AMRIT Restaurant Schoneberg in Berlin

The food was a huge disappointment; the chicken in the curry was tasteless and of poor quality. The rice was cheap, not basmati. Never again.

They have various menu basically Indian's cuisine. They have big portion each. The fritter platter is good.

We ate at the restaurant today and it was simply fantastic from start to finish! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced – truly authentic and incredibly delicious. A very special thank you goes to Rishnu: attentive, friendly, warm, and always with a smile. He made our visit truly exceptional. Top service, top food, top atmosphere – we'll definitely be back!

The dining experience here is a solid 8. The ambience and hospitality would be the highlight. The food portions are pretty good too. Naturally, being an Indian restaurant, they cater the vegetarian palate without comprising on taste. Could easily be a go-to spot if you’re out and about for especially for a dining experience.

Since I live and work on the same street, I always have the opportunity to observe this establishment. In my opinion, it's a business that does its job well and clearly stands out from other similar businesses because it has respectable customers. The dishes are perfect for lovers of this cuisine. It's definitely not comparable to other establishments that sell tasteless products at low prices. In my opinion, it would be impossible to eat and drink at those other places if you had to pay for it. It's very different from places where people under 18 sit down in the restaurant, eat "sauce bread" from the place across the street, and get their own drinks out of their bags. I wish there were more nice businesses like Amrit.

Delicious. I especially like their soups. The rest of the menu, in my opinion, doesn't differ much in taste or variety from other Indian restaurants in Berlin. It's worth noting that the interior and the attitude of the staff are a special treat.))) Yes, I like the interior; it's a bit pretentious, but pleasant. The staff is very attentive and friendly—sometimes you get the feeling they're paid extra for it, and yet they're not at all annoying. Bravo.

For me, the best Indian restaurant in Berlin. Whenever I'm in Berlin, I always enjoy eating here. The service is always attentive, friendly, and fast. The food is always good, fresh, and well-prepared. When it's full (which it almost always is), the noise level can be a bit high, but it's still a very good restaurant. I'd come back anytime.

Consistency is what is keeping this restaurant in business, they have about three locations in Berlin and the food, service, and vibe are all the same. The food is good and the service is fast, the drinks are very strong and the servers are always polite.

We visited Amrit at Nollendorfplatz for the second time during a weekend trip to Berlin. The place is very busy. The service is very friendly and attentive. The decor and ambiance are beautiful and tasteful, not over-the-top like some other Indian restaurants. The food is very tasty. We had a dish with planted chicken, which was very good (No Malabri Chicken), and the amchi bengan masala. Our request for a mixed vegetarian appetizer plate, which wasn't on the menu, was immediately accommodated. The price/performance ratio is also really good. Here in the countryside, you often pay more. So, a clear recommendation for Amrit in Schöneberg. We'll be back.

Unprofessional Employee – Inappropriate Behavior I was dining at this restaurant with friends some time ago when an incident with a member of staff became very unpleasant. During the meal, a server pointed out that my beard was "a bit long" and criticized me for drinking wine. When I asked him about it, he explained that he had assumed I was a Muslim and drank alcohol. He briefly mentioned that he was a Muslim. I then asked him not to make assumptions about my religion or to criticize my choice of drink. Instead of addressing this, he glared at me angrily for several seconds and then left the table. This behavior was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Guests should feel welcome and uninhibited in a restaurant – unfortunately, that was not the case here. I hope management takes this incident seriously and provides training on guest interaction and customer service.

The food at Amrit restaurant in Berlin is truly top-notch! The staff is extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and cozy. The crispy samosas, aromatic pakoras, creamy butter chicken, rich dal makhani, and delicious palak paneer delight every time. The soft naan and perfectly cooked basmati rice round it all off. Every bite is a delight, and I highly recommend this place for authentic Indian cuisine.

Very delicious food, a pleasant atmosphere, and friendly staff, and above all, a place where you can meet up for dinner even late at night. And because the food went so quickly and we weren't even finished talking, we had two delicious cocktails for dessert – also perfect. It's not for nothing that it's one of my child's favorite restaurants. We'd gladly go back.

Nice ambiance, attentive service, poor food and drink: The chicken tasted rubbery, as if the cheapest meat had been lightly seared on the outside. The sauce, although spicy according to the menu, was totally mild. The pilsner tasted more like a light beer, and the alcohol content felt like 0.0%. SUMMARY: Not recommended if you value good food.

At this point I’m starting to be a regular in Amrit when visiting Berlin. I have never been disappointed so far. Portions are generous, tasty and well seasoned, a true bomb of flavours. The decor is also great, creating a sense of being taken to India directly. Even the bathroom was cosy, made me feel as in a massage salon. Great place to eat and to experience.

Disgusting... there was a really disgusting cockroach floating in my drink, and when I spoke to the staff, they laughed at me. They didn't accommodate me after this incident, and I still had to pay full price. Cockroaches in my drink, I can't even imagine the kitchen. Disgusting 😡

I recently had the opportunity to dine at AMRIT Restaurant Schöneberg in Berlin and was extremely impressed. I tried the Chicken 65, Chicken Tikka Butter Masala, and Bombay Chicken Masala, and I can honestly say that each dish was absolutely delicious. The quality of the ingredients and the mastery with which the dishes were cooked were truly evident in every bite. The flavors were rich and authentic, transporting me directly to the heart of Indian cuisine. Beyond the exceptional taste, I was pleasantly surprised by the speed of the service. I ordered butter chicken and a mango lassi. While the butter chicken was fine, the mango lassi was missing from my order. When I called the restaurant, they insisted that everything had been delivered and said there was nothing they could do. They refused to issue a refund, even after I explained that Uber Eats had directed me to contact them directly.

We had a wonderful experience at this excellent Indian restaurant. The chicken curry and barramundi curry were both absolutely delicious, just as recommended – and perfectly mild, as we requested. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive, and the cocktails were also surprisingly good – flavorful and well balanced. Very delicious food. We had the cauliflower, which was particularly well seasoned. The paneer tikka is highly recommended. For drinks, we had the fresh iced tea and the Little Bombay. Once again, I had a very good meal at Amrit. The service at Amrit is always exceptionally good. I had a delicious lentil dal with naan bread and three sauces. My companion had cheese and lentil soup as a starter. Both were really well-seasoned. Amrit in Schöneberg is a bit smaller than in Mitte and at Potsdamer Platz, so it felt a bit more cozy.
