Damaskus Center Restaurant in Dresden

I always eat shawarma here. Unfortunetly, Lamm meat for shawarma just for friday and saturday. Just for the taste, the first try 1years ago before they renew the restaurant Was better. Shawarma bread was more crispy and bigger and they gave white sauce.

Amazing place. Amazing food quality. Very nice and friendly people.

We were a group of 12 and the management went out of their way to seat us in a comfortable place even in spite of rush hour! Hospitality combined with flavorful food and middle eastern music touches your soul. I will definitely recommend it!

Delicious food at fair prices. Very family friendly

The Damascus Center is not a restaurant, but rather a self-service snack bar. There were anti-social Talahoons at the front of the bar just chilling there. The tables and floor were dirty and the toilets resembled a drinking bar - an absolute disaster. The only plus point was the food, which was actually tasty and warm. Nevertheless, I cannot recommend this 'restaurant'.

Did try yesterday this restaurant was first time recommended by someone coming from far away the service was just ok,chicken nice salad ok, Bread not hot enough rice not good not flavour and tasty not soup. I can’t say I am recommending! but okay.

Very tasty oriental snack with many vegetarian options. The veggie starter plate I ordered is highly recommended! It's been a long time since I've eaten such creamy hummus and such crispy falafels. The portion size is also very generous and the price is extremely fair, just when you look at the size of the halloumi pieces. The atmosphere in the restaurant itself is a bit kitschy but still inviting and the staff are very friendly and quick with the order.

The food is really good. The fried chicken is juicy and spicy. The schwarma is one of the best item here, though it may feel a bit dry, but taste is really good.

The prices are astronomical and touristic, God willing The smallest shawarma sandwich costs 6 euros Compared to other stores, the same quality is better. Even the largest sandwich costs 6 euros. You must learn from the people of Leipzig about the cheap ones who have the smallest shawarma sandwich they sell for 3.5-4 €. While you are too overpriced...

We had a spontaneous meal here today and were very happy with the food and the exceptionally friendly staff. The food is freshly prepared and tastes very tasty, highly recommended, and the prices are fair. Extra requests were respected and there was no long waiting time. Mayonnaise and pomegranate dressing were available upon request at no extra charge. Respect a well-run restaurant. All in all, recommended and we'll be back :)

Yes, I had shawarma. Wasn't quite my taste, wasn't my spice. And for a similarly made dürum you had to wait quite a long time. I ordered a falafel plate on site. The food was ready quickly and at first I was happy about the large, tasty and fresh-looking portion. Unfortunately the food was an absolute disappointment, totally tasteless, watery. Without spices, without salt, just like I always know this dish. There was a biting, sour vinegar (?) on a small spot and a few drops of tasteless oil somewhere. Maybe other dishes taste better, but I don't recommend them.

We had such a good food in this place, i will go back again for sure. One little thing is, I don't eat meat and did not realise that the "Crispy sandwitch" contained crispy chicken (which i probably should've known), as it wasn't in the description of the food. I recommend asking if there's any just to be sure. Also they don't have toothpicks, which is a very random thing but I think it's important.

Das Essen war in Ordnung. Für meine Begriffe für ein ganzes Huhn ohne Beilagen waren 15€ zuviel.

Der Mann mit der Glatze war sehr unfreundlich gegenüber mir. Gestern hab ich Shawarma und dazu Mayonaise gegessen. Aber es gab heute keine Mayonaise dazu. Als ich danach gefragt hab, meinte er: Was hast du Problem??? So unhöflich ist er leider gewesen. Beim Bestellen hat er uns auch die ganze Zeit ignoriert und mit seinen Kollegen geredet. NIE WIEDER IN DIESES RESTAURANT!!!

Enttäuschendes Erlebnis - Zu viel Gewürz, dreckige Toiletten und lange Wartezeiten zu überhöhten Preisen! Als wir uns entschieden, dieses Restaurant auszuprobieren, hatten wir hohe Erwartungen. Leider wurden wir jedoch schnell enttäuscht. Das erste, was uns auffiel, war die übertriebene Würzung der Speisen. Jeder Bissen war regelrecht überwältigend und ließ uns die eigentlichen Aromen der Zutaten nicht genießen. Es schien, als wäre hier beim Kochen eine Handvoll Gewürze in die Töpfe gefallen, ohne Rücksicht auf den Geschmack der Gäste. Neben dem unangenehmen Geschmackserlebnis stellten wir auch fest, dass die Toiletten schmutzig und vernachlässigt waren. Es ist wirklich bedauerlich, dass ein Restaurant, das sich selbst hochwertig nennt, nicht in der Lage ist, eine angemessene Sauberkeit aufrechtzuerhalten. Es ist unhygienisch und beeinträchtigt das Gesamterlebnis der Gäste erheblich. Ein weiterer Punkt, der uns sehr enttäuscht hat, waren die extrem langen Wartezeiten. Wir verbrachten eine gefühlte Ewigkeit damit, auf unser Essen zu warten, und das, obwohl das Restaurant nicht einmal voll besetzt war. Die langen Wartezeiten haben unsere Stimmung beeinträchtigt und das Essen letztendlich weniger genießbar gemacht. Nicht zuletzt waren wir schockiert über die Preise in diesem Restaurant. Die Portionen waren klein und die Preise waren extrem hoch im Vergleich zu ähnlichen Restaurants in der Umgebung. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass wir für das, was wir bekommen haben, viel zu viel bezahlt haben. Es war enttäuschend zu sehen, wie wenig Wert hier auf ein angemessenes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis gelegt wurde. Alles in allem war unser Besuch in diesem Restaurant eine große Enttäuschung. Die übertriebene Würzung, die dreckigen Toiletten, die langen Wartezeiten und die überteuerten Preise haben uns das Erlebnis gründlich verdorben. Wir werden definitiv nicht wiederkommen und können dieses Restaurant nicht empfehlen.

Сначала о хорошем: находится заведение в самом центре в пешеходной зоне, есть столики с зонтами на улице. Теперь о грустном: мы отравились всей семьёй (плохо было и взрослым и детям). Ни до, ни после нигде не ели, поэтому сомнений нет. Очень жаль, т.к.кафе расположено очень удобно, и курица выглядела нормально, но видно что-то пошло не так :-(
