We ate ice cream to go here every evening during our vacation. The price of €2 per scoop is high considering the quality, and we've had better ice cream elsewhere, but it's okay for the location, and we enjoyed it every day. There are unusual varieties like Yogurette, Oreo, etc.

By far the best ice cream in the region. If you're used to soft serve ice cream from Denmark, you'll love it here. One star deducted because unfortunately, card payments aren't accepted.

I had a large soft serve here (€4.50). It looked large on the outside, but inside it was almost completely hollow, making the portion seem significantly smaller than expected. The taste was okay, but for the price, I don't think it was a good value for money.

The BEST ice cream I've ever eaten. It doesn't get any creamier. With the praline, it's absolutely amazing. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. ;-)

The quality of the ice cream is very good, but the scoop was too sweet for us.

I went there for ice cream every summer, several times a year. Sometimes even three times a day. They had authentic GDR soft ice cream. I was there yesterday, and they don't serve GDR soft ice cream anymore. It's a disaster. They do sell soft ice cream, but it's not the same. It's a shame, really... They've probably changed their ice cream, but it's not the same anymore. But on the corner toward the market square, where they sell bratwurst, there's also an ice cream shop, and they still sell GDR soft ice cream. There's nothing better.

I think I'm not the only one who can say with complete conviction that this is the best ice cream shop I've ever eaten. Besides the fact that the shop has a huge selection and a great location (very close to the beach), the employees are really friendly and helpful. Next time I vacation in Warnemünde, I'll be eating ice cream every night.

This is simply the best soft serve ice cream. Unfortunately, every time I visit Warnemünde, I always have two: one on the way to the beach and one on the way back. The soft serve ice cream combined with cinnamon and the waffle cone is simply heavenly. It would be even more cool, though, if they could add a little bit of rum to the waffle cone 😅

The cherry ice cream was pretty good. The younger lady in the shop speaks English, and was able to help us a little more with picking the ice-cream. Also, beware of the birds. We were warned that the birds will try and steal your ice cream.

Today we bought ice cream, weren't paying attention, and when we paid, they overcharged us. Totally outrageous. 6 scoops of ice cream for €24. We can tip, but ripping off customers isn't acceptable. 😡😡😡

There were two elderly people in front of us on June 12, 2025. The salesperson behaved so stupidly and cheekily. The elderly lady couldn't decide which yogurt ice cream she wanted. You can't really speak of politeness here.

Hey, we were there this evening with young and old. The ice cream was so delicious and just great. There was everything your heart desired. The employees there were just great. My daughter couldn't make a decision, you rarely experience so much patience. Clean shop, so we were all able to enjoy our ice cream without any worries. Simply top and highly recommended.

Simply delicious ice cream without question every year, but last year I noticed that there was no ice cream in the waffle. Then I thought it was a coincidence. Back today and I happened to notice that they were starting to fill up the ice cream at the top. When I brought it up, I assume the boss said really fill him up. So as I said, delicious ice cream, but with so many people eating this kind of stuff every day... it's absolutely not okay. What extra profit is made? And at a price of 4.50 I can still demand that the ice cream cone is full. Just sad.

The crowd was big. The short wait was really worth it!! Danish soft ice cream is firmer and creamier compared to our soft ice cream. With the pickled strawberries, the soft ice cream tasted like cold wedding cake cream. I was totally amazed by the taste. I can't say whether the ice cream is just so delicious here, or whether it's the type in general. Definitely try it out!!!

In Warnemünde on the Alten Strom you will find the Danish ice paradise. The soft ice cream is wonderfully creamy and simply delicious. The waffles are freshly baked and are very crispy. The sellers were very nice and handled the rush calmly. We chose the ice cream without topping, but if you like it, there are several options to choose from. But the seagulls also love the ice cream - a brief moment of inattention and the ice cream is torn out of your hand. Unfortunately that happened to us and we had to buy a second ice cream.

Ordered a large, delicious soft ice cream, but…. There was only ice cream on top of the large waffle cone... the large waffle was completely empty... I got a scoop of ice cream at most for 4 euros... Tourist rip off... If only I were one ☹️

Spotted in passing. I am a self-proclaimed soft serve ice cream expert. But I didn't know Danish soft ice cream because it's only available regionally. What can I say? I love creamy soft ice cream. This is awesome and cannot be compared. Service very quick. Price/performance fits. I think that's the only reason I'm going to Warnemünde again 🤓

I've been coming here to order a small Danish cinnamon tip for over 20 years. An absolute pleasure right down to the last bite. But be careful with the seagulls, who love the ice cream just as much.

This is probably the best ice cream shop in all of Warnemünde! Super delicious soft ice cream and with the optional extras such as cinnamon topping there is no expense spared - wonderful! Add to that the beautiful view - it's worth a trip here for that alone!

Excellent ice cream and great varieties - both soft ice cream and scoop ice cream! Each of our visits to Warnemünde also includes an ice cream at the Danish ice paradise. The initially “long line” moved quickly. We also experienced very friendly service. However, we observed a few other customers whose ice cream was stolen by the seagulls. This could be a stressful event, especially for children and older people (it is extremely scary if a seagull steals the ice cream from behind). In order to continue to provide great customer service, I can only imagine that an umbrella needs to be set up in front of the store to protect against the predatory seagulls.

Absolutely disappointed with the soft ice cream brittle/desiccated coconut. There was no taste of vanilla or coconut and luckily at least a seagull got some ice cream

I rarely write reviews but I'm so annoyed by the behavior of the waitress. As soon as I poured the ice cream ball into the cone, it completely broke at the top because the ice cream was so hard. She then simply stuck another croissant underneath. But it didn't provide any better grip in the slightest. As expected, when my son licked it for the first time, the cone collapsed further and the ball landed on the floor. So with a crying child and the squished ice, I went back to the operator and explained to her that it was clear that her design wasn't holding up and that the mistake was actually hers. I got a new ball for which I actually had to pay 2 euros again. An absolute disgrace and absolutely not customer friendly. The ice cream is otherwise delicious and we have been here many times, but this will be the last time, what a shame...

What an amazing place. We got attacked by the seagull after taking the icecream. 5meters after we got the icecream - boom, a almost murder attack 😝 by these naughty seagulls. So we went back and just made a fun of that we are going to take our right of warranty - even we are within of the time of warrant. Not expected anything, they gave us a new icecream (the same we ordered before) for nothing. The 4 people inside - all of them were pretty nice - even there were always 10-20 people in the row… By the way, the icecreams were delicious - do not like just to recommend the ones we ordered - more the options they have at all Thanks for everything 🙏

The ice cream is good, but too expensive for what you get. You can look from top to bottom after licking once. It's a shame that goggle doesn't accept the picture of the ice because you can see how hollow the ice is in the middle.

I don't understand the hype about this icecream. The whipped cream is nice but the ice is average and the chocolate sauce not house made. Disappointed.

Das Schoko-Vanille Eis schmeckte tatsächlich so gut wie gar nicht nach Vanille und auch überhaupt nicht nach Schokolade, sondern vor allem nach Sahne und war von der Konsistenz eher nicht wie Softeis, sondern wie fluffig aufgeschäumte Sahne. Sehr merkwürdig - hab ich in der Art noch nicht erlebt. Das Topping - Schokostreusel und Lakritzstreusel gemischt (auf meinen Wunsch 🙂) - fand ich sehr lecker und die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Die Schlange zum Anstehen erschien erst lang, aber es ging dann recht schnell.

Sehr leckeres Softeis, tolle überraschende Überzüge

Schon seit Jahren unser erster Stop in Warnemünde (und in der Mitte, und auch der letzte Stop beim Alten Strom Besuch)! Warum? Super leckeres Eis, stets freundliche Mitarbeiter und für mich gehören Warnemünde und diese Eisdiele zum perfekten Ostsee Urlaub einfach dazu.

leckeres dänisches Softeis mit div. Toppings, auch mit Schokohaube, auch Eis in Kugeln, mehrere Waffeln - aber: Achtung! Passt auf Möwen auf u. stellt Euch zum Schlecken am besten vor die Häuser nebenan (denn die Möwen haben es sogar auf Eis abgesehen)

Ich habe bisher kein besseres softeis gehabt. Alleine wegen des Zimt Eis lohnt es sich in Warnemünde Urlaub zu machen. Auch die Mitarbeiter sind super nett. Love it

Extrem leckeres Softeis mit vielen verschiedenen "Überzügen" möglich. Wir hatten Streusel, Zimt und Schoko und alles war extrem lecker. Auch die große Eistüte war der Hit. Nur die Möwen lauern die ganze Zeit auf Opfer und fliegen von hinten über die Schulter, um das Eis zu klauen. Also Vorsicht!
