogi Tee) is one of the best I had in years. Strongly recommended.

This was our first time at Darjiling. Actually we always went to Aarju's one street away, but unfortunately it's no longer there :-( To say it in advance: we will definitely come back and we liked it :) We had made a reservation the day before and everyone we spoke to was super nice. We had agreed on a desired table - when we arrived the next day it was unfortunately occupied. But of course we were happy with another one, the first time you probably don't have a regular table :-) Overall, the waiters were all nice. One only spoke English, but all the others spoke German well. The menu is, as you would expect from Indian restaurants, quite extensive. I took a few photos to give you an impression. The bathura was delicious, as was my chicken khorma. The others were also satisfied. We thought it was OK in terms of price, but the drinks were really expensive. Around €5 for a 0.4l beer is really not cheap. All in all, it's somehow still within reason. Our table was right on the street, many people like it, we would have preferred (as agreed) to sit a little away from the "main" street. Therefore, deduction for the ambience, but in the end it was ok. All in all a good 4 stars :-) see you next time!

Apart from being an excellent Indian restaurant, it is also a fantastic cocktail bar with a large menu of different cocktails at a pleasant price. Thanks, we will be back!

We had dinner at Darjiling Restaurant yesterday. I had chicken masala. I found a piece of plastic wrap about 3x5cm in size in my food. The waiter's reaction was simply: "I'll pass it on". No apology, the full price of the meal was still on the bill, no compensation whatsoever! I worry about having swallowed small pieces of plastic wrap and don't want to know what would have happened if I had swallowed the large piece. We've eaten there before. Now for the last time. I strongly advise against visiting there as it can be dangerous to your health. PS: TO YOUR ANSWER: I immediately informed the waiter about the piece of plastic wrap in my food. As already mentioned, the reaction was just: "I'll pass it on". No apology, no regrets, no restitution of any kind. He reacted as if he had experienced this many times and wanted to get it over with quickly. Therefore I cannot confirm your answer. We expected at least that there would be an apology or that the food would not be included in the bill, but they were charged full price for a meal that was potentially dangerous to health.

Friendly service in a good atmosphere. We sat outside and enjoyed the hustle and bustle in Alt-Tegel.

Nice Indian place with lots of seating inside and outside. The service is courteous and considerate. The food came quickly despite the restaurant being full, but unfortunately card payment is not possible here (currently). Everything was reasonably priced and the cocktails were top notch

Delicious food with a nice selection of dishes. I particularly liked the chicken tikka, well seasoned, great aroma, tender meat. I also really liked the fact that there was the option to order a selection of dishes for one person. No. 80 for example. I wanted more intensity, not spicy enough for Indian food, compared to what I've eaten so far. Still highly recommended 👍

Been going there for many years. The food is always good. The service is friendly. You can sit comfortably inside and outside. The cocktails are attractively priced, but unfortunately the long drinks may be very watered down as a result. But we'd love to come back.

The food is good, only the salad has a slightly strange dressing in terms of taste. Service is also ok, sometimes you have to wait a little longer, but that's still completely ok. After ordering, the food came quite quickly.

Panir pakoras , souces with pakoras delicious. 5 points 6.Sabji shorba , very less veggie but more souce ( curryshane souce) I know soupe always like this but honestly the vegetables were very less and same with the main course one and only thing which I don't like that food is full with Shane . Shane was too much . 7. Chapati is very nicely cooked :-5 points. 8. Waiting time is also there but person can forget if the food will be great. Overall 3 points sorry but to be honest.

Big disappointment. The food used to be really great here. Now we were here for lunch. We ordered 4 different (!) meals, all of them had the same boring sauce. Too bad.

You can enjoy the food for longer.🤢 Sauce supposedly without cream. But she wasn't. The alleged lamb wasn't one either. Both objections were accepted without a word. There were two of us, we had 2 different meals, but the same problem. Stomach/intestinal problems started straight away in the restaurant and lasted for 2 days. Never again !!!

It was our first time eating in this restaurant. We have been to different Indian restaurants many times, which is why, as Europeans, we can judge the food very well. The food was very good because it wasn't all just curry, curry and curry. In most Indian restaurants everything tastes the same or similar, but thankfully not here, which is why I give the food 5 stars. The service was fair and there was hardly any friendliness. Apparently small children are not welcome in the restaurant. The icing on the cake was that EC card payments were not possible, which was neither stated nor pointed out!

We spontaneously had lunch here yesterday. Everyone was friendly and the food came quickly. I had Malai Kofta, the potato rolls tasted very good, but also much milder than I remembered from my last visit to the Indian restaurant. The sauce was plentiful and rich, the rice was very good, the salad was small and bland. The tea came out of the bag, but was completely fine. Very good price. The restaurant and the toilets are clean.

No card paying and a waiter didn't inform us about it. There is no any information that there is no card paying. We had to search for bankamat to pay. It was my first visit of this place and the last one.

Noch nie so schlecht indisch gegessen. Ich liebe es indisch essen zu gehen und war schon in sehr vielen Restaurants. Auch als ich in Indien war schmeckte das Essen besser. Das Hühnchen schmeckte wie 3 Tage alt die Soße total versalzen. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Kann manche zwecks schlechten Service nicht verstehen. Fand alle sehr höflich und nett. Essen war sehr gut hätte für meinen geschmack einen kleinen Ticken intensiver sein können. Aber das ist eben Geschmackssache. Ambiente finde ich auch schön. Mich stört es halt nicht wenn Autos vorbeifahren oder Leute zwischen den Tischen durch gehen. Weiter so.

This has been one of the worst restaurant service experience we have had in many years living in Berlin. The basic courtesy that you expect when one goes to any restaurant was missing. The staff is least interested and the way food is served was strange. The food taste was equally bad. Avoid at any cost! Edit/Update We did not ordered samosa as mentioned by the owner in reply. Our order was different.

Sehr gutes indisches Essen, sehr lecker und vor Allem freundliches Personal. Die Cocktails sind einwandfrei und werden schön hergerichtet. Sitzbereiche gehen von Innenbereich über Außenbereich mit Terrasse.

Alles ist Geschmacksache. Zwei von uns haben das Essen und Trinken genossen, den beiden anderen hat es nicht so zugesagt.

Essen ist sehr lecker. Das Ambiente ist nicht die beste Wahl, da man hier nicht die Ruhe bekommt, die man sich wünscht. Service ist eigentlich sehr gut, nur kann man hier nur Bar bezahlen, was natürlich gut wäre wenn dies erwähnt würde. Parkplätze sucht man hier verzweifelt, wer aber jedoch mit Auto hier her fährt ist selber schuld.

Also ich verstehe die Rezession überhaupt nicht. Wir waren zu 4 da und mit einem kleinen hund der wurde nicht akzeptiert die waren total angeekelt. Dann hab ich als vorspeise brot bestellt mit den 3 saucen ich bekam die sauce und das brot erst zum hauptgang. Der hauptgang war katastrophal es hat nach nichts geschmeckt null indisch. Und das chicken korma war einfach ekelhaft tut mir leid aber das war der schlechteste indische restaurant wo ich jemals war. Bauchschmerzen hat man kostenlos bekommen also nie wieder.

We tried chilly chicken, lamb kheema and chicken Korma for main course. Chicken Korma was very mild spicy so it’s good for people who prefers less to no spicy food. Other two dishes were not much great. Chicken soup was also fine. Quantity was enough.

Ein indisches Restaurant, aber auch nicht mehr. Das Essen ist mir zu sehr eingedeutscht. Die typischen indischen Gewürze sind zu wenig präsent. Der Service ist sehr gut. Nette Bedienung. Kann man mal hingehen, reißt einen aber nicht vom Hocker.

Für mich auch nach über 10 Jahren der beste Inder Berlins !

Gute Cocktails aber keine Kartenzahlung möglich

Die Cocktails sind absolut empfehlenswert und auch das Essen ist top! Wir nehmen immer das Cross gebackene Hänchen Paprika 5A mit kleinen Salat und das Ballon Brot mit 3 Saucen und Reis! Das Teilen wir uns, weil es schon viel ist und bezahlt haben wir ca.24€ inkl. den zwei Cocktails (Pinacolada 🍸 & Caipirinha) und die waren nicht klein.. ich hoffe das bleibt alles so und verfällt nicht der Inflation (heute 31.05.23)

Wir waren vor 10 Jahren Wöchentlich hier, war immer geil! Nach 10 Jahren sind wir immernoch wöchentlich hier! Dieser Laden ist der Hammer! Preise sind sehr fair, der Chef ist der beste den wir je kennengelernt haben und die Cocktails sind top!!!🚨😍 An jeden der noch nicht hier war, gönnt euch ihr werdet es nicht bereuen! ❤️

Dem Kellner hat sich Salatschüssel auf Tisch umgekippt, Salat hat vom Tisch in Schüssel wieder gesammelt und uns gewünscht guten Appetit, auf frage was soll das sein, antwortet - habe doch neue gebracht, wenn so was beim Kunden passiert, hätte nicht wissen was macht sich in die Küche. Am Ende teilte er uns herzlich mit, dass nur Barzahlung möglich sei, darauf war ich natürlich nicht vorbereitet und musste 600 m in eine Richtung zum Bank gehen.Auf Glück war es nicht so weit. Nie wieder. Einfach Frechheit.

Habe ihr sehr gut gegessen. Das Lunch-Angebot Mo - Fr ab 12 Uhr hat eine große Auswahl an Gerichten. Das Hühnchen im Chicken Korma war butterzart! Wirklich lecker, auch die indische Suppe vorab. Service war nett und zurückhaltend, sehr angenehm! Die Räume waren sauber.

Reichhaltig und richtig lecker 😋 . Gut besucht deshalb sollte man evtl reservieren wenn man zu Stosszeiten essen möchte. Parkplätze in der Nähe sind zufällig, deshalb müsste man einen weiten Fußweg in Kauf nehmen, lohnt sich aber.

Wir waren spontan am Abend da und haben einen schönen Platz drinnen gefunden Hell und sauber, wie wir es erwartet hatten. Alle freundlich und schnell wie immer. Wir kommen gern hierher und lassen uns jedes Mal mit dem vegetarischen Essen und der top Cocktail-Karte gut gehen. Danke an das gesamte Team.

Das Ambiente war mir irgendwie zu kühl, aber das ist ja auch ansichtssache.

Vor 2 Jahren schnarke im Vorspeisen Salat. Jetzt 2ter versuch die "cocktailbar" auszuprobieren und naja was soll man sagen 2 cocktails bestellt und wurden dann rausgeworfen da wir nichts zu essen bestellt haben. Fazit laden ist unten durch und wird nicht mehr besucht.

Wir haben spontan entschieden mit leckeren Cocktails,in einem Geburtstag hineinzufeiern obwohl der Laden gg. 22.40 h schon fast leer war,hatten wir mit 8 Leuten viel Spaß,der Service war toll und die Cocktails waren.....MEGA
