The food was fantastic, the restaurant was beautifully designed, the staff were very friendly, and at €5.50 it was quite affordable. We waited about 5 minutes. Top restaurant, we'll definitely be back!

I'm actually truly shocked by the owner's incredibly unfriendly reaction. Quite late at night, I happened to be passing by the store with a friend and just wanted to pick up a packet of prawn crackers. After buying them, my friend asked if she could use the restroom for a moment. Apparently, we weren't "customer enough" with the €2.50 for the prawn crackers. She very rudely said that it wasn't worth it for her to offer us the restroom. But if we wanted to clean it, we were welcome to use it. Really not recommended given the human treatment!

Very fresh soup, delicious and affordable, highly recommended. I only remembered to take pictures after eating.

Personally, the prices are unbeatable, and it's the best phoe I've had in a long time. I'll be back.

I recently visited a small Vietnamese shop and had chicken with noodles. The dish was very freshly prepared and had a pleasantly light flavor. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the noodles were perfectly cooked and not too soft. I particularly appreciated the fresh herbs, which added a flavorful touch to the dish. The portions were also generous, so you felt full without feeling overstuffed. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. Overall, a highly recommended place to enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

July 5-August 6, 2025: Temporarily closed due to holidays! Good quality and quantity at a reasonable price. Disadvantage: better for pickup than at the restaurant, as it's cramped and not very comfortable. Note: Delivery is not possible!

Price meets value. Unfortunately, the price is so low that the value doesn't match. The summer rolls were still reasonably good, but the pho ga was unfortunately not very authentic (no fresh chicken, no fresh herbs, and it tasted like it came from a packet). Well, as I said, you can hardly expect anything else for that price.

Okay, time seems to have stood still a bit here. But: reliable, honest and reasonable food and if you look at the prices, more than cheap in this area. The owners have been working for many years and a smile is returned with a smile just like that. In short: I like going there. Again and again. In the evening you can also call and order food if you know each other as neighbors and residents. Little bling bling! Exactly my thing!

The duck dish cost 9.20. A dish without meat, just vegetables and rice, cost 8.90. A strange price range. The first time I had a vegan version, I got a lot of vegetables on my plate; the other time, there were very few, and I was barely full. The food is good.

This was my first time here, even though I walk by quite often. You can taste the freshness and authenticity. I ordered the 33, with delicious vegetables and a lovely sauce. I'd love to come back!!

The fish sauce was mixed with vinegar, the summer rolls consisted mainly of glass noodles and iceberg lettuce. Shrimp were split in two and there was only half of it per roll. The shrimp chips that came with it for free smelled of rancid fat. The dim sums tasted like brackish water. The fried rice noodles tasted like a burnt pan. Never again!

Delicious food! Pleasant atmosphere with lovely service! My udon soup was varied in taste with the right amount of spiciness. The portions were large for the good price. Great price performance!!!

An incredibly rude lady. Raises his voice, becomes incredibly angry. I don't recommend it to anyone - the store is empty anyway. I've never experienced anything like that, really.

It's a very cozy Vietnamese restaurant with delicious food.

I've been eating at this place for years. The owners are so friendly and attentive. The quality of the food speaks for itself. No additives like in other stores. Don't be fooled by the space. The shop looks like a snack bar, but the food is A1. I can recommend the evening menu. The dishes come on hot plates. Incredibly delicious. Especially the one with lemon and beef. So far there hasn't been anything that doesn't taste good. Baked pineapple is also simply delicious.

I lived nearby for 3 years and Dao Gia was and still is my favorite restaurant! The restaurant is run by a lovely and warm Vietnamese family. My favorite main course is the pho bo soup, which I highly recommend. My favorite appetizer are the spring rolls with meat filling and fish sauce. If you want to eat authentically, deliciously and cheaply, you've come to the right place!

Pho beef and red curry with fried chicken were absolutely delicious. Price for the quality of the dishes is unbeatable.

Essen ist ganz gut hier. Vor allen wenn man ein gutes, frisch gekochtes Mittagessen sucht. Dies gibt es hier noch für 5 bis 7 Euro.

Beste Pho, die ich je gegessen habe. Laut dem herzlich netten Chefkoch wird die Fleischbrühe 9 Stunden lang gekocht. Keine Ahnung, ob's stimmt, aber es schmeckt sehr gut und die Preise sind vernünftig. Punktabzug gibt's für's Ambiente. Ein bisschen schicker könnte man den Laden schon noch ausstatten.

Wird alles nach Bestellung immer frisch zubereitet. Geht fix und Preis-Leistung stimmt einfach.

Habe mir heute auf dem Heimweg Nr.3 (Tom Kha Gai) und Nr.41 (Bratreis mit Hühnchen) geholt. Zusammen gab es die Bestellung für 11,80 €, wobei die Suppe bei 5 € und der Reis bei 6,80 € lagen. Bewertung: Nr. 3 - Tom Kha Gai: Kokosnusssuppe mit Huhn und Gemüse (scharf): Die Suppe war geschmacklich gut, wenn auch etwas wenig Kokosmilch. Die Brühe die als Basis verwendet wurde war der klar dominierende Geschmack. An Gemüse gab es neben Karotten, Zucchini, Brokkoli, Champignons, Kürbis(?) auch Sellerie. Scharf war die Suppe leider nicht, eher würzig (aufgrund der Brühe). Nr. 41 - Bratreis mit Hühnerfleisch: Eine gute Portion mit ausreichend Hühnchenfleisch. Was ich mir gewünscht hätte, wären etwas mehr Gemüse bzw. farbliche Akzente (bspw. durch grünen Lauch oder Frühlingszwiebeln) gewesen. Zusammenfassung: Wenn man kleinere Abstriche für ein schnelles, frisch gekochtes Mittagessen machen kann, findet man hier was man sucht. Da ich die erste Bestellung des Tages hatte, werde ich dem ganzen noch eine zweite Chance geben und die Rezension (Stand 1. Mai) ggf. anpassen. Bemerkung: Das Essen wurde bei mir daheim in Schüsseln umgefüllt. Vor Ort gab es Plastikverpackungen.

Тут просто невероятно вкусно!!! И цена в 2 раза ниже, чем в других подобных заведениях. Порции огромные, очень вкусный вегетарианский Рамен с креветками. Насыщенный вкус. Будем заходить сюда часто! Спасибо за душевное вкусное место

Gebratene Nudeln oder gebratener Reis mit Hühnchen geht hier immer. Für mich: "richtig gutes Zeug" zum sehr fairen Preis. Gesund und lecker.

Die gebratene Ente (zB beim Mangocurry) war mal soooo unglaublich knusprig und lecker und glatte 5Sterne. Seit Mitte 2020 schmeckt das leider nur noch mittelmäßig und irgendwie fehlt die Qualität von früher. Und gleichzeitig wurden die Gerichte ein paar Euro teurer. Schade drum :( war hier eigentlich immer gerne.

Decent Vietnamese restaurant with good options. The owner lady is little annoying at first but warms up soon and is a pleasure to talk to. Food is amazing and healthy too.

Super lecker Nasi Goreng, richtig toll gewürzt und original, sehr nette Bedienung , Preise auch gut, nur bar. Schneller Service und direkt an U-Bahn Station.

You’re not going here for the ambiance or hipness, it’s a fairly simple place that serves good food at a very reasonable price. I liked it.

The owner is so nice. She always recommends her favourite dishes to me. As a frequent customer, she always gives me a free drink or starter. I definitely love this small neighbourhood gem!

This is the, or at least one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in town. It is a humble place, but excels in terms of food quality. The Pho Bo is awesome, just as it tastes and is usually prepared in Hanoi. It easily beats all the new, overpriced Vietnamese places in terms of authentic and high quality Vietnamese food that have poppped up in recent years in the vicinty of that Northern part of Frankfurt. Go and enjoy!!!

Für den Preis wirklich gut. Die vegetarischen Sommerrollen waren perfekt! Die Salat Bowl sehr frisch. Es darf nicht als Restaurant gesehen werden, aber als Bistro und zum mitnehmen top!

Das essen war sehr gut und gute Ambiente aber nicht gute Luftzirkulation system.

Hier gab es mal SEHR gutes knuspriges Hähnchen, bin hier vor Corona sehr gerne hingegangen. Seit Corona habe ich aber den Eindruck, dass hier schlechtere Produkte verwendet werden - knupsrige Hähnchen schmeckt mir nicht mehr wirklich.

Ich gehe hier schon seit Jahren für einen kleinen, günstigen Snack (Sommerrollen! Tom Yum! Banh Tom!) hier her, manchmal auch für ein Mittag oder Abendessen mit meinem Sohn, wenn wir auf dem Weg von der Stadt nach Hause sind. Die Besitzer sind super nett, die Dame des Hauses ist begeistert von meinem Sohn der alles probiert und nach Stäbchen zum Essen fragt. Es ist mehr ein Imbiss als ein Restaurant, dafür unschlagbar günstig, frisch und schnell. Für mich könnten manche Gerichte etwas mehr gewürzt sein, auf Nachfrage bekommt man aber alles was man braucht (frische Chili, Fischsauce, Limette, Kräuter). Ich gebe 4, 5 Sterne, da es leider nur einen kleinen Tisch draußen an der Straße gibt und ich nicht so gerne drinnen esse (danach riecht man wie gewokt) :) Meine Favoriten : Summerbowl (ab 7,50€), Sommerrollen (4,00€), banh Tom (5,00€)

Sehr freundlicher Koch! Habe Ente mit Satay-Sauce bestellt. Ente wurde auf den Reis gelegt und blieb so hervorragend knusprig. Diese Sauce war leider etwas salzig und hätte auch ein wenig mehr Gemüse vertragen können. Für das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis kann man sich aber nicht beschweren. Komme wieder; werde aber eine andere Sauce ausprobieren!

Bester gebratener Reis mit extra Tofu, bester Preis!

Ich habe vegetarische Gyozas, Sommerrollen und Pho bestellt. Die Vorspeisen waren köstlich, die supper leider etwas langweilig, hier hätte ich mir mehr frische Kräuter oder so gewünscht

Sehr gutes frisches Essen. Es gibt mehr als nur vietnamesische Speisen. Die Karte ist umfangreich aber nicht überladen mit sehr fairen Preisen. Sehr lecker!
